Abstract

Braking Automation system is needed to make people do their job in braking while driving. This paper aims to design and construct an electromagnetic braking automatic system that able to make car stopped before colliding a barrier by applying of the Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) method. To find out how the effective utilization of PID control on electromagnetic braking automatic will be compared with the results of braking without using PID. Determination tuning result of controller PID parameter obtained by using the trial and error methods and obtained the PID parameter values that suitable are Kp = 2.98, Ki = 0.104 and Kd = 1.35. The ultrasonic sensor used as detection the distance to a barrier. From the testing results of electromagnetic braking system with PID control more effective than with the electromagnetic braking system without PID because it can be seen from the side cessation of the car approaching set point, the results of the electromagnetic braking with PID control better than the electromagnetic braking without PID control.

Abstract

Teeth post root canal treatment (RCT) would be very brittle because it has lost moisture and most of the hard tissue, so they need a restoration. Ceramopolymer is one of the choosen material for posterior onlay restoration recently. A tooth with subgingival caries often pose problems. Non adequat restoration can cause secondary caries and a failed restoration. The aim of this case report is to demonstrate a succeed treatment of crown lengthening with ceramopolymer onlay as post RCT restoration on maxilla secondary molar with irreversible pulpitis. A 30-year-old female patient was referred for RCT on the maxillary right second molar with irreversible pulpitis. RCT, crown lengthening and indirect onlay had been performed. Teeth that have taken RCT needs an restoration and ceramopolymer is a material that can be chosen. Ceramopolymer is an indirect restoration filled with 73% micro-fine ceramic. It combines the advantages of composite and ceramics so it provides a highly strong but elastic restoration for posterior teeth. Surgical crown lengthening can be done to gain access to subgingival area and cleaning the caries site and also to give an adequat tooth preparation. Crown lengthening with ceramopolymer onlay as post RCT restoration on maxilla secondary molar showed a successful treatment outcome.

Abstract

Kedelai merupakan salah satu komoditas yang menjadi target pemerintah untuk swasembada pangan. Peningkatan produksi dalam negeri mutlak sangat diperlukan. Salah satu cara untuk peningkatan produksi kedelai adalah dengan menggunakan varietas unggul. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati keragaan agronomi beberapa varietas unggul baru berbiji besar di Provinsi Aceh. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada dua lokasi berbeda yaitu Kabupaten Aceh Utara dan Aceh Tamiang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa varietas berpengaruh terhadap semua peubah yang diamati kecuali jumlah cabang, jumlah polong dan bobot biji per tanaman di Kabupaten Aceh Utara. Produksi masing-masing varietas berturut-turut adalah Anjasmoro (2 tha-1), Grobogan (1.35 tha-1), Biosoy 1 (2.81 tha-1), Biosoy 2 (3.18 tha-1). Nilai heritabilitas berkisar antara 0.06 - 0.98. Varietas juga berpengaruh terhadap semua peubah yang di amati kecuali jumlah cabang dan jumlah polong pada penanaman di Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang. Rata-rata produksi setiap varietas berturut-turut adalah Anjasmoro (1.58 tha-1), Grobogan (2.18 tha-1), Biosoy 1 (4.20 tha-1) and Biosoy 2 (4.06 tha-1). Nilai heritabilitas berkisar antara 0.48 - 0.97. Varietas Biosoy 1 dan Biosoy 2 merupakan varietas unggul baru yang menunjukkan penampilan terbaik pada kedua lokasi penanaman.

Abstract

Anggrek Cyimbidium adalah  jenis anggrek yang sangat popular di Indonesia dengan ciri khas bunganya yang menyerupai perahu. Optimalisasi budidaya anggrek dengan teknik kultur jaringan dapat dilakukan dengan metode modifikasi media MS. Penggunaan jenis zat pengatur tumbuh alami dengan konsentrasi yang tepat merupakan salah satu kunci keberhasilan dalam kultur jaringan serta dapat menekan biaya untuk kultur jaringan anggrek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh modifikasi media MS dengan penambahan air kelapa terhadap subkultur  anggrek Cymbidium secara in vitro. Penelitian Menggunakan Rancangan acak lengkap faktorial dengan 6 ulangan yaitu modifikasi media MS; media MS penuh (M1), media ½ MS (M2), dan media ¼ MS (M3) dan  konsentrasi air kelapa, yaitu 0 ml air kelapa (K1), 100 ml air kelapa (K2), 200 ml air kelapa (K3), dan 300 ml air kelapa (K4). Variable pengamatan meliputi waktu persentase tumbuh tunas, jumlah tunas, jumlah akar, dan tinggi tunas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi interaksi antara perlakuan modifikasi media MS dengan penambahan air kelapa untuk subkutur I anggrek Cymbidium terhadap peubah persentase tumbuh tunas di 2-8 MST, jumlah tunas di 4, 6, dan 8 MST, jumlah akar di 2-8 MST, dan tinggi tunas di 8 MST. Namun tidak berbeda nyata terhadap peubah jumlah tunas di 2 MST.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of drying temperature and time on the antioxidant activity and sensory properties of pohpohan leaves herbal tea and determine the temperature and drying time that produced the highest antioxidant activity and the best sensory properties. This research was a two-factor factorial experiment with a completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor was the drying temperature (40°C, 50°C, and 60°C), and the second factor was drying time (110, 120, and 130 minutes). All treatments were repeated twice in order to obtain 18 experimental units. The data obtained were analyzed by Analysis of Variance and if the treatment had a significant effect, then continued with the Duncan Multiple Range Test. The results showed that the drying temperature of 50°C for 130 minutes was the best treatment that produced herbal tea with the following criteria: water content of 7.80%, extract content in water 22.76%, total phenol 8.65 mg GAE/g; total flavonoids 1.65, mg QE/g; IC50 value of 57.03 ppm; and panelists' acceptance for the color, aroma, taste, and overall aspects was neutral.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of extraction time on the antioxidant activity of duwet leaf extract and which can produce the highest antioxidant activity in duwet leaf extract. The design used in this study was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with treatment consisting 6 levels; 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 25 minutes, and 30 minutes which was repeated 3 times so that it is obtained 18 experimental units. The parameters observed were yield, total phenol, total flavonoids, and antioxidant activity. The data obtained were analizye using variance and if there was a significant effect on the treatment of the observed variables, it was continued with the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that the extraction time of duwet leaf extraction using the Ultrasonic Assisted Extraction method had a significant effect on total phenol, total flavonoids, and antioxidant activity of duwet leaves. The best results were obtained at the extraction time of 25 minutes which has strong antioxidant activity based on the IC50 value of 99.74 ppm, yield 30.24%, total phenol 445.78 mg GAE/g, and total flavonoids 48.90 mg QE/g.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of temperature and drying time on antioxidant activity of starfruit leaf herbal tea bags and to obtain the best drying temperature and time that can produce starfruit leaf herbal tea with the best antioxidant activity. This research was conducted by using experimental design with Complete Randomized Design factorial pattern of two factors which are drying temperature (50oC, 60oC, 70oC) and drying time (120 minutes, 180 minutes, 240 minutes). There were 9 treatment combinations, each treatment combination was repeated 2 times so that the number of treatment combinations was 18 experimental units. The data obtained were analyzed by analysis of variance. If the treatment had a significant effect, it would be followed by the Duncan Multiple Range Test. The results showed that interaction beetwen drying temperature and time treatment had a very significant effect on antioxidant activity, total phenol, total flavonoids, water content of starfruit leaf herbal tea, and bitter flavor, and had no significant effect) on color, aroma, taste and overall acceptance. The drying temperature of 50oC with a drying time of 120 minutes was the best temperature and drying time to produce herbal tea bags of starfruit leaves with an antioxidant activity of 87.8049% and based on the IC50 value of 10595.95 ppm, water content of 9.53%, the total phenol content was 1.38 mg GAE / g, the total flavonoid level was 0.94 mg QE / g, and sensory properties of color (liked), aroma (slight liked), flavor (slight bitter, slight liked) and overall acceptance (slightly liked).

Abstract

The development of social media raises a problem related to social change authorities such as thinking paradigms, social behavior, and religious models. This article aims to criticize the development of religious teachings found on social media. The method used is descriptive-critical by using the authority theory Abou El Fadl to assess and analyze the development of religious models in social media while transmission theory to find the authenticity of religious teachings. The result is known that the development of religious models on social media does not display scientific transmission. Religious developments that exist in social media tend to be textual-dogmatic in style, thus impacting on a stagnant religious attitude. The importance of this article is to provide a critical review of the development of religious knowledge found on social media. The critical study lies in the aspect of substance (material) or aspects of transmission (narrator). The authenticity and the development of religious teachings on social media can be known.

Abstract

Disepakati Pancasila sebagai dasar NKRI tidaklah melalui jalan mulus. Para founding father berdiskusi sampai terjadi debat intelektual seru yang menyebabkan mereka hampir berada di ambang perpecahan. Akhirnya disepakati Piagam Jakarta yang di dalamnya memuat Pancasila sebagai dasar negara. Ternyata dengan Piagam Jakarta tidak lantas menyurutkan perselisihan, terutama berkaitan dengan statemen ketuhanan dengan menjalankan syariat Islam bagi pemeluk-pemeluknya. Kemudian dicapai solusi harmonis yang mempertimbangkan sensitivitas pluralitas di Indonesia dan statemen di atas tergantikan dengan pernyataan Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa.Yang terjadi kini, semenjak lengser pemerintahan Orde Baru dan ditabuh genderang reformasi seakan-akan telah menjadi momentum bagi bangsa Indonesia untuk mengaktualisasikan diri sebebasnya yang sebelumnya terpasung di bawah sendi-sendi otoritarianisme. Momentum itu dimanfaatkan oleh sekelompok muslim tertentu yang tidak disadari justru menyulut kembali api permusuhan melalui ungkapan yang disuarakannya, seperti: dirikan khilafah Islamiyah, kembali kepada Islam kāffah, dan seterusnya. Tampaknya atau jangan-jangan mereka ini lupa sejarah terbentuknya Pancasila sebagai dasar negara.Dalam kerangka hermeneutika, Pancasila adalah teks yang dibentuk dan disepakati  para founding father, disampaikan kepada bangsa Indonesia, baik yang muslim maupun non muslim; tetapi setelah Pancasila sampai kepada bangsa Indonesia, para founding father tidak bisa mengendalikan sepenuhnya agar bangsa Indonesia mengikuti pembacaan yang diinginkannya. Kenyataannya bangsa Indonesia meresponnya berbeda sesuai dengan pra-pemahamannya masing-masing meskipun  sama-sama berasal dari kelompok muslim sendiri. Namun demikian sampai sekarang, Pancasila tetap sakti dan tegak di Indonesia. Itu karena kekuatan dan peran masyarakat Indonesia secara keseluruhan, bukan yang lain.
