Abstract

Komunikasi merupakan salah satu sarana bagi manusia  dalam berinterkasi satu dengan lainnya, teori komunikasi semakin hari berkembang seiring berkembangnya teknologi informasi yang menggunkan komunikasi sebagai fokus kajiannya. Komunikasi kontemporer sering diidentikan dengan komunikasi virtual. Komunikasi virtual merupakan proses penyampaian pesan yang dikirimkan melalui internet atau cyberspace. Komunikasi yang dipahami sebagai virtual reality pada ruang lingkup alam maya dengan menggunakan internet. Komunikasi kontemporer sebenarnya dilakukan dengan cara representasi informasi digital yang bersifat diskrit. Internet merupakan media komunikasi yang sering digunakan pada saat ini sebagai menyambung komunikasi dengan berbagai media.

Abstract

The pandemic situation has hampered marriage services at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA), one of which is in the South Binjai District, North Sumatra. The government's policy regarding the postponement of marriage in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak in Indonesia resulted in the absence of registration and the marriage process for the bride and groom (catin) during the years 2020-2021. This condition is feared to increase the number of sexual crimes and adultery that violate state and religious laws. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Lasswell communication model carried out by KUA in South Binjai District in marriage services during the pandemic. The research method used is descriptive with a naturalistic approach. The theoretical reference is Lasswell's communication model. The data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews with a number of informants including the Head of KUA, South Binjai District, penghulu, Islamic religious educators (PNS and non-PNS), and general administrative staff, SIMKAH operators, and two informants from the catin party. This study concludes that the KUA of South Binjai District has implemented the Lasswell communication model, namely communicator, message, media ( channel ), communicant, and effects. However, its implementation has not been fully maximized because there are still obstacles to the use of the nationally integrated web-based SIMKAH application as an information channel. For this reason, KUA needs to combine conventional communication through face-to-face counseling, the installation of banners and posters, with the use of social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

Abstract

Campaign in political marketing is a series of activities that have been planed, strategic and tactical in spreading a political meaning in the voters to make the candidate to be nominated a success. Political brand itself includes the 4p, namely product, promotion, price and placement. This paper examines how the development of campaigns in political marketing and how the emergence of advertising or what is called a political brand. By using descriptive qualitative analiysis, researches want to analyze the data by describing or describing the data collected properly related to compaigns in political marketing and political brands. The result of this study find that campaigns in political marketing can have positive and negative impacts on the election of candidates or candidacy related to politics and how this political brand is also beneficial for the owner of the advertisement who wants to be promoted.

Abstract

The practice of lobbying and negotiation is often seen as the involvement of conflict in politics. A number of negotiation activities, for example, in the process of merging political interests ranging from policy making, coalitions, fusions, alliances to confederations, require negotiation. Likewise, during a conflict, for example, during a border conflict between a country, one of the solutions to cases like this is through negotiation. Ordinary people in general will perceive the practice of lobbying and negotiation as something negative. But actually negotiation can be interpreted as talking with other people with the intention of reaching an agreement and the goals of both parties. The practice of lobbying and negotiation is usually used by legislators as a form of political communication. For that we need the right strategy in lobbying and negotiating. By using descriptive qualitative research, the authors access the data by describing or describing the collected data related to lobbying and negotiation strategies in the political communication process. So that the author can draw the conclusion that the practice of lobbying and negotiation can be carried out by means of a distributive approach (win-lose approach), a lose-lose approach, a compromise approach, and an integrative approach (win-win approach).

Abstract

This study aims to describe how mass communication channels can play a role in suppressing the circulation of hoaxes in society. The scope of this research covers the mass communication channels that exist in Indonesia, starting from the mass media and their types, to how they are used in tackling the rise of hoaxes. The research method used is a literature study of writings in books, journals, scientific articles, and previous research reports. The results obtained from this study, the mass media can suppress the circulation of hoaxes in society with various advantages and capacities of the mass media. In conclusion, mass communication channels play an important role in determining the information received and trusted by the public.

Abstract

Political marketing is a permanent concept that must be carried out continuously by political candidates in building public trust and image. Marketing is needed to face competition in fighting for the market, which in this case is the voters. In the political marketing process, the application of the 4P of the marketing mix is used, namely product, price, promotion, and placement. This paper examines how campaigns are in political marketing and how political brands emerge. By using descriptive qualitative analysis, the researcher wants to analyze the data by properly describing the collected data related to campaigns in political marketing and political brands.

Abstract

Sebagai media baru, banyak fitur yang bisa dimanfaatkan dan dikembangkan oleh setiap pengguna sesuai dengan kreativitas kemampuan pengetahuannya dalam mengembangkan suatu teknologi. Termasuk Instagram. Saat ini penggunaan Instagram sebagai media komunikasi massa terutama dalam hal promosi sudah tidak asing lagi bagi masyarakat yang merasakan perkembangan teknologi yang begitu cepat dan pesat seperti saat ini, baik itu untuk menyampaikan pesan individual, promosi jasa atau produk dari berbagai sifat bidang. Termasuk dari bidang politik ini. Sebagai keterkaitannya dalam penelitian ini, Instagram dapat digunakan sebagai media komunikasi politik. Salah satunya dari akun @narasinewsroom, yang menjadikan Instagram sebagai pemanfaatan aktivitas politik pada media baru ini. Sehubungan dengan penelitian ini, maka kami ingin menganalisis tentang aktivitas Instagram sebagai sarana aktivitas komunikasi politik di akun Instagram @narasinewsroom. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kualitatif deskriptif, yang dimana kami ingin mengungkapkan dan menganalisa data dengan cara mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan data yang terkumpul dan tentu saja terkait dengan penelitian ini.

Abstract

This journal explains the meaning or understanding of psychology and communication as well as the understanding of the psychology of communication, the scope of communication psychology, the benefits of using communication psychology, how communication skills, deciphering the order of successful communication explain the communication process and provide confidence in communicating in an Islamic perspective. The analysis is carried out qualitatively using the perspective of the psychology of communication. The communication process occurs when humans interact in communication activities so as to realize communication motives. The communication process greatly affects the behavior of communication, in the form of confornity, facilities and polarization of communication. In Islam it self has taught us how to convey information and communicate well, between peers and people older than us.

Abstract

Propaganda is an important thing to support success in political communication. Basically propaganda is a persuasive communication technique, which has a greater impact than informative communication. Political communication itself is communication that leads to the achievement of an influence, so that the problems discussed by this communication activity can bind all its citizens with sanctions determined together through political institutions. Social media is a modern media whose use is as a means used by people in everyday life. Social media can quickly and widely disseminate information only through smartphone devices that are connected to the internet. Thus, social media is widely used by political activists, both as information dissemination and as messages containing propaganda, and later this will be conveyed to a wide audience who use social media.

Abstract

Barriers to communication in the Islamic Community Development department actually stem from sending messages and receiving messages as well as how each individual in it responds to messages conveyed during one and a half year lectures conducted online. The obstacles that occur are also due to the lack of confidence from some students with several groups that seem to have interaction and strength in the class. Interpersonal communication that does not go well causes many obstacles that arise in the class. It can be from between Kosma and its members or between fellow members. Communication that is built without interest and no direct interaction can eliminate the main factor in interpersonal communication. Emotions that should be well formed and built when face to face actually become the main problem in the Islamic Community Development class B class. Based on the results of the study, there are three obstacles that occur in the class, namely mechanical, semantic and human barriers. These three obstacles become disturbances that arise among fellow students in the Stambuk 2020 Islamic Community Development class
