Abstract

The attendance system is an important component in the world of education to monitor student attendance regularly and accurately. However, manual attendance methods that are still widely used, such as recording in books, have various disadvantages such as prone to recording errors, data manipulation (absenteeism), and making the attendance recapitulation process difficult. This research aims to develop an automatic attendance system using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology integrated with the Internet of Things ( IoT ). This system is designed so that the attendance recording process can be carried out automatically, in real-time, and directly stored in a web-based database. The system development method uses a prototyping approach, with stages of communication, quick planning, quick design, construction, and feedback from users. The hardware used includes ESP32, MFRC-522 RFID module, 16x2 LCD, buzzer, and push button. While the software is built using PHP Native, MySQL, and Arduino IDE. The system has three main modes, namely Data Add Mode, Opt-In Mode, and Opt-Out Mode. Attendance data will be sent directly to the server and can be accessed by teachers or officers through the web dashboard. The test results using the black box method show that the system is running according to the expected function. The implementation of this system has been proven to improve the efficiency and accuracy of recording student attendance, as well as reduce the administrative burden on the school. Abstract

In the current system, agricultural extension workers manually collect and summarize extension outcome data using spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel). The weaknesses of this manual system are errors in data entry, duplicate data, and a rather long time for recapitulation. This research aims to develop and implement a web-based Irrigation Management Information System that is integrated and easy for agricultural extension workers at the sub-district level to use. The method used in this research is Research and Development, with a prototype model that allows interaction between developers and users during the creation process. The results of functional testing on this system show that the system has met user needs and no errors were found in any of the functions. Additionally, the limited trial involved 35 users who rated the system as very easy to use. It is hoped that with this irrigation management information system, water resource management can be carried out more effectively, supporting agricultural productivity and the overall well-being of farmers.

Abstract

The design of a non-invasive microcontroller-based blood sugar meter is essential for checking blood sugar levels to ensure blood sugar is always within the normal range for people with diabetes mellitus. This non-invasive blood sugar detector uses a photodiode for reading. This study aims to test and validate the performance of this non-invasive blood sugar meter. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. Data collection is carried out through the main technique, namely, direct measurement. The trial was carried out through several stages, namely individual testing, small group testing, and field testing. The trial subjects consisted of individuals with a history of diabetes or prediabetes, as well as healthy volunteers who were willing to participate in the study. In this study, the linear regression method was used to analyze the relationship between the results of the device measurements (independent variables) and actual blood sugar levels (dependent variables) obtained through invasive measurements. The results of the study indicate that this tool successfully functions as an alternative to conventional measurement methods, although the accuracy level still requires improvement, with an average accuracy level of 93.45%. The system as a whole has met the functional requirements criteria in terms of the ability to perform measurements, display results via LCD, and transmit data wirelessly. Non-functional requirements such as portability ease have also been met. Comprehensive testing, including black box testing and field trials, proved that system components can function optimally according to the established technical specifications.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement an automatic lamp control system using Arduino and Passive Infrared (PIR) sensors to reduce electrical energy waste due to human negligence. The system uses two PIR sensors placed in sequence at the entrance to detect human movement and determine the direction of entry or exit. Arduino Uno is used as the microcontroller to process sensor inputs and control the relay that switches the AC lamp on or off. The testing results show that the system works effectively in distinguishing between entry and exit movements. The PIR sensors perform optimally at a distance of 1–2 meters with a response time of less than 500 ms and reliability reaching 100%. The system successfully saves energy by ensuring that the lamp only lights up when someone is inside the room and turns off automatically when the room is empty.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pupuk organic cair (POC) Bio Urine Plus terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi (Oryza sativa L.) varietas Inpari 32 di Desa Turipinggir. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei hingga Agustus 2025 menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, yaitu P0 (kontrol), P1 (3 mL L⁻¹), P2 (5 mL L⁻¹), P3 (8 mL L⁻¹), P4 (10 mL L⁻¹), dan P5 (13 mL L⁻¹) POC Bio Urine Plus. Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah anakan, berat malai, serta berat kering batang dan daun. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) pada taraf nyata 5% dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey’s Honestly Significant Difference (Tukey HSD) apabila terdapat perbedaan nyata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian POC Bio Urine Plus berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 75 hari setelah tanam (HST) serta jumlah daun pada umur 15 dan 45 HST, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah anakan, berat malai, serta berat kering batang dan daun. Perlakuan P4 (10 mL L⁻¹) menghasilkan tinggi tanaman tertinggi sebesar 109,7 cm, sedangkan P5 (13 mL L⁻¹) menghasilkan jumlah daun terbanyak, yaitu 179,3 helai. Meskipun tidak semua parameter menunjukkan perbedaan nyata, pemberian POC Bio Urine Plus cenderung memberikan respons positif terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman, terutama pada fase vegetatif, namun belum memberikan pengaruh yang konsisten terhadap komponen hasil. Dengan demikian, POC Bio Urine Plus berpotensi dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk organik cair dalam mendukung budidaya padi yang lebih efisien dan ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

Melalui pelatihan pembuatan Alat Teknologi terbarukan yang bertemakan “Alat pengukur kesuburan tanah sederhana” diharapkan memberikan suatu inovasi kepada petani berupa alat pengukur kesuburan tanah sederhana. Juga untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman para petani terhadap inovasi terbarukan dalam mengefektifkan pekerjaan di bidang pertanian. Permasalahan petani di desa Jphowinong adalah menurunnya lahan produksi pertanian karena kurangnya pengetahuan dan informasi tentang tingkat kesuburan tanah pada lahan pertanian, kualitas sumber daya manusia serta pemahaman teknologi yang sangat rendah, sehingga para petani mengalami kesulitan untuk mengembangkan inovasi-inovasi terbarukan dalam pengukuran kesuburan tanah. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat in menggunakan Service Learning (SL), diantaranya sosialisasi pelatihan pembuatan Teknologi alat tepat guna pengukuran kesuburan tanah sederhana dan tanya jawab dari berbagai peserta Gapoktan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilakukan di rumah kepala dusun Johowinong desa Johowinong dengan di dampingi perangkat desa dan ketua kelompok serta dosen pendamping lapangan. dilaksanakan pada tanggal 1 September 2023 dalam bentuk sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan melalui tatap muka secara langsung. Produk teknologi alat pengukur kesuburan tanah sederhana memiliki pengaruh dalam proses pekerjaan pertanian karena dapat memudahkan hasil pekerjaan para petani dalam pengelolahan budidaya tanaman jagung dan tebu agar mendapatkan hasil yang optimal, Keberlanjutan program ini perlu dikomunikasikan dan dikoordinaskan dengan pihak Desa dan Ketua Gapoktan desa Johowinong Kecamatan Mojoagung, sehingga dalam jangka waktu kedepannya kegiatan ini akan dilakukan melalui kegiatan pendampingan pembuatan alat pengukur kesuburan tanah sederhana.

Abstract

IPNU IPPNU is a social institution that is a forum for youth that develops awareness and social responsibility towards productive youth. IPNU and IPPNU in Mancilan Village are one of the pillars of youth organizations followed by the wider community who are faced with a number of problems. From the results of pre-program identification, several problems faced by partners were found. The first problem is that the implementation of organizational management is not running well so that many organizational programs are not running optimally. The main obstacle faced is limited funds to carry out various activities aimed at achieving the organization's vision and mission. Currently, their main source of funding is membership fees, which are not always sufficient to support all the initiatives they undertake. With this background, the service team conducted training in understanding digital marketing in Mojoagung District, Mancilan Village, Jombang Regency. This service is carried out to increase sales efforts by utilizing digital platforms. Writing skills in marketplace media are very important for increasing brand awareness for potential consumers. The problem that partners have is that partners have not been able to create captions, taglines, descriptions for products that will be marketed online. Apart from that, regarding digital marketing planning, the service team brought in a resource person, one of the practitioners managing Jombang students' official Instagram accounts, to provide material related to digital marketing. This service activity uses the CBL (Community Based Learning) approach which integrates the involvement of a community in learning consisting of copywriting and digital marketing planning techniques. Then continue creating content that can be uploaded directly to partner social media.

Abstract

Technology in agriculture is something that cannot be separated from its application in the agricultural sector. The use of smartphones in soil pH measuring devices makes the measurement process faster, easier and more affordable. This research aims to develop a simple and affordable soil pH measuring tool for use by farmers in Tanggalrejo Village, Mojoagung, Jombang. The method approach taken for community service in Tanggalrejo Village is to use the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. One of them is by implementing training methods and approaches from local farmers so that indirectly farmers in Tanggalrejo Village can capture the material well. This tool is named "Soil pH Meter" and is designed to help farmers manage the quality of their soil. This research involves the steps of designing, prototyping, field testing, and evaluation. This tool has the potential to increase efficiency in farming and help farmers take appropriate actions to increase crop yields. Based on the results of this community service activity, it can provide an overview of the use of a pH meter for accurate and efficient soil pH monitoring by: (1) Providing understanding and practice in checking soil pH using a telegram monitoring pH meter to farmers in Tanggalrejo Village, so that the Farmers know the condition of bass or acid soil and can determine good and correct handling. (2) Provide understanding and explanation about the use of smartphones, that the soil pH monitoring tool via telegram can be checked via smartphones used by farmers in Tanggalrejo Village.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan di desa Johowinong kecamatan Mojoagumg Kabupaten Jombang, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan wawasan pengetahuan tentang teknologi tepat guna pengukuran suhu dan kelembaban tanah. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2023 dengan menghadirkan Gapoktan dari desa Johowinong Mojoagung Jombnag. Jawa Timur. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi/tanya jawab, demonstrasi dan evaluasi untuk mengertahui kemampuan para petani dalam menerima pengetahuan teknologi tersebut . Kegiatan ini memperkenalkan alat sensor suhu dan kelembapan tanah, mencari komponen yang dibutuhkan yaitu NodeMCU ESP 8266, Soil Mosture Hygrometer Module (sensor kelembapan tanah), Sensor ds18b20 (sensor suhu tanah), mencari sampel tanah untuk menguji alat, dan aplikasi platform Blynk membantu menampilkan hasil pembacaan sensor Demonstrasi dilakukan kepada petani desa johowinong dan menjelaskan juga mengenai cara perancangan dan penggunaan alat, sehingga dapat membantu menampilkan hasil pembacaan sensor. Dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan meningkatkan produktivitas dan pendapatan pertanian serta memberdayakan petani dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan baru terkait teknologi. Dari hasil evaluasi setelah kegiatan hanya 2 peserta dari 12 peserta hadir yang sedikit mengetahui tentang teknologi dalam pertanian. Hal ini menunjukkan para peserta seminar sangat tertarik saat dilakukan demonstrasi dan tanya jawab, para petani membutuhkan informasi tentang cara menyuburkan tanah.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memotiivasi masyarakat desa agar mampu untuk memahami dan mengelola teknologi informasi baru yang bisa diterapkan di desa, memberikan pemahaman dan solusi dari kurangnya perangkat keras yang diperlukan atau jaringan listrik yang tidak stabil, serta memberikan sosialisasi mengenai projek pembuatan lampu otomatis berbasis mikrokontroller, untuk mengatasi masalah teknis yang mungkin muncul dalam penggunakan teknologi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan sosialisasi dan evaluasi. Program Kerja Sosialisasi Hasil Teknologi tepat guna alat Penerangan lampu otomatis bertempat di balai desa Balongsari Megaluh Jombang. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Program teknologi tepat guna alat penerapan lampu otomatis berbasis mikrokontroller di balai desa Balongsari ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang penggunaan teknologi tepat guna dalam penerangan lampu otomatis berbasis mikrokontroller. Pemahaman masyarakat meningkat secara signifikan, yang berdampak pada penggunaan energi yang lebih efisien. Alat Penerangan Lampu Otomatis telah menghasilkan penghematan energi di lokasi yang telah diimplementasikan. Penghematan ini berdampak pada pengurangan biaya energi bagi pemerintah desa dan meningkatkan penerangan di desa seperti panduan penggunaan dan pelatihan aparat desa, telah membantu memastikan keberlanjutan program ini di masa depan.
