Abstract

Penggunaan smartphone dapat merugikan terhadap peningkatan mutu siswa terutama disekolah dasar, hal tersebut dipengaruhi penggunaan smartphone yang berlebihan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan pengaruh smartphone terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Terong, Adonara Timur Kabupaten Flores Timur. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Terong, Adonara Timur Kabupayen Flores Timur. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 84 siswa. Penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei. Penelitian ini memiliki tahapan: pengamatan lokasi penelitian, penyusunan kuesioner, distribusi kuesioner, pengujian validitas, pengumpulan data, pengolahanhasil penelitian, analisis hasil penelitian, dan diskusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh smartphone terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SD meskipun berada dalam kategori rendah. Saran sebagai rekomendasi: siswa tidak menggunakan smartphone yang berlebihan baik di sekolah maupun di rumah. Orang tua dan guru selalu mengawasi anak-anak terutama menggunakan smartphone setiap hari karena efek smartphone pada motivasi belajar siswa sangat rendah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parental social support and learning motivation of elementary school students. This research was correlational research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students of SDK St. Ursula, amounting to 435 people and the sample were 80 students in 5 and 6 grades with a purposive sampling technique. The data collection method used a questionnaire with the measuring instrument that consisted of the scale of parents' social support and the scale of student learning motivation. Data analysis was carried out by using product moment correlation which was calculated using SPSS version 26. The results showed the r value of 0.624, which means that there is a significant positive relationship between parents' social support and student learning motivation at SDK St. Ursula where the higher the parents 'social support, the higher the learning motivation of elementary school students, and conversely the lower the parents' social support, the lower the learning motivation of elementary school students.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether there is an influence of increasing the social inquiry model on elementary social studies education courses for students of the PGSD Study Program at the University of Flores. This research method is quasi-experimental. The population in this study was 75 students in the 1st and 2nd semesters of the PGSD Study Program at Flores University and the research sample was 32 students. The experimental class uses a social inquiry model with orientation steps, formulating problems, formulating hypotheses, collecting data, testing hypotheses, and formulating conclusions. Use of data using tests. Data analysis used the independent t test. The results of the research show that the social inquiry learning model has an influence on the learning of elementary social studies subjects in students of the PGSD Study Program at the University of Flores, with a calculated value of -26.455 with a significance level of 0.05 and df = n-2 = (42-2) = 40, significance 0.000 < 0.05 then Hodi is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

Hasil observasi awal yang dilakukan peneliti di SDI Ende16 Ende terhadap proses pembelajaran IPS menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran masih didominasi oleh guru. Hal ini berdampak pada efikasi diri dan hasil belajar siswa yang rendah. Ketika proses pembelajaran berlangsung siswa terlihat kurang antusias dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, malu mengungkapkan pendapat, serta kurang percaya diri dalam mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan guru. Oleh karena itu diperlukan upaya perbaikan, yaitu dengan penerapan model carousel feedback. Penelitian ini termasuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, tes, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran carousel feedback dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan, dilihat dari persentase ketuntasan klasikal yaitu 65% pada siklus I menjadi 100% pada siklus II.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the principal's role as an innovator on teacher performance at SD Cluster 03 Ende. This type of research is ex-post facto. This study uses a quantitative approach, because the data obtained are presented in the form of numbers and analyzed using statistical analysis. The sample in this study were teachers of SD Cluster 03 Ende, totaling 34 people. Data collection methods used are questionnaires and documentation. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence on the role of the principal as an innovator on teacher performance, this can be seen from the value of tcount (6.919) > ttable 1.69092 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted which means there is a significant influence on the role of the principal as an innovator on the teacher performance variable. And the magnitude of the influence value is 0.599 or 59.9%. So it can be said that 59.9% of teacher performance is influenced by the role of the principal as an innovator.
