Abstract

Objective: This study aimed to explore the intersection of neuroscience and education by analyzing how neuroscientific research informs secondary education, particularly in relation to cognitive development, motivation, and learning strategies. Method: A bibliometric analysis of 218 articles indexed in the Scopus database from 1993 to 2025 was conducted. Keyword co-occurrence mapping, citation tracking, and publication trend analysis were performed using VOSviewer to identify core themes and leading contributors in the field. Results: Findings revealed a growing scholarly interest in applying neuroscience to education, especially in areas such as emotional and cognitive regulation, memory, and attention. Foundational studies from 2006 to 2012 remain influential, though the literature still lacks practical integration of neuroscientific findings into secondary-level teaching practices. Novelty: This study offers a structured overview of the educational neuroscience landscape with a unique focus on secondary education, highlighting the need for stronger interdisciplinary collaboration to bridge theory and practice and proposing that neuroscience-informed strategies can improve learning outcomes when aligned with classroom realities.

Abstract

This training activity was motivated by the high percentage of adolescent anemia cases in West Java, reaching 50 percent. This situation is mainly due to the lack of awareness among adolescents about consuming nutritionally balanced foods. This activity aims to provide adolescents with an understanding and awareness of the importance of eating a balanced diet. Adolescence is a period of rapid growth and development—physically, psychologically, and cognitively. Consuming nutritious food is a crucial factor in supporting this growth and development. However, adolescents today tend to consume more junk food than healthy meals, which can negatively affect their growth since most junk food is unhealthy when consumed in excess. Many illnesses, including anemia, can result from excessive junk food consumption. The lack of adolescent knowledge about anemia, balanced nutrition, and proper eating patterns can be addressed through education. Therefore, training on Preventing Anemia in Adolescents (Cegah Anemia Pada Remaja or CAP-R) was conducted for high school students with the goal of changing adolescent behavior to prevent anemia. The methods used in the training included lectures, quizzes, and cooking demonstrations. The lectures were delivered using PowerPoint, and the quizzes were conducted through the Quizizz platform. Based on the training activities, it was found that most female students had limited knowledge about anemia, balanced nutrition, and proper eating habits. After the educational session, students began to understand these topics better and were able to answer the quiz questions with fairly satisfying results.   Abstrak Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya persentase kejadian anemia remaja di Jawa Barat yang mencapai 50 persen, hal tersebut terjadi karena kurangnya kesadaran remaja dalam mengonsumsi makanan yang memiliki nilai gizi yang seimbang. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan kesadaran pada remaja untuk mengonsumsi makanan dengan gizi seimbang. Masa remaja merupakan masa pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang sangat pesat baik secara fisik, psikis, dan kognitif. Mengonsumsi makanan yang bergizi merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan remaja. Akan tetapi, kini remaja lebih banyak mengonsumsi junk food dibandingkan makanan yang sehat, yang di mana dapat memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap pertumbuhan mereka karena kebanyakan junk food tidak sehat jika dikonsumsi berlebihan. Banyak penyakit yang disebabkan oleh konsumsi junk food, salah satunya anemia pada remaja. Kurangnya pengetahuan remaja mengenai anemia, gizi seimbang dan pola makanan yang benar dapat dibentuk dengan pemberian edukasi. Oleh karena itu dilakukan pelatihan mengenai Cegah Anemia Pada Remaja (CAP-R) pada siswa SMA yang diharapkan dapat mengubah perilaku remaja dalam mencegah anemia. Metode yang digunakan saat melakukan pelatihan yaitu metode ceramah, kuis dan demo masak. Ceramah dilakukan dengan media PowerPoint dan kuis dilakukan dengan platform Quizizz. Berdasarkan kegiatan pelatihan yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa sebagian besar siswi belum mengenal lebih mendalam mengenai anemia, gizi seimbang dan pola makan yang benar. Setelah diberikan pematerian siswi mulai memahami mengenai anemia, gizi seimbang dan pola makan yang benar dan siswi dapat menjawab pertanyaan kuis yang diberikan dengan hasil yang cukup memuaskan. Abstract

Stunting is a condition where a child’s height is below the age-appropriate standards due to impaired growth caused by poor nutrition and health before and after birth. In Indonesia, stunting remains a significant public health challenge, with the national prevalence decreasing from 2010 to 2018. Factors contributing to stunting include inadequate maternal nutrition, lack of health knowledge, and poor socio-economic conditions. This study aimed to enhance awareness and knowledge of stunting prevention among Posyandu cadres in Bantargebang, Bekasi. The program included health education and cooking demonstrations through participatory methods to create nutritious, affordable meals. The intervention was conducted in collaboration with the “Si Penting” thematic community service program from the University of Education Indonesia. The results showed that Posyandu cadres were highly engaged and appreciated the practical education provided. It is expected that the skills and knowledge gained will enable them to educate families at risk of stunting better. Future programs should focus on continuing education and supporting stunting prevention efforts at the community level.   Abstrak Stunting adalah kondisi di mana tinggi badan seorang anak lebih pendek dari standar usia yang disebabkan oleh terhambatnya pertumbuhan akibat buruknya gizi dan kesehatan sebelum dan setelah kelahiran. Di Indonesia, stunting masih menjadi tantangan kesehatan masyarakat yang signifikan, dengan prevalensi nasional yang menurun dari tahun 2010 sampai 2018. Faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap stunting antara lain kurangnya gizi ibu hamil, rendahnya pengetahuan kesehatan, dan kondisi sosial-ekonomi yang buruk. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan kader posyandu di Bantargebang, Bekasi, terkait pencegahan stunting. Melalui metode partisipatif, program ini mencakup penyuluhan kesehatan dan demonstrasi memasak untuk menciptakan menu bergizi dan terjangkau. Intervensi ini dilakukan bekerja sama dengan program pengabdian masyarakat tematik “Si Penting” dari Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kader posyandu sangat terlibat dan menghargai edukasi praktis yang diberikan. Diharapkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan yang diperoleh dapat membantu mereka mendidik keluarga yang berisiko stunting. Program mendatang sebaiknya fokus pada pendidikan berkelanjutan dan memberikan dukungan untuk upaya pencegahan stunting di tingkat komunitas. Abstract

This study examines the development and trends in the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology applied to makeup style transfer through a bibliometric approach. Using publication data from the Scopus database covering the period from 2013 to 2025, a bibliometric analysis was conducted to map the growth of scientific literature in this field. The results reveal a significant increase in the number of publications, particularly in recent years, indicating a growing research interest. Key contributing authors, journals, and countries were successfully identified, with notable cross-institutional and cross-regional collaborations. The findings also highlight that deep learning methods—especially Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs)—have emerged as the dominant technology in makeup style transfer research, driving progress in the development of realistic and efficient virtual makeup applications. This study underscores the potential of AR as a major innovation in beauty education and practice, offering interactive and personalized learning experiences. Future research is recommended to focus on the development of more accurate and accessible AR technologies to support the ongoing advancement of the beauty industry.
