Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the development, feasibility, and determine the effectiveness of the AKM-oriented HOTS question formulation module in elementary science subjects and to determine student literacy achievements in answering AKM-oriented HOTS questions in elementary science subjects. This research is a development research using the ADDIE model. Analysis of teacher needs for the module, initial module design, module development, module implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through surveys, documentary analysis, teacher response interviews, and student literacy tests. The survey was conducted using a questionnaire to determine the teacher's needs for the HOTS question preparation module. The instruments used are expert validation instruments, question analysis instruments, and test instruments to determine student literacy achievements. The results of this study are the compilation of HOTS questions that are feasible to use as evidenced by the value of the material expert's reliability test results of 0.58, media experts 0.435, and linguists 0.696. The module is effective for improving the ability of teachers in preparing HOTS questions as evidenced by the T-Test score with a significance level of 0.04 (p < 0.05).

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD berorentasiDiscovery Learning berbantuan Mind Mapping untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir tingkat tinggi siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (R & D) model yang dipakai dalam pengembangan adalah ADDIE. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswakelas V SD Negeri 38 Kota Bengkulu. Data dikumpulkan melalui dokumen, wawancara, angket, dan tes. Uji yang dilakukan untuk pembakuan instrument penelitian adalah uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas sedangkan analisis butir soal di uji taraf kesukaran dan uji day abeda. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji t. pengolahan dan analisis data dilakukan terhadap skor prettest dan skor posttest. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar validasi, lembar angket respon siswa, dan lembar tes soal. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa hasil validasi materi, bahasa, dan penyajian serta respon siswa terhadap LKPD berorientasi Discovery Learning dengan berbantuan mind mapping layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berfikir tingkat tinggi siswa. Pada kelas ekspremen 1 rata-rata pretest adalah 60,23 meningkat menjadi 83,19. Berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest tersebut didapatkan gain score sebesar 0,59 yang berada pada katagori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada kelas control maupun ekspremen mengalami peningkatan setelah pembelajaran. LKPD berorientasi DL dengan berbantuan mind mapping yang dikembangkan dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berfikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik dikarenakan peran proses pembelajaran menggunakan model DL berbantuan mind mapping.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop, describe the level of feasibility, determine user responses and determine the effectiveness of digital teaching materials based on discovery learning with augmented reality to improve students' critical thinking skills. The type of research used is research and development. The research model in the development of teaching materials is the ADDIE model. The types of data used are quantitative and qualitative data using instruments in the form of interviews, needs analysis questionnaires, questions, expert validation sheets and user response questionnaires. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the teaching materials developed are suitable for use as teaching materials in the Natural Sciences (IPA) class V material for animal and human movement organs. Aspects that are validated include the feasibility of the material, language, and design. The percentage of material expert validation results is 71%. From the validation of linguists 83% and the validation of design experts 90%. The user's response is very good because the results of the questionnaire analysis of class V students' responses from students, aspects of continuity of content are 83%, aspects of design are 83% and aspects of material interest are 80%. The teaching materials developed are effective in improving the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students at SDN 107 Bengkulu Utara. This is based on the results of the effect size test of 93.33%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce booklet learning media, to determine user responses and to determine the effectiveness of booklet learning media with a scientific approach to animal life cycle material to improve student learning outcomes. The type of research used is the development (Research and Development). The research model in the development of learning media is the ADDIE model. The types of data used are qualitative and quantitative data using interview instruments, need analysis questionnaires, questions, expert validation and user response questionnaires. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning media used is appropriate to be used as a medium for learning natural sciences for class IV animal life cycle material. The results of the validation of material experts are 80%, the results of the validation of linguists are 80%, and the results of the validation of media experts are 70%. From the results of user responses to the booklet media, it is very good according to the results of student questionnaire analysis from aspects of attention 70%, aspects of interest 81%, aspects of confidence 76%, and aspects of satisfaction 62%. Based on the results of the t-test with tcount = 0.34 > ttable of 0.012, then Ho can be accepted. So it can be concluded that booklet media can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN 102 North Bengkulu.

Abstract

The study aims to develop Students’ Worksheets (LKPD) by using Problem Based Learning Method assisted Geogebra that is feasible, practical and interesting. In this study, researchers used the ADDIE development model with five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Only four stages are imposed on teachers and fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Pendopo. The result of the research is thestudents’ worksheets by using Problem Based Learning Method assisted Geogebra on the material of volume building which is valid based on expert judgment on three aspects of; feasibility. material feasibility with 0.88 validity, language feasibility with 0.88 validity, and media feasibility 0.77, students’ responses 0.92, and positive responses from the teachers. The result indicated that students’ worksheets by using Problem Based Learning Method assisted Geogebra is feasible and received a very positive response.

Abstract

The aims of study is to describe how to develop, the feasibility and student responses to the development of discovery learning-based LKPD integrated with Geogebra in Geometry grade IV elementary school. This research includes research and development (Research and Development). The model used is Borg and Gall, namely: (1) Data and Information collection, (2) Planning, (3) initial product development, (4) Initial Field Test, (5) Product Revision, (6) Main Field Test, (7) Product Revision (8) Operational Field Trial (9) Final Product Revision, (10) Dissemination and distribution. In this development research, the researcher limits from 10 steps to 5 steps. The subjects in this study were teachers and fourth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Pendopo. The result of this research isthe LKPD of Mathematics based on Discovery Learning assisted by Geogebra is valid based on expert judgment on three aspects of feasibility. Feasibility of material with validity 0.87, feasibility of language with validity 0.94, and feasibility of graphic 0.91. 99% student response, and 95% teacher response. These results indicate that the Geogebra-assisted Discovery Learning-based Mathematics LKPD is feasible and gets a very positive response from students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the cognitive appearance and quality of empirical questions about school exams. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The subject of this research is a matter of school exams for science subjects. The object of research is the description and quality of the items empirically. The research instrument was in the form of an analysis of the percentage level of knowledge and quality of items empirically. The research data were analyzed using proportions calculated by percentage and rater agreement as well as student scores tested for validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and discriminatory power. The results showed that: 1) The percentage of questions at Level 1 was 52.50%. At Level 2, 22.50% is less than the ideal standard of BSNP. At Level 3 of 25%, and 2) The quality of the items empirically, the results of the validity of 22 questions are valid and 18 questions are not valid, the results of the reliability test are 0.629, the difficulty level test is 5 easy questions (12.5%), 27 questions moderate (67.5%) and 8 difficult questions (20%,) the results of the discriminatory test were 25 bad questions (62.5%) and 15 questions were sufficient (37.5%). Thus, the quality of the science test items for grade VI students of SDN Pendopo, Empat Lawang Regency 2020/2021 is not good, judging from the comparison of the level of knowledge and quality empirically.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development, feasibility, and response of students to STEM-Based LKPD with Theme 8 Bumiku for Class VI in Science Subjects. The type of research is research and development by modifying the Sugiyono model adopting 6 steps, namely potential problems, planning information gathering, product design, design validation, product revision, product testing. Research data obtained through questionnaires, interview guidelines, validation sheets, and student responses. Aspects that are validated include the feasibility of the material, language, presentation and graphics. The results of the research and development show that: 1) STEM-based LKPD was developed through six stages of development, namely the potential problem stage, information gathering, planning, product design, design validation, product revision, limited trial; STEM-based worksheets meet the feasibility in the aspects of material, language, presentation, and graphics that are suitable for use in learning because on average each feasibility obtains valid results and the reliability is very strong; 3) The response of the STEM-based LKPD is very good because the relationship between science and mathematics content has been integrated quite well. Based on the results of research and development, it is concluded that STEM-based worksheets are very suitable for use in learning science content for grade VI elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the percentage of knowledge dimensions and cognitive levels on school exam questions for the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 Science subjects at SDN 04 Pendopo District. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The research subject is in the form of school exam questions for science subjects. The object of research is the percentage of knowledge dimensions and cognitive level of the questions. The research instrument was in the form of a sheet of knowledge dimension analysis and cognitive levels. The results show that: The highest percentage of knowledge dimensions on US IPA 2019/2020 questions are factual dimensions of 33 questions (82.50%), conceptual dimensions of 7 questions (17.50%), and procedural and metacognitive dimensions of 0% . The highest percentage of dimensions in the US IPA 2020/2021 questions is the factual dimension of 32 questions (80.00%), the conceptual dimension is 8 questions (20.00%) and the procedural and metacognitive dimensions are 0%. Percentage of cognitive level of US IPA 2019/2020 items for the highest cognitive level, namely applying (C3) as many as 16 questions (40%), understanding (C2) as many as 13 questions (32.50%), analyzing (C4) as many as 11 questions ( 27.50%), and remembering (C1), evaluating (C5), and creating (C6) did not appear. Percentage of cognitive level of US IPA items in 2020/2021 for the highest cognitive level, namely analyzing (C4) as many as 19 questions (47.50%), applying (C3) as many as 12 questions (30.00%), understanding (C2) as many as 8 questions (20.00%), evaluates (C5) as much as 1 question (2.50%). Thus, it can be concluded that the quality of the school exam questions for the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 school year subjects in SDN 04 Pendopo District is viewed from the dimensions of knowledge and cognitive level of the questions.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a STEAM-based LKPD. The type of research used is research and development (Research & Development) by modifying the Sugiyono model adopting 6 steps, namely potential problems, gathering planning information, product design, design validation, product revision, product testing. The research data were obtained through questionnaires, interview guidelines, validation sheets, and student response questionnaires. Aspects that are validated include the feasibility of the material, language, presentation and graphics. There are 6 validators (raters) involved in validating consisting of experts and practitioners. Data on student responses to LKPD were obtained from the responses of 15 grade VI students at SDN 9 Pendopo. Based on the results of research and development, it was concluded that the STEAM-based LKPD was very suitable for use in learning science content for class VI SDN 9 Pendopo students.
