Abstract

This study aims to describe the nature of science as a product and cognitive level of USBN in elementary science subjects. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The subject of the study was USBN questions for science subjects at the Empat Lawang Regency Elementary School. The object of this research is the proportion of the nature of science as a product and level of items. The research instrument is a document in the form of a sheet of the results of the analysis of the nature of science and cognitive level. The percentage of science as a product and cognitive level were analyzed and calculated according to the agreement of the raters. The results of the study show that: (1) The percentage of the nature of science as a product of the 2018/2019 USBN questions: facts 26 questions (65%), the concept opened by 14 questions (35%), and there are no questions on principle indicators, laws, and theory . The percentage of the nature of science as a product of the USBN Science Subject matter for 2019/2020: facts found 34 questions (85%), the concept opened with 6 questions (15%), and there were no questions for principle, law, and theory indicators. Percentage level of knowledge about 2018/2019: understanding (C2) 4 questions (10.00%), applying (C3) and analyzing (C4) have the same number of 14 questions (35.00%), (3) discovery (C5 ) 8 questions (20,000%); and (4) there is no question of remembering, remembering (C1) and creating (C6). Percentage of cognitive level about USBN Year 2019/2020: understanding (C2) 6 questions (15.00%), applying (C3) 16 (40.00%), analyzing (C4) 16 questions (40.00%), developing ( C5) 2 questions (5.00%); and (5) there are no questions included in the ranks of remembering (C1) and creating (C6). Thus, it can be said that the quality of the USBN questions for the science subjects of the Empat Lawang Elementary School in the 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 academic years is quite good from the percentage of science as a product and improvement

Abstract

This study aims to develop LKPD based on scientific literacy. The type of research used is research and development (R & D) modifying by the Sugiyono model adopting 6 steps, namely analysis, planning, design, validation, revision, and testing. The research data were obtained through questionnaires, interview guidelines, validation sheets, and student response questionnaires. The validated aspects include the feasibility of the material, language, presentation and graphics involving 6 validators consisting of experts and practitioners. Validation data were analyzed using the Aiken'V formula and reliability. Data on student responses to LKPD were obtained from the responses of 15 students in class VI. The data is in the form of 'yes' 'no' data which is analyzed by Guttman's theory. Based on the results of research and development, it is concluded that scientific literacy-based worksheets are very suitable to be used in learning Tema 9 Menjelajah Angkasa Luar for class VI SDN 6 Ulu Musi, Kabupaten Empat Lawang.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan dan kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran momentum dan impuls berbasis peta konsep dan berpola model pembelajaran generatif yang terdiri dari RPP, Tes Awal, Materi Ajar, LDS, dan Tes Akhir. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan model 3-D. Adapun tahapan pengembangan yaitu, (a) Tahap Define, kurikulum yang digunakan SMAN 6 Kota Bengkulu yakni kurikulum 2013 dengan menggunakan acuan permendikbud nomor 24 tahun 2016 tentang standar isi; (b) Tahap Design, merancang perangkat pembelajaran yang siap divalidasi; dan (c) Tahap Develop, pada tahap ini memperoleh data penelitian mengenai kelayakan perangkat yang dikembangkan. Kelayakan hasil pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran momentum dan impuls berbasis peta konsep dan berpola model pembelajaran generatif dikategorikan “Sangat Valid” (³ 0,80) dan layak digunakan untuk di ujicobakan. Kata Kunci: peta konsep, pembelajaran generatif, momentum dan impuls ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the process development and feasibility of momentum and impulse learning tools based concept maps and patterned generative learning models consisting of RPP, preliminary test, learning materials, LDS and final test. This research was a research and development (R&D) with a 3-D model. The stages of development were, (a) Define phase, the curriculum used by SMAN 6 Bengkulu City namely the 2013 curriculum using the Permendikbud number 24 of 2016 concerning content standards; (b) Design stage, designing learning tools that are ready to be validated; and (c) The development phase, at this stage obtained research data on the appropriateness of the developed device. The feasibility of the results of the development of momentum and impulse learning tools based on concept maps dan patterned generative learning models was categorized as “ Very Valid “ (³ 0,80) and worthy of being used for testing. Keywords: Concept Map, Generative Learning Model, Momentum and Impulses

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk (a) mengidentifikasi tipe gaya belajar yang dominan dari 123 siswa-siswa  kelas X SMA Negeri Kota Bengkulu ditinjau dari jenis kelamin, dan (b) menentukan kecenderungan tipe gaya belajar siswa-siswa SMA Negeri Bengkulu ditinjau dari gaya belajar KOLB. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan subjek penelitian menggunakan teknik convenient sampling. Instrumen utama untuk memperoleh data penelitian adalah (a) angket gaya belajar KOLB yang telah diterjemahkan ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia, dan (b) observasi kelas untuk mendukung data angket. Hasil analisis data angket gaya belajar menyatakan bahwa 123 siswa kelas X terdiri dari (a) 47 (38%) siswa dengan gaya belajar assimilator, (b) 26 (21%) siswa dengan gaya belajar converger, (c) 31 (25%) siswa dengan gaya diverger, dan (d) 19 (16%) siswa dengan gaya belajar accomodator. Gaya belajar siswa laki-laki dominan pada tipe diverger tetapi gaya belajar siswi perempuan lebih dominan pada tipe assimilator. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah guru perlu untuk mengetahui tipe gaya belajar yang dominan dari peserta didik sehingga kegiatan pembelajaran dan penggunaan media pembelajaran disesuaikan dengan tipe gaya belajar dari siswa-siswanya.   Kata kunci : Gaya belajar Kolb, jenis kelamin, Siswa kelas X   ABSTRACT   The aims of this study are to (a) identify the dominant type of learning style of 123 class X students of Public High School in Bengkulu City in terms of gender, and (b) determine the preference of the learning style during physics learning in classroom. The method used in this study was descriptive quantitative and the subjects were obtained by the convenience sampling technique; the main instrument to get the data for this study was the Indonesian version of Kolb Learning Style Inventory and the classroom observation to support the KLSI data. The results of data analyses reveal that (a) the dominant learning style of male students were diverger type but the assimilator type for the female students, (b) the preferred learning style are 38% students with the assimilator learning styles; 21% students with the convergent learning styles, 25%) students with the divergent style, and 16% students with the accommodator learning style. The implication of the findings of this study is that teachers need to know the preferred learning style of their students so that learning activities and the use of learning media are adapted to the type of student’s learning style.   Keywords: david kolb's learning style, descriptive reasearch

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persentase kesesuaian materi dalam buku pelajaran fisika kelas x dengan kategori literasi sains sebagai batang tubuh pengetahuan, penyelidikan, cara berpikir, dan interaksi sains, teknologi dengan masyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu analisis isi (content analysis) dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian pada buku fisika kelas X (Erlangga) menyajikan kategori literasi sains sebagai batang tubuh pengetahuan (46%); sains sebagai penyelidikan (14%); sains sebagai cara berpikir (25%); dan interaksi sains, teknologi dengan masyarakat (5%). Untuk buku buku fisika kelas X (Yudhistira) menyajikan kategori literasi sains sebagai batang tubuh pengetahuan (50%); sains sebagai penyelidikan (14%); sains sebagai cara berpikir (24%); dan interaksi sains, teknologi dengan masyarakat (12%). Dari data tersebut, kedua buku fisika kelas X yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran lebih menekankan pada kategori sains sebagai batang tubuh pengetahuan.   Kata kunci: Analisis, Literasi sains, Buku Ajar   ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the percentage of material alignment in 10th-grade physics textbooks with the category of science literacy as a body of knowledge, research, ways of thinking, and interaction of science and technology with society. The objects of this study are 10th-grade physics textbooks. The population in this study is all material in textbooks were analyzed. The data collection technique is content analysis. Data analysis techniques are by quantitative descriptive methods. The use of multistage sampling provided sampling by using two stages. The first stage is the selection of chapters of each book analyzed, and the second stage is the selection of pages of each chapter analyzed. The findings from (1) the Erlangga book present the category of science literacy as(a) the body of knowledge (46%); an investigation (14%); the way of thinking (25%); and (15%) the interaction of science, technology with society, and (2) the Yudhistira book presents the category of science literacy as (a) the body of knowledge (50%), (b) an investigation (14%); (c) a way of thinking (24%); and (d) the interaction of science, technology with society (12%).
