Abstract

The present study explores the role of problem-solving learning models integrated with Mentimeter media in empowering higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) and creativity in social sciences learning at the elementary school level. A quasi-experimental, non-equivalent control-group design was used, involving two classes purposively selected. A total of 70 students were enrolled, 34 in the experimental class and 36 in the control class. Data were collected using essay tests that measured students' HOTS and creativity, then analysed using MANOVA after meeting the assumptions of normality and homogeneity. The results yielded a significant difference between the experimental class, taught using the problem-solving model with Mentimeter integration, and the control class, taught using the conventional teaching model, both in HOTS (p < 0.001) and in creativity (p < 0.001). These findings confirm the importance of combining problem-solving pedagogy with interactive technology tools in empowering elementary school students' cognitive and creative skills in social sciences learning.

Abstract

This reseach form is survey reseach which is done to see the teacherV¶ ability in understanding punctuation.Tecniques in getting data is that 30 valid questions are given to the teachers. The samples in this reseach are 81 teachers in Tampan district with the level of precision 10%. the teachers¶V ability in Tampan district were analyzedbased on category. Among 81 teachers 1 teacher (1,23%) gotthe best category, 31 teachers (38,27%) gotgood, 38teachers (46,91) gotfair category , and 11 teachers (13,58) gets less category. Those results were got from the test that was given to the primary school teachers in Tampan district. The average score is 63,5 with fair category.This shows that primary school teachers did not pass based on classical completeness 39,50% then

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru sekolah dasar dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran abad ke-21 melalui gamifikasi dan augmented reality. Pelatihan dilaksanakan di UPT SD Negeri 019 Pandau Jaya dengan fokus pada penggunaan Sketchfab sebagai media eksplorasi objek tiga dimensi berbasis augmented reality dan Kahoot sebagai sarana pembelajaran berbasis permainan. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan observasi partisipatif dan wawancara. Setiap guru berpartisipasi aktif dalam sesi demonstrasi dan praktik langsung, termasuk pembuatan konten interaktif serta permainan edukatif di kelas. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterlibatan dan antusiasme guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam pembelajaran. Guru mampu menerapkan Sketchfab dan Kahoot secara mandiri serta memahami relevansinya terhadap pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan kontekstual bagi siswa. Kegiatan ini juga menumbuhkan kesadaran pentingnya inovasi pedagogis berbasis digital sebagai bagian dari profesionalisme guru abad ke-21. Pelatihan ini direkomendasikan untuk dikembangkan secara berkelanjutan melalui pendampingan lanjutan dan pembentukan komunitas guru inovatif.
