Abstract

Anxiety in pregnant women can arise, especially in the third trimester of pregnancy until delivery, where during this period pregnant women feel anxious about various things such as anxiety about the baby's birth process and the pain they feel. Covid-19 causes pregnant women to be very anxious about their pregnancy and also with the rules for preparing for childbirth. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using leaflet media on the level of anxiety in third-trimester pregnant women during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Andalas Health Center, Padang City.  The type of research used is quasi-experimental with a control group pretest-posttest design. In this research design, the experimental group received education using leaflet media, while the control group was given conventional-based education (without using media). The results of The p-value is 0.000, so it can be concluded that there is a difference in anxiety before and after being given health education. The provision of health education interventions about childbirth can reduce anxiety scores in third-trimester pregnant women.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women with a mortality rate of 6.8% (WHO, 2015; Globocan, 2012). The incidence of cervical cancer ranks second after breast cancer in Southeast Asia and Indonesia. Based on data from the Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Health 2015, cervical cancer is the cancer with the highest prevalence of 0.8 per 1000 population (Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia, 2015). The high prevalence of cancer in Indonesia requires prevention and early detection by health service providers. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the inspection of Acetic Acid Visual Inspection (IVA) in Padang City.This type of research is quantitative with cross sectional design. The study was conducted at the Padang City Health Center in April-November 2019. The population was all women aged 30-50 years who were at the Padang City Health Center, amounting to 10,670 people, with a sample of 73 people taken by consecutive sampling technique. Data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by univariate and bivariate analysis.More than half (64.4%) of women of childbearing age (WUS) have never had an IVA examination, more than half (58.9%) of women have a risk age, less than half (39.7%) women have low levels of education , more than half (60.3%) WUS with working status, there was no relationship between the age of WUS with IVA examination (p value = 0.182), there was a relationship between WUS education level and IVA examination (p value = 0.031), there was no relationship between the status of WUS work and IVA examination (p value = 0.404). It is expected that officials and leaders of puskesmas will develop more attractive ways to be able to convince and increase awareness and concern of the WUS themselves in conducting IVA examinations.

Abstract

Children under five years of age when the increase in body structure and function becomes more complex and the ability to move fine, fine motion, language, and independence. The number of children under five who do not develop according to their age is triggered by parental care, where this care aims to meet the basic needs of toddlers so that they can grow and develop more optimally. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parenting and the development of children aged 1-5 years in the working area of Puskesmas Rawang, Padang City. This research uses quantitative design with a cross section. This research was conducted in the working area of Puskesmas Rawang, Padang City. Data collection was carried out in March 2020. The sample of this study is mothers who have children aged 1-5 years who are in the working area of Puskesmas Rawang, Padang City, amounting to 79 people. The technique used in this study is proportional random sampling, for data collection using a questionnaire. The results of this study obtained 79 respondents consisting of mothers and toddlers with an average age of 12-24 months. Descriptively democratic parenting has a proportion of under five development in accordance with the highest value, namely 95.6% while authoritarian is 11.5%. Democratic parenting style affects the optimal development of toddlers.

Abstract

Introduction: Gas station operators are a group of workers who are at risk of exposure to lead, also known as the heavy metal lead, which can poison the human body in the long term. Objective: This study aims to determine the description of lead levels in the blood of gas station operator officers in Padang City. Methods: This type of research is descriptive with a cross sectional approach, with 20 subjects as gas station operators in Padang City and using a sampling technique, namely consecutive sampling. The research began by providing informed consent and a questionnaire. Next, the lead levels in the respondent's urine were checked using an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. Result: A total of 20 respondents from gas station operators in Padang City, who were willing and met the requirements for sample inclusion criteria, which had been determined by the researcher. (MBIE, 2013). The data obtained is presented in descriptive and tabular form. Conclusion: Lead levels in urine Female officer operating a fuel oil well pump (SPBU) in Padang City has not exceeded the set safe limit

Abstract

Healthy pregnancy _ need preparation physical and psychological for a person woman. Stage this is the most vulnerable period for happening various that problem will influence the condition baby to be born later. this _ could occur because a woman not enough understand the importance of preparation self on period pre conception consequence lack of knowledge possessed . _ Aim from study this is for look influence counseling health developed media _ about health reproduction to knowledge and attitude of catin woman in preparation pre -marriage in the working area of the KUA District Koto Tangah City of Padang on year 2022. Kind study this is Pre Experiment with design One Group Pretest-Posttest . Collection data done on month October – November 2022. Population in study this is whole paint woman who will married in the KUA . Amount sample study this is as many as 40 subjects . Taking sample done with technique Purposive Sampling . Data processing is done with the Paired Sample T- Test (p<0.05) . Research results show that there is difference score average knowledge and attitude paint woman before given counseling health reproduction that is 71.95 and after given counseling health reproduction score to 81.05. Analysis results paired Samples T-Test obtained mark p.s value (p=0.001). There is influence gift counseling health reproduction to knowledge and attitude paint woman . There is influence counseling health reproduction to knowledge and attitude paint woman in preparation pre -marital marriage in the working area of the KUA , Koto Tangah District , Padang City. Expected with study this , government local could do cooperation with party related for make special program in KUA about preparation pregnancy.
