Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk untuk memberikan pelatihan 21st century skill melalui pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling secara terprogram bagi anak-anak kurang beruntung agar mampu mencegah masuknya pengaruh negatif lingkungan urban bagi mereka. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Rumah Singgah milik Yayasan Anak Bangsa Mandiri Banua. Kegiatan ini mempunyai 11 metode terprogram yang dilaksanakan berkesinambungan selama 6 bulan. Tujuh dari sebelas program konseling komunitas telah dilaksanakan secara tatap muka, yaitu: (1) koordinasi program dengan pengelola komunitas; (2) asesmen dan orientasi program; (3) bimbingan klasikal teknik kuis dan teka-teki; (4) pelatihan keterampilan bahasa asing dasar; (5) bimbingan klasikal tema ‘leadership’ dengan Teknik storytelling dan symbolic modeling; (6) bimbingan kelompok tema ‘problem solving’ dengan metode permainan eduaktif; dan (7) konseling kelompok art therapy. Sedangkan 4 sisanya dilaksanakan secara daring karena adanya pemberlakuan aturan social-distancing akibat Pandemi Covid-19, yaitu: (1) bimbingan karier tema cita-cita dan masa depan; (2) konseling individual; (3) gerakan sadar literasi; dan (4) asesmen akhir. Hasil asesmen pada sebelum dan sesudah program menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kecil 21st century skills anak (+7,8 poin). Direkomendasikan agar kegiatan ini dapat terus diterapkan guna memperoleh efek yang lebih baik dalam peningkatan 21st century skills pada anak. Community service activities aim to provide 21st-century skills training through programmatic guidance and counselling services for disadvantaged children to be able to prevent the entry of negative influences on the urban environment for them. The activity held at the Rumah Singgah owned by the Yayasan Anak Bangsa Mandiri Banua. This activity has 11 programmed methods that are carried out continuously for six months. Seven of the eleven community counselling programs have been carried out face-to-face: (1) program coordination with community managers; (2) assessment and orientation of the program; (3) classical guidance on quiz and puzzle techniques; (4) basic foreign language skills training; (5) classical guidance on the theme 'leadership' with storytelling and symbolic modelling techniques; (6) theme group guidance ‘problem solving’ with educational methods; and (7) art therapy group counselling. While the remaining four are carried out online because of the enactment of social-distancing rules due to the Covid-19 Pandemic: (1) career guidance on the themes of ideals and future; (2) individual counselling; (3) literacy conscious movements; and (4) final assessment. The results of the assessment before and after the program showed a small increase in 21st-century children's skills (+7,8 points score). It is recommended that this activity can continue to be applied to obtain a better effect in improving 21st-century skills in children.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study which aims to describe the smoking behavior of early adolescents (10-14) with the level of achievement motivation of Students SMPN XX in Banjarmasin. The research subjects were Guidance and Counseling Teachers at SMPN XX in Banjarmasin, The students of SMPN XX in Banjarmasin and Home room teacher of SMPN XX in Banjarmasin. Data was collected using interview, observation and documentation methods after the data was obtained and then analyzed descriptively qualitatively and also matched the answers of each informant from the results of interviews with informants then the data was validated using triangulation techniques. The target of this study is expected to be able to do community service, especially early adolescents (10-14) so that they understand that smoking not only affects physical health but also affects brain performance, which can cause decreased thinking power so that motivation for achievement also decreases.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui bagaimana efektivitas biimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrrama untuk meningkatkan empaty siswa  di SMP Negeri 4 Alalak Barito Kuala. Penelitian ini menggunakan pre-eksperimental design yaitu One-group Pretest-Posttest). Subjek penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 8 siswa dimana pada masing-masing siswa memiliki tingkat empaty yang rendah. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Sampel 8 responden dari 30 populasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala empaty dan hasil observasi. Data diolah dengan menggunakan hitungan statistik deskriptif, dan uji wilcoxon dengan aplikasi IBM SPSS Statistik versi 25. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka akan dibahas data tentang gambaran empati siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 4 Alalak Barito Kuala mengalami peningkatan Hasil pretest menunjukan 8 siswa berada dalam kategori rendah sehingga perlu mendapatkan perlakuan  lebih lanjut. Peneliti menggunakan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama untuk memberikan treatment, ternyata terjadi perubahan dari peserta didik yang memiliki empati rendah ternyata setelah mengikuti kegiataan tersebut terjadi peningkatan. Hal tersebut dilihat dari hasil posttest dari perhitungan 8 sampel pada siswa kelas VIII menunjukan hasil pretest skala empati dengan nilai 380 : 8 = 47,5 setelah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama untuk meningkatkan empati siswa mengalami  peningkatan dengan angka 567 : 8 = 70.8 dengan rincian peningkatan 6 siswa dengan persentase 63% berada dalam kategori sangat tinggi, 2 siswa dengan persentase 21% berada dalam kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Memorizing the Qur’an is a process to maintain, protect, and preserve its purity. It is considered a noble task and responsibility that requires consistency, patience, and proper guidance. While everyone has the potential to memorize the Qur’an, not all individuals are able to do it effectively. Various factors influence the success of memorization, including the use of suitable methods. One of the effective approaches is the Talaqqi method, which emphasizes direct learning and repetition under the guidance of a teacher. This study aims to examine the application of the Talaqqi method among students at SMKS Budi Agung Marelan in their efforts to memorize the Qur’an. The research employed a qualitative field research design using interviews, observation, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that the implementation of the Talaqqi method consists of three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Furthermore, several supporting factors were identified, such as teacher guidance, students’ intrinsic motivation, and a supportive learning environment, all of which significantly contribute to successful Qur’an memorization.

Abstract

Adolescent girls living in orphanages face more complex psychosocial challenges compared to their peers in general. Experiences of loss, limited family support, and uncertainty about the future often lead to heightened anxiety. One effective psychological intervention to manage anxiety is mindful breathing training, or conscious breathing exercises. This community service activity aimed to provide mindful breathing training for adolescent girls at the Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah Orphanage in Banjarmasin as an effort to reduce anxiety and enhance inner calmness. The implementation method employed educational, participatory, and practical approaches, consisting of four stages: preparation, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. The results of the activity showed that participants gained a good understanding of the concepts of anxiety and mindfulness, and were able to correctly practice the mindful breathing technique. Based on the evaluation results, more than 80% of participants stated that the training was engaging, clear, and beneficial in helping them manage anxiety. Therefore, mindful breathing training proved to be an effective, simple, and applicable strategy for reducing anxiety levels among adolescents in the orphanage.
