Abstract

Implementasi ajaran agama Hindu tidak dapat dipisahkan dari Tri Kerangka Dasar Agama Hindu itu sendiri. Tiga kerangka dasar tersebut terdiri dari tattwa, susila, dan ācarā. Tattwa merupakan inti dari ajaran agama Hindu, filsafat dalam agama Hindu yang memberi arti dan makna dalam setiap aktivitas keagamaan yang dilaksanakan. Susila merupakan seperangkat aturan yang menjadi dasar pelaksanaan aktivitas keagamaan dalam agama Hindu sedangkan ācarā merupakan serangkaian aktivitas keagamaan dalam agama Hindu sebagai bentuk implementasi dari tattwa dan susila. Ācarā sendiri tidak dapat dilepaskan dari upakara sebagai sarana untuk mendekatkan diri kepada Hyang Widhi Wasa. Upakara yang telah dipersembahkan disebut dengan prasādam. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, tulisan ini mengkaji mengenai upakara dan prasādam dilihat dari segi tattwa, susila, dan ācarā. Adapun hasil kajian mengenai upakara dan prasādam dari sudut pandang Tri Kerangka Dasar Agama Hindu adalah apabila dikaji dari segi tattwa-nya, upakara dan prasādam merupakan suatu persembahan suci yang menurut Lontar Yajña Praketi memiliki nilai filosofis sebagai perwujudan dari alam semesta beserta isinya, lambang dari kemahakuasaan Tuhan, serta lambang dari pengorbanan diri manusia. Susila dari upakara sudah tampak dari bagaimana umat Hindu diajarkan untuk menjaga etika selama pembuatannya, dalam mempersembahkan hingga menikmati prasādam sebagai bentuk rasa syukur atas segala karunia Hyang Widhi Wasa, yang ternyata juga berguna bagi kesehatan manusia. Untuk ācarā-nya sendiri, upakara dan prasādam merupakan salah satu sarana yang melengkapi dan menyemarakkan suatu kegiatan keagamaan

Abstract

This study aims to increase student activity and learning outcomes through the use of the use of the Problem Based Learning Model assisted by Sulang-Maya cards in class VII A students of SMP Negeri 1 Bangli in the 2018/2019 learning year in the subject of Hindu Religious Education. Sulang-Maya card is an acronym for rearranging the card-based yadnya learning material which contains pictures of the implementation of the yadyna ceremony. The steps for using the Sulang-Maya card are as follows: a) the teacher provides an overview of yadnya learning material in the form of attractive illustrations and pictures, b) the teacher presents the yadnya learning material in the form of card pieces and distributes pictures of the various yadnya implementation to students, c) students in groups actively pair the pictures of the yadnya ceremony which are distributed according to the parts of the Panca Yadnya, d) the teacher intensively provides explanations to students so that students are active in doing assignments, e) students and their group members actively explain the results of their group work in front of the class, and f) the teacher reflects on the results of learning activities. Data collection techniques in this study were tests and observations, and the data from the research results were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that through the use of the Problem Based Learning Model assisted by Sulang-Maya cards in class VII A students of SMP Negeri 1 Bangli in the 2018/2019 learning year, it could increase activity and learning outcomes in Hindu Religious Education subjects.

Abstract

Being born as a human is a virtue in Hinduism, because among all living things only humans are gifted with the ability to think and distinguish good and bad deeds, and can help themselves from repeated births and deaths towards the ultimate goal of Hinduism. itself namely "Moksartham Jagadhita ya ca iti dharma". Because the primacy of birth as a human being, of course this opportunity must be very grateful and utilized as well as possible. One way that humans can do as a form of gratitude to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa for birth as a human being is to maintain the healthy body. With a healthy and well-maintained body, surely a person will be able to work at maximum capacity Eating is not an activity to put food into the mouth carelessly and not measured. Eating in question is how a person is able to maintain the intake of food that enters his body properly and correctly so that what is eaten can function optimally for the health of the body. Judging from the science of nutrition, of course this will be associated with intake of carbohydrates, proteins, minerals, fats and others that enter the body. But when viewed from the teachings of Hinduism, regulating food patterns and intake of food that enters the body is also contained in Hindu religious literature, one of which is contained in the Bhagavad-gītā scriptures. And after further study, it can also be understood that what is eaten will ultimately affect one's mindset and character. By using descriptive methods, this paper will examine good food for body health (sattvika food) and its effect on someone's character.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 saat ini telah mengubah cara dan gaya hidup manusia yang dapat mempengaruhi tingkat kesehatan. Penyebaran pandemi ini tidak lepas dari dampak negatif yang ditimbulkannya, terutama terhadap kesehatan mental. Dampaknya berupa perubahan psikologis yang dipicu oleh ketakutan, depresi, kecemasan dan perasaan tidak aman. Untuk mengendalikan dampak negatif dari pandemi Covid-19, masyarakat memang perlu membiasakan diri dengan keadaan. Dengan mengalihkan pikiran ke hal-hal positif untuk menghasilkan energi positif dalam diri dan orang-orang di sekitar. Selain itu, ada teknik yang bisa memberikan suasana nyaman dan berdampak positif bagi semua orang di masa pandemi ini, yaitu berlatih Yoga Asana. Yoga adalah bentuk latihan pengendalian pikiran, latihan pernapasan, dan latihan tubuh untuk meningkatkan kesehatan fisik dan spiritual praktisi. Dari sekian teknik dalam yoga, yang paling banyak dipraktikkan saat ini adalah Hatha Yoga yang menggunakan teknik pranayama (pengendalian napas), asana (latihan tubuh/postur), bandha (penguncian), mudra (gerakan), relaksasi, dan teknik meditasi. Melalui penerapan yoga dapat menurunkan tingkat stres, kecemasan, dan memulihkan kesehatan. Latihan yoga asana bermanfaat untuk mental seseorang, seperti ketenangan mental, dimana yoga memiliki teknik meditasi yang berguna untuk membantu menenangkan pikiran. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengurangi tingkat kecemasan, stres, dan depresi. Setiap orang dapat melakukan serangkaian latihan yoga asana yang meliputi pranayama (pengaturan pernapasan), asana (latihan tubuh), meditasi (konsentrasi pikiran), dan relaksasi atau penenangan, terutama dalam menghadapi pandemi Covid-19 yang membatasi ruang gerak, aktivitas dan komunikasi setiap orang.

Abstract

Humans are God's creations given the ability more than other creatures, humans also live always side by side with good and bad. Therefore humans in living their lives need an awareness of the importance of applying religious teachings in order to minimize all things that are bad, because it will be futile to be born a human being if it does not improve. Very difficult as a human being and very short, so humans must use their lives with good karma for the creation of a peaceful and prosperous life. In his speech, Jatiswara explained that a father gives advice or advice to his children to always be obedient and act well according to the instructions explicitly and implicit in religious literature, also explained about the good man who always prioritizes the dharma in carrying out his life (the Parajnyan) and humans with poor qualities that make adharma as a guide to live their lives (the Pretanjana). This speech explains the various concepts of religious teachings that are very important, one of them is the teachings of karma phala, dharma and religion. Also explained in Tutur Jatiswara about the impact of dharma teachings that do not distinguish humans from social and economic aspects. The method used in this study is a descriptive method that will systematically describe the concepts of good (dharma) and bad (adharma) or the Parajnyan and the Pretanjana in Tutur Jatiswara.

Abstract

One of the parts that can be the hallmark of a temple is the carved ornaments. Ornaments in sacred buildings, especially temples, of course contain very deep philosophical values. In general, ornaments at temples, especially Dalem Temple, are related to wayang reliefs, reliefs that tell about the final journey of humans and so on. This is different from the ornaments found in Pura Dalem Segara Madhu. the uniqueness of Pura Dalem Segara Madhu Jagaraga Village can be seen in the reliefs located on the walls of the temple's penyengker. The relief depicts the history of Balinese people against Dutch colonialism. There are also reliefs depicting ships being attacked by sea monsters, people driving cars and so on. The uniqueness of the ornaments owned by Pura Dalem Segara Madhu Jagaraga Village is an interesting thing to study regarding the philosophical values contained therein. In general, this study aims to understand the value of Hindu philosophy in ornaments at Pura Dalem Segara Madhu, Jagaraga Village, Sawan District, Buleleng Regency. This type of research is qualitative using descriptive qualitative methods and data collection techniques using observation, interviews, literature and documentation. The results of the study regarding this matter are that all the reliefs contained in Pura Dalem Segara Madhu Jagaraga have a connection with one another regarding the struggles of the Jagaraga Village community. This reaffirms that this temple is not only related to the spiritual life of the people, but also related to the history of the people's struggle which is the spirit of social life.

Abstract

Hindu philosophy is one of the study programs of STAH Negeri Mpu Kuturan Singaraja which contributes to studying various philosophical thoughts both in general and about Hindu philosophy, as well as studying various religious phenomena. This is important to do so that people, especially Hindus, understand the philosophical or tattva values ​​of all religious activities carried out. To examine these matters, especially for students, of course, learning media are needed that can make it easier for students to understand certain concepts, especially those that are abstract. One of the courses that require concrete learning media is the Hindu Aesthetics subject. The choice of learning media that can be used in this course is the ornamens found in Dalem Segara Madhu Temple, Jagaraga Village, Sawan District, Buleleng Regency. This is due to the uniqueness of the carvings found on the paduraksa in this temple. By using a qualitative descriptive method, this paper examines the contribution of the ornamens in Dalem Segara Madhu Temple to the Hindu aesthetics subject at the Hindu Philosophy study program. The results of the study are that the ornamens found in Dalem Segara Madhu Temple can be included in learning about the concept of creating art in society. Thus, students can understand the theory of Hindu aesthetics and explain the relationship between aesthetic values ​​and philosophical values ​​contained in these ornamens.

Abstract

Abstrak Tradisi Nawur Pelebuh dilaksanakan khusus bagi Krama Tri Datu sehingga masih banyak masyarakat yang belum memahami terkait pelaksanaan serta makna filosofis dari tradisi Nawur Pelebuh. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, terdapat tiga permasalahan yang akan dibahas antara lain: (1) Apa landasan tradisi Nawur Pelebuh bagi Krama Tri Datu di Desa Adat Buleleng Kecamatan Buleleng Kabupaten Buleleng, (2) Bagaimana bentuk pelaksanaan tradisi Nawur Pelebuh bagi Krama Tri Datu di Desa Adat Buleleng Kecamatan Buleleng Kabupaten Buleleng, (3) Apa makna filosofis tradisi Nawur Pelebuh bagi Krama Tri Datu di Desa Adat Buleleng Kecamatan Buleleng Kabupaten Buleleng? Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah: metode observasi, metode wawancara, dan metode kepustakaan. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan langkah-langkah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penyimpulan data. Hasil penelitian dan analisis data menunjukan: (1) Dasar pelaksanaan tradisi Nawur Pelebuh dapat dilihat dari segi landasan historis, landasan religius, dan landasan sosial kemasyarakatan. (2) Bentuk tradisi Nawur Pelebuh terdiri dari waktu dan tempat pelaksanaan tradisi, sarana tradisi, tahapan awal, tahapan inti, serta tahapan akhir. (3) Makna filosofis yang terkandung dalam tradisi Nawur Pelebuh ini yaitu makna keharmonisan, makna kebersamaan, makna etika, dan makna pelestarian budaya. Abstract

Hinduism is a religion that also teaches worship of God and its manifestations by using a form or symbol whose existence is purified. A holy place is a place for Hindus to carry out daily worship or on certain days. There are 2 (two) Sanggah Kamulan Dadap Sakti in Les Village. Namely the Sanggah Kamulan Dadap Sakti Surya and the Sanggah Kamulan Dadap Sakti Taksu. Sanggah Kamulan Surya is a place to worship Bhatara Hyang Guru. Community belief in Les Village in worshiping Sanggah Kamulan Dadap Sakti has the belief that what is worshiped in Sanggah Kamulan Dadap Sakti is Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa/God and its manifestations, Tri Purusa, Purusa-Pradana, Bapanta-Ibunta, and Atmanta. Between the two Sanggah Kamulan Dadap Sakti a stone is placed, or there is also someone who places a stone under the Sanggah Kamulan Dadap Sakti which is called Ratu Gede Dasar. This study uses symbol theory, religious theory, and meaning theory. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. This study examines the form of the Sanggah Kamulan Dadap Sakti, the function of the Sanggah Kamulan Dadap Sakti and the Meaning of the Sanggah Kamulan Dadap Sakti. The results of this study include; (1) the form of Sanggah Kamulan Dadap Sakti, namely Sanggah Kamulan Dadap Sakti in Les Village has a height of 1 m, a length of 1.5 m, and a width of 1 m. (2) The functions of Sanggah Kamulan Dadap Sakti in Les Village consist of: religious function, educational function, togetherness function, ethical function, aesthetic function, function of preserving Hindu religion, function of giving a sense of closeness, and function of providing a sense of security. (3) The meaning of Sanggah Kamulan Dadap Sakti in Les Village consists of: The meaning of Hindu religious education, the meaning of purification, and the meaning of harmony.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan mengetahui dan memahami lebih dalam terkait aspek-aspek teknik hatha yoga yang terkandung dalam Tari Taruna Jaya di Sanggar Tari Teja Manik Desa Tejakula. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengetahui aspek-aspek teknik hatha yoga yang terkandung dalam Tari Taruna Jaya di Sanggar Tari Teja Manik Desa Tejakula pada artikel ini adalah menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Praktik Tari Taruna Jaya memiliki banyak korelasi dengan teknik hatha yoga, seperti contohnya agem merupakan implementasi asana, ngunda bayu merupakan implementasi dari pranayama dan tetuek tetekes merupakan implementasi bandha. Pembahasan mengenai aspek teknik hatha yoga yang terkandung dalam Tari Taruna Jaya menunjukan bahwa : 1) Bentuk teknik hatha yoga pada Tari Taruna Jaya terlihat pada bentuk asana yang terdiri atas pose level bawah dan gerak yang bersumber dari alam, bentuk pranayama yang terdiri atas pola pernapasan arah vertikal dan pola pernapasan gerak perpindahan, bentuk bandha terdiri atas mahabandha dan kuncian khusus; 2) Fungsi teknik hatha yoga pada Tari Taruna Jaya meliputi fungsi kesehatan fisik, fungsi pengendalian diri, fungsi etika sosial, fungsi pembangkitan energi spiritual, fungsi konsep penyatuan dan fungsi konsep keseimbangan; 3) Implementasi teknik hatha yoga pada Tari Taruna Jaya berkaitan dengan tempo musik, karakter dan kondisi fisik sehingga menjadikan pembabakan tari sebagai acuan praktiknya. Papeson, pangawak, pangecet dan pakaad merupakan bagian dari pembabakan Tari Taruna Jaya yang terdapat teknik dalam penerapannya.
