Abstract

Abstract: Nowadays business E-commerce has growing rapidly in Indonesia, and through the development of technology there is a concept as a new paradigm which is online shopping, and online shopping become the place that people can visit anytime to buy a product, and there are many factors that stimulated people to do impulsive buying. Nowadays the consumer buying behaviour which is impulse buying has becoming such a part of every person’s lifestyle that they do not realize or they are not even aware that they are doing it at times. This study aims to analyze the factors that stimulated people to do impulsive buying. This research uses Qualitative Method with In-depth Interview, in order to know more detail about the factors that stimulated people to do impulsive buying. The result of the research shows that internal and external factors have significant influence to the behaviour of the consumer when buying impulsively through online shops and based from all the informant the factors that dominant stimulated people to do impulsive buying is internal factors. The suggestion it is better to online shopping mantain their quality and for consumer it is better to realize what factors that stimulated them to do impulse buying.Keywords: impulse buying, buying behaviour, online shopping, internal factors, external factors.

Abstract

Abstract: Total Quality Management is a key strategy for maintaining competitive advantage and is a way of managing organizations to improve it is overall effectiveness and performance. Nowadays, there is a lot of company that already implementing Total Quality Management (TQM). But, it is not guarantee that the employee feels satisfied with the management system. This study is aim to know the effect Of Total Quality Management (TQM) on Employee Satisfaction by analyze the Total Quality Management variable. In line with Government policies that provide opportunities to the private sector to move in the business of banking sector. Along with BRI vision to be excellent and credible company supported by competent human resources, the company has undertaken various efforts to maintain its superior position for all products and services also their quality of employee. The researcher analyzes the data based on primary data and secondary data by using SPSS software. The primary data is collected by distributing 80 questionnaires to 80 employee of Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Manado. Secondary data is collected by reading various books, journal, and browsing the internet. The researcher used Multiple Linear Regression to analyze the data. The result show that there is significant influence to Employee Satisfaction. The researcher recommends for the Company to improve their management quality to increase employee satisfaction. Because if the employee satisfied with their job, it will increase their performance. Abstract

Abstract: Electronic payment system has grown rapidly in recent years especially in Indonesia. This e-payment system has substituted the role of money as a tool to transact. It is seen from many new products of e-payment are emerging in the form of card-based and application based. The presence of e-payment transaction provides many conveniences and advantages for the consumer as well as the business community. Therefore, this study aims to analyze consumers’ perception of the use of electronic payment in Manado. To achieve this objective, the researcher obtained information from 20 informants used a qualitative study which is semi-structured interview to get detailed results. The results of this study showed factors; perceived trust, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, security and attitude have significant influence to consumer to use e-payment. Those factors sufficiently showed positive response towards its usage. Consumers dominantly have high trust and good perception with the security as well as the usefulness and ease of use of e-payment usage. However, this study indicated, network or system error become the main problem that faced by consumers during transaction. For issuer, it is better to keep improving the service quality, the security system as well as the infrastructure in Manado. Keywords: consumers perception, electronic payment, perceived trust, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, security,  attitude.

Abstract

Abstract: Social status and class system exist within every country of the world, in social life, we can see that there is a differentiation prevailing in social life. The purpose of this study is to analysis the Impact of Social Class Role towards Women's Career with a case study on employees at Bank OCBC NISP Branch Manado and Bank BNI regional Office Branch Manado. This research is using qualitative research method that explores the theories from several journal, articles, book and previous research. This research uses an exploratory approach with in-depth interviews to collect data from ten informants. Respondents were chosen by purposive sampling. The results indicate that their feel it is their pride to be career women who have achievements with the social class they have. Starting from be proud of career achievements, proud of achievements in social class position of the strata, and pride in the level of education, experience, work achievements. It can make them feel more Respected and more Appreciated in lives of their career. It also can bring a motivation in social life and career life that is to be a motivation to get a better career (position). Researcher recommend for all the women’s career by having a social class, employees must be more responsible. Therefore, must pay more attention to attitudes and behavior and maintain the good name of the company. Keywords: social class, social status, women, career, role of social class, women’s career

Abstract

Abstrak: Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Sam Ratulangi merupakan instansi pemerintah yang bergerak dalam bidang pendidikan. Apabila membicarakan tenaga kerja, maka hal tersebut tidak terlepas dari perihal gaji karyawan yang sangat mempengaruhi prestasi dan kinerja pegawai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana sistem dan prosedur akuntansi penggajian yang diterapkan pada Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Sam Ratulangi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan cara melakukan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sistem penggajian pada Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Sam Ratulangi Prosedur dalam sistem penggajian pada Fakultas ekonomi dan bisnis unsrat adalah prosedur administrasi kepegawaian, prosedur pencatatan waktu hadir, prosedur pembuatan daftar gaji, dan prosedur pembayaran gaji. Dokumen yang digunakan adalah data pegawai, dokumen pendukung perubahan gaji, surat tugas, daftar hadir, daftar gaji, rekap daftar gaji, dan bukti kas keluar. Catatan akuntansi yang digunakan adalah kartu gaji/slip gaji. Fungsi yang terkait adalah fungsi kepegawaian, fungsi pembuatan daftar gaji, fungsi keuangan sudah berjalan efektif sesuai dengan prosedur yang ada. Fakultas ekonomi dan bisnis Universitas sam ratulangi dalam penerapan sistem akuntansi penggajian diharapkan lebih di maksimalkan lagi agar sistem tidak eror dan tidak gampang terserang virus. Kata Kunci: penerapan, sistem akuntansi penggajian.

Abstract

The emergence of internet technology has created online advertising as the significant approach of commercial communication all over the world. Advertising has been defined as any paid form of non-personal communication of ideas and information about products in the media with the objective of creating brand image. The development of e-commerce in Indonesia has mushroomed based on MMX Multi-Platform on 2017 showed top 10 e-Commerce in Indonesia. The aim of this study is to analyze the difference of e-Advertisement between 2 big e-Commerce in Indonesia which are Tokopedia and Shopee. This research is a quantitative research and uses independent sample t-test. The sample size of this research is 100 customers of both e-Commerce. The results showed that there are 3 variables that there is no significant difference in e-Advertisement between Tokopedia and Shopee, and the rest were has a significant differences, by referring to the results of observations of online advertising between Tokopedia and Shopee, it was found that there is no difference, so the two big e-commerce companies should maximize their online marketing by determining the right segmentation. so that the direction of marketing is more measurable. Keywords: e-Advertisement, independent sample t-test, website design effectiveness, website security and privacy effectiveness, of information quality, brand recognition, demography.

Abstract

Abstract: In Manado, there are several Honda dealers. One of them is Honda Martadinata which is now run by PT. Remaja Jaya Mobilindo Manado. High levels of work engagement are when employees are involved with, committed to, enthusiastic, and passionate about their work. Employee relationship is one of key factors that can increase the employee’s well-being. The purpose of this study is to know the influence of work engagement and employee relationship on employee well-being at PT. Remaja Jaya Mobilindo Manado. This research using multiple regression with total sample 101 employees. The result shows that both of work engagement and employee relationship have a significant and positive influence toward employee well-being. The employee feel engage with their work and put all their efforts and knowledge on it and also has a great communication between one and another employee and also with their superiors. The company should arranging their employee to put them into a fitted division according to their skills and talent so their employee can give an efficient work that can increase the company performance in all sectors and should work hand-in-hand to enhance workplace happiness and in generating productive employee with the potential of being high performance achievers. Keywords: employee well-being, work engagement, employee relationship

Abstract

Abstract: Changes in lifestyle that demand easiness in meeting the needs and wants of every individuals are one of the reason for the development of retail business in Indonesia. There are two major retailers, which is Indomaret and Alfamart, both competing in their marketing mix and retail service quality scale. The purpose of this research is to compares the marketing mix and retail service quality scale indicators between Indomaret and Alfamart. The population is the customers of Indomaret and Alfamart in Tataaran 2 with the sample of 100 respondents and analyzed using the Independent Sample T-Test analysis. The result shows that there are no significant difference in terms of the marketing  mix. Meanwhile, it shows that there are difference in terms of the retail service quality scale based on the physical aspect and policy. Keywords: retail corporate image, alfamart, indomaret

Abstract

Abstract: The role of the physical environment in influencing customer behaviors and in creating a provider’s image is especially pertinent in a service industry such as the restaurant industry. What appeals to consumer preferences is not just food and drink, but also a pleasant dining environment. Increased attention is paid not only to the price and the merchandise itself, but also to providing a pleasant and possibly exciting shopping atmosphere. This research aims to identify how the Physical Environment at Sumoboo Restaurant and Dessert House. Type of this research is descriptive with quantitative approach and IPA used as the measurement tool. The sample size will be 100 customers. The result for service quality shows, There are two attributes that perceived important to the customer which are Cleanliness and Equipment. Those attributes was performed well by Sumoboo then placed in Quadrant 2. In Quadrant 1, the attributes are Scent. In Quadrant 3, the attributes are Temperature, Music, and Symbol. In Quadrant 4, the attributes are Lighting, Colors, Layout, Furnishing and Decoration. From the result the researcher suggests that Sumoboo Restaurant and Dessert House must have to keep up with the performance that they already given and continuously developing each day. ­­Keywords: importance and performance Analysis, physical environment.

Abstract

Abstract: A distributor company was established to provide products and services that are needed by the consumers. To perform good activities of distribution, human resource management is required to carry out their job and responsibilities. Strategic human resource management is important in managing human resources in order to determine the success of a company. This study aims to analyze the linkage between SHRM and Organizational Performance through Employee Relations as an intervening variable. This research is using quantitative research method, Population in this research is the all permanent employees in PT Borwita Citra Prima Manado with the sample size are 67 samples. Path analysis was used to measure the causal relationship between SHRM and organizational performance and employee relations as mediation. This research used sobel test to measure the indirect effect. The result of this research revealed there are positive relationship between SHRM toward organizational performance and employee relations as an intervening variable in PT. Borwita Citra Prima Manado. In this research is categorized as partially mediation effect. The company should reconsider to give appreciation for employees who work on time or employees who have low rate absenteeism and more maintain the stability of employee relations to reduce the employee?s interpersonal conflict. Keywords: strategic human resource management, organizational performance, employee relations.
