Abstract

Abstract: Human resource is a critical factor that affects the performance of the employees. Without employees an organization or a company can not run their mission and also vision. To improve the employee performance in an organization, they should enforce discipline of the employees and also team work. This research aims to analyze the effect of work discipline and team work on employee performance at PT. Bahasa Technology Solutions. The type of this research is a quantitative research. Multiple Regression Analysis was used in this research. The population observed all the employees at PT. Bahasa Technology Solutions, so the sample of this research is the same as the population, which are 30 respondents. This research result shows that the independent variable work discipline has no significant effect on employee performance and team work has significant effect on employee performance. Keywords: Work Discipline, Team Work, Employee Performance, Multiple Linear Regression

Abstract

The reason students can facing the world of competition because they have a motivation. A thing that help students to get their motivation when they are not get a motivation by themself is through extrinsic motivational factors. There are two objectives of this research are to analyze the effect of extrinsic motivational factors towards student achievement and to identify the most influental factors on student achievement. The method is multiple linear regression analysis to examine the effect of independent variable (Environment, Lecturer, Family, Study Group) on the dependent variable (student achievement). IBA students in Economics and Business Faculty, Sam Ratulangi University as the population with 100 respondents. The result of this analysis which extrinsic motivational factors have positive effects on student achievement and lecturer is the most influencing variable that significantly influence student achievement. Moreover, based on F-test and T-test, all independent variable influence student achievement simultaneously but not partially because family factor has no significant affect to student achievement. This study suggest that  the IBA system better to keep and maintain enthusiastic lecturer and family factor better to be increased  to make students can keep to be motivated more. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh perputaran total aset, perputaran piutang dan perputaran persediaan terhadap ROA. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yakni perusahaan sub sektor perdagangan eceran yang terdaftar di BEI. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan diperoleh 11 perusahaan sebagai sampel. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis regresi linier berganda menunjukkan bahwa perputaran total aset (X1) dan perputaran piutang (X2) berpengaruh positif terhadap ROA (Y). Sedangkan  perputaran persediaan (X3) tidak berpangaruh terhadap ROA (Y). Berdasarkan hasil dari tabel koefisien determinasi, nilai adjusted R² adalah sebesar 0,314. Hal ini berarti kemampuan variabel independen yakni perputaran total aset, perputaran piutang dan perputaran persediaan dalam menjelaskan variabel dependen yakni ROA adalah sebesar 31,4%, sedangkan 68,6% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Kata kunci:  Perputaran Total Aset, Perputaran Piutang, Perputaran Persediaan, ROA.

Abstract

Abstract: Subsidized houses is a program of Indonesian government that is designated specifically for low-income people. In making a purchase decision there will certainly be many factors such as, someone's motives in buying something for this case is buying a house. Buying motives are divided into two main classifications: the rational motive and emotional motive. This study aims to find out the influence of rational buying motives and emotional buying motives on consumer purchase decisions that buying a subsidized house provided by real estate developer PT Bangun Minanga Lestari. This type of research use multiple linear regression test with 65 respondents who have bought and owned a subsidized house of PT Bangun Minanga Lestari. Findings of the research show that all the attributes of consumer buying influence influence the purchase decision of subsidized houses simultaneously. Meanwhile partially, rational buying motives have an influence on purchasing subsidized houses and emotional buying motives does not have an influence on purchasing subsidized houses. Customers feels that the price, ease, their benefits and reliability are the important things in order to buying a new house. Government should more concern about the customer’s rational buyig motivesin order to encourage customer purchae decision.Keywords: consumer buying motives, rational buying motives, emotional buying motives, subsidized houses

Abstract: Hotel Lagoon and Four Points have a place in the central shopping area and both hotels are very strategic, access to go to the mall is very easy. which makes this hotel has a difference is to parked in the lagoon hotel is very easy to find and the location of the hotel lagoon is quite far from the streets, lagoon hotel is located behind the Bahu Mall, while for Four Points own place one with Manado Town Square, for parking also had to share with Mantos and in the end it was difficult to find an empty parking lot. The location of the four points hotel is close to the streets so for access using public transport more easily. the price offered is also different. for the size of hotels such as lagoon can be categorized as luxury hotel but the price given by the hotel is cheaper than the four points hotel. while the price offered by four points higher., in terms of hospitality Hotel Lagoon has employees who cater to visitors very friendly and faster to respond than the Four Points, and seen from the design Lagoon has a spot to take pictures for the hobby by taking pictures and also distinguishes the Lagoon and Four points from its design, for the building design between the Lagoon and the more luxurious Four Points Lagoon than the Four Points. ­­Keywords: price, hospitality, design

Abstract

Manager plays an important role in achieving the goal of an organization. The success can not be separated from active role of a leader in improving human resources performance. Therefore, one of the way for the employees to be more professional and more optimal to do the job is to provide role model to educate and train. The active role of a leader is also necessary to give guidance and direction to employees as well as to supervise their work so that organizational goals can be achieved effectively. The purpose of this study is to determine how the manager's role in improving the performance of employees in reaching the organizational goal and to determine the performance of employees in the company, according to Mintzberg’s Managerial Role, study case in “Serbu” Retail Shop Tomohon. The populations observed in this study are the manager and the employees who have been working along with the manager in a period of time as many as 11 respondents. The results based on data collection method processed using the In-Depth Interview. There are three main roles that the manager should play according to Mintzberg which are (1) Interpersonal Role, (2) Informational Role, and (3) Decisional Role. Abstract

Abstract: Absenteeim is the absence of someone at work. In Indonesia, especially for the State Civil Service (ASN), absenteeism will affect their salary or income. According to previous research, absenteeism has a relationship with job stress and job insecurity. Job stress is a condition of constancy that creates a physical and psychological imbalance, which affects emotions, thought processes, and the condition of an employee. Job insecurity is the powerlessness to guarantee the continuity of work or its components when the work situation is threatened, and creates insecurity for employees, or insecurity felt by employees. This research uses quantitative methods. The sample of this study were all respondents of KPU Minahasa Tenggara. This research uses purposive sampling and the date is filled in by 30 respondents. The results of this study indicate that simultaneous Job Insecurity and Job Stress have a significant effect on Absenteeism, Job Insecurity does not significantly influence Absenteeism in the Southeast Minahasa KPU partially, and Work Stress behavior has a significant effect on Absence in the Southeast Minahasa KPU partially. The recommendation is for the Southeast Minahasa KPU to focus more on knowing what drives Work Stress in the Southeast Minahasa KPU and the impact on absenteeism from the office. As frequently mentioned by companies, managers and employees must work together to find out what is best for the company. Keywords: job stress

Abstract

Pajak merupakan sumber penerimaan Negara, salah satu alternatif peningkatan penerimaan pajak adalah peningkatan Pajak Penghasilan (PPh). Dalam upaya peningkatan penerimaan pajak penghasilan diperlukan suatu perencanaan yang dapat memperkirakan tingkat penerimaan pajak yang wajar yaitu melalui faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi penerimaan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya kepatuhan wajib pajak dan pencairan tunggakan pajak terhadap penerimaan pajak penghasilan orang pribadi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa kepatuhan wajib pajak dan pencairan tunggakan pajak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penerimaan pajak. Pimpinan Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Manado sebaiknya meningkatkan kepatuhan wajib pajak melalui penyuluhan sehingga tercipta kesadaran untuk membayar pajak, demikian juga terhadap pencairan tunggakan pajak agar penerimaan pajak lebih optimal dan meningkat.   Kata kunci: wajib pajak, tunggakan pajak, penerimaan pajak.

Abstract

Pajak  adalah  iuran rakyat kepada kas negara berdasarkan Undang-Undang yang dapat dipaksakan dengan tidak mendapat imbal jasa (kontraprestasi), yang langsung dapat ditunjukkan. Digunakan juga untuk membiayai pengeluaran-pengeluaran umum yang berhubungan dengan tugas negara untuk menyelenggarakan pemerintahan. CV Delta Dharma merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang konstruksi. Perusahaan melakukan pembayaran pajak yang salah satunya adalah pajak penghasilan (PPh) badan yaitu PPh Pasal 25. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perhitungan, penyetoran, dan pelaporan PPh Pasal 25 pada CV Delta Dharma. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan metode penelitian deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perhitungan, penyetoran dan pelaporan PPh Pasal 25 pada CV Delta Dharma belum sesuai dengan ketentuan dan tata cara perpajakan yang berlaku. Karena dalam hal pembayaran atau penyetoran pajak CV Delta Dharma sering mengalami keterlambatan, dikarenakan belum adanya karyawan yang langsung menangani pajak pada perusahaan tersebut. Oleh sebab itu manajemen seharusnya merekrut karyawan khusus untuk menangani pajak, agar pembayaran atau penyetoran pajak sesuai dengan ketentuan dan tata cara perpajakan. Abstract

Workforce diversity is a mix of people within a workforce who are considered to be, in some way different from those in the prevailing constituency. Organizations have recognized the importance of embracing policies and practicing to diversity their workforces because it helps enhance competitiveness, build talent, expand organizational capabilities, and enhance access to markets like diverse customer bases. The benefits of diversity are achieved by acknowledging the strengths diversity can bring to organization. Service office of state property and auction (KPKNL) Manado is one of firm in Manado as one of base of workforce diversity that come not just from Manado but also from outside Manado. KPKNL Manado became representative for firm that haves foundation of workforce diversity. The objective of this research is to analyze factors workforce diversity on firm productivity especially in KPKNL Manado. Research method that had been used for this research is associated with multiple linear regression analysis technique. The population in this research is all employees at KPKNL Manado with sample as many as 36 respondents. This shows that workforce diversity (age diversity, educational diversity and gender diversity) has impact toward firm productivity and age diversity is the most significant factor that affects to firm Productivity at KPKNL Manado.  Keywords: workforce diversity, firm Productivity
