Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effect of product quality and brand image on customer satisfaction at the Visval company. The research method used is quantitative and explanatory research. The population and sample in this study were customers who had shopped for Visval products on Shopee e-commerce at least once. Data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire method. The total respondents collected in this study were 145 respondents. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques using IBM SPSS 25 software. The results in this study indicate that Product Quality and Brand Image simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction. Product Quality also has a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction, and Brand Image also has a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction.Keywords: Brand Image; Customer Satisfaction; Product Quality Abstraksi: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meneliti pengaruh dari kualitas produk dan brand image terhadap kepuasan pelanggan pada perusahaan Visval. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan eksplanatori. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah pelanggan yang telah berbelanja produk Visval pada e-commerce Shopee setidaknya satu kali. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuesioner. Total responden yang terkumpul pada penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 145 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan software IBM SPSS 25. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kualitas Produk dan Brand Image secara simultan memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Pelanggan. Kualitas Produk juga berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Pelanggan, dan Brand Image juga berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Pelanggan..Kata Kunci: Brand Image; Kepuasan Pelanggan; Kualitas Produk

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of social media marketing on consumer purchase intention for the Instagram-based florist business, @_Florie. The research aims to understand the relationship between social media marketing strategies and purchase intention among Instagram users. The population consists of Instagram users who follow @_Florie, and the sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires and observations. Quantitative methods were employed to analyze the data, including validity, reliability, simultaneous testing, and partial testing. Key findings indicate that dimensions such as entertainment, customization, electronic word-of-mouth (EWOM), interaction, and trendiness significantly influence purchase intention. The study concludes that effective social media marketing strategies can enhance consumer engagement and drive purchase intentions for online businesses.

Abstract

Promoting rural tourism is crucial for Indonesia as it seeks to balance economic growth with environmental sustainability and social responsibility. However, revitalizing community-owned enterprises to develop community-based rural tourism presents a considerable challenge.  This key strategy for rural economic development aims to align the value of natural resources with economic benefits.  This paper explores a case study of BUMDES Sukamakmur located in Sirnajaya Village, West Java, with an emphasis on its natural and agricultural assets. The village features several resources, including a coffee plantation, which offers opportunities for economic development. The study seeks to analyze how rural institutions contribute to the establishment of a sustainable rural tourism model through the implementation of value-chain and network strategies. A qualitative approach with a single case study was conducted, involving focus group discussions among key stakeholders.  A network model is proposed to support rural tourism development through empowering local community institutions, such as village-owned enterprises.  The model guides sustainable rural tourism development in other Indonesian villages or countries facing similar challenges.  This research contributes to understanding the role of rural institutions and their best practices in achieving and sustaining rural tourism development while identifying effective tourism strategies.

Abstract

Digital business developments and the COVID-19 pandemic have encouraged companies such as IND ONDERDIL to transform their business into digital by utilizing e-commerce. In its operations, IND ONDERDIL uses omnichannel, including using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) feature, which plays a role in increasing sales and operational efficiency. With omnichannel, IND ONDERDIL can integrate all e-commerce which allows cross-selling to occur, as well as increasing consumer trust and loyalty. This research analyzes the effectiveness of using WMS on the timeliness of order processing and the accuracy of the quantity of goods in storage. The research uses quantitative methods with a case study approach, as well as data collection through observation and interviews. The operationalization of the effectiveness variable includes two criteria: timeliness of the process and accuracy of the quantity of goods. The research results show that the WMS used by IND ONDERDIL is effective in increasing the efficiency of order processing time and ensuring the accuracy of the quantity of goods. However, to improve performance further, companies are advised to regularly carry out stock taking to minimize inventory data errors. Apart from that, Human Resources (HR) training needs to be carried out to improve the ability to utilize technology optimally, so that processing time and accuracy improve. In conclusion, the use of WMS has a positive impact on IND ONDERDIL's operational effectiveness. The implementation of additional steps such as routine stock taking and HR training is expected to further improve the company's performance in facing digital business competition.

Abstract

Dalam era digital yang ditandai oleh perkembangan teknologi digital, termasuk internet, komputasi awan, kecerdasan buatan, Internet of Things (IoT), dan perangkat bergerak, digitalisasi telah menciptakan perubahan mendasar dalam dunia bisnis. Digitalisasi bukan hanya memungkinkan perusahaan untuk beroperasi secara online dan mencapai pasar global, tetapi juga memengaruhi berbagai aspek bisnis, termasuk pengalaman pelanggan, efisiensi operasional, pemasaran, inovasi produk dan layanan, serta kemampuan beroperasi secara global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak digitalisasi terhadap perubahan strategi bisnis perusahaan di era digital, serta mengidentifikasi cara integrasi digitalisasi ke dalam strategi perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Faktor pertumbuhan eksponensial digitalisasi dan tema utama yang terkait dengan digitalisasi memainkan peran penting dalam perubahan ini. Untuk mencapai keunggulan bersaing di era digital, perusahaan seperti Bank BCA menggunakan strategi generik seperti biaya rendah atau diferensiasi. Hubungan antara digitalisasi, strategi perusahaan, dan keunggulan bersaing sangat erat, dengan digitalisasi yang bertindak sebagai pendorong strategi perusahaan dan sumber competitive advantage.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis seberapa efisien bahan baku yang dikendalikan dalam proses produksidi PT X untuk memenuhi permintaan konsumen. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisa deskriptif untuk menggambarkan atau menguraikan data yang akan diteliti kemudian diolah menggunakan perhitungan EOQ. Data yang akan diteliti adalah data permintaan dan data produksi.Data tersebut diambil berdasarkan melakukan survey ke lokasi dan juga wawancara dengan pemilik PT X. Setelah data tersebut didapatkan kemudian dibuat analisis dengan menggunakan metode EOQ. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh bahwa proses produksi di PT X yang dilakukan memiliki hasil yang baik karena seluruh pekerjaan dilakukan saling berurutan dan dapat selesai sesuai dengan jadwal yang telah disepakati. Persediaan bahan baku yang telah dihitung dengan menggunakan metode EOQ menghasilkan jumlah ekonomis. Perusahaan dapat menghemat biaya dari setiap biaya aktual bahan baku sehingga dapat mengetahui jumlah optimal bahan baku yang dapat dipesan dalam periode tertentu dan biaya yang harus dikeluarkan.Keywords: Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Persediaan Bahan Baku

Abstract

Kepatuhan tenaga kesehatan terhadap kebersihan tangan merupakan langkah sederhana namun krusial dalam mencegah infeksi yang diperoleh di rumah sakit (infeksi nosokomial). Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah angka kepatuhan kebersihan tangan petugas Instalasi Gawat Darurat Charitas Hospital Palembang yang belum memenuhi target Nasional  ≥85%, meskipun telah mengalami peningkatan dari 68,83% (2021), menjadi 81,58% (2023).  Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memahami sejauh mana manajemen sumber daya manusia, supervisi, dan ketersediaan fasilitas dapat mempengaruhi kepatuhan petugas terhadap 5 momen kebersihan tangan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatori dengan desain cross-sectional dan menggunakan total sampling pada 78 responden petugas Instalasi Gawat Darurat. Kepatuhan tertinggi terjadi pada momen setelah kontak dengan cairan tubuh pasien (mean 4,91), sedangkan kepatuhan terendah terjadi pada momen sebelum kontak dengan pasien (mean 4,29). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketiga variabel, baik secara bersama-sama maupun masing-masing, berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepatuhan kebersihan tangan. Manajemen sumber daya manusia (p = 0,013), supervisi (p = 0,043), dan ketersediaan fasilitas (p = 0,010) semuanya berperan nyata dalam membentuk perilaku patuh tenaga kesehatan. Model regresi yang digunakan juga telah lolos uji asumsi klasik, yang menunjukkan validitas hasil yang diperoleh. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya pendekatan holistik, di mana pelatihan yang berkelanjutan, pengawasan yang konsisten, serta fasilitas kebersihan tangan yang memadai harus berjalan seiring untuk menciptakan budaya keselamatan dan kualitas pelayanan yang lebih baik di rumah sakit.

Abstract

Strengthening Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) is crucial for reducing economic disparities in rural areas and promoting sustainable community development. While previous studies have primarily focused on financial structures and regulatory frameworks, this research adopts a participatory approach that actively engages local stakeholders in capacity-building efforts. Using BUMDes Mekarsari in Garut Regency as a case study, the study examines how participatory strengthening programs enhance the socio-economic resilience of rural communities. Employing qualitative methods—including in-depth interviews and field observations—it identifies key factors influencing BUMDes effectiveness, such as continuous training, institutional collaboration, and improved access to finance. The findings reveal that a participatory model not only fosters community engagement but also improves business sustainability and expands economic opportunities. In particular, the involvement of women and local artisans demonstrates the program’s inclusivity and potential for social transformation. Moreover, the integration of digital marketing strategies has opened new market access, further supporting rural entrepreneurship. To maximize practical impact, the study offers concrete policy recommendations, including strengthening institutional support for BUMDes, fostering multi-sector partnerships, and enhancing financial accessibility through local and national policies. These insights contribute to a more inclusive framework for rural economic empowerment, providing policymakers with a strategic foundation for designing community-driven BUMDes programs that ensure their long-term success as catalysts for local development.

Abstract

Timely graduation is widely recognized as a key indicator of academic quality and institutional effectiveness in higher education. While previous studies have examined individual predictors of student progression, few have combined academic, demographic, and socioeconomic factors into a comprehensive predictive model, particularly within the context of Indonesian private universities. This study aims to identify the main factors influencing on-time graduation by applying logistic regression to student data collected from a private university’s academic information system. The dataset includes 9,012 undergraduate records from cohorts entering between 2017 and 2020, covering a range of academic, admission, and background variables. The analysis reveals that fourth-semester GPA, attendance rate, scholarship status, completion of mandatory courses, and early course load have a significant impact on the probability of graduating on time. The predictive model achieved an accuracy of 85.76% and a recall of 90%, demonstrating strong classification performance. Although the findings are based on data from a single institution, the results offer practical insights for developing academic early warning systems and inform data-driven planning in higher education management.

Abstract

This study tried to analyze the factors that influence the happiness level of entrepreneurs in Indonesia especially the nascent entrepreneurs. The level of entrepreneurs’ happiness has a positive effect on the sustainability of their business. The research data are secondary data from 1,148 respondents who are included in the category of Total Early-stage Entrepreneurial Activity (TEA) at Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) in 2013. The variables employed are motivation, perception and innovation and demographic variables (gender, education and income). Analyzer used is multiple linear regressions with dummy variable. From  the result, it is found that only the motivation, education level and level of income that significantly influence the level of happiness. The nascent entrepreneurs, who have motivation to start a business because of opportunity, have a higher level of happiness than necessity motivation due to necessity. The level of education and income are also proportional to the level of happiness, but the level of education gives greater influence to the level of happiness of nascent entrepreneurs in Indonesia.
