Abstract

Tulisan ini mengajukan masalah utama seberapa besar dampak kosmopolitanisme dalam terhadap pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Riset ini menggunakan perspektif studi kosmopolitanisme yang didukung perspektif teori situasional dan teori relasional. Lokasi penelitian tersebar di Kota Cimahi Jawa Barat. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 20.702 orang dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 400 peserta didik.  Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey cross-sectional. Data diambil melalui kuesioner dan uji kompetensi, dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Modeling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dampak kosmopolitanisme terhadap pendidikan kewarganegaraan memiliki angka yang cukup signifikan (dengan R2 = 0,6971 atau 69,71%). Karena itu, perlu adanya proses harmonisasi kosmopolitanisme bagi siswa-siswi sekolah menengah dalam pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Kosmopolitanisme memiliki efek lebih tinggi terhadap pendidikan kewarganegaraan (31,44%). Kosmopolitanisme yang dipelajari dalam pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan memiliki efek pada siswa-siswi sekolah menengah di Cimahi, sebesar 13,42%. Kosmopolitanisme menjadi faktor krusial dalam mengembangkan kualitas pembelajaran pendidikan kewarga-negaraan di tengah proses globalisasi. Hal ini memberikan implikasi bahwa pemerintah perlu meninjau kembali kurikulum pendidikan kewarganegaraan, agar siswa tidak terpengaruh budaya global yang negatif dan pola pikir yang dapat mencabut nilai-nilai keindonesiaan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT             The idea of the strengthening of citizenship values came with implications on the perspective of realizing national resilience in the school. The purpose of this study was to analyzed the strengthening of citizenship values to realized national resilience in the School environment.                 This research used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection used interview, observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis used interactive analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation and data verification.                 The results showed that strengthening the values of citizenship to realized national resilience in the school environment was through three ways, namely: 1) learning innovative citizenship education, 2) internationalizing the values of national resilience in the school environment by habituation and 3) the existence of extracurricular activities which was a discussion forum for students to deepened the values of national resilience in the school environment. Citizenship values were important for students because they would form a person who had a national spirit, loves the motherland and had an identity as an Indonesian nation.         ABSTRAK Gagasan penguatan  nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan hadir dengan implikasi pada perspektif  mewujudkan ketahanan nasional pada lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis penguatan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan dalam mewujudkan ketahanan nasional pada lingkungan sekolah.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan disain studi kasus. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analsisi data menggunakan analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguatan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan untuk   mewujudkan ketahanan nasional pada lingkungan sekolah dilakukan melalui tiga cara, yaitu: 1) pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan yang inovatif, 2) internasliasi nilai-nilai ketahanan nasional pada lingkungan sekolah dengan pembiasaan dan 3) adanya aktivitas ekstra kurikuler yang menjadi forum diskusi bagi siswa dalam memperdalam nilai-nilai ketahanan nasional pada lingkungan sekolah. Nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan penting bagi siswa karena akan membentuk pribadi yang memiliki jiwa nasioalisme, cinta tanah air dan memiliki identitas sebagai bangsa Indonesia.

Abstract

This study attempts to encourage character building of students with special needs, especially the character of independence. Being independent serves as one of primary education goals for children with autism to reduce dependence towards others and to raise sense of responsibility in their daily lives. Qualitative method is applied in this study in which the researcher investigates natural objects and plays a role as the key instrument. Data collection technique was done through triangulation, data analysis was performed inductively, and research findings highlighted more on the meaning instead of generalizatibility.  The data collection technique is tentative in nature. During the research process, research questions were solved through collecting and analyzing information gathered from related participants. The interview technique is generally distinguished into 2 namely 1) structured interview and 2) unstructured interview. The finding of this research reveals that the character of being independent in children with special needs can be promoted by habituation to involve children in daily activities as well as during online learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keinginan penulis untuk menganalisis budaya ertutur atau suatu tradisi bertegur sapa adat Batak Karo yang semakin hari semakin mulai ditinggalkan para generasi mudanya. Mereka umumnya tidak mengenal kembali silsilah atau keturunan terdahulunya. Di Kota Cimahi sendiri sebagian besar di Komunitas Batak Karo sebagian besar tidak mengenal budaya erturtur. Metode penelitan yamh digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara kepada anggota Komunitas Batak Karo. Hasil penelitian meunjukkan bahwa budaya erturtur sudah mulai dipahami oleh komunitas tersebut. Hal ini menjadi tugas para tokoh adat, para pemimpin keagaan untuk membumikan kembali budaya erturtur di kalangan generasi muda agar tidak hilang ditelan zaman.

Abstract

In utterance, there must be some disfluency whether in normal people or in stutterer. Moreover, the disfluency would be different if it was categorized into two based on the gender. The researchers’ figures out the disfluency based on the gender, male and female. The article was to find out any types of disfluency that appear on the male and female speeches, to find the dominant type of disfluency occured in male and female speeches, the difference between male and female speeches, and the factors causing the disfluency made by male and female speeches. The sample was 24 English learners at Kampung Inggris Semarang, 12 males and 12 females. In collecting the data the researchers used observation and interview. In analysing the data, the researchers used the theory from Clark and Wasow supported by Johnson and Bortfeld et.al. The result showed that nine types of disfluency occur in learners’ speech, i.e filler, silent pause, revision, incomplete phrase, broken word, repetition, grammatical disfluency, prolongation, and false start. The dominant disfluency occured in male and female speeches was filler. In the dominant disfluency, males produced more filers than females, whereas silent pause was more produced in female speeches. Besides, there was some factors causing disfluency made by male and female learners of Kampung Inggris Semarang, which were related to psychological factors. It included cognitive factors and affective factors. In total, male produced more disfluency than female. Besides that male learner made more factors which could affect the disfluency in their speeches than female learners, male learners were more likely not in mastering grammar and vocabularies and getting prepared in materials. Abstract

This study purposed to describe the communication pattern of students at the University of Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta and described Civic Virtue implementation through civic education in higher education in terms of forming young generation communication patterns. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method. The subject of the study was five lecturers of civic education. Data were collected through interviews, observation, documentation, and focus group discussion (FGD). The data were analyzed by using Miles and Huberman’s principles as data reduction, data display, and stating the conclusion. The result of the research showed that the students’ pattern of communication at higher education was influenced by some factors were environment and knowledge factor. The fostering of Civic Virtue through civic education in higher education in forming young generation communication pattern has existed in the process of Civic Virtue fostering that involves democratic values, self-control, and prioritizing plurality interest. The Civic Virtue in the category civic disposition involves responsibility, self-discipline, human rights respect, willingness to hear, negotiating, and compromising. Besides, the Civic Virtue in the category of civic commitment involves a commitment to the implementation of democratic citizenship rights, responsibility for democratic citizenship, constitutionalism, and tendency to participate politically

Abstract

The word corruption is covered almost every day by the mass media and has become a topic of discussion in various circles of society. Corruption is an extraordinary crime because it can affect the community, and in the long run, it is more dangerous for the younger generation's behavior. If conditions like that are allowed, the country's future will be very bleak. Therefore, it is necessary to instill anti-corruption values through education to internalize anti-corruption values in various ways, one of which is through the application of an honesty canteen. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the honesty canteen in increasing students' understanding of anti-corruption values at SMPN 2 Cipunagara. The method used is quantitative with descriptive verification method. The population is 391 students with a sample of 78 students. The approach used is quantitative with a descriptive verification method.Data collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews, observation, and document analysis. Data analysis relies on statistical tests of questionnaire results which are supported by interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results showed that the honesty canteen development model had a significant effect on the culture of anti-corruption values. This is evidenced by finding a correlation coefficient (r) of 0895 which means that the degree of relationship between variable X, namely honesty canteen, is very close and even perfectly related to variable Y, namely understanding anti-corruption values. The magnitude of the significance in the regression analysis is 0.174 0.05. The t value is 17.463 t table 00003289 so it can be concluded that H1 is accepted, that is, there is an effect of X on Y. And the R-square value of 0.800 in the analysis of the coefficient of determination, which means the effect of X on Y is seen as 80 ,0%. This shows that the existence of honesty canteen activities in schools has a very positive impact on students' understanding of anti-corruption values.Kata korupsi hampir setiap hari diliput oleh media massa dan menjadi perbincangan di beragai kalangan masyarakat. Korupsi merupakan kejahatan yang tidak biasa (ekstra ordinary crime) karena dapat menimpa masyarakat dan  dalam jangka panjang lebih membahayakan perilaku generasi muda. Jika kondisi seperti itu dibiarkan masa depan suatu negara akan sangat suram. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan langkah-langkah menanamkan nilai-nilai antikorupsi melalui pendidikan untuk menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai antikorupsi dengan berbagai cara salah satunya melalui penerapan kantin kejujuran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kantin kejujuran dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang nilai-nilai antikorupsi di SMPN 2 Cipunagara. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif verifikatif. Populasi adalah 391 siswa dengan sampel 78 siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif verifikatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner, wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen.  Analisa data bertumpu kepada uji statistika hasil kuesioner yang didukung hasil wawancara, observasi, dan analisa dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Model pengembangan kantin kejujuran berpengaruh signifikan terhadap budaya nilai-nilai anti korupsi. Hal ini diuktikan dengan ditemukannya koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0895 yang berarti bahwa derajat hubungan antara variael X yaitu kantin kejujuran sangat erat bahkan berhubungan  sempurna dengan variael Y yaitu pemahaman anti- nilai korupsi. Besarnya signifikansi dalam analisis regresi adalah  0,174 0,05  dan nilai t hitung 17.463 t tabel 00003289 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa H1 diterima yaitu terdapat pengaruh X terhadap Y. Dan nilai Rsquare sebesar 0.800 pada analisis koefisien determinasi yang berarti pengaruh X terhadap Y seesar 80,0%. Hal ini menunjukkanb bahwa adanya kegiatan kantin kejujuran di sekolah berdampak sangat  positif terhadap  pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai-nilai antikorupsi.

Abstract

North Sumatra province has a variety of unique cultures, one of which is marriage tradition and wedding ceremony. Marriages—containing noble values and norms of the purpose of life—are legally bound in traditional wedding ceremonies so the marriage will be safe. In Batak Karo tribe, one of the tribes in North Sumatra, the ideal marriage is the one that follows the rimpal tradition, which means that a man will be recommended to marry the daughter of his mother's brother. In its development, inter-ethnic marriages provide a solution to overcome the problems of unideal marriage. This article describes the condition when the ideal marriage is not fulfilled. The study used qualitative approach in the Karo Persadaan community in Cimahi City, West Java, involving the role of religious and traditional leaders. The results of the study show that inter-ethnic weddings in the Batak Karo community are allowed but with complete customary procedures as performed in ideal wedding ceremonies to preserve their local wisdom and prevent the Batak Karo identity from being extinct overseas.
