Abstract

Anak berkebutuhan khusus yakni anak yang mengalami gangguan fisik, mental, intelegensi, dan emosi sehingga membutuhkan pembelajaran khusus, dimana anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) merujuk pada anak yang memiliki kesulitan atau ketidakmampuan belajar. Anak berkebutuhan khusus diharapkan mampu memiliki karakter mandiri. Karakter mandiri bagi anak autis merupakan tujuan akhir agar anak tidak bergantung kepada orang lain dan dapat bertanggungjawab dalam menjalankan kehidupan sehari-harinya. Guru dan orang tua melakukan upaya dalam membangun karakter mandiri bagi anak dengan cara pembiasaan, yakni anak harus diberi rasa percaya diri dan kesempatan oleh orang tua agar terbiasa. Pada saat pembelajaran Daring karena kondisi pandemi covid-19,banyak hambatan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring antara lain berkaitan dengan kesiapan sumber daya manusia, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana, khususnya dukungan teknologi dan jaringan internet.

Abstract

Student organizations are very essentials in developing basic qualities of students and share interests, talents, and potential in extracurricular activities in the organizations. In Indonesia, student organizations play an important role of developing the student potential. The purpose of this article therefore is to review, describe, and explore the benefits of student organizations. Data were collected from eight Student Executive Board (BEM) in eight different campuses located in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The phenomenological approach is carried out to uncover the usefulness of student organizations. In general, this article establishes that student organizations support the mastery of citizenship skills. The results show that there are 5 benefits students gain, including (1) Increasing civic awareness, (2) Increasing civic engagement, (3) enhanced the level of professionalism, (4) Instilling creativity, and (5) improved critical thinking. This article concludes that there is a need to carry out activities related to the management of skills in the planning work programs of the Student Executive Board (BEM), participating in scientific meetings, seminars, conferences, or training. This leads to a harmonious work atmosphere and wise decision making.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan Pembelajaran Seni Budaya berbasis kearifan lokal Tari Narantika Rarangganis dalam pembelajaran nilai cinta tanah air di SMAN 2 Kota Cimahi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi studi kasus dan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Proses Pembelajaran Seni Budaya berbasis kearifan lokal dengan menampilkan tari Narantika Rarangganis sebagai tarian daerah Jawa Barat yang berwatak cinta damai, menjaga tanah air, kekeluargaan, atau silaturrahmi, serta memelihara dan mengembangkan nilai kearifan lokal. Upaya penanaman rasa cinta tanah air melalui Pembelajaran Seni Budaya, meliputi pertunjukan budaya, bulan bahasa, pendidikan karakter, pengenalan budaya daerah, dan pelaksanaan prakarsa perbaikan sekolah yang mencakup pelestarian budaya daerah.

Abstract

This study attempts to encourage character building of students with special needs, especially the character of independence. Being independent serves as one of primary education goals for children with autism to reduce dependence towards others and to raise sense of responsibility in their daily lives. Qualitative method is applied in this study in which the researcher investigates natural objects and plays a role as the key instrument. Data collection technique was done through triangulation, data analysis was performed inductively, and research findings highlighted more on the meaning instead of generalizatibility.  The data collection technique is tentative in nature. During the research process, research questions were solved through collecting and analyzing information gathered from related participants. The interview technique is generally distinguished into 2 namely 1) structured interview and 2) unstructured interview. The finding of this research reveals that the character of being independent in children with special needs can be promoted by habituation to involve children in daily activities as well as during online learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the description of social studies learning through online, analyze the planning as well as the implementation of social studies learning, analyze evaluation of social studies learning through online at a junior high school in Soreang, Bandung Regency. The method used in the study uses a qualitative approach, the type of case study research. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The result of the research is that online social studies learning is the result of a teacher council meeting at the direction of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Bandung Regency Education Office. Social studies learning planning through online is prepared with reference to the 2013 Curriculum which is simplified and adapted to the needs of social studies subjects without being burdened with demands to complete all curriculum achievements and is focused on life skills education in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The implementation of social studies learning through online is generally carried out with asynchronous learning (not interactive) with virtual classroom media from Google Docs and the like which are modified by the teacher according to the needs of social studies subjects. Evaluation of social studies learning through online is carried out in three ways, namely (1) knowledge through tests using Google Form media and assignments using Google Drive media; (2) skills through projects and portfolios with Google Drive media; (3) attitude through attendance and discipline to follow all learning activities by referring to the teacher's notes.

Abstract

This study was based on the development of the times which increasingly shows attention to character education – the responsibility of students who are starting to worry about education staff and parents. Civics subjects that focus on the formation of citizens who understand and are able to carry out their rights and obligations. However, in the current state of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) outbreak, it demanded to implement social restrictions and organize an activity from home through government circular number 15 of 2020. The obstacles faced in the implementation of online learning, among others, related to the readiness of human resources, limitations in facilities and infrastructure, as well as limitations in communication. This study determined the efforts to develop the character of responsibility from both teachers and students during online learning at a vocational high school in Cimahi City. This study used a qualitative approach, where the data were involving the results of interviews with teachers, curriculum representatives, and students. The results of the study, strengthening the character of responsibility can be seen from the objective conditions of online learning, lesson planning, implementation, evaluation, and school support programs, and PPKn teachers. To improve the quality of online learning, schools provide learning services according to needs during a pandemic, policy socialization is needed by teachers. curriculum representatives, as well as students. Abstract

Keberadaan kesenian tradisional disikapi sebagai kearifan lokal masyarakat, sebagai kesenian tradisional yang dianggap kurang sejalan dengan perkembangan zaman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penguatan pendidikan karakter pada nilai nilai religius, nilai nasionalis, nilai kemandirian, nilai gotong-royong, dan nilai integritas pada kesenian pencak silat di Paguron Purwa Kencana Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode desktiptif. Data yang dianalasis adalah data hasil wawancara dengan pengurus pencak silat, pelatih pencak silat, tokoh masyarakat, peserta didik dan orang tua peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui penguatan pendidikan dapat dibentuk melalui kesenian pencak silat melalui nilai religius, nilai nasionalis, nilai kemandirian, nilai gotong-royong dan nilai integritas.

Abstract

This study was to analyze the importance of component utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning. This study was acknowledged by the results of a survey to the secondary school education teachers in the Subject Teachers' Association (MGMP) for Citizenship Education field in Cimahi as many as 42 schools and 146 teachers through the Google Form application and 104 teachers responded according to the Krejcie and Morgan tables. The method used in this research was descriptive survey. Based on the survey results, the main findings in this survey were not very encouraging, because most teachers in the learning process were not always even inclined. They sometimes never used technological media, social networks, use current issues, and assigned learning material widely and in depth. Further research on teachers must be able to master technological assiatance in to make the Citizenship Education was more crucial and urgent for students. On the other hand, students must be able to utilize social media in the daily lives. The school should also provide internet access for the continuation of the learning process. Thus, the government must be able to provide internet access for schools in remote areas, so that technology-based learning is no longer a barrier for teachers and students

Abstract

National insight in the era of disruption needs to be improved because the era of disruption, directly and indirectly, had an impact on human life, including increasing national insight. This study aims to determine the role of PPKn teachers in increasing students' national insight in the era of disruption 4.0. This research was conducted at a junior high school in Bandung Regency using a qualitative research approach. The research subjects were PPKn teachers, MTs Principals, Curriculum PKM, Student PKM, and students. Data collection in this study was carried out through observation, interviews, documentation studies, and the analysis technique used data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the role of Civics Teachers in increasing students' national insight in the Disruption Era 4.0 is 1) As a builder of devotion that is relevant to the school's vision and mission, namely the realization of a generation with SATF characters (Siddiq, Amanah, Tabligh and Fathanah), 2) As a character builder through extracurricular activities of Scouts, Paskibra and PMR, 3) Play a role in preparing the flag ceremony every Monday, commemorating the Commemoration of National Holidays (PHBN), 4) As a student mentor in the implementation of class picket habituation, clean Friday activities, social services, giving and giving charity, and 5) the teacher as a facilitator to invite, remind, and provide understanding to students in managing the environment with the spirit of honesty. This study concludes that Civics teachers play a role in increasing students' national insight in the era of disruption 4.0.
