This research focuses on the differences in mathematical critical thinking skills between students who use differentiated learning strategies and those who use undifferentiated learning strategies. The methodology used in this research is experimental research using the nonequivalent posttest-only control group design. The participants of this study consisted of X-1 and X-3 students at SMA Negeri 1 Mantup with 30 students in each class. Each class was divided into 5 groups with the number of each group of 6 students. The data used in this study came from instruments in the form of a questionnaire that assessed students' learning styles in the experimental class, as well as a post-test that measured mathematical critical thinking skills. The posttest used consists of three essay questions covering 4 critical thinking indicators, namely interpreting, analyzing, evaluating, and inferring. The scores obtained by students will be assessed using the T test or independent samples T test. Based on the research findings, 3 learning style groups were obtained with 14 students of visual learning style, 8 students of auditorial learning style, and 8 students of kinesthetic learning style, respectively. For the post-test results of each class showed that there were differences in mathematical critical thinking skills between students who received differentiated learning and students who received undifferentiated learning with a t value of 2.781 exceeding the t table value of 2.001 which means there is an influence between differentiated learning on mathematical critical thinking skills.

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the field dependent-field independent cognitive style and interest in learning partially or simultaneously affect the understanding of mathematical concepts. This type of research is a quantitative study with a population of all class VII SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Kebomas, namely as many as 57 students, a sample of 30 respondents was taken utilizing corresponding arbitrary inspecting strategy. Information assortment procedures are by survey and test. Information examination method utilizing various direct relapse investigation. In light of the aftereffects of the relapse test, the results show that: 1) There is a significant influence of cognitive style and interest in learning simultaneously on the understanding of mathematical concepts. 2) There is a significant influence of cognitive style on the understanding of mathematical concepts. 3) There is a massive impact of interest in learning on the understanding of mathematical concepts. Based on data analysis, it can be interpreted that field dependent-field independent cognitive style and interest in learning partially or simultaneously have a significant effect on the understanding of mathematical concepts.

The purpose of this research is to evaluate learners' numeracy knowledge. This study looked into how university students were taught math skills. The research strategy used in this investigation was quantitative. Rasch Model study was used for the data study. The first research question's goal was to assess the numeracy exams' item difficulty characteristics using the Rasch Measurement Model, and The second research topic's goal was to look into the student's numeracy test performance parameters. According to the study, performing a range of calculations to add, subtract, and multiply as well as calculating and interpreting mean in a variety of contexts were the skills that students found the most difficult to master. The pupils perform exceptionally well when they identify and contrast information and data in tables. The outcome makes it possible to pinpoint each examinee's testing assets and weaknesses; this diagnostic should be applied to raise students' numeracy standards. The level of numeracy can be improved using two important methods. Teaching strategy: Math instructors should adapt their course materials to the students' learning styles

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah kontekstual merupakan kemampuan yang perlu dikembangkan dalam menghadapi kehidupan nyata. Salah satu faktor internal yang perlu diperhatikan adalah kemampuan inisiatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan inisiatif peserta didik SMP dalam memecahkan masalah kontekstual pada pembelajaran matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 32 peserta didik kelas VII C SMP Negeri 34 Gresik Semester Genap Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar tes dan angket. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini yaitu tes dan penyebaran angket. Peserta didik mengerjakan tes dalam bentuk essai yang berisi dua soal kontekstual materi aljabar, dan angket yang berisi 15 item pernyataan. Kemudian, data akan dianalisis dengan menghitung persentase pada setiap indikatornya serta menggolongkan subjek penelitian kedalam kategori yang ditentukan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan inisiatif peserta didik kelas VII SMP tergolong tinggi dengan persentase 67%, meskipun kemampuan inisiatifnya tergolong tinggi tetapi kemampuan pemecahan masalah kontekstual mereka tergolong sedang dengan persentase 45%. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada analisis disetiap indikatornya yaitu peserta didik masih kurang pada indikator keterampilan berpikir luwes dalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah kontekstual, dan lebih banyak pada indikator berani mengambil risiko dalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah kontekstual. Contextual problem-solving skills are skills that need to be developed in dealing with real life. One of the internal factors to consider is the ability to take initiative. This study aims to describe the ability of junior high school students' initiative in solving contextual problems in mathematics learning. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were 32 students of class VII C SMP Negeri 34 Gresik in the Even Semester of the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The instruments used are test sheets and questionnaires. The method of collecting this research data is testing and distributing questionnaires. Students take the test in the form of an essay containing two contextual questions of algebra material, and a questionnaire containing 15 statement items. Then, the data will be analyzed by calculating the percentage on each indicator and classifying the research subjects into specified categories. The results of this study showed that the initiative ability of grade VII junior high school students was high with a percentage of 67%, although their initiative ability was high, their contextual problem solving ability was classified as medium with a percentage of 45%. This can be seen in the analysis of each indicator, namely students are still lacking in indicators of flexible thinking skills in contextual problem solving abilities, and more in indicators of daring to take risks in contextual problem solving abilities.

Collaboration and student-centred learning must be made into a culture in the learning process. Lesson study activities are movements that can facilitate this so that lesson study needs to be known in the school environment, especially teachers and students. Based on these problems, it is essential to carry out a model for developing the teaching profession by implementing lesson study. The method used in carrying out this activity is the method of discussion, mentoring and direct practice in class. The results of this activity are: 1) Improving the ability of teachers to develop learning tools that emphasize students' 4C (Critical Thinking, Creative, Communicative and Collaborative) abilities. 2) Improving teachers' abilities in developing IT-based learning media, 3) Improving the teacher's ability to manage learning in the classroom so that learning is no longer conventional, students actively discuss and work on assignments in collaboration. This activity was carried out at a junior high school in Gresik and was carried out according to the set targets. This activity impacts math teachers so that they can understand the concept of lesson study and practice the designs that have been designed in the Open Class activities. Activities are carried out to improve the quality of the learning process and the school. All teachers participating in the assistance can apply Lesson Study so that it is targeted to encourage increased learning and students' abilities in mathematics

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan rancangan dan mengimplementasikan hasil rancangan pengembangan modul pada siswa kelas VII di MTS Tarbiyatut Tholibin. Untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap e-modul berbasis moodle. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap e-modul berbasis moodle diperoleh dengan metode angket. subjek pada penetian ini sebanyak 20 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul efektif digunakan karena hasil validasi oleh ahli materi sebanyak 98,4%, ahli media 90% dan keefektifan memperoleh 85,5%. Penelitian ini diharap dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam penggunaan e-modul berbasis moodle dengan pendekatan ICARE.

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Metode penelitiaan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Quasi Eksperimental. Bentuk quasi yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group desing. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII-A dan VII-B di MTs. An-Nuriyah. Kelas VII-A menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing (eksperimen) sedangkan kelas VII-B menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional (kontrol). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen (inkuiri terbimbing) lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol (pembelajaran konvensional). Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata hasil tes pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen adalah 83,67 sedangkan rata-rata hasil tes pada kelas kontrol adalah 60,67. Begitu juga dengan hasil analisis data menggunakan uji-t dua sample independen yang menunjukkan nilai sig maka dapat disimpulkan ditolak yang artinya ada perbedaan pemahaman konsep peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik.

This research is motivated by the importance of concept understanding skills that must be possessed by every student. Concept understanding ability is a basic ability that must be possessed by every student because in learning mathematics to be able to proceed to new material students must understand the concept first. One of the factors that affect concept understanding ability is mathematical anxiety. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the concept understanding ability of vocational students in terms of mathematical anxiety. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 4 Sangkapura, with the research population being class X students with a total of 13 students in the 2023/2024 even semester. The data collection methods used were mathematical anxiety questionnaire, concept understanding ability test and interview. The questionnaire results were used to group students into categories of low, medium and high levels of mathematical anxiety, then select 3 students as research subjects. The results of the concept understanding ability test and interviews were then analyzed based on the level of mathematical anxiety. The results showed that students with low levels of mathematical anxiety were able to fulfill all indicators 1 to 6, then students with moderate levels of mathematical anxiety were able to fulfill 5 indicators, namely indicators 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6. While students with high levels of mathematical anxiety were only able to fulfill 2 indicators, namely indicators 1 and 2.

The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the types of students' misconceptions on the geometry material of the quadrilateral sub-material. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The research subjects were students of class VII SMPN 5 Lamongan as many as 120 students. The research instrument used was a three-tier multiple choice diagnostic test sheet. The result of the research is that 56.2% of students have misconceptions about the quadrilateral material, including the category of moderate misconceptions. From these misconceptions, the types of misconceptions are grouped into classificational misconceptions by 15%, correlational misconceptions by 19.1%, and theoretical misconceptions by 22.1%.

Learning at MI Nurul Huda Lengkong is still centered on educators which has an impact on student learning outcomes because students rarely solve problems independently. There needs to be an improvement in learning models to improve student learning outcomes. The learning model that can create an atmosphere of students who are free, creative, and independent in accordance with their abilities is the problem posing learning model. Problem posing is a learning model that requires students to compile questions or break down a problem into simpler questions and refer to solving the problem. The purpose of this model is to create a more interactive learning atmosphere and improve student learning outcomes. This research is quantitative correlational research. To find the influence between problem posing learning models on research learning outcomes using this type of experiment, by comparing the learning outcomes of problem posing and conventional learning. From the research that has been done, the average posttest score of the control class was 58.25 from 8 students and the experimental class was 81.625 from 8 students. This indicates that the problem posing learning model has an influence on improving the learning outcomes of grade 5 MI Nurul Huda Lengkong students.
