Abstract

The implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Indonesia has attracted significant interest and research in the field of education. The Independent Curriculum which aims to provide independent and flexible learning has been the subject of various studies that focus on its implementation, impact, and relevance in the education system. In the implementation of Lesson Study also uses other approaches, one approach that can be done by implementing the capacity and needs of student interests is using the TaRL (Teaching at The Right Level) approach. This study has a problem formulation about the study of the ability of prospective professional teachers in implementing lesson study with the Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) approach at the vocational high school level. The purpose of this study is to explore the ability of prospective professional teachers in designing, implementing and reflecting on the learning carried out. This study uses a descriptive method because the researcher is analyzing the problems that are occurring in learning, while the approach uses a qualitative approach. A qualitative research approach is an approach that does not use a statistical work basis, but is based on qualitative evidence. In this study, the researcher found that the ability of prospective vocational high school teachers in designing learning was in the good category, as well as the ability of prospective teachers in implementing learning was in the good category. This is supported by the finding that the ability of prospective teachers is not yet optimal when designing LKPD, learning media, and teaching materials that are integrated/synchronous in learning. In addition, the ability to design LKPD that brings up numeracy literacy as part of the motivation to carry out student-centered mathematics learning has not been seen

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menghasilkan produk lembar kerja peserta didik elektronik (E-LKPD) berbasis etnomatematika menggunakan aplikasi anyflip materi segiempat dan segitiga yang memperoleh kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan sehingga layak digunakan oleh peserta didik. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model four-D yang terdiri dari tahap define, design, development, dan disseminate. Untuk mengukur E-LKPD sehingga layak digunakan yaitu menggunakan instrumen lembar tes wawancara untuk pendidik dan peserta didik, lembar validasi ahli untuk mengukur kevalidan produk, tes hasil belajar peserta didik untuk mengukur keefektifan produk, dan angket respon peserta didik untuk mengukur kepraktisan produk. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian dan pengembangan yaitu memperoleh persentase kevalidan sebesar kepraktisan sebesar , dan keefektifan sebesar . Oleh karena itu pengembangan E-LKPD berbasis etnomatematika menggunakan aplikasi anyflip mempunyai kualitas yang baik dan layak sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan oleh peserta didik kelas VII sebagai pendamping belajar dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Minat merupakan alat motivasi yang utama yang dapat membangkitkan kegairahan belajar peserta didik dalam rentang waktu tertentu. Mayoritas peserta didik memiliki minat belajar yang masih tergolong rendah, terutama pada pembelajaran Matematika. Hal ini nampak dari hasil pengamatan peneliti dimana pada saat kegiatan pembelajaran banyak peserta didik hanya sekedar mengikuti pelajaran sebagai kewajiban tanpa menaruh minat di dalamnya. Salah satu penyebab rendahnya minat belajar ada pada metode pembelajaran yang kurang tepat. Metode pembelajaran yang dapat dicoba untuk meningkatkan minat belajar salah satunya melalui pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan minat belajar peserta didik melalui pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada pembelajaran matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 2 Kencong pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII A yang berjumlah 30 orang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi pembelajaran untuk melihat minat belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini akan berhenti jika terdapat peningkatan terhadap minat belajar peserta didik minimal dalam kategori tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan minat belajar peserta didik mencapai kategori tinggi pada siklus kedua sebesar 76%. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi mampu meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Matematika.

Abstract

The research objective is to develop an evaluation tool two tier multiple choice using the wondershare quiz creator to identify students mathematical connection capabilities. The research model uses ADDIE. The test subjects in the study were class VII-D of Islamic Qon Middle School. The research instruments used were interview sheets, validation sheets, test instruments, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques were carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. The results are: (1) the evaluation tool is feasible because it meets 2 valid and effective criteria. Valid criteria based on the assessment of media experts 94% (very feasible), and 80% material experts (feasible). Effective criteria are seen from the response of students and the quality of the items. The results of the students' responses were 82% (very interesting). While the quality of the items, the validity test contained 1 invalid question. Reliability test, there is 1 unreliable question. The difficulty level test has 7 moderate questions, 3 easy questions, and there are no difficult questions. The distinguishing power test contained 2 very good questions, 6 good questions, 2 enough questions, and not in the bad category. There were 11 distractors at the first level and 6 at the second level who were selected from all students. (2) The percentage of mathematical connections is very high 39.3%, high percentage 46.4%, moderate percentage 3.6%, low percentage 3.6%, and very low percentage 7.1%.

Abstract

Creating a learning environment that supports students' understanding is an important notion in mathematics education (Carpenter & Lehrer, 1999). In this case, it is necessary to have a flow in the learning process. Learning trajectory will help teachers apply models, teaching material strategies and appropriate assessments according to students' thinking stages. The flow of student learning in the development of symbols and their meaning in mathematics can be done through technology and information (Bakker et al., 2003). The purpose of this study is to analyze the understanding of mathematical concepts in high school students using the Pirie-Kieren theory lens. Based on the results of the analysis of student worksheets for groups with visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles, they have fulfilled the layer of Piere-Kieren understanding up to the stage/organizing layer. Abstract

This research is a correlational study with a quantitative approach which aims to determine the influence of self-efficacy on the self-regulated learning and mathematical communication abilities of class VII middle school students. The data analysis used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS 23. The results of this research show that: (1) There is a positive and significant influence between self-efficacy and student self-regulated learning and C.R. scores. 6.942≥1.967 with a significance level of 0.000≤0.05. (2) There is an influence between self-efficacy and students' mathematical communication skills and C.R. scores. amounting to 2,851≥1,967 with a significance level of 0.004≤0.05. (2) There is a positive and significant influence between self-regulated learning and students' mathematical communication skills and C.R. scores. amounting to 2,752≥1,967 with a significance level of 0.006≤0.05. (4) Because all variables directly influence each other, this research did not find any intervening variables or intermediary variables.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Gresik tergolong rendah berdasarkan hasil asesmen internal dan survei PISA. Salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah kurangnya kolaborasi antar-guru dalam pengembangan pembelajaran. Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran inovatif berbasis literasi-numerasi melalui Lesson Study for Learning Community (LSLC). Metode yang digunakan adalah Assest Based Community Development (5 tahap: Discovery, Dream, Design, Define, Destiny) dengan melibatkan 21 guru dan 184 siswa dari 4 jurusan di SMK mitra. Kegiatan Open Class dilaksanakan oleh 4(empat) guru model pada mata pelajaran matematika, kimia, Pendidikan Agama dan Budi Pekerti serta Dasar-dasar Program Keahlian. Hasil pelatihan dan pendampingan menunjukkan dampak utama berupa peningkatan keterampilan pedagogis guru serta penguatan budaya refleksi kolektif.  Guru berpartisipasi aktif menyusun perangkat ajar kolaboratif berbasis literasi dan numerasi serta menggunakan metode-metode pembelajaran inovatif. Selain itu, terbentuk komunitas belajar guru di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Gresik. Program ini sejalan dengan kebijakan Merdeka Belajar dan mendukung Indikator Kinerja Utama (IKU) pendidikan tinggi serta berkontribusi aktif pada pengembangan pendidikan vokasi untuk generasi yang lebih baik.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students’ mathematical critical thinking skills in terms of their learning styles based on the VARK model (Visual, Auditory, Reading/Writing, and Kinesthetic). The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving four seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 9 Gresik, each representing one type of learning style. Data were collected through a learning style questionnaire, a mathematical critical thinking test based on Facione’s indicators, and in-depth interviews to strengthen the analysis. The results revealed that each learning style demonstrates distinct characteristics of critical thinking. Visual learners excelled in interpretation and self-regulation, auditory learners performed well in evaluation and verbal explanation, reading/writing learners showed strength in analysis and written reasoning, while kinesthetic learners were better in concrete activities but weaker in evaluation and inference. Overall, interpretation and analysis indicators were more dominant than evaluation and inference. These findings highlight the importance of implementing differentiated instruction aligned with students’ learning styles to foster optimal and comprehensive development of mathematical critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Komponen penting dari pengajaran matematika yang efektif adalah secara aktif mengatasi kesalahan siswa. Pendekatan pedagogis ini memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Studi ini menyelidiki cara guru di dua kelas mata pelajaran matematika sekolah menengah dalam memberikan kesempatan bagi siswa untuk mengembangkan identitas mereka, berdasarkan cara guru membahas dan terlibat dengan kesalahan siswa. Data dikumpulkan selama enam bulan melalui rekaman pembelajaran, catatan lapangan, dan wawancara dengan guru dan siswa. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi dua perspektif tentang bagaimana guru menangani kesalahan: persepsi bahwa kesalahan dapat menyebar, dan persepsi bahwa kesalahan dapat berfungsi sebagai peluang belajar yang berharga. Pendekatan guru untuk membahas dan menangani kesalahan dipengaruhi oleh perspektif mereka tentang siswa dan pemikiran logis mereka dalam matematika, yang mempengaruhi identitas yang mereka tunjukkan kepada siswa. Kami menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa tentang metode pengolahan kesalahan oleh guru mereka mempengaruhi hubungan mereka dengan matematika. Namun, siswa itu sendiri juga berkontribusi pada pengembangan identitas matematika mereka.Actively addressing student mistakes is an important component of effective mathematics instruction. This pedagogical approach plays an important role in increasing student involvement. The study investigates how teachers in two classes of high school mathematics subjects create opportunities for students to develop their identity as students based on how teaching discusses and engages with student mistakes. We collected the data over six months using learning recordings, field records, and interviews with both teachers and students. This research explores two perspectives on how teachers deal with mistakes: the view that mistakes can spread and the view that mistakes may serve as valuable learning opportunities. The perspectives of students and their logical thinking in mathematics influence the teacher's approach to discussing and dealing with errors, shaping the identity they portray to students. We showed that students' perceptions of the methods of processing their teacher's errors influenced their relationship with mathematics. However, the students themselves also contributed to the development of their mathematical identity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Learning Manajement System berbasis Moodle dengan model pembelajaran ICARE pada materi aritmetika sosial. Pengembangan System ini dilakukan untuk membantu siswa pada pembelajaran aritmetika sosial agar lebih efektif. Penelitian ibi terdapat 3 kriteria kelayakan dalam pengembangan ini yaitu valid,efektif dan praktis. Penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4D (define, design, develop, disseminate) adalah metode yang digunakan. Pada proses pengembangan ini menggunakan lembar validasi ahli sebagai tolak ukur kevalidan. Menggunakan kuisioner respon peserta didik sebagai tolak ukur keefektifan dan tes hasil belajar sebagai tolak ukur kepraktisan. Subjek pada penelitian ini sebanyak 15 peserta didik kelas VII B Mts Tarbiyatus Shibyan Petung, siswa mempelajari materi yang sudah dikemas dalam Moodle, lalu siswa mengerjakan soal yang sudah disediakan dan dipelajari setelah itu diberikan kuisioner sebagai tolak ukur kefektifan Learning Manajement System dan hasil belajar peserta didik sebagai tolak ukur kepraktisan Learning Manajement System. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kevalidan Learning Manajement System berdasarkan validasi ahli materi sebanyak (87,3%) dan validasi ahli media sebanyak (90%), keefetifan memperoleh hasil (83,1%) serta kepraktisan memperoleh hasil (93,47%). Penelitian ini diharap dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pengembangan Learning Manajement System berbasis Moodle model pembelajaran ICARE pada materi aritmetika sosial.
