Abstract

Mesin diesel terdiri dari berbagai komponen yang kerjanya saling terkait satu sama lainnya salah satunya sistem pengisian. sistem pengisian terdiri dari beberapa komponen. Komponen-komponen sistem pengisian tersebut diantaranya Baterai, sebagai sumber arus dan media penyimpanan arus pengisian, Kunci Kontak, sebagai pemutus dan penghubung arus dari baterai ke regulator, Alternator sebagai pembangkit arus dan IC Regulator untuk mengatur output yang dihasilkan Alternator. Dalam laporan tugas akhir ini diperlukan identifikasi dan troubleshooting guna untuk mengetahui apa saja permasalahan yang sering pada sistem pengisian mesin diesel mitsubishi PS 100 ini. Berdasarkan Hasil dari tugas akhir tersebut baterai maupun alternator dalam kondisi baik, baik itu dari komponen dan fungsinya namun ada komponen yang harus diganti yaitu sikat/brush karena sikat tersebut lepas antara kawat tembaga dengan karbonnya.Kata Kunci : Sistem Pengisian, Alternator, Ic Regulator.

Abstract

Spark plug is a spare part that is installed on an internal combustion engine with an electrode tip in the combustion chamber. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the use of standard spark plugs, iridium spark plugs, platinum spark plugs, and racing spark plugs has on fuel consumption on Honda motorcycles. Scoopy. The method used in this research is the experimental method or direct experiments. Turn on the motorbike, then walk for a distance of 60 Km, with an average speed of 50 to 80 Km which is in accordance with what was determined in the study. By doing the no-load test 2 times in each experiment to be tested. Research results Iridium spark plugs (Denso IU27) in 1 liter of fuel can cover a distance of 50.42 km/l, fuel consumption of platinum spark plugs (CPR6EAGP-9) in 1 liter of fuel can cover a distance of 55.04 km/l, while consumption Busi Racing fuel (TDR 071) in 1 liter can cover a distance of 47.61 Km/L, so this study shows that using Platinum Spark Plugs can reduce fuel consumption.Keywords : Spark Plugs, Fuel Consumptio

Abstract

One of the efforts to reduce exhaust emissions in vehicles is by adding addictive substances to premium fuels, one of the addictive substances in fuel mixing is ethanol. Ethanol is a high-octane fuel and can be used to increase the octane rating in fuel, which comes from sugary plants (sucrose) such as sugar cane, palm juice, coconut juice, etc., starchy plants (flour) cassava, sweet potato, sago, corn, etc. , and cellulose (legnocellulose) plants of wood, straw, and banana stems. Because the content of ethanol has many benefits, including increasing engine performance, saving fuel use, cleaning the combustion chamber, and being able to reduce exhaust emissions, this is because in the ethanol content there is oxygen which helps combustion in the combustion chamber more completely. This study aims to reduce the value of CO and HC concentrations and increase CO . emission levels2 on motorized vehicles. This test is carried out by adding the percentage of ethanol mixture that is 15%, 30%, 45% in premium fuel with engine speed variations of 2000, 2500, 3000, 3500, and 4000 rpm. the average decrease is significant from 2000-4000 engine speed, but the largest decrease occurred at 2000 rpm for the E30% of 2.15%, namely from 4.28% to 2.13%. While the concentration of HC emissions from 2000-4000 rpm decreased, the most decreased occurred at 4000 rpm for E30%, which was 270 ppm to 149 ppm.Keywords : ethanol, exhaust emissions

Abstract

Motor vehicles used to support human life have a negative effect on air quality. Motor vehicle exhaust contains hazardous substances, including carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC). Therefore, several kinds of additives emerged to reduce vehicle exhaust emissions, these additives include Eco Racing and Salvis Fuel Additive. In this study, the author tries to examine how the effect of the use of the two additives is to reduce CO and HC gas levels in motor vehicles and compare the test results of the two additives. The test was carried out in three stages, namely testing with 100% pure pertalite fuel, pertalite with a mixture of Eco Racing 1 grain and pertalite with a mixture of Salvis Fuel Additive 1 ml with variations in rotation of 1500 rpm, 2000 rpm, 2500 rpm, 3000 rpm, 3500 rpm, 4000 rpm, 4500 rpm and 5000 rpm. The test is carried out 3 times at each engine speed for maximum results.The results of the test show that the mixture of pertalite with Eco Racing 1 grain is the best in reducing CO and HC gas levels, which is 0.63% for CO levels at 3500 rpm and 37 ppm for HC levels at 3500 rpm.Keywords : Exhaust Emissions, Eco Racing, Salvis Fuel Additive

Abstract

Motorcycles must be equipped with a system that is able to bridge the engine output (engine power and torque) with the demands of road conditions, the sprocket is the last part of the power transfer system, because the sprocket is the part that transmits the engine power to the rear wheels through the chain. In previous studies, the average sprocket size variation with teeth larger or smaller is 2 to 4 teeth from the standard sprocket, while the research that will be carried out is using variations in the number of teeth based on the assumptions of friends who use Yamaha motorcycles. Byson 150 cc, because it is based on the assumptions of different users. The purpose of this final project is to determine the effect of sprocket size variations of 14-40 T, 14-44 T and 15-44 T on power and torque on a 150 cc Yamaha Byson motorcycle. This final project was carried out using the data collection method from the dynotest test, using a dynometer. The test results with variations of sprocket gear sizes 14-40 T, 14-44 T and 15-44 T, produce the most optimal power and torque on sprocket gear sizes 15-44 T with a maximum power of 12.8 HP at 7000 RPM and a torque of 14.81 Nm at 4750 RPM this power achievement is due to the difference in ratios that can make the motorcycle accelerate faster, but produce a slightly slower top speed than the standard.Keywords: Sprocket, Power and Torqu

Abstract

Brakes are an important element in a vehicle that serves to reduce and stop the vehicle, allow the vehicle to park in an uneven place and a tool that ensures the safety and security of the driver. One of the important components of the brake system is the brake lining. People are often confused in choosing brake pads. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of local product brake lining grades, genuine parts, and racing on the braking distance and time and which brake lining is better to use. This test was carried out by testing the front brake braking on a flat and straight road on a Honda Sonic 150r with a brake lever pressure of 3 kg at every speed of 30km/hour, 40km/hour, 50km/hour, and 60km/hour by testing 3 times on each canvas. brakes and speed. Abstract

From various sources of problems regarding the performance of the Honda Tiger motorcycle engine when using the standard lining and clutch plate, the engine performance is less powerful, while various sources suggest that the best performance is produced from the Honda Tiger engine by using components such as the canvas and clutch plate of the Honda GL 100 motorcycle. The objective to be achieved in this final project is to determine the difference in power and torque produced by the engine using standard honda tiger pads and clutch plates and honda gl 100 clutch plates and plates, this final project was carried out using the test data collection method from daynote , using a dynamometer. The results of the best engine performance testing on the use of the Honda gl 100 pad and clutch plate on the Honda Tiger engine, produced a maximum power value of 16.0 HP at 7250 RPM engine speed and also produced a maximum torque value of 17.32 Nm at 5250 RPM engine speed, This is because of the influence of the difference in the clutch plate of the Honda GL 100 which is circular in shape with dots so that the grip on the clutch lining becomes tighter and makes the performance of power and torque better.Keywords : Canvas, Clutch Plate, Power, Torqu

Abstract

Currently, there are many aftermarket products that sell various brands of discs of various sizes, which are thought to affect the braking parameters, namely the braking time and distance. One of the things that people often do is modify the size of the disc from a standard size to a larger or smaller size, so that the vehicle can be maximal in braking. Because the braking area is made farther from the center axle of the wheel, the effect is that the brakes can grip the disc more tightly. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of disc size on distance and braking time and which disc size is better to use. This test was carried out by testing the front brake braking on a flat and straight road on a Yamaha mio using discs measuring 190mm, 200mm, 220mm at each speed of 40km/h, 50km/h, 60km/h by testing 3 times on each disc. discs and speed. Abstract

The case of motorcycle theft is not a new or common thing in the ears of the public and the world of the Indonesian National Police or the Indonesian National Police. Motorcycle theft cases can happen at any time. In accordance with the regulations of the Indonesian National Police as stated in Article 18 Paragraph 1 of Law no. 14 of 1992 which reads "Every driver of a motorized vehicle is required to have a driving license." In Indonesia, many minors are not yet ready to ride a motorcycle and do not have a driver's license (SIM). To anticipate the breaking of ignition keys by unscrupulous motorcycle thieves, and comply with the rules from the Police in accordance with Article 18 Paragraph 1 of Law no. 14 Years Old, a motorcycle security system was designed using an e-SIM based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). The Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) key also uses an e-SIM and ID tag card as an identity card or identification when trying to turn on or turn off a motorcycle engine. The performance of this card is also supported by the Arduino Nano Microcontroller and Relay. In designing this tool, we connect the cables according to the existing circuit in the security module (Design Tool consisting of Arduino Nano hardware, RFID reader, relay and I/O/I switch) with a skun cable with input and output switches on the motorcycles so that during assembly or experimentation they can be directly connected to the ignition, starter and brake switches to connect the tools designed with automatic motorcycles. Abstract

In testing the effect of using altitude mode 2 and mode 3 Beat Fi motorcycles at an altitude of 0-1000 MDPL on exhaust emissions, this study uses descriptive data analysis methods. The results of the HC test in Mode 1 get the highest results at RPM 3000, which is 481 ppm, while the lowest results at RPM 1000 are 229 ppm. In Mode 2, the highest result is obtained at RPM 3000, which is 1074 ppm, while the lowest result is at RPM 1500, which is 349 ppm. In Mode 3, the highest result is obtained at RPM 2500, which is 1052 ppm while the lowest result is at RPM 1500, which is 468 ppm, while in CO testing in Mode 1, the highest result is obtained at RPM 3000, which is 5.27%, while the lowest result is at RPM 1000, which is 1, 04%. In Mode 2, the highest result is obtained at RPM 3000, which is 6.71%, while the lowest result is at RPM 1000, which is 2.37%. In Mode 3, the highest result is obtained at RPM 3000, which is 8.16%, while the lowest result is at RPM 1500, which is 2.96. From this explanation, it can be concluded that the effect of using mode 2 and mode 3 at an altitude of 0 - 1000 MDPL in mode 2 is that the higher the rpm, the higher the HC and CO levels, while in the higher rpm mode, the HC and CO levels decrease at 3000 rpm.Keywords: Altitude Mode, Exhaust Emissions
