Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of adding additives to reducing exhaust emissions on a Suzuki Satria 150 FU Motorcycle in 2010 with fuel. This research used a Suzuki Satria 150 FU motorcycle in 2010. The research method used in this study is the method experiment by using tables and graphs to process the data, By using the Gas Analyzer emission test tool to measure exhaust gas emissions of HC, and CO. The results of the research mixing pertalite fuel with the addition of salvis fuel additive and Eco Racing, pertalite fuel using salvis fuel additive in the amount of 1 ml per liter and 1 Eco Racing per liter at engine speed 1. Abstract

Basically any engine that undergoes a combustion system to produce power allows for exhaust emissions. Exhaust gas emissions are the residue from the combustion of fuel (gasoline) and air in the combustion engine which is released through the engine exhaust system. Therefore, one of the efforts to reduce exhaust gas levels is to innovate to create a more perfect ignition system. This study aims to determine how the effect of the comparison of the ignition system Contact point, TCI and Full Transistor on the resulting exhaust emissions. The test was carried out using a gas analyzer on a Mitsubishi L300 gasoline with engine speed variations of 700 rpm, 1000 rpm, 2000 rpm and 3000 rpm to determine the concentration values of CO and HC. Based on the test results, it was found that the use of the TCI ignition system resulted in the lowest concentration reduction, namely at 3000 rpm engine speed with 1.43% CO levels and 115 ppm HC.Keywords: Contact point, TCI, Full transistor, Exhaust Emission

Abstract

From various sources of problems with the Honda Megapro motorcycle engine when using the original Honda Megapro clutch, many say that the engine performance is not optimal, and from several sources suggest that to overcome these problems one of them is to replace the clutch using a Tossa 200 clutch. will try to replace the Honda Megapro clutch with a Tossa 200 clutch to prove the story among motorcycle children who tells that replacing a Honda Megparo clutch with a Tossa 200 clutch can affect engine performance, namely power and torque, the purpose of this study is to determine the difference between power and torque before and after After using the coupling, this test method is carried out using a dynotest tool for data collection. The power and torque produced on the Honda Megapro engine using the Megapro clutch is a maximum power of 19.2 hp with an engine speed of 10250 rpm and a maximum torque of 15.42 Nm at 6500 rpm while using the Tossa 200 clutch produces a maximum power of 21.8 The hp at the engine speed of 10750 Rpm and the maximum torque of 15.96 Nm at the engine speed of 9500 Rpm, the increase in power and torque in the Tossa 200 clutch is due to the components in the Tossa 200 clutch having 6 clutch pads, 6 clutch springs and 5 clutch plates so that the clutch is gripped. the clutch becomes stronger and minimizes the occurrence of slippage so that the clutch works optimally.Keywords: Tossa 200 clutch, Honda Megapro clutch, power, torque, daynote

Abstract

installation of Groundstrap on spark plug wires as grounding spark plug wires so that the fire voltage from the coil will focus on the spark plugs. The increase in power and torque occurs because the groundstrap is a type of Ignition Booster whose function is to stabilize the electric current produced by the coil so that the spark plugs can be bigger and more stable, remove stray frequencies or indeterminate voltages from the coil, focus and narrow the current, so that it becomes a firing point towards the spark plug for use as a combustion flame. A steady current produces a good fire, so that the combustion explosion is complete. The method used in this study is the experimental method (direct trial) by making a Groundstrap circuit to determine power and torque in a motorcycle gasoline engine using a Dynotest tool for adding Groundstrap to spark plug wires. In this study using copper wire with a diameter of 0.6 mm and there were 3 variables for the number of turns of the groundstrap wire, namely 60 turns, 90 turns, and 120 turns. In 2008 there was an increase in general, the maximum power and torque yields for standard conditions were 8.3 HP and 8.79 NM, the test on winding 120 experienced the most significant increase of 1.7 HP from standard conditions to 10.0 HP and the torque reaches 3.95 NM from standard conditions to 12.74 NM Keywords: Groundstrap, Copper Wire Coil, Power and Torque

Abstract

ABSTRACT When electricity flows through the spark plug wire, an electromagnetic field occurs which will cause damage to the sparks at the tip of the spark plug electrode in the form of a decrease in the peak of combustion. One way to overcome this problem is to stabilize the electric current generated by the coil by using an ignition booster. There are various types of Ignition Booster, one of which is Groundstrap. Groundstrap is one type of Ignition Booster whose function is to stabilize the electric current generated by the coil so that the spark plug can be bigger and more stable. The purpose of this research is to find out which of the three research variables adding the Groundstrap has the best effect on power and torque on a new Honda motorcycle. mega pro 150 cc in 2013. In this study, power and torque were tested with the addition of three variables of Groundstrap wire diameter, namely 0.4 mm, 0.6 mm, and 0.8 mm, with the same number of turns, namely 50 turns. then tested using the Dynotest tool. From the results of tests that have been carried out on three Groundstrap variables, that there is an effect of adding Groundstrap to power and torque, then the best research results are when using the Groundstrap variable diameter of 0.8 mm with the results of the research that at 8500 RPM engine speed produces a power of 0.8 mm. 13.7 HP, and at 6000 RPM engine speed produces a torque of 13.73 Nm. Abstract

Abstract The combustion of fuel inside the combustion chamber takes place as an explosion. This process occurs very quickly and makes a very loud or noisy sound. The function of the muffler is as a silencer and regulates the flow direction of combustion gases to flow regularly. The construction of the free flow exhaust is an exhaust without barriers with relatively wasteful fuel consumption, both working on engines with high revs. Previous researchers replaced the exhaust with a size of tenths of a centimeter of a meter, while in this final project used a fifth of a centimeter. The goal to be achieved by the author in writing this final project is to find out the use of free flow exhaust on power and torque on Yamaha Byson 150cc motorcycles. This final project is carried out by the method of taking test data from the dynotest, using the dynotester tool. The test results are the influence of free flow exhaust measuring 25 cm, 30 cm and standard exhaust, resulting in the most optimal increase in power and torque on a 30 cm free flow exhaust with maximum power data of 13.1 HP at 6750 RPM, and maximum torque reaching 15.35 Nm at 4500 RPM, this is due to the influence of silencer length and without any obstacles, namely the catalic converter which makes the vehicle's breath longer so that it can get peak power at engine speed higher ones. Keywords: α-amylase enzyme; Fennel leaves; Decrease in glucose Abstrak A Pembakaran bahan bakar di dalam ruang bakar berlangsung sebagai ledakan. Proses ini terjadi sangat cepat dan menimbulkan suara yang sangat keras atau bising. Fungsi dari knalpot (muffler) adalah sebagai peredam suara dan mengatur arah aliran gas-gas hasil pembakaran agar mengalir dengan teratur. Konstruksi dari knalpot free flow yaitu knalpot tanpa sekat hambatan dengan konsumsi bahan bakar yang relatif boros, baik bekerja pada mesin dengan putaran tinggi. Peneliti terdahulu mengganti knalpot dengan ukuran persepuluh senti meter, sedangkan dalam tugas akhir ini menggunakan perlima sentimeter. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai oleh penulis pada penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan knalpot free flow terhadap daya dan torsi pada sepeda motor Yamaha Byson 150cc. Tugas akhir ini dilakukan dengan metode pengambilan data uji dari dynotest, menggunakan alat dynotester. Hasil pengujian yaitu pengaruh knalpot free flow ukuran 25 cm, 30 cm dan knalpot standar, menghasilkan peningkatan daya dan torsi paling optimal pada knalpot free flow ukuran 30 cm dengan data daya maksimum sebesar 13,1 HP pada 6750 RPM, dan torsi maksimum mencapai 15,35 Nm pada 4500 RPM, hal ini karena pengaruh panjang silencer dan tanpa adanya hambatan yaitu catalic converter yang membuat nafas kendaraan lebih panjang sehingga mampu mendapatkan puncak daya pada putaran mesin yang lebih tinggi.. Abstract

Pengelasan merupakan penyambungan dua bahan logam yang didasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip proses difusi, sehingga terjadi penyatuan bagian bahan yang disambung. Kelebihan sambungan las adalah konstruksi ringan, dapat menahan kekuatan yang tinggi, mudah pelaksanaannya, serta cukup ekonomis. Namun kelemahan yang paling utama adalah terjadinya perubahan struktur mikro bahan yang dilas, sehingga terjadi perubahan sifat fisik maupun mekanis dari bahan yang dilas. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Sifat mekanis pada Baja ST 60 dengan Proses pengelasan MIG dengan kuat arus 70 dan 80 Ampere yang sering dilakukan pada bengkel-bengkel. Sifat mekanis yang diteliti adalah kekerasan dan kekuatan tarik dengan acuan pengukuran dengan Rockwell untuk uji kekerasan dan N/mm2 untuk kekuatan tarik. Dari hasil pengambilan data di peroleh bahwa dengan pengelasan arus 70 A, diperoleh hasil pengujian paling baik dengan hardness Rockwell 24,67. Dan pada pengujian arus 80 A diperoleh hasil pengujian paling baik adalah 28,67. Pada uji tarik diperoleh data untuk arus 70 A, diperoleh kekuatan tarik 280 N/mm2. Dan untuk arus 80 A diperoleh kekuatan tarik 341 N/mm2.

Abstract

Bahan bakar fosil saat ini keberadaannya semakin langka, dan diperlukan langkah-langkah pencarian bahan bakar alternatif yang layak untuk menggantikan bahan bakar minyak, terutama bensin, yang kebutuhannya sangat banyak untuk kendaraan bermotor. Salah satu bahan bakar alternatif pengganti bensin adalah bioetanol. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana performa mesin yang paling optimal dengan menggunakan bahan bakar campuran bioetanol dari bahan baku singkong. Pengujian ini menggunakan metode experimen dengan menguji pengaruh campuran pertalite-bioetanol terhadap performa mesin dan memakai alat uji dynotest. Dari hasil pengujian daya maksimal yang dicapai oleh mesin sebesar 7,47 HP dengan menggunakan bahan bakar BE 30% sedangkan pengujian pada torsi maksimal yang dicapai oleh mesin sebesar 6,20 Nm dengan menggunakan bahan bakar pertalite 100%. Dilihat secara grafik dengan variasi bahan bakar yang berbeda daya maksimum semakin meningkat seiring jumlah kadar bioetanol dalam campuran bahan bakar pertalite semakin banyak, namun pada torsi maksimum yang dihasilkan menggunakan bahan bakar BE 30%, BE 20% dan BE 10% lebih rendah dari pada torsi maksimum menggunakan bahan bakar pertalite 100% , secara nilai selisih perbedaannya tidak banyak hanya nol koma baik pada daya maksimum maupun torsi maksimum yang dihasilkan dari variasi bahan bakar yang berbeda.

Abstract

This study examined roles of iron oxide/porous carbon material (Fe/C) for removing metronidazole in simulated wastewater by adsorption and then followed by a degradation using advanced oxidation process (H2O2, O3 and combination of H2O2/O3). Fe/C was produced by an impregnation of iron oxide precursors during resorcinol-formaldehyde synthesis followed by pyrolysis at 800 °C. For comparison, blank carbon (without iron loading) was also synthesized. The properties of porous carbon were investigated by SEM-EDX and N2-sorption analyzer. Blank carbon and Fe/C featured the specific surface area of 755 m2g-1 and 394 m2g-1, respectively. The loading of iron oxide altered the pore structures of material. The adsorption isotherm data were followed by the Langmuir isotherm model with metronidazole uptake up to 46.07 mg g-1 and 39.97 mg g-1 at 30oC by Fe/C and blank carbon. The degradation study was then carried out with catalyst dosage of 0.1 g/100 mL solution and 120 min reaction time at 30 oC. It is noticeably that, the degradation of metronidazole was better when a combination of H2O2/O3 was employed, compared with an individual of H2O2 or O3. Regarding the stability, Fe/C maintained its high activity upon four consecutive runs.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan adopsi teknologi dome pengering oleh Kelompok Tani "Tani Maju" di Desa Bantarkulon. Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi kegiatan ini adalah rendahnya pemanfaatan teknologi pengeringan modern yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan nilai tambah hasil panen petani. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan partisipatif aktif, yang melibatkan 25 anggota petani secara langsung melalui tanya jawab dan penjelasan mendalam mengenai manfaat dan prinsip kerja dome pengering. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga sesi yang meliputi pemaparan materi, demonstrasi penggunaan alat, dan diskusi kelompok. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan minat petani terhadap teknologi dome pengering. Berdasarkan evaluasi pasca pelatihan, 80% peserta menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman yang baik mengenai prinsip kerja dome pengering, dan 75% menyatakan minat yang tinggi untuk mengimplementasikannya. Sebanyak 60% peserta menjadi lebih terampil dalam mengoperasikan alat setelah sesi praktik. Tingkat partisipasi aktif petani selama pelatihan mencapai rata-rata 90% kehadiran, yang menunjukkan adanya penerimaan positif terhadap teknologi baru ini. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan partisipatif aktif efektif dalam meningkatkan adopsi teknologi dome pengering pada Kelompok Tani "Tani Maju". Kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan teknis, tetapi juga membangun kesadaran akan manfaat ekonomi dan kualitas yang dapat dicapai melalui penggunaan teknologi modern dalam pengelolaan hasil panen. Inovasi teknologi dome pengering yang diadaptasi dengan kondisi lokal memberikan solusi alternatif yang efektif untuk mengatasi masalah pengeringan hasil panen.
