Abstract

Public Facilities are facilities built by the government for the benefit of the general public. The problem that is often faced in Aceh Province is the difficulty of knowing the location of Public Facilities in Aceh Province due to the difficulty of the signal, many Public Facilities are not yet registered and mapped on Google Maps. Mobile Phone is one of the fastest growing technologies. Mobile Phone was originally used to send letters and make calls, but has now evolved into a smartphone that has the function of searching for a location. Apostolico Giancrlo works by comparing each index of keyword characters with the String character being examined. The search for strings in the Apostolico Giancarlo algorithm starts with pre-processing keywords. Pre-processing of keywords. This pre-processing is done to look at the index number of strings that are checked for each keyword character

Abstract

The screening of advertisements on a commercial radio station is done every day from Sunday to Saturday. In commercial radio stations, in general, making ad schedules is still manually which results in delays in the presentation of the weekly ad schedule. Playback time consists of two types, namely prime time and regular time. Radio Ad Scheduling that will be discussed in this study is the ad screening that is carried out on the radio broadcast schedule, which is between 5 am to 24 pm in which with the rules every 15 minutes are provided 3 ad playback slots with a maximum duration of 1 minute per ad. So if the radio broadcast time per day is 19 hours, then the maximum number of ads per day that can be displayed is 76 ads. Another rule is the implementation of prime time, the hours at which the general public (listeners) have the greatest opportunity to listen to the radio, which is between 6:00 and 10:00 in the morning and 16: 00-20: 00 at night. The number of screenings of the same advertisement on one day is limited to prime time which is 5 times, while for regular time is 8 times. The radio scheduling process is carried out using genetic algorithms consisting of chromosome initialization, selection, crossover and mutation processes. The chromosomes in this study consist of 3 genes, each chromosome will be evaluated based on its fitness value which is calculated based on the number of violations of rules that occur on each chromosome in an individual. Where rule 1 is the number of plays per advertisement that cannot be more than 5 times in a day and rule 2 is that there cannot be two or more ad scheduling shows on the same day and time. After that the fitness value of each chromosome is obtained, then the selection, crossover and mutation are carried out. From this research an optimal ad schedule is produced by scheduling overall ad data, day and time of ad playback

Abstract

Expert System to Diagnose Internet Connection Disorders is a series of systems that utilize digital technology to do special analysis. At PT.Telkom the Sumbagut Infratel Division already has its own website, but in providing expert system information about connection disruptions is still via the telephone, therefore a web-based expert system is designed, to facilitate the community in finding solutions to internet connection disruption. With the creation of this expert system, it is expected to provide solutions to current problems. In other words, this expert system can be said as a digital technician. The expert system to diagnose internet connection problems has been designed and implemented using the Visual Basic 2008 program and Microsoft Access as the database while the algorithm used is the Rete algorithm.This application is only admin that can process data input, edit data, and delete data. While the user can only consult and find information about internet connection disruption and the solution, with the program design that the authors make this hopefully can be used by all parties.

Abstract

Pelita Nusantara Medan STMIK Computer Informatics study program provides several fields of science that students can choose in completing their final thesis in the form of a thesis. During this time in its implementation, the determination of the field of this thesis was chosen by the student who will submit the thesis title as one of the requirements to obtain a bachelor's degree at STMIK Pelita Nusantara Medan without any direction from the campus either from the academic department or the head of the study program. Therefore, not a few students who ultimately choose a field of science that is not in accordance with their abilities. Based on the existing problems regarding the development of this thesis, a student clustering system was made based on the indicators of thesis development by applying one of the data mining methods, namely clustering, where the technique used was the Single Linkage Technique. Single Linkage Technique is a way to group objects or individuals based on criteria similarity size or closest distance between objects (minimum distances). Thus, the results of clustering (clustering) that are designed can help the academic STMIK Pelita Nusantara Medan, especially the Chairperson of the Computer Informatics Study Program in directing students in the determination of the field of thesis so that students choose the field of thesis in accordance with their abilities

Abstract

The PPA Scholarship is a support for educational costs that is given to students who have taken at least semester 2 in Higher Education with consideration of limited economic capacity and have academic and non-academic achievements. In classifying students who are eligible for PPA scholarships, the management has difficulties because the limited PPA scholarships are not proportional to the number of students. One solution in classifying students who are eligible for PPA scholarships is to utilize the data of students who have received PPA scholarships in the previous year. However, in the classification process, data research is needed, one of the data research techniques is data mining. Where data mining is an interesting pattern extraction of large amounts of data [1]. One of the algorithms in data mining used in classification is the J48 algorithm. The J48 algorithm is the implementation of the C4.5 algorithm in the WEKA tools, besides the J48 algorithm is the decision tree implementation in the rapidminer tools. This algorithm is expected to help the management of the PPA scholarship at STMIK Budi Darma in classifying students who really deserve to receive the PPA scholarship. Abstract

Service activities aim for the long term in creating HR (Human Resources) who have knowledge and creativity in the field of computers, especially in graphic design and multimedia applications. This training aims to train students in using tools in graphic design applications, for example. Corel Draw, so students are expected to know how to plan and develop students' creative abilities in designing. This activity is carried out using the social method of graphic design applications using the Corel Draw application, and an instructor who is an expert in the field of graphic design. to guide the operation of the application, thereby helping trainees in the practice of making designs. Decision support system, is a system that is used to facilitate decision making in selecting a graphic design training instructor, where the decision making process is basically choosing alternative decisions in determining the eligibility of a person to become a design training instructor, the assessment can be seen from several assessment criteria, namely experience, consistent, creative and communicative. In facilitating the selection process, a decision support system is used using the PSI (Preference Selection Index) method to produce the best weights and preferences. So that the final result obtained as a tutoring instructor is alternative A11 on behalf of Sriwulan with the first rank with the highest score of 0.9196

Abstract

In the world of work, competition certainly exists. Especially in the selection of the location of the business being run. The better the location of the place of business, of course, the more competition. In this study, we will discuss the selection of a strategic and appropriate business location. The location of the business greatly affects the development of the business being run, many businesses do not develop (loss) so they have to stop their business because the location of the business is far from residential areas, the location is narrow and so on. To avoid this, we need a system that can solve the problem which is called a decision support system. Decision support system is a structured system in making effective business location selection decisions using methods such as WASPAS, SPI, TOPSIS, WP, SAW, MOORA, MOOSRA, EDAS and many others. The selection of business locations used the MOOSRA and MOORA methods. Both methods are very simple and easy to understand with the assessment based on the criteria used, namely Number of Competitors, Crowd Center, Location Size, Place Rent Price and Location Cleanliness. The results obtained after applying the two methods in the selection of business locations, namely the highest alternative or the first rank is Alternative A1 with a reference value of 0.564
