Abstract

Breastfeeding is not an activity that can occur automatically but is an activity that must be well prepared for its success. The success of exclusive breastfeeding and the success of a mother in breastfeeding requires support from all parties, especially the husband and family. Various efforts have been made to increase the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding, both health promotion and government regulations. However, these efforts still do not provide maximum results in achieving exclusive breastfeeding. One effort that can do to increase the role of breastfeeding fathers using the Mantap ASI package so it is hoped that mothers will have maximum support in providing exclusive breastfeeding. This community service aims to increase the role of breastfeeding fathers in efforts to succeed in exclusive breastfeeding through implementation of the Mantap ASI package in the Nanggalo Community Health Center Working Area, Nanggalo District, Padang City. The methods used were lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and oral evaluations with 80 respondents. This activity resulted in an increase in respondents' knowledge and understanding of exclusive breastfeeding, breastfeeding, and the importance of the role of breastfeeding fathers through oral questions given. Apart from that, there was also an increase in the mother's ability in breastfeeding techniques and the father's ability to do oxytocin massage

Abstract

This study discusses the connotative meaning contained in the poetry by Joko Pinurbo. This study uses the theory of Leech (1981) and Palmer (1976) about connotative meaning and aspects of meaning. In the research method, the data were analyzed based on the definition of the qualitative descriptive method. The poetries of Joko Pinurbo were analyzed from each word and couplet. Then, each word and couplet in Joko Pinurbo's poetries were classified as connotative meaning and found the connotative word's aspect meaning. After analyzing, the researcher explained the data found and concluded this research. As the result, there are 13 connotative words found in this research. Of the four aspects of meaning that have been mentioned in chapter two of Joko Pinurbo's poetries, the researcher found two kinds of aspects of the meaning namely, nine the aspect of the meaning of feeling and four the aspect of the meaning of intension.

Abstract

Terhitung sebanyak  126/100.000 KH ibu meninggal dunia akibat komplikasi pada masa kehamilan. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasinya  adalah dengan pelaksanaan kelas ibu hamil. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui pengaruh pelaksanaan kelas ibu hamil terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil . Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperiment dengan rancangan onegrup pre and post test. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Wilayah kerja Puskesmas Ranah Ampek Hulu Tapan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan tanggal 05 Februari - 22 Maret 2020. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu hamil di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Ranah Ampek Hulu Tapan yang berjumlah 87 orang  dengan sampel sebanyak 16 orang. Data dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat dengan uji t-paired. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rerata pengetahuan sebelum dilaksanakan kelas ibu hamil adalah 11,56 ± SD 3,847 dan sesudah 15,69 ± SD 2,496. Rata-rata sikap sebelum 46,81 ± SD 6,544 dan sesudah 63,69 ± SD 4,438. Ada pengaruh pelaksanaan kelas ibu hamil terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan (p value 0,000) dan sikap (p value 0,000) ibu hamil di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Ranah Ampek Hulu Tapan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Ada berpengaruh pelaksanaan kelas Ibu terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil. Disarankan kepada pihak puskesmas agar selalu rutin melaksanakan kelas ibu hamil.Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, Sikap, Kelas Ibu hamil

Abstract

One of the social problems that exist in Indonesia is early marriage. In 2022, approximately 52 thousand cases of marriage dispensation summited to the religious courts. One of contribute factor is reproductive health education to teenagers. This research aims to increase teenagers' insight into the dangers of early marriage for reproductive health. Using the Snakes and Ladders game, this study used a one-group pre-post-test design to increase teenagers' knowledge about early marriage. The sample of this research was 29 teenagers aged 12-13 years. Data collection was carried out in May 2023. The level of knowledge was measured using a questionnaire and t-test. The results of the level of knowledge before and after showed an increase in teenagers' knowledge of the dangers of early marriage for reproductive health. After data analysis was carried out The results show a significant difference between before being given education and after being given education regarding the dangers of early marriage in teenagers. The use of the snakes and ladders game can be used as an alternative medium in providing reproductive health education to prevent early marriage.

Abstract

Clinical practice learning is a learning activity held in practice settings such as hospitals, clinics, health centers and communities. Phenomenological studies state that the duties and responsibilities as a preceptor cannot be carried out optimally. Surveying student perceptions regarding the role of preceptors in practice areas, 12% stated that preceptors were less cooperative, less friendly, and less guiding; 11.3% stated that preceptors were busy with other tasks, and 15.3% stated that preceptors were busy with patients. The aim of the research was to determine the effect of preceptor mentor training on student satisfaction at the Padang DII Midwifery Study Program, Padang Ministry of Health Polytechnic. This research is quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The research population was clinical practice supervisors in hospitals, community health centers, and midwives' independent practice in West Sumatra. The sampling technique used total sampling with a total of 80 respondents. The research instrument is a questionnaire. The research results showed that out of a total of 80 respondents, 47 respondents (58.75%) had participated in preceptor mentor training and 38.75% of them had received student satisfaction ratings in the high category in guiding students. Conclusion : The Chi-square test result is 0.000, preceptor mentor training has an influence on student satisfaction at the DIII Midwifery Study Program, Padang Health Polytechnic, Ministry of Health, Padang in guiding clinical practice in the practice area. Recommended that the institution to collaborate with the hospital so that preceptorship training can be carried out jointly and complement each other between clinical and academic supervisors.

Abstract

Deviant behavior carried out by teenagers generally occurs when they are in middle school (SMP) and high school (SMA). This is because during this period, adolescents are in a phase that is vulnerable to external influences, and the adolescent's psyche is still in an unstable state. At this school age, teenagers can receive various influences, both positive and negative, which can influence their behavior. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of deviant behavior in high school children in the learning process at school. Deviant behavior is behavior that is not in accordance with the stages of improvement and is not always in accordance with relevant norms. Deviant behavior here is also called negative behavior. The results of the research show that forms of deviant behavior among students who enter counseling at SMA 1 Bukit Sundi include frequently missing school, not being polite in talking to teachers, and also not participating in lessons at school, fighting with their friends. There are quite a lot and varied behavioral deviations that have been carried out by students, therefore students must be given sufficient provisions so that they do not fall into the wrong company.

Abstract

ABSTRAKAir Susu Ibu (ASI) merupakan makanan pertama dan pilihan terbaik bagi bayi pada awal kehidupannya. Berbagai upaya telah dilakukan untuk peningkatan pencapaian pemberian ASI eksklusif. Promosi mengenai menyusui juga semakin meningkat dilakukan, diiringi dengan mulai menjamurnya organisasi atau perkumpulan tentang menyusui. Namun hal ini tidak serta merta meningkatkan cakupan informasi menyusui pada masyarakat. Pencapaian pemberian ASI eksklusif juga masih belum mencapai target yang ditetapkan yaitu 80%. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan motivasi ibu untuk menyusui secara eksklusif yaitu melalui penggunaan paket MANTAP ASI. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan motivasi ibu untuk memberikan ASI eksklusif dengan memberikan pengetahuan terkait menyusui dan ASI eksklusif. Metode yang digunakan yaitu ceramah, demontrasi, dan diskusi serta kuesioner dengan 80 responden. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan responden dengan pengetahuan tinggi sebesar 81% dan motivasi tinggi sebesar 85%. Diharapkan dapat menerapkan paket MANTAP ASI dalam keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Kata Kunci: Penyuluhan, ASI Eksklusif, Motivasi, Pengetahuan ABSTRACTBreastmilk (ASI) is the first food and the best choice for babies in early life. The purpose of community service was to increase knowledge and motivation to exclusive breastfeeding with give knowledge about breastfeed and exclusive breastfeeding. This activity resulted 81% respondents with high knowledge and 85% respondents with high motivation. Abstract

Masalah yang sering terjadi selama proses persalinan adalah nyeri. Data menunjukkan dari 2700 ibu bersalin, 20% diantaranya dengan nyeri sangat hebat, 30% diantaranya dengan nyeri hebat, 35 % diantaranya denggan nyer sedang, dan hanya 15% dengan nyeri ringan. Manajemen nyeri persalinan dapat ditatalaksana secara farmakologi maupun non-farmakologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aromaterapi minyak esensial lemon terhadap penurunan intensitas nyeri ibu bersalin kala I fase aktif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan quasi-experiment dengan non-equivalent control group pretes-post test. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan 14 responden pada masing-masing kelompok. Uji statistik wilcoxon didapatan p-value 0.000 yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh aromaterapi minyak esensial lemon terhadap penurunan intensitas nyeri  ibu bersalin kala I fase aktif di RSUD Solok Selatan. Diharapkan tenaga kesehatan dapat memberikan pelayanan asuhan sayang ibu dengan manajemen pengurangan rasa nyeri pada saat ibu bersalin.

Abstract

The iron sand sample came from Tembakak Beach, Pesisir Barat Regency, was prepared and then analyzed using XRF, obtained an Fe content of 58.294%; Si 18.525%; Ti 8.775%; Al 6.785%; Ca 3.885%; K 1.624%, as well as minor elements with a content below 0.5%. Titanium dioxide (TiO2) can be obtained from ilmenite (FeTiO3), by hydrometallurgical extraction methods. The extraction results were analyzed using XRF, obtained TiO2 at varying concentrations of HCl 7 Îœ of 15.033%, HCl 9 Îœ of 16.367%, and HCl 12 Îœ of 17.421%. XRD characterization of TiO2 extraction results with variations in HCl concentration of 12 Îœ shows that TiO2 has a rutile crystal phase with a tetragonal crystal structure, and has a particle size of 33.92 nm so that the TiO2 particles obtained are nanoparticles that play an important role in technological and industrial development.

Abstract

Infeksi Menular Seksual (IMS) merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan reproduksi yang masih menjadi tantangan serius di Indonesia, khususnya penularan HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B, dan Sifilis yang dapat ditransmisikan dari ibu kepada bayi yang dilahirkan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan calon pengantin tentang bahaya IMS serta pentingnya pelaksanaan skrining Triple Eliminasi sebagai upaya pencegahan penularan sejak sebelum pernikahan dilangsungkan di wilayah Kecamatan Nanggalo Kota Padang. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan kesehatan interaktif berbasis partisipasi mitra wilayah dengan melibatkan Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Nanggalo dan Puskesmas Nanggalo sebagai mitra utama, pemeriksaan Rapid Diagnostic Test, konseling individual, serta pemberian booklet dan media edukasi kepada peserta. Kegiatan dilaksanakan sebanyak enam kali pertemuan sejak Juli hingga September 2025 dengan total peserta 60 pasang atau 120 orang calon pengantin yang seluruhnya merupakan target yang telah ditetapkan sejak awal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan pada peserta, dibuktikan dari hasil posttest di mana hampir seluruh peserta mampu menjawab pertanyaan evaluasi dengan benar. Calon pengantin yang semula beranggapan bahwa pemeriksaan Triple Eliminasi hanya dilakukan saat kehamilan kini memahami bahwa pemeriksaan tersebut wajib dilakukan sebelum pernikahan dilangsungkan.
