Abstract

Abstract: Tourism is the main sector for the economy of Bali. Denpasar City as the capital city of Bali Province is expected to maintain its position as one of main tourist destinations by increasing and improving existing tourism facilities, and one of them with the provision of tourism transport that serving tourists heading into tourism attraction in the city of Denpasar. The purposes of this research are to analyze the potential demand, tourism transport route and the characteristic of operational system of tourism transport in Denpasar City. From the analysis that has been done, it is obtained that the potential demand of tourist transport in Denpasar City is 438.576 people in 2013 and it is estimated to be 485.998 in 2017. The highest number of tourist those visit the attraction places through the routes of : Belanjong Pillar, Serangan Island, Central Management of Mangrove Forest, The Village of Budaya Kertalangu, Taman Budaya Art Centre, Museum Painting Fingerprint, Bajra Sandhi Monument, Kumbasari Market, Badung Market, Bali Museum.  Alternatives tour packages include regular tour packages with 10 attractions, regular city tours, regular nature tours, city tour charters, and natural attraction charters. Tourist transports operate using medium buses and minibus for 8 hours service time from 09.00 am until 17.00 pm for regular and 4,5 hours until 5,5 hours for charter package. The headway is set 30 minutes.

Abstract

ANALYSIS OF TRAFFIC IMPACT DUE TO OPERATION OF RAMA PARK SCHOOL ABSTRACT Taman Rama School which has 1144 students is included in the mandatory traffic impact analysis based on the Minister of Transportation Regulation No. PM 75 of 2015 concerning the Implementation of Traffic Impact Analysis. Data are analyzed by the formulas and methods of the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual 1997, assisted by using CONTRAM software. The analysis output showed a trip production of 413 pcu/hour and a trip attraction of 632.8 pcu/hour during peak hours. The performance of the road and intersection are improving as the result of the stop and go restriction on the road and the availability of the school transportation assuming 50% of students will switch from private vehicles. With the handling, in the existing year V/C Ratio at Jalan Cokroaminoto I improved to 0.72, Jalan Cokroaminoto II to 0.7, Jalan Cokroaminoto III to 0.67, Jalan Gunung Galunggung to 0.38, and Jalan Ken Dedes to 0.72, while the Cargo intersection performance as seen from the average intersection delay improved to 97.541 seconds/pcu, and the degree of saturation (DS) at the intersection of Ken Dedes also improved to 0.59. It's expected in the planned year (2023) there will be traffic performance improvement when compared without the handling, namely V/C Ratio Jalan Cokroaminoto I to 0.81, Jalan Cokroaminoto II to 0.937, Jalan Cokroaminoto III to 0.76, Jalan Gunung Galunggung to 0.42, and Jalan Ken Dedes to 0.81, while the performance of Cargo intersection seen from the average intersection delay also improved to 161.02 seconds/pcu and the degree of saturation of Ken Dedes intersection to 0.66. Parking lots capacity provided by Taman Rama School is still beyond number of the needs, where the availability of 179 SRP motorbikes and 107 SRP cars still excessive to the highest usage of 90 SRP cars and 154 SRP motorbikes. Based on PV2 values, the type of suitable crossing facilities for the locations,covers in front of the school and in front of the additional parking area is Pelican Crossing.

Abstract

TRAFFIC IMPACT ANALYSIS OF BADUNG REGENCY GOVERNMENT CENTRE “MANGUPRAJA MANDALA” ON THE PERFORMANCE OF SURROUNDING ROADSABSTRACTTraffic congestion around Hanoman intersection especially during the rush hours when the employees of the Badung Regency Government Office Centre are coming to or going home from their offices has created long lines of traffic jammed cars along Sempidi Road and the Dalung-Sempidi Road. Therefore, an analysis on the performance of the road and intersections around the Badung Regency Government Office Centre is needed to be done. The aim of this study is to identify the values of Trip Generation by Badung Regency Government Office Centre, the performance of Jalan Raya Sempidi, Jalan Raya Sempidi-Dalung, and the Hanoman Intersection. The method used was based on the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI), 1997. The result of the analysis showed that the impact of Trip Generation by Badung Regency Government Office Centre during peak hours is 1,414 pcu/hour. Degree of Saturation on Sempidi Road increased from 0.93 to 0.97, and the Level of Service in E. Degree of Saturation on Sempidi-Dalung Road increased from 0.67 to 0.93 and the Level of service decreased from C to E. Degree of Saturation on Hanoman Intersection increased from 1.59 to 1.83 and the Intersection Delay increased from 160-109 to 229-150, and Level of Service in F. The traffic congestion in Raya Sempidi and Raya Sempidi-Dalung road are caused by the delay in Hanoman Intersection, therefore the problem in Hanoman Intersection must be solved. With the availability of land in the Northern and Southern gate of Badung Regency Government Office Centre, the solution can be in the form of establishment a U-Turn.

Abstract

Assessment of road conditions using the SDI method and inventoried in the GIS in Klungkung Regency is carried out on the Jl. Gn Agung, Jl. Gn Rinjani, Jl. Gn Batukaru, Jl. Gn Semeru, and Jl. Gn Batur. Selection of district roads used by roads in the city of Semarapura which is the center of travel in Klungkung district should get more attention through road handling. In addition, the sections used are roads that visually have road damage. This research was conducted because there are still damaged roads that must be treated quickly. This study aims to analyze road conditions, analyze road handling types and inventory road conditions in a GIS map. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through a survey of road conditions by measuring road damage, while secondary data was obtained from the Bina Marga section of the PUPRPKP Office of Klungkung Regency, namely, SK Klungkung regency roads, Klungkung regency road maps and Klungkung district road baseline data. The stages of research analysis were identification of road damage by measuring, data recapitulation by processing survey results, data analysis using the SDI method and inventorying in a GIS map. The results of the assessment for the Jl. Gn Agung is in moderate condition 0.416 km and slightly damaged condition is 0.300 km. Jl. Gn Rinjani, 0.277 km is slightly damaged. Jl. Gn Batukaru is slightly damaged by 0.119 km. Jl. Gn Semeru is slightly damaged by 0.288 km. Jl. Gn Batur condition is slightly damaged 0.546 km. For the type of handling carried out Jl. Gn Agung periodic maintenance and routine maintenance, Jl. Gn Rinjani, Jl. Gn Batukaru, Jl. Gn Semeru and Jl. Gn Batur is regular maintenance. Inventory of road condition data and basic road data of Klungkung district using GIS provides an overview of road conditions in the form of a road network map so as to provide convenience in monitoring road conditions and determining the type of handling. This research can be used as a reference in determining the type of handling of district roads in Klungkung district.

Abstract

Abstract: Cargo Terminal which has 70 units space is holding control of freight passing through the city center and as a place of loading and unloading of goods vehicles which do not have a warehouse. However, the activity of loading and unloading of goods is still widely practiced in the right of way which causes traffic jams. This triggers the Denpasar government to develop Terminal Kargo Denpasar  so as to supply the demand for parking and loading and unloading activities. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of the parking and future parking needs in developing Terminal Kargo Denpasar  . The method used to obtain data through direct surveys such as  inventory survey and survey cordon parking and secondary data obtained from the relevant agencies. The analysis shows the volume of parking of vehicles is 44,5 vehicles / hour, parking capacity is 36 vehicles / hour, parking supply as much as 372 vehicles and 4 for Parking Index that indicates there has been a problem of parking in the Terminal Cargo Denpasar. It is show Terminal Kargo Denpasar  has been unable to supply activity goods vehicles. The amount of the parking requirements for development of Terminal Kargo based on parking characteristic analysis are 101 spaces.

Abstract

Jurusan Teknik Mesin merupakan salah satu jurusan yang terakreditasi A. Jurusan Teknik Mesin Universitas Udayana pada tahun 2016 telah berhasil mempertahankan akreditasi A yang diperoleh sejak tahun 2011. Salah satu penunjang keberhasilan tersebut adalah karena telah dimilikinya sistem pengukuran kinerja yang dihasilkan penulis pada tahun 2015 dimana sistem tersebut telah mampu memantau kinerja jurusan secara berkesinambungan. Walaupun sistem pengukuran kinerja tersebut telah digunakan, tetapi pada implementasinya masih banyak kekurangan yang dimiliki oleh sistem tersebut terutama karena sistem tersebut masih berbentuk manual. Kekurangan lain juga dapat dilihat dari hasil penelitian penulis tahun 2016 yang menunjukkan bahwa dari Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) rata-rata persepsi dari mahasiswa sebesar 2,91 masih dibawah rata-rata ekspektasi mereka yaitu 3,14. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan kembali sistem pengukuran kinerja yang terintegrasi berdasarkan hasil-hasil penelitian di tahun 2015 dan 2016 dengan metode Performance Prism dimana metode tersebut diintegrasikan dengan beberapa metode yaitu Integrated Performance Measurement Systems (IPMS) di dalam penentuan Key Performande Indicator (KPI) yang menjadi indikator penentu kinerja yang kemudian dibantu menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarcy Process (AHP) di dalam pemberian bobot masing-masing KPI. Setelah KPI memiliki bobot kemudian dilakukan scoring secara menyeluruh dengan Metode Objectives Matrix (OMAX) sehingga dihasilkan angka indeks per periode yang menjadi acuan tingkat kinerja jurusan, serta Traffic Light System (TLS) untuk mengetahui KPI mana yang memerlukan perbaikan berdasarkan warna. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil Performance Indicator dari periode 1 sebesar 322,8 dan mengalami peningkatan 7,6% dibanding Performance Indicator rata-rata 300. Performance Indicator dari periode 2 sebesar 352,50 dan mengalami peningkatan 9,2% dibanding periode 1. Performance Indicator dari periode 3 sebesar 354,66 dan mengalami sedikit peningkatan 0,61% dibanding periode 2. Performance Indicator dari periode 4 sebesar 354,52 dan mengalami sedikit penurunan 0,04% dibanding periode 3. Performance Indicator dari periode 5 sebesar 573,35 dan mengalami peningkatan 61,73% dibanding periode 4. Performance Indicator dari periode 6 sebesar 606,68 dan mengalami peningkatan 5,81% dibanding periode 5 dan merupakan periode dengan Performance Indicator tertinggi dalam sistem pengukuran ini. Department of Mechanical Engineering Udayana University in 2016 has managed to maintain the A accreditation obtained since 2011. One of the supporting success is because it has owned performance measurement system generated by the author in 2015 where the system has been able to monitor the performance of majors on an ongoing basis. Although the performance measurement system has been used, but in its implementation there are still many shortcomings possessed by the system mainly because the system is still in the form of manual. Another disadvantage can also be seen from the results of research authors of 2016 which shows that from the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) average perception of students of 2.91 is still below the average of their expectations of 3.14. In this research, re-design of integrated performance measurement system based on the results of research in 2015 and 2016 with Performance Prism method where the method is integrated with several methods of Integrated Performance Measurement Systems (IPMS) in the determination of Key Performande Indicator (KPI) a performance indicator that is then assisted using the Analytical Hierarcy Process (AHP) method in the weighting of each KPI. After KPI has weight then scoring thoroughly with Objectives Matrix (OMAX) method so that the result of index number per period become reference of department performance level, and Traffic Light System (TLS) to know which KPI need improvement based on color. From the research results obtained Performance Indicator from period 1 of 322.8 and increased 7.6% compared to Performance Indicator average 300. Performance Indicator from period 2 amounted to 352.50 and increased 9.2% compared to period 1. Performance Indicator from period 3 was 354.66 and slightly increased by 0.61% compared to period 2. Performance Indicator from period 4 was 354.52 and decreased slightly 0.04% compared to period 3. Performance Indicator from period 5 was 573.35 and an increase of 61.73% compared to period 4. Performance Indicator from period 6 of 606.68 and increased 5.81% compared to period 5 and is the period with the highest Performance Indicator in this measurement system.

Abstract

Jurusan Teknik Mesin adalah satu dari beberapa jurusan yang memiliki akreditasi A. Untuk mempertahankan kinerja tersebut hendaknya Jurusan lebih memperhatikan kualitas pelayanannya terutama kepada mahasiswa sebagai pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan Jurusan terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa Teknik Mesin Unud serta mencari prioritas utama dari faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini melibatkan seratus responden. Dari hasil perhitungan didapat bahwa Daya Tanggap (Responsiveness), Reabilitas (Reliability), Bukti Fisik (Tangible), Empati (Empaty), Jaminan (Assurance) berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Mesin Universitas Udayana. Adapun persamaan regresi linier berganda yang didapat adalah : Y = 5,034 + 0,156X1 + 0,140X2 + 0,095X3 + 0,234X4 + 0,264X5. Dari diagram kartesius dengan menggunakan metode Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) maka didapat gambaran posisi masing-masing faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan mahasiswa. Ada 3 item yang berada pada kuadran A (Prioritas Utama) yaitu X1.2 yaitu Kemampuan dosen untuk cepat tanggap dalam membantu masalah mahasiswa, X3.9 yaitu Ketersediaan buku dan diktat di ruang baca, dan yang terakhir X5.5 Terbentuknya jaringan jurusan dan alumni. Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the majors accredited A. To maintain the performance of the Department should pay more attention to the quality of services especially to students as customers. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality to the satisfaction of the Department of Mechanical Engineering students Unud and looking for the main priorities of factors that affect student satisfaction. This research involved a hundred repondents. The research result shows that responsiveness (Responsiveness), The reliability (Reliability), Physical Evidence (Tangible), Empathy (Empaty), Security (Assurance) influence simultaneously against student satisfaction Udayana University Department of Mechanical Engineering. The multiple linear regression equation obtained are as follows: Y = 5,034 + 0,156 X1 + 0,140 X2 + 0,095 X3 + 0,234 X4 + 0,264 X5. From diagram cartesius by using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) Method hence got picture of position of each factor that influence student’s satisfaction. There are three item that are in quadrant A (main priority) that is X1.2 that is the ability of lecturer to be quick responsive in assisting student problem, X3.9 that is availability book in reading room, and last X5.5 formation of network of departement and graduates.

Abstract

Isu strategis yang dihadapi dalam penyelenggaraan jalan dalam kota khususnya di Kota Denpasar adalah masalah kemacetan. Salah satu dukungan pemerintah adalah peningkatan kapasitas berupa pelebaran jalan dengan melakukan penutupan permukaan Tukad Teba sepanjang 3.2 Km mulai dari simpang Teuku Umar hingga di simpang Sunset Road. Keunggulan yang dimiliki oleh Vissim dapat merefleksikan kondisi lalu lintas di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kinerja ruas jalan sebelum pelebaran jalan, menganalisis kinerja ruas jalan setelah pelebaran jalan, dan menganalisis persentase perbedaan kapasitas, volume, kecepatan, kepadatan dari sebelum pelebaran dan setelah pelebaran (pre dan post test) dengan melakukan pemodelan menggunakan piranti lunak Vissim. Setelah uji validitas menggunakan uji Indenpendent Sample T-test dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 95%, peningkatan kapasitas tertinggi dimiliki oleh ruas dari Sp. Soputan – Sp. Nakula sebesar 136.14 % dari kapasitas sebelumnya, peningkatan volume tertinggi terjadi pada ruas pada Sp. Teuku Umar – Sp. Soputan sebesar 139,67%, namun dengan kondisi simpang Sp. Teuku Umar – Sp. Soputan saja yang tidak mengalami pelebaran maka terjadi peningkatan kepadatan tertinggi sebesar 112,45 % sehingga terjadi penurunan tingkat pelayanan dari sebelumnya B di tahun 2016 menjadi D pada tahun 2019. Ruas setelah simpang Soputan sampai dengan simpang Sunset road yang mengalami peningkatan kapasitas akibat pelebaran menghasilkan penurunan kepadatan sampai -12,32% dan peningkatan kecepatan rata-rata sampai 75,01%.

Abstract

Utilization of tabas stone waste and polypropylene (PP) plastic waste has not been carried out massively and optimally because it lacks economic value. The Tabas stone waste can be used as an aggregate for pavement. The porous characteristic of tabas stone results in a high rate of absorption and abrasion, so modifications are made by coating the aggregate with an PP plastic. The aim of this experiment was to determine the characteristics of the HRS-WC mixture with the aggregate of tabas stone coated with plastic. The initial step of this research was testing the tabas stone aggregates, bitumen material, and PP plastic according to the SNI procedure, the next step was Marshall test to find the Optimum Bitumen Content (OBC), the OBC value was obtained by 10%. Coating the aggregate with shredded plastic measuring ± 1 cm2 was done on coarse aggregate only using the dry method with the proportions of plastic are 5% and 10% of the total weight of coarse aggregate. The characteristics of the aggregate coated with plastic decrease in the value of absorption and abrasion, but only 10% of the plastic content met the specifications with a value of 2.5% and 19.63%. The Marshall testing on the HRS-WC mixture with plastic-coated aggregates was done at variations in bitumen content of 8.5%; 9%; 9.5%. The mixture at 5% plastic content only 9.5% bitumen content met the specifications, namely: stability 1352.72 kg, flow 3.39 mm, MQ 402.23 kg/mm, VIM 5.75%, VMA 18.62% , and VFB 69.16%. When at 10% plastic content, only 9% and 9.5% bitumen content met the specifications, namely the stability of 1370.06 kg; 1456.21 kg, flow 3.81 mm; 3.98 mm, MQ 365.31 kg/mm; 370.06 kg/mm, VIM 5.77%; 4.89%, VMA 18.07%; 18; 15%, and VFB 68.05%; 73.04%. Asphalt mixture of 9% bitumen content, 10% plastic content has more ITSM  value compared to 5% plastic content. This is due to the plastic content in the mixture of 10% plastic content which causes the mixture to be stiffness. Asphalt mixture with a plastic content of 5%, with an bitumen content of 9.5% faster than the mixture with an bitumen content of 8.5% and 9% in the ITFT test. Asphalt mixture with a plastic content of 5%, with a variation of bitumen of 8.5% experienced a decrease in the dynamic creep strain value until the bitumen content was 9.5%. A mixture with a plastic content of 5% aggregate coating is recommended for HRS WC that uses tabas stone.

Bali is one of the provinces included in the 50 National Tourism Destinations (NTD) which has been developed into 5 Regional Tourism Destinations (RTD) which are supported by Regional Tourism Strategic Areas (RTSA) with a tourism theme. This research aims to examine tourism development by considering the influence of tourism components which are reflected in land use variables and transportation infrastructure components, using the North Bali RTD supported by RTSA Lovina and RTSA Air Sanih as the research location. This research makes a positive contribution to regional economic growth and community welfare and the research output is expected to provide input and information for the region in its efforts to increase the development of tourist areas in North Bali. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 100 tourists, using the PLS-SEM analysis method. The research results show that tourism development in North Bali can be predicted significantly through land use and transportation infrastructure variables with a contribution of 63.4%, where the transportation infrastructure variable has a more significant influence, namely 65.7%, than the land use variance of 19%. Meanwhile, land use contributes 70.4% to transportation infrastructure.
