Abstract

Education stands as one of the primary pillars in nation-building. However, in many countries, disparities in access and quality of education remain significant issues that hinder the achievement of social equality. This research aims to delve deeply into the contribution of distance learning technology in expanding educational access and promoting social equality. The research method employed is a qualitative literature review drawing data from Google Scholar spanning from 2012 to 2024. The qualitative approach was chosen to allow the researcher to gain a profound and contextual understanding of the topic under study. The study findings indicate that distance learning technology holds significant potential in transforming the educational landscape towards social equality. Through online platforms, educational access can be extended to remote areas and to individuals who may not have had the opportunity to access quality education previously. The flexibility of learning time also emerges as one of the advantages of this technology, allowing individuals to tailor their study schedules according to their needs.

Abstract

Kearifan lokal merupakan pandangan atau cara masyarakat dalam menghadapi berbagai permasalahan, termasuk budidaya kopi. Pemanfaatan teknologi berbasis kearifan lokal semakin ditinggalkan oleh masyarakat, dikarenakan msifnya teknologi modern yang ditransfer kepada masyarakat. Disisi lain penerapan teknologi berbasis kearifan lokal yang tepat cenderung masih memberikan dampak positif terhadap keberlanjutan usahatani kopi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi petani dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan mereka untuk menggunakan teknologi berbasis kearifan lokal dalam budidaya kopi. Manfaat penelitian ini adalah :  (1) memberikan kontribusi terhadap studi keilmuan yang berkaitan dengan persepsi  dan Keputusan adopsi inovasi teknologi berbasis kearifan lokal pada budidaya kopi yang berkelanjutan;  (2) secara praktis dapat diterapkan dan dikembangkan bentuk penyempurnaan bagi petani dalam proses adopsi inovasi teknologi budidaya kopi berbasis kearifan lokal; (3) secara implikasi sebagai bahan masukan dan pertimbangan bagi penentu kebijakan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2022 di Tanggamus dan Lampung Barat Provinsi Lampung. Petani yang dijadikan sampel ada petani kopi rakyat sebanyak 140 petani. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah karakteristik sosial dan ekonomi petani responden, jenis teknologi berbasis kearifan lokal, persepsi dan adopsi teknologi kearifan lokal. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi logistik untuk menentukan variabel yang mempengaruhi keputusan petani dalam mengadopsi teknologi berbasis kearifan lokal. Sementara itu, persepsi dianalisis menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil analisis menunjukkan keputusan adopsi inovasi teknologi berbasis kearifan lokal budidaya kopi secara simultan dipengaruhi oleh umur, pendidikan, pengalaman usahatani, luas lahan, produktivitas, keuntungan relatif, compatibility, complexity, trialability, observability. Namun secara parsial hanya 3 variabel yang mempengaruhi keputusan adopsi yaitu pendidikan, luas lahan dan kemudahan untuk dicoba (trialability). Persepsi petani terhadap budidaya kopi berbasis kearifan lokal dilihat dari karakteristik inovasi menunjukkan bahwa secara ekonomi cukup menguntungkan, sesuai dengan kebiasaan dan pengalaman petani, tidak rumit untuk dipraktikkan, mungkin untuk dicoba dan  mungkin untuk dilihat hasilnya.

Abstract

Industri  garam  di  Indonesia  sangat  menarik  untuk  dikaji  karena  banyak permasalahan dalam   industri   garam   seperti   harga   garam   jatuh   saat   panen.   teknologi masih    tradisional dan belum ada diversifikasi produksi garam.  Penelitian  ini  dilakukan  untuk  mengkaji  perkiraan  ekonomi  jika  dilakukan  diversifikasi  produksi  hidrogen  pada produksi garam menggunakan teknologi hidrolisis air laut. Perkiraan ekonomi ini dilakukan untuk dua hal. yaitu pertama jika hidrogen sebagai hasil elektrolisis   dijual kepada industri dan kedua  jika  hidrogen  tersebut  digunakan   sebagai   sumber   energi   generator   pembangkit listrik  fuel-cell  untuk  rumah masyarakat di sekitar tempat produksi garam. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode konversi energi hidrogen menjadi energi listrik dan metode perhitungan nilai ekonomi  hidrogen  jika  dijual  ke  industri. Hasil  dari  peneilitan  ini  adalah Potensi penghasilan tambahan jika memproduksi hidrogen dan dijual kepada industri paling tinggi sebesar Rp 1.328.554.519/ petambak/ tahun dibandingkan jika hanya memproduksi garam dengan metode tradisional yaitu sebesar Rp 30.163.501/ petambak/ tahun. Potensi produksi energi listrik dari hidrogen menggunakan generator fuel-cell paling tinggi mencapai 464.031MWh/ tahun. Potensi energi listrik tersebut dapat mencukupi keperluan listrik untuk rumah tinggal petambak garam bahkan untuk seluruh rumah tinggal nelayan di Indramayu dan Cirebon. Namun hasil analisis kelayakan ekonomi menunjukan bahwa proyek penggantian sumber Listrik dari PLN menjadi Listrik dari generator fuel-cell belum layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in designing and optimizing personalization strategies to enhance customer experience in the tourism industry. In a sector highly dependent on customer satisfaction and loyalty, AI technology offers innovative solutions that can deliver more relevant and tailored experiences. Through a qualitative literature review and descriptive analysis, this research examines the application of AI on digital platforms such as chatbots, data-driven recommendations, and customer behavior analysis in crafting personalized experiences. Case studies from leading companies such as Booking.com, Expedia, and Airbnb demonstrate how AI can improve operational efficiency and provide relevant recommendations to boost customer satisfaction. The study also addresses challenges in implementing AI, such as balancing automation with human interaction and issues related to personal data protection. This research provides insights into the importance of AI adoption in personalization strategies within the tourism industry and its implications for businesses and customers.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning based on emotional intelligence (EQ) in elementary schools in order to increase the effectiveness of adaptive and characterful learning. This study focuses on the use of AI to personalize teaching materials, strengthen spiritual values, and develop students' empathy and social skills through an EQ-based approach. The method used is literature study by analyzing various sources such as journals, books and articles related to AI, PAI and EQ-based learning. The research results show that AI integration can facilitate interactive and enjoyable learning, while the EQ approach strengthens students' internalization of religious and emotional values. However, its success depends on collaboration between technology, teachers and a curriculum oriented towards the holistic development of children.

Abstract

Background: Dengue fever, caused by the dengue virus, is hyper-endemic in Indonesia. Since no protective vaccine or specific treatments are available, accurate diagnosis is crucial for the early implementation of preventive measures to limit dengue transmission and reduce economic losses. Various diagnostic techniques have been developed, including reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) for detecting viral nucleic acids using specific primers. Objective: This study aimed to design and evaluate the effectiveness of a new primer targeting the NS3 gene of the dengue virus for molecular detection in clinical samples. Methods: A cross-sectional molecular study was conducted in Banjarnegara, Indonesia. Serum samples were collected from dengue-suspected patients attending hospitals in the city. The diagnosis was initially performed using dengue NS1 antigen and IgG/IgM antibody detection. Dengue virus (DENV) serotyping was conducted using Simplexa Dengue real-time RT-PCR with a newly designed NS3 gene primer. The effectiveness of the new primer was assessed by comparing its performance with a commercial primer. Results: The primers, DenVNS3F (5’-CGAGTAGGAATGGGWGARGCAGC-3’) and DenVNS3R (5’-CTGTCCAGTGAGCRYGGTCTT-3’) were able to detect the NS3 gene of the dengue virus. However, the level of agreement in detecting the dengue virus compared to the commercial primer showed a moderate agreement (k = 0.60) with a low confidence level. Conclusion: The newly designed primers DenVNS3F and DenVNS3R are capable of detecting the NS3 gene. However, the primers may require further optimization to achieve a higher level of accuracy and confidence in detecting the dengue virus, and additional validation through sequencing is necessary to confirm the specificity of the amplified product.

Abstract

Anak tunarungu lebih mengandalkan penglihatan dalam menerima informasi, sehingga media pembelajaran berbasis visual sangat efektif, terutama untuk mata pelajaran abstrak seperti Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan penerapan media visual dalam pembelajaran PAI bagi anak tunarungu di SMALB B YAKUT Purwokerto. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan lapangan, penelitian ini menganalisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media visual dilakukan dalam tiga tahap: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap perencanaan, guru mengidentifikasi kebutuhan siswa dan menyusun RPP yang memuat tujuan, materi, metode, serta media pembelajaran. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, guru memanfaatkan media visual seperti gambar ilustrasi untuk menjelaskan materi tata cara berwudu, sehingga membantu siswa memahami materi dengan lebih jelas dan visual. Evaluasi dilakukan secara menyeluruh, baik terhadap hasil belajar siswa maupun kesulitan guru. Evaluasi ini juga melibatkan rapat guru dengan kepala sekolah untuk menemukan solusi yang efektif. Penggunaan media visual harus disesuaikan dengan karakteristik anak, agar mereka mampu memvisualisasikan materi dengan baik dan meningkatkan pemahaman.

Abstract

Menghafal Al-Qur’an merupakan tradisi keilmuan yang bernilai mulia dalam Islam, namun praktiknya sering menghadapi kendala berupa kesulitan menjaga kelancaran bacaan, konsistensi hafalan, dan pemahaman tajwid yang benar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan metode talaqqi dan kemudahan yang dirasakan siswa dalam menghafal Al-Qur’an di SMP Boarding School Putra Harapan Purwokerto. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data meliputi reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa metode talaqqi diterapkan secara terstruktur dan berkesinambungan melalui pengulangan hafalan, koreksi bacaan, serta bimbingan spiritual yang menumbuhkan motivasi dan rasa percaya diri siswa. Metode ini terbukti efektif meminimalkan kesalahan bacaan, meningkatkan daya ingat, serta membentuk kedisiplinan belajar, sehingga relevan untuk diadopsi oleh lembaga pendidikan Islam lainnya guna mengoptimalkan program tahfidz Al-Qur’an

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Qiro’ati method in Al-Qur’an learning at SMPIT Harapan Umat, Brebes Regency. A qualitative approach was used in this research. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques involved data reduction, data presentation, data validation, and drawing conclusions. The research subjects included teachers and students at SMPIT Harapan Umat. The results indicate that the implementation of the Qiro’ati method in Al-Qur’an learning at SMPIT Harapan Umat is carried out effectively. This is evidenced by the students’ ability to recite the Qur’an with tartil, following the rules of tajweed, as well as improvements in makharijul huruf (articulation points of letters) and punctuation. The learning stages included outdoor classical sessions, openings, indoor classical sessions, individual practice, classical review, and closing sessions.

Abstract

Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is an instructional model that centers on real-world problem solving, aiming to enhance student engagement, foster the development of new knowledge, and create a comfortable and interactive classroom atmosphere. This study aims to describe the implementation of character education through the Problem-Based Learning model in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMP N 2 Purwanegara. The research employed a qualitative approach using a field research method. Data collection techniques included non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, verification, and drawing conclusions, while source triangulation was used to test the validity of the data. The findings revealed that the PBL model was implemented through a structured series of learning activities that encouraged students to think critically and actively engage in solving contextual problems. The teacher functioned as a facilitator, guiding students to analyze, discuss, and present solutions to real-life issues relevant to their experiences. The implementation of PBL proved effective in developing and strengthening students' character traits, such as responsibility, discipline, honesty, and cooperation. The interaction between teachers and students became more interactive and meaningful, resulting in a more dynamic learning environment. Furthermore, students demonstrated a deeper understanding of Islamic Religious Education materials and were able to relate religious values to everyday life. Thus, the Problem-Based Learning model is effective in supporting the reinforcement of character education within the context of Islamic Religious Education in junior high schools.
