Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze and describe the influence of principal managerial and teacher work motivation on teacher performance, especially in high school in Region 3 OKU Selatan. The implementation of this research refers to quantitative research methods, with data collection techniques through questionnaires and documentation. To analyze the data, it is done by means of parametric statistical analysis through the t test and F test. The data obtained is carried out by analyzing the prerequisites that have been met such as the normality of the data distribution, and the absence of heteroscedasticity symptoms. The results achieved from this study are partially managerial principals have a significant influence on teacher performance; work motivation has a significant effect on teacher performance; Simultaneously, the principal managerial variables and teacher work motivation proved to have a positive and significant influence on the performance of high school teachers in Region 3 OKU Selatan.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe: 1). the influence of the principal's managerial competence on teacher performance; 2) the influence of the principal's leadership style on teacher performance, 3) the effect of managerial competence and the leadership style of the principal on the performance of vocational school teachers in East Baturaja District. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The population and sample in this study were 144 teachers at SMK East Baturaja, with the sample technique used was total sampling. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using simple linear and multiple linear regression formulas using the SPSS (Statistical Product and Services Solution) program. The results of the study show that: 1) There is a significant influence on the managerial competence of school principals on the performance of vocational school teachers in East Baturaja District; 2) There is a significant influence of the principal's leadership style on the performance of SMK teachers in East Baturaja District; 3) There is a significant influence of managerial competence and leadership style of the principal on the performance of vocational school teachers in East Baturaja District. This can be seen from the results of the F test which shows a significance value of 0.000 <0.005. The influence of managerial competence and the principal's leadership style on the performance of SMK teachers in East Baturaja District is 38.1%, the remaining 61.9% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of principal leadership behavior and teacher work motivation on teacher performance in public elementary schools (225, 226, 227 Palembang). The benefit of this research's explanation is that it is hoped that it will be able to become a treasure (wealth) of knowledge and knowledge in the world of education, particularly in the efforts of teachers in setting good and quality educational goals for improving teacher performance in public elementary schools (225, 226, and 227 Palembang). The research will take place at Public Elementary Schools 225, 226 and 227 in Palembang. where the research will be carried out from July to October 2022. This quantitative approach is used by researchers to see the contribution of school principal leadership behavior and teacher work motivation to teacher teaching performance. The sample for this study consisted of 78 teachers from Public Elementary Schools 225, 226, and 227. The coefficient of determination (R squared) of multiple regression between the independent variable and the dependent variable is 0.671, as shown in table 4.18 above. This explains that the principal's leadership style and work motivation have a combined effect on teacher performance of 67.1 percent, and the remaining 32.9% of teacher performance is influenced by other factors that were not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe: 1). the effect of discipline on teacher performance; 2) the effect of work motivation on teacher performance, 3) the effect of discipline and work motivation on the performance of teachers in private high schools throughout East Baturaja District. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The population and sample in this study were 55 teachers in private high schools in East Baturaja District, with the sample technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using simple linear and multiple linear regression formulas using the SPSS (Statistical Product and Services Solution) program. The results of the study show that: 1) There is a significant influence of discipline on the performance of private high school teachers in East Baturaja District; 2) There is a significant influence of work motivation on the performance of private high school teachers in East Baturaja District; 3) There is a significant influence of discipline and work motivation on the performance of private high school teachers in East Baturaja District. This can be seen from the results of the F test which shows a significance value of 0.000 <0.005. The influence of discipline and work motivation together on teacher performance is 43.2%, the remaining 56.8% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Teachers as the frontline in the implementation of the independent curriculum certainly have a strategy so that the curriculum of merdeka has an impact on strengthening student knowledge and character formation of students so that this study aims to describe and analyze teacher strategies in planning learning, implementing learning, assessing the learning process, teacher obstacles in implementing the curriculum of merdeka, and solutions carried out by teachers in implementing the curriculum of merdeka. Data collection used interview, observation and document techniques. Data were analyzed using interactive model analysis techniques. The results of the study concluded 1) teacher strategies in planning learning, namely: understanding the substance of the curriculum of merdeka, analyzing student needs, determining learning objectives, choosing learning methods and media, designing learning activities according to student needs; 2) teacher strategies in implementing learning, namely differentiated learning, fostering critical and creative thinking, cognitive and non-cognitive formative assessments, constructive feedback and a learning environment for active participation, involving students in the Pancasila profile strengthening project; 3) teacher strategies in assessing the learning process, namely: compiling assessment criteria, determining assessment methods, compiling assessment instruments according to student needs, implementing assessments, follow-up plans for assessment results; 4) obstacles faced by teachers, namely lack of understanding of the curriculum of merdeka, limited resources and facilities, changes in learning methods, high administrative burden; 5) solutions to overcome obstacles, namely: being active in learning communities, utilizing educational resources, utilizing technology for learning administration, mentoring and assistance, collaboration in discussing and reflecting on learning problems, internal platforms for sharing experiences and best practices between teachers.
