Abstract

The aircraft used in this study is the upper wing type which has the advantage of flight stability. This upper wing aircraft was designed by the researchers themselves with three different types of wings with a wing span of 1.35m and a fuse lag of 0.925 meters. There are four main forces that work when the plane is in the air, namely lift, thrust, air resistance and gravity. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the heavier the aircraft unit being flown, the greater the minimum thrust required to fly the aircraft. The measurement results of the 3 aircraft weights, namely 917 grams, require a thrust of 2030 grams of force, whereas for a total aircraft weight of 1,230 grams a thrust of 2510 grams is required, and at an aircraft weight of 1495 grams a minimum thrust of 3040 grams is required. The results also show that the thrust generated is not linear with the throttle position

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Google Forms as an evaluation tool for learning physics in Phase F at SMAN 1 Masbagik. The analysis was divided into two, namely students' mastery of physics concepts on Fluid Statics in terms of the question categories and students' responses to the use of google forms. This study used 18 respondents from Phase F at SMAN 1 Masbagik, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. This research was conducted in an odd semester of the 2022 school year. The link to the evaluation questions given to respondents contained 15 questions with 5 answer options, namely A, B, C, D, and E. Links to student response questionnaires for using the evaluation tool in the form of a Google form containing 10 attitude statements, with an assessment using a scale of 4. The results showed that students who answered correctly in the easy category were 72.2%, the medium category was 50.0%, and the difficult category was 33.3%. Students who expressed interest in the Google form as an evaluation tool amounted to 35.7%, and students who stated that they were very satisfied with the Google form as an evaluation tool amounted to 42.9%. Thus, teachers need efforts to train students in working on questions that fall into the difficult category or Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The Google form can be an alternative evaluation tool in physics learning, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic which limited direct learning interactions in class

Abstract

Science and technology have an important role in facing educational challenges in the 21st century, so that science education, which is part of education, has an important role in preparing students to have scientific literacy. The aim of this research is to determine research trends regarding scientific literacy as a basis for developing ecotourism-based teaching lessons for junior high school students on Lombok Island. The study in writing this article used literature studies or literature reviews from several previous studies published in Scopus indexed journals or proceedings from 2017-2022. The 157 articles obtained were selected into 30 articles. Literature analysis and synthesis was carried out using bibliometric analysis with the VosViewer application. The research results show that a lot of research on scientific literacy has been carried out in Indonesia, and one of the research related to scientific literacy is the development of teaching materials because the development of teaching materials has quite a big influence in increasing students' scientific literacy. However, there is still no research on the development of ecotourism-based teaching materials in increasing students' scientific literacy in Indonesia, so research on this topic is important to do

Abstract

This study assessed baseline critical-thinking performance among undergraduate pharmacy students in a phytochemistry course and examined preliminary diagnostic evidence for an adapted California Critical Thinking Skills Test (CCTST) aligned with Facione’s dimensions. A baseline assessment was administered to 41 fifth-semester students at FKES UNIQHBA Bagu during Academic Year 2025–2026. The 30-item instrument had a maximum score of 34 points and assessed interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation, and self-regulation. The mean total score was 14.59 ± 2.77, equivalent to 42.90% ± 8.13% of the maximum, and no student reached the 70% contextual instructional reference. Evaluation (59.80%) and interpretation (57.10%) showed the highest relative achievement, whereas self-regulation (29.80%) and explanation (26.40%) were the weakest dimensions. Cronbach’s alpha was 0.599, and item analysis revealed pronounced floor and ceiling patterns, indicating limited measurement consistency and a need for further item refinement. The findings identify explanation and self-regulation as priority areas for instructional development while supporting continued psychometric evaluation of the adapted assessment before broader use.
