Abstract

Desa Bumirejo, Malang, merupakan salah satu sentra produksi merica yang masih menerapkan metode perendaman tradisional pada proses pascapanen. Metode ini memerlukan waktu hingga 14 hari dan berisiko menurunkan mutu biji merica, seperti warna yang gelap, aroma yang kurang tajam, serta potensi kontaminasi mikroorganisme. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, tim pengabdian masyarakat merancang dan mengimplementasikan alat perendam biji merica otomatis berbasis teknologi sensor dan sistem kendali. Alat ini dilengkapi sensor suhu, sensor kekeruhan, pompa sirkulasi, dan solenoid valve yang memungkinkan pergantian air secara otomatis sesuai batas kekeruhan yang telah ditentukan. Hasil penerapan menunjukkan bahwa durasi perendaman dapat dipangkas menjadi 5 hari dengan enam kali siklus pergantian air, dan tingkat kekeruhan tertinggi yang tercatat adalah 33,25 NTU dengan rata-rata error pembacaan level air sebesar 1,52%. Penggunaan alat ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi proses, menjaga kualitas warna biji merica, serta berpotensi meningkatkan daya saing produk di pasar

Abstract

Pemandian Sumberingin tidak hanya menawarkan pemandangan alam yang indah dan segar, tetapi juga menawarkan pengalaman wisata edukatif yang berfokus pada konsep energi ramah lingkungan. Namun minimnya lampu penerangan dan tidak adanya penunjuk arah ketika malam hari membuat pengguna merasa tidak nyaman, hal ini dilihat dari pengaduan dari pengguna kepada pengelola wisata. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (PPM) ini memberikan edukasi mengenai perawatan dan perbaikan lampu penerangan penunjuk arah sehingga lampu dapat bertahan awet cukup lama. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan Service Learning dengan berkolaborasi Tim PPM terdiri dari dosen dan mahasiswa serta pengelola wisata. Hasil Kegiatan yaitu pemberian lampu penerangan penunjuk arah dan manual book untuk memberikan petunjuk, informasi, dan panduan penggunaan suatu produk atau sistem agar pengguna dapat mengoperasikannya dengan benar, aman, dan optimal. PPM memberikan respon positif sebesar 4,36 dengan kategori Baik. harapan kegiatan PPM dapat meningkatkan rasa aman dan nyaman pada malam hari, serta memenuhi kebutuhan pencahayaan untuk mendukung berbagai kegiatan atau aktivitas masyarakat di waktu malam

Abstract

Moving sign musholla is very important as an interactive learning media for TPA children because the moving sign also contains information on the letters of the Al-Quran, in addition Quran murrotal audio to make children who recite the Quran can listen to the chanting of verses and can memorize these letters. In addition, this moving sign provides other information such as prayer time schedules, besides that it is also useful for the muezzin to know when to call to prayer and iqamah, while the benefit for the congregation is to know the prayer time when in the prayer room. Besides containing prayer times, hours and dates. The moving sign display as well as the addition of audio is more attractive to the atmosphere of the children in the TPA. Many musholla in Malang already have moving sign facilities, but there are some that still do not have moving sign facilities, one of which is TPA Musholla Al-Ikhlas.

Abstract

Energi surya merupakan salah satu sumber energi terbarukan yang memiliki potensi besar sebagai alternatif penyedia energi bersih. Optimalisasi pemanfaatan panel surya memerlukan sistem monitoring yang mampu memantau parameter kelistrikan dan kondisi panel secara real-time sehingga proses pengisian baterai dapat berlangsung secara efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem monitoring panel surya tracking berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32. Sistem yang dikembangkan memantau tegangan, arus, daya, suhu panel surya, suhu baterai, arah hadap panel, serta status pengisian baterai menggunakan sensor INA219, sensor NTC thermistor, modul RTC, LCD, dan aplikasi Virtuino melalui jaringan Wi-Fi. Metode penelitian meliputi perancangan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak, integrasi sensor dengan ESP32, serta pengujian akurasi melalui perbandingan hasil pengukuran sensor dengan multimeter digital. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sensor INA219 memiliki rata-rata galat sebesar 0,50% untuk tegangan dan 1,50% untuk arus. Sistem monitoring menghasilkan rata-rata galat sebesar 0,146% untuk tegangan, 2,80% untuk arus, dan 2,99% untuk daya. Sistem mampu menampilkan data secara real-time pada LCD serta mengirimkan informasi ke aplikasi Virtuino melalui Wi-Fi, sehingga layak diterapkan sebagai sistem monitoring panel surya dan baterai berbasis IoT.

Abstract

Berbagai kendala dalam mempersiapkan pembelajaran dialami baik oleh mahasiswa maupun dosen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh hasil pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran online dengan pendekatan Problem Based Learning pada mata kuliah matematika yang valid dan praktis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model penelitian dan pengembangan Plomp. Hasil validasi ahli dan rekan terhadap perangkat pembelajaran matematika seperti RPS (3,96), RPP (4,05), Bahan Ajar (4,08), LKS (4,11) dan soal (4,07) valid dengan kriteria baik). Hasil nilai uji kepraktisan dari rata-rata observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran 76,9%, rata-rata respon angket mahasiswa 85,1%, rata-rata angket respon dosen 82,4% dan rata-rata observasi aktivitas kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis 82%. Dari uji validitas dan uji kepraktisan bahwa pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran matematika yang dibuat dapat menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa terhadap pemecahan masalah non-rutin. Various of obstacles in preparing learning experienced by both students and lecturers. The purpose of this study was to obtain the results of developing online learning tools with a Problem Based Learning approach in valid and practical mathematics courses. The research method used is the Plomp research and development model. The results obtained by experts and colleagues validation of mathematics learning tools such as RPS (3.96), RPP (4.05), Teaching Materials (4.08), Student Worksheets (4 .11) and the question (4.07) is valid with good criteria). The results of the practicality test score from the average observation of learning implementation 76.9%, the average student questionnaire response 85.1%, the average lecturer response questionnaire 82,4% and the average observation of mathematical problem solving ability activities 82%. From the validity and practicality test that the development of mathematics learning tools made can show an increase in students' mathematical problem solving abilities towards solving non-routine problems

Abstract

This study aimed to develop RCODE learning materials based on Outcome-Based Assessment (OBA) to improve students’ mathematical creative thinking skills in Fourier series. The study employed a research and development approach based on the Plomp model, comprising the preliminary investigation, design, realization or construction, testing, evaluation, and revision phases. The developed products included a semester learning plan, student assignment plan, teaching module, student worksheets, a mathematical creative thinking skills test, observation sheets, a student response questionnaire, and validation instruments. A limited-scale trial was conducted involving 23 students enrolled in the Applied Bachelor’s Program in Electronics Engineering at the State Polytechnic of Malang. Data were collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, and tests and were subsequently analyzed in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The validation results yielded an average score of 3.38 (82.5%), which was categorized as highly valid. The practicality assessment yielded an average score of 3.38 (84.5%), indicating that the learning materials could be implemented effectively and received positive responses from the students. The students’ average score increased from 56.78 on the pretest to 83.58 on the posttest, with an N-Gain score of 0.62, which was classified as moderate. The average achievement score for the indicators of mathematical creative thinking skills was 8.17. Therefore, the OBA-based RCODE learning materials were considered valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ mathematical creative thinking skills

Abstract

Teachers' ability in pedagogical competence must be improved. Teachers must always innovate in designing the learning process where learning is the main activity in the education process. Teachers are still found to use learning that is focused not on students. A big challenge for educators, especially elementary school teachers, is to be able to provide interesting and easily understood material for students. Through these challenges, every educator is required to be more creative in delivering material and attracting the attention of students. Observing the conditions that occur at SDN Tlogowaru 1, this activity aims to provide Digital Learning Transformation Training to Improve Teachers' Pedagogical Skills at SDN Tlogowaru 01 Malang. The training participants were 22 teachers with the Participatory Action Research (PAR) Method. The results of Community Service (PPM) activities increased teachers' knowledge and skills in creating interactive teaching materials through flipbook and scratch applications. Teachers are expected to be able to implement them into their learning in their respective classes. PPM participants gave a positive response of satisfaction of 16.36% Strongly agree, 82.73% Agree

Abstract

Hasil observasi terhadap mahasiswa dan dosen yang menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan selama pembelajaran matematika berfokus dengan penyediaan formula praktis dan procedural cenderung menghambat pengembangan kemampuan untuk berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Salah satu kompetensi esensial untuk menilai pendapat, menganalisis informasi, dan membuat keputusan secara rasional adalah kemampuan berfikir kritis. Oleh sebab itu, kemampuan ini diperlukan untuk memahami konsep matematis tingkat tinggi, khususnya menuntut kemampuan analisis seperti persamaan differensial. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan perlunya model pembelajaran yang dapat mendorong peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yang salah satunya model pembelajaran RCODE. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis mahasiswa melalui penerapan pembelajaran RCODE pada mahasiswa DIII Teknik Elektronika. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan subjek 21 mahasiswa kelas IB semester genap tahun akademik 2024/2025 dengan pokok bahasan persamaan differensial orde dua. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pemberian soal kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis, angket respon, serta wawancara untuk memperkuat temuan kuantitatif. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS dengan pengujian normal, homogen, proporsi, dan pengukuran N-gain. Temuan penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa ketercapaian mahasiswa terhadap Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM 67) terpenuhi baik secara individu maupun klasikal dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 75%. Peningkatan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis (KBKM) mahasiswa setelah penerapan pembelajaran RCODE diperoleh nilai N-gain sebesar 0,47 yang termasuk dalam kategori peningkatan cukup. Rata-rata KBKM mahasiswa mencapai 8,19 pada skala 0–10. Secara lebih rinci, aspek pemahaman terhadap masalah memperoleh skor rata-rata 8,55; aspek perencanaan atau permodelan dalam penyelesaian sebesar 8,26; aspek pelaksanaan dalam penyelesaian dan proses perhitungan sebesar 7,92; dan aspek pengambilan kesimpulan sebesar 8,03. Temuan menunjukkan pembelajaran RCODE mampu memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan KBKM khususnya dalam membantu mereka memahami konsep, menganalisis strategi, mengevaluasi solusi penyelesaian masalah.The results of observations of students and lecturers indicate that mathematics learning activities that focus on the provision of practical formulas and procedural approaches typically impede the growth of students' critical thinking abilities. One of the key skills for information analysis, argument evaluation, and logical decision making is critical thinking. Consequently, it is essential for comprehending more complex mathematical ideas, particularly those that require strong analytical abilities, such as differential equations. These conditions indicate the need for a learning model that can encourage the enhancement of students’ critical thinking abilities, one of which is the RCODE teaching model. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how much RCODE learning of growth students' mathematical critical thinking abilities for Diploma III (DIII) Electronic Engineering students. The research employed a quantitative approach with 21 students of class IB in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year as the subjects, focusing on the topic of second-order differential equations. Data were collected through tests of mathematical critical thinking skills, response questionnaires, and interviews to strengthen the quantitative findings. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS, including tests of normality, homogeneity, proportion, and N-gain measurement. The results of the study indicate that students successfully met the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM = 67), both individually and collectively, achieving a classical mastery level of 75%. The enhancement of students’ Mathematical Critical Thinking Skills (MCTS) following the implementation of the RCODE learning approach produced an N-gain score of 0.47, which is categorized as a moderate level of improvement. The overall average MCTS score was 8.19 on a 0–10 scale. In more detail, the average score for the problem comprehension aspect was 8.55; for planning or solution modeling, 8.26; for execution and calculation, 7.92; and for drawing conclusions, 8.03. These results suggest that the RCODE learning approach has a positive effect on improving students’ mathematical critical thinking skills, particularly in enhancing their ability to understand concepts, analyze strategies, and evaluate problem-solving outcomes.
