Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility atau tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan saat ini telah diterapkan di banyak perusahaan di Indonesia. Pemerintah Indonesia telah mewajibkan perusahaan untuk melakukan program CSR. Hal ini termaktub dalam Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia no 40 tahun 2007 tentang perseroan terbatas. Program CSR yang dilaksanakan oleh perusahaan biasanya meliputi beberapa aspek, yaitu pemberdayaan komunitas, ekonomi, sosial, pengembangan kreatifitas pemuda, maupun olahraga.Salah satu perusahaan yang menjalankan program Corporate Social Responsibility ialah PT. Intiland Development. Penelitian di perusahaan tersebut dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah program CSR yang telah dilaksanakan oleh PT. Intiland Development menjalankan prinsip sustainable development. Mengingat pentingnya aktifitas pembangungan berkelanjutan sehingga tidak hanya dilaksanakan dalam jangka waktu singkat saja.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara studi lapangan dan juga mengkaji dari literatur terkait. Peneliti akan melakukan wawancara mendalam kepada seorang pelaksana program CSR di PT. Intiland Development. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif.

Abstract

Silikosis merupakan penyakit ganguan pernapasan paling utama yang dialami oleh pekerja pengecoran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan gejala gangguan sistem pernapasan akibat paparan debu silika (SiO2) Pada Area Hand Moulding I, Hand Moulding II, Hand Moulding III, Fetling dan Melting Pekerja Pabrik 1 Pengecoran PT Barata Indonesia (Persero). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional analitik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuisioner yang disebar pada area HM I, HM II, HM III, Fetling dan Melting. Hasil kuisioner yang diperoleh diuji menggunakan uji analitik chi square. Sebanyak 15 orang responden laki-laki atau 50% mengalami gangguan pernafasan. Bedasarkan hubungan gangguan pernafasan yang dihubungkan dengan pekerja yang memiliki aktivitas merokok dan mengalami gangguan pernafasan sebanyak 7 orang (p value 0,296 0,05;OR:2.139). Pekerja dengan masa kerja 2-4 tahun sebanyak 13 orang dan masa kerja 4 tahun sebanyak 4 orang (p value 0,977 0,05;OR:1.122). Pekerja yang berpendidikan SMA yaitu sebanyak 14 orang (p value : 0,307 0,05) dan pekerja yang mempunyai riwayat dahulu 14 orang (p value : 0,002 0,05;OR :17.500) . Hasil dari uji berbagai faktor diatas membuktikan bahwa faktor riwayat pekerjaan dahulu mempunyai tingkat hubungan paling kuat yaitu 0,002 dan mempunyai risiko 17 kali lebih besar dari pada yang tidak memiliki riwayat pekerjaan dahulu. Faktor yang tidak berhubungan dengan gejala gangguan sistem pernapasan akibat paparan debu silika (SiO2) pada Area HM I, HM II, HM III, Fetling dan Melting Pekerja Pabrik 1 Pengecoran PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) adalah aktivitas merokok, masa kerja dan pendidikan, sedangkan faktor yang berhubungan adalah riwayat pekerjaan yang dimiliki pekerja.

Abstract

Makroalga Caulerpa racemosa mengandung senyawa bioaktif yang berpotensi sebagai antibakteri untuk mencegah  pembusukan pada ikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kandungan senyawa aktif pada Caulerpa racemosa secara kuantitatif, jenis antibakteri dominan pada Caulerpa racemosa, dan pengaruh perbedaan konsentrasi ekstrak Caulerpa racemosa terhadap perubahan nilai pH, TPC, TVBN, dan organoleptik pada fillet ikan bandeng selama penyimpanan dingin.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan bersifat eksperimental laboratoris menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial 3x4 dengan 3 kali ulangan. Faktor pertama yaitu lama penyimpanan (0, 4, 8, dan 12) hari dan faktor kedua yaitu konsentrasi antibakteri ekstrak Caulerpa racemosa kontrol,1% dan 1,5%. Data pH, TVB dan TPC dianalisis dengan ANOVA dan uji lanjut BNJ (Beda Nyata Jujur), sedangkan data organoleptik dengan uji Kruskal Wallis dan uji lanjut Duns Multiple Comparison menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan ekstrak Caulerpa racemosa dengan konsentrasi berbeda berpengaruh nyata (p<0,05) terhadap nilai pH, TVB, TPC dan organoleptik. Penambahan ekstrak Caulerpa racemosa 1% dan 1,5% dapat menghambat pembusukan pada fillet ikan bandeng hingga hari ke-8, sedangkan fillet kotrol sudah mengalami pembusukan pada hari ke-4. Konsentrasi methanol pada ekstraksi Caulerpa racemosa terbaik adalah 100%. Senyawa antibakteri dominan pada Caulerpa racemosa berasal dari golongan alkaloid. Penggunaan ekstrak Caulerpa racemosa 1% merupakan perlakuan terbaik dalam mempertahankan kesegaran fillet ikan bandeng yang disimpan pada suhu dingin. Macroalgae Caulerpa racemosa contains bioactive compounds as an antibacterial to prevent fish spoilage. The aimed of this study was to determine bioactive compound content of Caulerpa racemosa quantitatively, the dominat antibacterial compounds in Caulerpa racemosa, and the effect of different concentrations of Caulerpa racemosa extract to the changes of pH, TPC, TVBN, and sensory value of milkfish fillet during cold storage. The observation was carried out every 4 days. The method used was experimental laboratory with randomized completely design with 3x4 factorial design and in triplicates The first factor was the storage time (0, 4, 8, and 12 days) and the second factor was the concentration of antibacterial extract from Caulerpa racemosa control 1% and 1.5%. pH, TVB and TPC data were analyzed by ANOVA and HSD test (Honestly Significant Difference), while sensory data by Kruskal Wallis test and Duns Multiple Comparison test using SPPS. The results showed that the addition of Caulerpa racemosa extract in different concentrations significantly (p <0.05) affect on pH, TVB, TPC and sensory value. The addition of Caulerpa racemosa extract 1% and 1.5% can inhibit spoilage in catfish fillets up to day 8, while the control already decomposing on the 4th day. The best concentration of methanol that used to Caulerpa racemosa extraction was 100%. The dominant of Antibacterial compound in Caulerpa racemosa was sourced from alkaloid class. The using of 1% Caulerpa racemosa extract is the best treatment to maintain the freshness of fish fillets during cold storage.

Abstract

Low back pain is one of the health risks for workers. Age, years of work and work posture that are not ergonomic are associated with complaints of low back pain. This study aims to determine the relationship between age, work period, and work posture on complaints of low back pain in rice mill workers. This study used an analytical observational study, with a cross sectional approach. Samples were taken of 50 respondents using total sampling. Research instrument with a questionnaire to determine data on age, years of service and assessment of complaints of low back pain. The RULA checklist method for measuring body posture. The data analysis technique used the Pearson test and multiple linear regression. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between age, years of service and work posture with complaints of low back pain with a p value 0.05. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between age, years of service and work posture with complaints of low back pain.

Abstract

Many factors affect lung function capacity in textile industry workers. This research aims to determine the factors that affect the vital role of pulmonary spinning workers in the textile industry. This research used an analytic observational research design with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used total sampling and getting the sample was 96 people, and measurement of lung vital capacity used spirometry. The Low Volume Sampler was applied to measure dust concentration, and the questionnaire was used to assess the individual characteristics. Bivariate analysis of the variables is the working environment dust, exercise habits, smoking behavior, and gender are significant. The result of multivariate analysis of dust is the most affecting to the lung vital capacity. In conclusion, dust concentrations are classified above the Threshold Limit Value (TLV), so the company should control the source of dust exposure.

Abstract

Carbon monoxide inhaled into the lungs will enter the blood circulation and inhibit the entry of oxygen needed by the body. This gas combines with hemoglobin to form carboxyhemoglobin (COHb). The increase in COHb in the blood will inhibit the function of oxygen transportation and will affect the health of workers. This study aims to determine the risk factors for increasing COHb in Tirtonadi Bus Station Surakarta officers. The research method used analytic observational with a cross-sectional design. The research population was 110 respondents with a purposive sampling technique to get a research sample of 43 respondents. CO levels in the environment were measured by a CO meter, while COHb levels were measured by a spectrophotometer. The research data were analyzed using Spearman rank. Statistical correlation test showed a significant relationship between CO levels in the environment and COHb levels, p-value = 0.000 and r-value = 0.897, and no significant relationship between length of work and COHb levels with p-value = 0.285 and r-value = - 0.167. CO in the environment is related to the COHb level of traffic security officers at Tirtonadi Bus Station Surakarta, and the length of work is not related to the COHb level of traffic security officers at Tirtonadi Bus Station Surakarta.

Abstract

ABSTRACT : It is known that medical waste has increased in recent years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which was followed by an increase in ash from burning medical waste processing using incinerators. The objective of this study is to determine the impact of using medical waste incineration ashes on health and the environment, as well as the potential for using solidification techniques to make the ash into paving blocks. The ash used was obtained from a medical waste processing facility in Surakarta, Indonesia's Central Java. The test object was created using seven different combinations of ash, sand, and cement with a water-cement ration of 0.5 and cured for 28 days. The optimum compressive strength condition was determined as the basis for the composition of medical waste incineration ash as a mixture of paving block raw materials, which was then tested for the content of heavy metal compounds using the SNI 8808: 2019 method. According to research, the ash from medical waste incineration contains heavy metal compounds such as Pb, Ni, Cu, and Cd and has the potential to be used as a mortar mixture. Six of the seven mortar compositions with the addition of incineration medical waste ash met the compressive strength requirements of SNI 03-0691-1996 for category D paving blocks to be used in parks and other places.

Abstract

IQ merupakan pengelompokan kecerdasan manusia, untuk mengetahui kecerdasan seseorang berbagai macam alat ukur yang digunakan diantaranya adalah tes inteligensi, tes emosional, tes spiritual, psikotes dan alat ukur lainnya. Semakin tinggi semangat orang untuk meraih sukses, semakin tinggi pula kebutuhan akan modal intelektual, emosional, psikologis, minat dan bakat. Segala kemampuan tersebut bisa jadi merupakan bakat terpendam dalam diri yang belum tergali, ataupun bakat yang harus dimunculkan dengan berbagai latihan. Tes IQ dalam penentuan dan pertimbangan pemilihan jurusan pada sekolah biasanya dilakukan secara manual dan membutuhkan waktu yang cukup banyak untuk mengetahui hasil IQ dalam penentuan pemilihan jurusan, selain itu banyak peserta tes sulit memahami untuk menghitung hasil tes IQ karena cukup rumit sehingga untuk mempermudah pihak sekolah dalam melaksanakan tes IQ penentuan jurusan maka diperlukan adanya suatu aplikasi yang berbasis komputer dan untuk membangun aplikasi yang akan digunakan bahasa pemrograman serta metode pengujian white box. Hasil evaluasi terhadap aplikasi yang dibangun sangat membantu serta mempercepat pihak sekolah dalam penentuan jurusan dan tepat dalam penentuan jurusan siswa yang disesuaikan kemampuan mereka serta membudayakan pemakaian komputer dikalangan siswa.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic that hit Indonesia caused the problem of increasing medical mask waste. Medical masks are included in B3 waste because they are infectious. Therefore, special treatment is needed to mask waste, so it doesn't transmit disease. This study was conducted to determine the awareness of medical mask waste management in young people, especially those who live in the provinces of Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to respondents aged 17-24 years. This research used descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach. Based on the results of the study, it is known that most of them already know the meaning of B3 waste, where 65% of respondents can answer questions correctly about the type of waste and about 95% of respondents considered medical mask waste to be harmful to the surrounding environment. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that the respondents have shown awareness of the dangers of mask waste, but from the results of the questionnaire, it is also known that the respondents do not have the awareness to process waste. From the 151 respondents, there were only 4 people who did the processing. So that it can be seen that the level of awareness of medical waste management in young people, especially those who live in the Province of Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta is still very low. The results of the questionnaire also show that there are still few TPS specifically for hazardous waste around the settlements.
