Abstract

The purpose of research was to find out the management of President Jokowi's leadership communication in terms of managing the symbolic impression displayed in the one-year period of his governance with Vice President Ma'ruf Amin. The research approach uses cultural studies, with the method of studying the literature of media content, especially political opinions. The results showed that during one government, judging by the management of symbolic impressions, President Jokowi more presents himself as an organizer and entrepreneur, so that it does not stand out too prominently the formal aspects of protocol presidency in his daily acts. The leadership challenge is urban geopolitics, namely the co-optation of the city area into a source of legitimacy opposition. This challenge developed into a latent issue of binary opposition that attacked the identity of the President. The post-truth era news phenomenon contributes to the threat of government legitimacy in cyberspace. In the field of education, the element of character building is still weak in the realm of implementation, so the course of government for one year is shown many breakthroughs, but often colored controversially.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis strategi komunikasi pemasaran digital yang dilakukan oleh Brodo dalam upaya membangun brand awareness brand Brodo melalui akun Instagram. Demi meningkatkan penjualan komunikasi pemasaran yang dilakukan perusahaan sangatlah penting dan harus dilakukan sesuai dengan strategi yang tepat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam kepada pihak manajemen dan konsumen Brodo dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Strategi Komunikasi Pemasaran Digital Dalam Membangun Brand awareness Brodo Melalui Akun Instagram, maka didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa strategi komunikasi pemasaran digital Brodo melalui Instagram terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan brand awareness dengan mengedepankan identitas brand yang kuat, visual yang konsisten, serta pendekatan interaktif melalui konten edukatif, storytelling, dan kolaborasi dengan KOL. Brodo juga menghadapi beberapa hambatan, seperti perubahan algoritma Instagram yang memengaruhi jangkauan konten, keterbatasan sumber daya dalam menghasilkan konten secara konsisten, serta persaingan dengan brand lokal lainnya yang semakin aktif di media sosial. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa strategi komunikasi pemasaran digital yang tepat di Instagram dapat secara efektif meningkatkan brand awareness dan mendorong keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

The community service activity aims to enhance knowledge, awareness, and family communication skills in the digital era among residents of Rancabango Village, North Subang. The activity began with a pre-test questionnaire to measure participants' initial understanding of verbal and nonverbal communication, as well as the utilization of digital media in family interactions. Pre-test results showed that 66% of participants had not yet understood the concept of family communication formally, and only a small portion utilized digital features for emotional communication in daily life. Through a series of interactive counseling sessions, practical training, and simulations (role play), participants were equipped with knowledge and healthy communication skills within the family. Post-activity evaluation through post-test demonstrated significant improvement, with 85% of participants understanding the concept of family communication and being able to recognize the role of verbal and nonverbal language, as well as the impact of gadget use. A total of 76% of participants showed increased emotional awareness toward their partners and children, while 70% were able to apply digital communication techniques such as the use of emoticons and voice messages appropriately. The findings indicate that participatory counseling has proven to have a real impact on forming healthier family communication patterns, while simultaneously playing a role in preventing domestic conflicts and divorce.

Abstract

Kesenian Gong Si Bolong walaupun telah beberapa kali mendapatkan penghargaan di level Provinsi Jawa Barat, namun eksistensinya mengalami potensi penurunan minat di kalangan pemuda sebagi penerus budaya asli di Kota Depok Jawa Barat. Padahal Kesenian Gong Si Bolong banyak sekali mengandung makna bahkan konon mengandung daya magis suara merdu bagi yang mendengarnya. Untuk menjaga kelestarian salah satu budaya di Jawa Barat yang asli Kota Depok, maka Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat IBI Kosgoro 57 melakukan edukasi, motovasi dan penanaman ulang Kesenian Gong Si Bolong di kalangan komunitas pemuda beberapa Karang Taruna Kota Depok. Metode yang digunakan melalui penyuluhan langsung tatap muka dan pelatihan pengetahuan tentang Kesenian Gong Si Bolong dengan hasil yang dicapai antara lain 1) Mengetahui pentingnya budaya seni secara umum dan Kesenian Gong Si Bolong pada khususnya, 2) Menyadari adanya ancaman budaya asing yang akan mengurangi keunikan suatu budaya lokal sebagai pemersatu lintas generasi dan sejarah, 3) Terciptanya komitmen terhadap Kesenian Gong Si Bolong di kalangan komunitas pemuda, 4) Mencetak potensi penerus Kesenian Gong Si Bolong sebagai penerus budaya seni tersebut untuk kelestarian budaya seni suatu bangsa

Abstract

The relocation of the State Capital (IKN) from Jakarta to Nusantara is one of the largest strategic projects initiated by the government. This policy is based on the excessive burden on Jakarta and the economic disparity between Java Island and other regions in Indonesia. The remarkably swift legislative process for the IKN Law has created a public perception that speed was prioritized over thorough deliberation, which has the potential to erode public trust. This study aims to reveal the political metacommunication behind the IKN relocation project. The analysis was conducted to uncover the hidden meanings, power dynamics, and underlying intentions behind political statements and actions related to IKN. This research uses a political metacommunications analysis approach, which serves to uncover the "message within the message" conveyed through verbal and non-verbal cues. The analysis was performed on the official government narrative, public counter-narratives and criticism, and the role of the media in the IKN metacommunication landscape. The findings indicate that the official government narrative attempts to frame IKN as a symbol of progress, equity, and unity, reinforced by the use of symbols like "Nusantara" and "Pohon Hayat". However, this narrative is confronted by a strong counter-narrative from civil society and academics who highlight the rushed legislative process, environmental impacts, and financial ambiguities. These implicit messages point to a "democratic deficit" and "financial vulnerability". The role of the media and social media dynamics also contributes to reinforcing these competing narratives. In conclusion, the legitimacy of the IKN project does not solely depend on the grand vision and physical development, but also on the complex interaction between explicit and implicit messages. The project's success will be determined by the government's ability to align its rhetoric with its actions, building genuine trust and accountability.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the digital marketing communication strategies employed by Bening's Clinic in an effort to increase customer loyalty through its Instagram account. Consumer loyalty plays an important role in a company; retaining consumers means improving performance and maintaining the company's survival, which is the main reason for a company to attract and retain consumers. The research method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with Bening's Clinic management and consumers, as well as documentation. The results show that Bening's Clinic's digital marketing communication strategy through Instagram is effective in increasing customer loyalty. The clinic has succeeded in strengthening its relationship with customers through consistent and interesting content, such as education, testimonials, and relevant promotions. Despite facing challenges such as changes in Instagram's algorithm and fierce competition, Bening's Clinic was able to overcome these obstacles by conducting regular evaluations and innovating in content presentation. With an adaptive and interactive approach, Bening's Clinic's digital strategy succeeded in building trust and encouraging customers to continue using its services.

Abstract

Life in Jakarta reflects complex social phenomenon, especially related to social inequality striking. This research aims to analyze the dynamics of interaction Street buskers as social "actors" through a dramaturgical approach produce social constructions about the phenomena of metropolitan city life. The methodology used is a qualitative study with in-depth interviews and Participatory observation of four buskers aged 16 to 31 years. The research results show that street buskers apply different strategies on the front stage to build a positive image to attract audience, while backstage, they face challenges emotional and economic intangibles. Social stigma and uncertainty income is the main obstacle in their self-development. this finding emphasizes that interaction with the audience does not only function as a source income but also as a means to build meaning and identity. Thus, this research makes an important contribution to understanding public communication and the role of buskers in the socio-cultural context of Jakarta wider.
