Abstract

Keharmonisan keluarga merupakan hal yang penting dalam membangun keutuhan keluarga di tengah maraknya konflik dan perceraian dalam keluarga. Masalah tersebut bersifat global sehingga tidak ada satupun keluarga yang luput dari ancamannya. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dilakukan guna mengantisipasi ancaman tersebut yang berpotensi terjadi di tengah keluarga anak PPA ID0622 Zion Takong. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah dan diskusi guna membangun dialog yang aktual serta relevan dengan pengalaman konteks. Beberapa pokok yang dikemukakan dalam ceramah dan diskusi adalah: pertama, pengertian keharmonisan keluarga; kedua, landasan alkitabiah keharmonisan keluarga; ketiga, Keharmonisan dalam keluarga menurut Efesus 5:22-25; 6:1-4. Hasil dai kegiatan ini adalah peserta memberikan respon positif serta menerima tantangan untuk berkomitmen membangun keluarga yang harmonis. Family harmony is important in building family unity amidst widespread conflict and divorce in the family. This problem is global so that no family is immune from the threat. Community Service Activities were carried out to anticipate this threat which could potentially occur in the family of child PPA ID0622 Zion Takong. The methods used in this activity are lectures and discussions to build dialogue that is actual and relevant to the contextual experience. Some of the points raised in the lectures and discussions were: first, the meaning of family harmony; second, the biblical basis for family harmony; third, harmony in the family according to Ephesians 5:22-25; 6:1-4. The results of this activity were that participants gave positive responses and accepted the challenge to commit to building a harmonious family.

Abstract

This PkM activity is carried out in the context of spiritual formation for groups in the categories of children and adults. One of the focuses is serving children creatively. This is necessary because children's services experience problems in various churches, due to a lack of human resources, but also a lack of creativity in children's services which has an impact on reducing children's interest in attending worship services. These concerns prompted the STT ATI team to carry out PkM activities as a way to overcome them. The activity was carried out at GPPIK "Bukit Torsina" Runut, Landak Regency, West Kalimantan. The methods used in this PkM activity are stories, movements and songs, games, creations, and sermons or lectures. The results of this activity show that the activity had a good impact on the congregation and received a positive response from the local church. Apart from that, children learn new things through creative children's services. Services in the adult category also received a good response.

Abstract

Harmony in the family is an ideal principle in building a household, but this principle is not easy in practice due to various factors, one of which is the problem of ego. The aim of this research is to examine the influence of ego in the turmoil of Christian family life, which on the one hand can create disharmony, nevertheless on the other hand can create harmony. This depends on how to measure ego so that harmony is created among family members. The theological perspective is used in this research as a lens for solving the problem of family harmony. The method used is literature method through analyzing the text according to the research problem. The results of the research shows that ego plays an important role in building family harmony, nevertheless it must be based on theological awareness about the Christian family. However, the ego’s vulnerability to bad influences can harm family harmony, so it must be measured properly to create balance between family members. This can be established through good communication relationships, as well as loving relationships between family members that are based on God’s love.
