Abstract

Metacognitive awareness is a high-level thinking that involves active control over the cognitive processes involved in learning, consisting of two components, namely cognitive knowledge and cognitive regulation. In this study the aim was to assess the relationship between the metacognitive awareness component and student learning outcomes. This study involved 165 medical student respondents at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The results of the study found that the components of cognitive knowledge, namely declarative (p = 0.410), procedural (p = 0.187), and conditional (p = 0.927) did not significantly influence the learning outcomes of medical students (p > 0.05). In the components of cognition regulation, namely planning (p = 0.221), information management strategies (p = 0.514), understanding monitoring (p= 0.996), and evaluation (p = 0.873) did not significantly influence student learning outcomes. While the correction strategy has a significant relationship with learning outcomes (p = 0.01). In the analysis of the total metacognitive awareness score on learning outcomes, it was found that there was no significant relationship (p = 0.510). This means that there is no significant relationship between metacognitive awareness and learning outcomes of medical students at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, both in the components of cognitive knowledge and cognitive regulation.

Abstract

The Government of Indonesia, has established the Drug-Free Village Program (Program Desa Bersih Narkoba – Desa Bersinar) to overcome the problem of drug abuse and illicit trade at the village level. This research aims to assess the effectiveness of the program implementation and map its constraints nationally. It uses descriptive quantitative methods on formal evaluation approaches and constraint mapping methods. We survey BNNP / BNNK's Prevention and Community Empowerment sub-coordinators throughout Indonesia, with 108 participants participating. Using the effectiveness evaluation criteria, based on the success indicators, according to the Desa Bersinar program implementation technical guidelines. The result shows that two factors explain the success of the Desa Bersinar program with an Eigenvalue of 64,118%. This means that the performance of Desa Bersinar can be explained by these two factors with an explanatory ability of 64.118%, while the rest is explained by other factors that have not been identified. Nationally, the Desa Bersinar program implementation has been effective, with index at 61.99%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see what impact nuclear energy has on the environment. The method used is synthesis analysis with a systematic literature review of the data obtained through Google Scholar. This research then makes a review or conclusion based on 20 previous studies that discuss the impact of nuclear energy on the environment. The results showed that nuclear energy had a negative impact on the environment, especially the Chernobyl and Fukushima tragedies. 70% of previous studies explained that nuclear energy has a negative impact on the environment, mainly due to the risk of accidents and the dangers of nuclear fuel waste. Several previous studies have presented mitigations carried out in overcoming the negative impacts of nuclear energy such as health monitoring and increasing safety standards.

The entry of foreigners into Indonesia can improve the economy and increase the country's foreign exchange through tourism and investment. However, if the residence permit given to foreign citizens is misused, it could pose various threats to Indonesia's security. Moreover, currently a circular has been issued regarding administrative convenience for foreign investors. For this reason, strong organizational resilience is needed from immigration agencies, especially the South Jakarta Immigration Office so that they can continue to carry out their immigration functions in the face of incoming threats. The aim of this research is to analyze the organizational resilience of the South Jakarta Immigration Office in dealing with misuse of foreign investors' residence permits. The research method used is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques can take the form of in-depth interviews. The approach used in this research is the organizational resilience approach. The results of this research show that the organizational resilience of the Immigration Office South Jakarta is able to withstand changes in the flow of procedures for foreign investors which creates opportunities for abuse of residence permits. The South Jakarta Immigration Office has tried to fulfill existing demands. However, there are still several shortcomings and limitations in implementing these resilience efforts
