Abstract

Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara penghasil minyak kelapa sawit mentah (CPO) terbesar di dunia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui selektivitas adsorpsi metakaolin teraktivasi Kalium Karbonat (K2CO3) terhadap kadar asam lemak bebas dan beta karoten pada CPO. Selain itu dipelajari juga karakteristik adsorben, kinetika, dan isoterm adsorpsi. Bahan dasar adsorben digunakan adalah kaolin dari Desa Capkala Kalimantan Barat. Pembuatan adsorben dilakukan dengan mengkalsinasi kaolin suhu 600°C sehingga membentuk metakaolin kemudian diaktivasi dengan senyawa K2CO3 dengan konsentrasi 0.5, 1, dan 2 M. Metakaolin yang sudah diaktivasi kemudian dikeringkan dan diaplikasikan untuk menurunkan kadar asam lemak bebas dan beta karoten pada CPO. Kadar asam lemak bebas dan beta karoten pada CPO yang diadsorpsi oleh adsorbent dihitung, kemudian ditentukan selektivitas adsorpsi, kinetika adsorpsi, dan pola adsorpsi isothermalnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selektivitas adsorpsi adsorben lebih banyak menyerap kadar beta karoten dibandingkan kadar asam lemak jenuh pada CPO. Rasio adsorpsi asam lemak bebas dan beta karoten paling baik terdapat pada jenis adsorben metakaolin teraktivasi K2CO3 1 M dengan nilai 2:13 dalam mol/mol. K . Jenis adsorben metakaolin teraktivasi K2CO31 M terbukti paling baik untuk mengadsorpsi beta karoten sebesar 26,15 % dan asam lemak bebas sebesar 2,49 % pada CPO dengan kondisi waktu kontak dan massa adsorben optimum adsorpsi yaitu 60 menit dan massa adsorben 0,4 gram/10 mL CPO. Isoterm adsorpsi asam lemak bebas dan beta karoten memiliki tipe yang sama yaitu isoterm Freundlich. Kinetika adsorpsi asam lemak bebas dan beta karoten memiliki model yang sama yaitu Pseudo orde 2 untuk setiap jenis adsorben.

Abstract

Deep eutectic solvents (DESs) are promising alternatives to traditional electrolytes in electrochemical devices because of their favorable properties, including low volatility, biodegradability, and ease of preparation. This study aimed to optimize a DES composed of choline chloride and urea by investigating the effects of molar ratios and short-chain alcohol additions on viscosity, ionic conductivity, and electrochemical stability. The DES was prepared at 80°C at four molar ratios of choline chloride to urea (1:1, 1:2, 1:3, and 1:4), with a 1:2 ratio optimal for achieving a stable, homogeneous solution. Short-chain alcohols (methanol, ethanol, 1-propanol, and 1-butanol) were added to reduce viscosity and enhance conductivity. The addition of methanol and ethanol effectively lowered the viscosity and increased the ionic conductivity because of their ability to integrate into the DES matrix and disrupt hydrogen bonding. Electrochemical analysis confirmed that the oxidative stability of DESs remained unaffected by these alcohol additions, with oxidation onset consistently at approximately 1 V. These findings demonstrate that methanol and ethanol are suitable additives for improving the performance of DESs as electrolytes in electrochemical applications, enhancing both their conductivity and stability.

Abstract

The 2022 Indonesian Ministry of Health's Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI) revealed four prevalent child malnutrition issues in Indonesia: stunting (27.7%), wasting (7.7%), underweight (17.1%), and overweight (3.5%). One source of nutritious food can be obtained from “air serbat,” presenting an entrepreneurial opportunity for students through the Chemistry Education Student Association (HIMDIKIM). This "air serbat" serves as the base ingredient for an ice cream innovation named “Serbato ice cream,” packaged in 50 mL cups. Following entrepreneur recruitment, the community service initiative proceeded with workshops on production and packaging. Test marketing was conducted five times, including one in Sebuyau, Sarawak, Malaysia. Organoleptic test results indicated positive responses towards color, aroma, and sweetness, with the substitution of packaged coconut milk improving smoothness and consistency. Serbato ice cream has obtained HAKI certificate No. EC00202366602, and its sales have generated a profit of 29.6% for HIMDIKIM.

Abstract

The leaves of Buas-buas or Premna serratifolia (P. serratifolia) have been used in Asian countries to treat inflammation, respiratory disorders, and postnatal recovery. Previous studies have demonstrated its anticancer activity against HT-29 and DLD-1 colon cancer cell lines; however, the isolation approach was selective and did not detect the range of active compounds or their functional groups. This study aims to identify functional groups and active compounds using Ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatography–High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (UHPLC-HRMS) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) without isolation, and to evaluate cytotoxicity against WiDr cells. The research included ethanol extraction of P. serratifolia leaves, fractionation with n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and water, phytochemical, in vitro cytotoxicity assays, and FTIR and UHPLC-HRMS analyses. Phytochemical screening indicated the presence of flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and steroids. Aside from the ethanol extract, all three fractions showed moderate cytotoxic activity, with the ethyl acetate fraction (IC₅₀ = 49.12 μg/mL) selected for further analysis. FTIR spectra revealed functional groups including –OH, C–H, C=O, C=C, –CH₃, C–O, and =C–H. UHPLC-HRMS identified compounds such as luteolin, quercetin, apigenin, kaempferide, aurantioobtusin, isorhamnetin, scrofulein, and 5,7-dihydroxy-6-methoxy-3-phenyl-4H-chromen-4-one in the ethyl acetate fraction, with mass accuracy ranging from –0.53558 to 3.07641 ppm.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at the senior high school (SMA) level emphasizes the execution of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), which instills character values and local wisdom. However, the learning modules utilized in P5 typically draw inspiration from online sources and frequently neglect to incorporate local potential. On the other hand, the increasing prevalence of diabetes in Indonesia has become an urgent public health issue, while the use of local medicinal plants such as kesum (Polygonum minus) has not been widely integrated into contextual learning in schools. This study aimed to develop a research-based e-module on the medicinal plant Kesum (Polygonum minus) as an antidiabetic, integrated with the Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5). The development followed the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through teacher interviews and validation by nine experts in content, media, and language. Validation results indicated that the e-module was highly valid for use, with an average score of 86.82%. The practicality of the e-module was tested in a small group trial (1students), yielding a score of 80.75% (practical category), and in a large group trial (60 students), resulting in a score of 82.45% (highly practical category). The e-module was designed to support project-based learning by addressing local issues, strengthening students’ scientific literacy, and promoting local wisdom values. Therefore, this e-module is considered suitable as a contextual learning resource for implementing P5 in senior high schools.

Abstract

This research aims to develop animated videos media as a digital learning medium to support students’ understanding of the basic laws of chemistry. The study employs the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The develop media is validated by matter experts, media experts, and linguists as well as small-scale and large-scale trials by students. Validation results indicated that the animated videos were included in the category of “Very Valid”, while results of the practicality test by teachers and students placed the media in the category of “Very Practical”. Based on these results, the animated videos are considered very valid and very practical for use as a digital learning medium for improving students’ understanding of the basic laws of chemistry at Taman Mulia Kubu Raya High School.

Abstract

Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar telah ditetapkan oleh Mendikbud RI Nadiem Makarim sejak bulan Desember 2019. Namun, pemerintah kurang memaksimalkan strategi penerapan kebijakan pendidikan sehingga banyak masyarakat yang belum memahami tentang konsep Merdeka Belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan beragam persepsi calon guru PAI tentang konsep pelaksanaan Merdeka Belajar. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian lapangan dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi dengan angket tertutup. Subjek penelitian adalah calon guru PAI mahasiswa semester 5 sebanyak 25 orang dan semester 7 sebanyak 19 orang Prodi PAI FAI UM Pontianak dan berbagai sumber pustaka mengenai Merdeka Belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Para calon guru PAI memiliki persepsi mendukung kebijakan merdeka belajar, mulai dari penggantian ujian nasionan (UN) menjadi asesmen kompetensi minimum dan suvei karakter, memberikan kewenangan sekolah untuk melakukan Ujian Sekolah Berstandar Nasional (USBN), penyederhanaan RPP, dan perluasan zonasi saat PDDB. (2) Para calon guru PAI juga memberikan sarannya kepada pemerintah agar lebih mengoptimalkan tahapan pengimplementasian Merdeka Belajar di masyarakat. Selain itu, para guru PAI juga memberikan saran kepada sesama calon guru serta siswa untuk terus berusaha mengembangkan potensi-potensi yang dimiliki agar dapat menjadi pelaku pendidikan yang kreatif serta inovatif dan dapat mewujudkan kemerdekaan belajar di Indonesia.

Abstract

Kegiatan praktikum masih kurang pelaksanaannya karena berbagai permasalahan seperti tidak tersedianya Laboratorium serta alat bahan pendukung praktikum. Praktikum penting dilakukan untuk memperdalam pemahaman konsep materi serta keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui respons siswa terhadap praktikum sederhana tentang sistem koloid di MAN 2 Kapuas Hulu. Implementasi metode praktikum menggunakan bahan yang mudah di akses. Pengukuran respon siswa terhadap praktiikum sederhana materi sistem koloid menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan mengumpulkan data menggunakan instrumen berupa angket respon setelah melakukan kegiatan praktikum serta analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase. Pernyataan pada angket respon siswa terdiri dari pernyataan ya dan tidak yang berjumlah 10 pernyataan. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 yang berjumlah 16 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan respon positif siswa terhadap praktikum dengan perolehan nilai sebesar 94.38% dengan kriteria sangat tinggi. Kegiatan praktikum pada materi sisem koloid berdampak terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa dan motivasi belajar siswa di MAN 2 Kapuas Hulu. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menganalisis pandangan Sekolah MAN 2 Kapuas Hulu terhadap Program Pengalaman Lapangan Sekolah (PLP 2) sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. PLP 2 dirancang untuk membekali calon guru dengan pengalaman praktis di lingkungan sekolah, memperkuat keterampilan profesional dan pedagogis mereka. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan observasi, kolaborasi dengan pengawas dan kepala sekolah, serta wawancara mendalam dengan guru-guru yang terlibat dalam PLP 2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sekolah MAN 2 Kapuas Hulu memberikan dukungan penuh terhadap implementasi PLP 2, ditandai dengan fasilitas yang memadai dan bimbingan yang komprehensif bagi mahasiswa. Guru-guru merasakan dampak positif dari program ini, terutama dalam meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran melalui adopsi metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dan interaktif. Temuan ini sejalan dengan penelitian terdahulu yang menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi antara guru dan mahasiswa serta dukungan institusi dalam mengoptimalkan pengalaman lapangan untuk pembelajaran yang lebih efektif. Abstract

This research is a descriptive study that generally aims to analyze the results of chemistry learning in the acid-base subject of class XI 4 students at SMKN 4 Pontianak in terms of their learning styles. Students at SMKN 4 Pontianak have varied learning outcomes and different learning methods and styles. Learning styles are very important to know for both teachers and students of class XI APL SMKN 4 Pontianak. With knowledge of learning styles, we can identify and use learning methods that best suit each student's learning preferences. This can result in a better and more effective understanding of the material, as well as increasing satisfaction in the learning process. The instruments for this research are a learning style questionnaire, interview guide. Based on the results of data analysis, information was obtained that the tendency for student learning styles to be dominated by the kinesthetic learning style for unimodal learning styles was 56.25% and the K-V learning style for multimodal learning styles was 18.75%. The students' learning outcomes on the acid-base material taught by the teacher show the following daily average scores: acid-base titration 70.3, Mohr titration 73.9, and redox titration 76.4.
