Abstract

Abstract: The lecturers' teaching methods and competencies vary at IAIN Bukittinggi so that it is important to know the correlation of the lecturers’ teaching methods and competencies to the students’ learning achievement at IAIN Bukittinggi. The method used of this research was quantitative method with ex post facto design. This research involved all lecturers and students of IAIN Bukittinggi as population and the sample was consisted of 40 people. The instrument used to collect the data was closed-questionnaire. The data were processed by scoring and inferential analyzing. The finding indicated that most of the lecturers at IAIN Bukittinggi applied lecture, question-answer, discussion, assignment, and problem solving methods. It was also found that the correlation of the lecturers’ teaching methods and competencies to the students’ achievement was only 2.8%. Therefore, there was low correlation of the lecturers’ teaching methods and competencies to the students’ achievement in IAIN Bukittinggi.Abstrak: Metode dan kompetensi mengajar dosen bervariasi di IAIN Bukittinggi sehingga penting untuk mengetahui hubungan antara metode pengajaran dan kompetensi dosen dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa di IAIN Bukittinggi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto. Penelitian ini melibatkan semua dosen dan mahasiswa IAIN Bukittinggi sebagai populasi dan sampel terdiri dari 40 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah kuesioner tertutup. Data diproses dengan penilaian dan analisis inferensial. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar dosen di IAIN Bukittinggi menerapkan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, penugasan, dan pemecahan masalah. Ditemukan juga bahwa korelasi antara metode pengajaran dan kompetensi dosen dengan prestasi belajar siswa hanya 2,8%. Oleh karena itu, ada korelasi yang rendah antara metode pengajaran dan kompetensi dosen dengan prestasi siswa di IAIN Bukittinggi.

Abstract

This research based on problem that we found in Madrash Ibtidaiyah Negeri I Grade V (Five) B in Pariaman City. There were 15 out of 22 students is passive and rarely communicate during learning. We know that communication is essential activity to make learning more active. The goal of this research is to describe: 1) what kind of communication between teacher and students during learning; 2) learning activity; 3) why student rarely communicate during learning. This research used descriptive qualitative methods. The subject of this research are 22 students and their teacher in Islamic Elementary School I Grade VB in Pariaman City. The data were collected through observation, interview, and document. The result of this research were: 1) there are three kind of communication conducted Madrash Ibtidaiyah Negeri I Grade VB in Pariaman City, those are: one way, two ways, and many ways communication; 2) during learning activity, the teacher more active than the student and most of the student are passive and rarely communicate. In other words, the learning activity focus on teacher; 3) students do not really like some of the course with specific reason in thematic learning

Abstract

Problem solving merupakan metode strategi yang mendorong siswa untuk berpikir dan memanfaatkan wawasan tanpa berfokus pada kualitas ide-ide mereka. Siswa diharapkan lebih aktif karena tidak hanya mendengarkan penjelasan guru, tetapi juga aktif memecahkan masalah yang mereka diskusikan, oleh karena itu seorang guru harus efektif memotivasi siswa untuk mencoba menyuarakan ide-idenya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan analisis data, yaitu secara metodis mencari dan mengumpulkan data dari wawancara, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian ini antara lain mengadopsi metodologi ilmiah dan pendekatan yang berpusat pada siswa untuk menerapkan strategi pemecahan masalah dalam pembelajaran PAI di SDN 06 Pancung Soal. Adanya komunikasi yang baik antara pengajar dan siswa, serta fasilitas pembelajaran yang sesuai, merupakan elemen yang mendukung penerapan teknik pemecahan masalah. Dari segi evaluasi kognitif, emosional, dan psikomotorik, sistem evaluasi penerapan teknik pemecahan masalah dalam pembelajaran PAI di SDN 06 Pancung Soal dilakukan sepanjang proses pembelajaran sampai dengan selesainya pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the condition of PAI teachers in teaching related to the use of instructional media. This study uses a qualitative approach. The instrument of this research is the researcher himself. Key informants are PAI teachers, while supporting informants are principals, teachers and students as well as other informants who are obtained by using snow-ball sampling.The findingsof the study obtained an overview of the conditions of theimplementation of the process of religious learning conducted by the teacher. In this case therelationship with variations in using instructional media. It was found in this study that in generalthe teaching teacher was accustomed to traditional ways and could not use the media. Besidesthat, the instructional media available in schools cannot be used for various reasons. And eventeachers have been satisfied with the teaching conditions that have been carried out for years,so they are not interested in using the right instructional media in accordance with the learningmaterial provided.

Abstract

The high need for Islamic character-based education, both in the learning process and in extracurricular activities, especially in the religious field. Problems found in the field are lack of student time discipline, untidy clothing, ignorance of prayers, inappropriate use of speech, lack of proper lip service, and a high focus on improving student learning competencies alone. This study aims to describe the types of Islamic character-based education programs in religious extracurricular activities in MAN 1 Padang, explain these activities carried out at MAN 1 Padang, and describe the results of Islamic character-based education for students participating in this activity at MAN 1 Padang. Descriptive method is used with a qualitative approach. Data informants are advisors on religious extracurricular activities, principals, deputy heads of student affairs, trainers and students. Data were collected through observation, and interviews, and analyzed through descriptive analysis techniques, and validity testing with data triangulation techniques. The research findings are: type of Islamic character-based education program in extracurricular religious activities in MAN 1 is part of a religious activity program, where the methods and materials used contain Islamic characters, Islamic character-based education is carried out outside hours of curricular activities with a specified time each week, with material developed from Islamic Religion, developed with relevant methods and supported by existing facilities; and religious activities are able to educate the Islamic character of students. The Islamic character is seen from the religious activities of Rohis, Hadrah and Nasyid.

This research is a field research with qualitative descriptive methods. Based on research on the application of critical thinking in 21st Century learning in Islamic Education. The application of critical thinking is seen from the ability of students when thinking critically, students are more active and eager to ask questions, discuss in solving a problem or finding solutions to those problems

Abstract

The purpose of this study is the planning, process, and evaluation of the implementation of the CTL learning model in the learning of Islamic Education at SMPN 31 Padang. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data source used is the primary data source of PAI teachers and students, secondary data sources namely the school principal. Data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation techniques and processed by reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study are, educators have prepared learning in written form, namely the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), curriculum, syllabus, and teaching materials. The process of implementing the CTL learning model, the teacher implements it according to the steps and characteristics contained in the PAI learning with the CTL model, the implementation of this learning is appropriate, but there are still shortages when the teacher applies it, the teacher still needs to improve the implementation of learning in terms of formulating goals, the teacher still often forget in conveying the learning objectives so that students are less purposeful in learning. Evaluation of the implementation of the CTL learning model in Islamic Religious Education learning at SMPN 31 Padang, according to its characteristics, reflects on this, it is done as feedback for the process of improvement and improvement of learning, including assessment in the form of tests.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya buku teks siswa tematik kurikulum 2013 yang beredar di kalangan siswa saat ini. Buku teks yang digunakan oleh guru dan siswa harus relevan dan sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran. Pada kenyataannya buku teks siswa tematik kurikulum 2013 yang beredar saat ini belum di ketahui tingkat kesesuaiannya dengan kompetensi dasar kurikulum 2013. Bedasarkan hal tersebut, maka peneliti terarik untuk meneliti “Kesesuaian Buku Tematik Tema Benda-benda di Sekitar dengan Kompetensi Dasar Kurikulum 2013”. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana tingkat kesesuaian buku teks siswa tematik terpadu tema benda-benda di sekitar kita  dengan kompetensi dasar kurikulum 2013 di kelas V SD/MI.? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesesuaian buku teks siswa tematik terpadu tema benda-benda di sekitar kita  dengan kompetensi dasar kurikulum 2013 di kelas V SD/MI.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan library research dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Dengan instrument penelitian menggunakan daftar check-list dengan bentuk penilaian skala likert. Dengan teknik analisis data content analysis.Hasil penelitian ini pada sub Tema 1 Benda Tunggal dan Campuran dengan nilai kesesuaian sebesar 92%, pada sub tema 2 benda dalam kegiatan ekonomi dengan nilai 96%, subtema 3 manusia dan berada di lingkungannya 88.5%,  subtema 4 kegiatan berbasis literasi dengan nilai kesesuaian 91%.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan agama, pengamalan agama anak binaan, terutama dalam ibadah shalat dan membaca Al Quran, dan meningkatkan kesadaran beragama anak binaan PSAABR Budi Utama Lubuk Alung. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan kepada 75 orang peserta PSAABR dengan mengajarkan anak yang masih belajar Iqra’ hingga mampu membaca Al Qur’an untuk anak tingkatan SMP dan SMA/SMK. Pendekatan kelompok dilakukan pada saat pemberian materi ajar tentang thaharah, whudu, shalat, doa, zikir, membaca Al Quran. Pendekatan individual dilakukan pada saat pengoreksian bacaan shalat dan membantu memecahkan masalah pribadi anak dengan pendekatan individu untuk mendisiplinkan anak dalam praktek ibadah, bimbingan praktek ibadah, metode demonstrasi, modelling, dan role playing, koreksi bacaan shalat, brainstorming masalah keagamaan dan pemberian motivasi. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah terdapat peningkatan pemahaman, pengetahuan, dan pengamalan agama anak binaan, dan terdapat kesadaran beragama bagi anak binaan

Abstract

Pada diri peserta didik telah tertanam suatu sikap atau tingkah laku maka guru atau pendidik dan wali muridlah yang harus menuntun dan mengarahkan mereka untuk berakhlak mulia. Madrasah sebagai salah satu lambang pendidikan Islam dan menjadi loncatan untuk mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan nasional dan mempunyai peranan yang penting dalam mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan nasional. Secara operasional aspek afektif dapat dirumuskan bahwa suatu kegiatan atau cara untuk mencapai tingkah laku yang baik. Jenis penelitian ini yang penulis lakukan adalah bersifat field research dengan metode deskriptif yang menggambarkan tentang pencapaian aspek afektif pembelajaran akidah akhlak di MTsN Limbanang Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. Hasil penelitian yang penulis lakukan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah MTsN Limbanang Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota sesuai dengan hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang penulis lakukan tentang beberapa hal yaitu aspek afektif yang harus dicapai dalam pembelajaran akidah akhlak, pengawasan guru terhadap siswa di lapangan atau di luar jam sekolah, dan kendala pencapaian aspek afektif dalam pembelajaran akidah akhlak.
