Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the deconstruction of the meaning of the concept in the collection of poems Happy Performing Poetry Worship by Joko Pinurbo. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Research data collection techniques used library study techniques, while data analysis techniques were more dominantly carried out to look at the interweaving of results of interpretation and description qualitatively. The results of the study show that there are 12 concepts of meaning that experience deconstruction which gives birth to an independent meaning that disassembles the stability of the concept of meaning in a contradictory manner. Twelve deconstructions of the concept of meaning in the poetry collection is identified as deconstruction through paradox, irony, and contradiction of the concept of meaning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strukturasi kekuasaan dan kekerasan simbolik yang terjadi dalam novel Tempurung karya Oka Rusmini. Fokus penelitian yaitu 1) strukturasi kekuasaan; dan 2) kekerasan simbolik dalam novel Tempurung karya Oka Rusmini. Penelitian ini menggunakan perspektif Pierre Bourdieu untuk menemukan strukturasi kekuasaan dan kekerasan simbolik. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Data penelitian yakni strukturasi kekuasaan dan kekerasan simbolik. Sumber data adalah kutipan, kalimat dan paragraf yang  terdapat dalam novel Tempurung karya Oka Rusmini. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik pustaka, baca dan catat. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mengidentifikasi, mengklasifikasi, menganalisis, mendeskripsikan dan menyimpulkan hasil analisis data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pertama terdapat strukturasi kekuasaan dalam novel Tempurung karya Oka Rusmini yakni (1) adanya keempat modal di dalam novel tersebut yakni modal ekonomi, modal sosial, modal budaya dan simbolik. Namun, modal yang paling berpengaruh yakni modal sosial. (2) kelas-kelas di dalam novel Tempurung karya Oka Rusmini di pengaruhi oleh modal yang mereka miliki. Agen yang memiliki modal yang paling banyak dan habitus yang berpihak kepada mereka menduduki kelas dominan, sementara kelas bourjuis kecil diduduki oleh para agen yang memiliki ambisi untuk  menaiki tangga sosial, kelas ini memiliki modal yang lebih banyak dari kelas popular, namun bukan berarti mereka tidak menerima kekerasan simbolik. Selanjutnya, kelas popular berisikan agen yang memiliki modal paling sedikit, sehingga paling sering mendapatkan kekerasan simbolik. (3) habitus dalam novel Tempurung karya Oka Rusmini merupakan habitus sosial yang terdapat dalam masyarakat Bali. (4) ranah yang terdapat dalam novel Tempurung karya Oka Rusmini yakni ranah sosial masyarakat Bali.  Kedua kekerasan simbolik dalam Novel Tempurung karya Oka Rusmini menggunakan mekanisme eufemisme dan sensorik. Kekerasan simbolik yang paling banyak terjadi yakni kekerasan simbolik yang dilakukan oleh para agen pemilik modal sosial seperti orang tua terhadap anaknya dan hubungan sosial lainnya.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the personality dynamics of the characters in the novel Harapan Di Atas Sajadah by Mawar Malka. The theory used is Jungian psychology, namely the theory of the importance of consciousness and the unconscious to form a complete person in relation to experiences and relationships with the Creator. The research method used a qualitative descriptive method. The research data is in the form of quotes through dialogue between characters and stories that describe the dynamics of personality in terms of the principles of interaction, function, and purpose of using psychic energy. The results of the research and discussion show that (1) the dynamics of personality in terms of the principles of interaction consist of the principles of opposition, compensation, and merger. This principle becomes the basis for the dynamics of personality that initially has a bad personality to become better, (2) personality dynamics in terms of the function of using psychic energy, namely the strength of enthusiasm, desire, and will, (3) personality dynamics in terms of the purpose of using psychic energy consisting of progressions and regressions. The personal progression of a character displays two types of personality, namely an extroverted attitude (open) and an introverted attitude (closed). Thus, the dynamics of the character's personality show significant changes. Changes related to social problems and their relationship with the Creator for the better.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the structural elements and the author's world view in the novel Pulang by Tere Liye. The data analysis technique uses the dialectical method which is a type of research in the sociology of literature through a genetic structuralism approach. The results of the study present an explanation of the structural elements of the novel Pulang by Tere Liye in the form of identifying the intrinsic elements (plot, characters, characterizations, setting, point of view, and themes) and the extrinsic elements of the novel (socio-economic background), the author's social life related to the novel ( background of personality, education, culture, and experience), and views of Tere Liye as the author of the novel Pulang (the reality of the shadow economy, the reality of domination and hegemony, moral and moral awareness, and the importance of education and family).

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai moral dalam hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri, hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain serta hubungan manusia dengan tuhan dalam novel Sebening Syahadat karya Diva Sinar Rembulan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kutipan-kutipan novel sebening syahadat karya Diva Sinar Rembulan. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa nilai moral yang terdapat dalam novel Sebening Syahadat karya Diva Sinar Rembulan terdiri dari tiga yaitu (1) nilai moral dalam hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri yakni meliputi menerima kenyataan, kejujuran, teguh pada pendirian, mengakui kesalahan dan renda hati. (2) nilai moral dalam hubungan manusia dengan manusia lainnya meliputi: kasih sayang anak terhadap orang tua, kasih sayang orang tua terhadap anak, kasih sayang antar kakak dan adik, kasih sayang antar teman atau kerabat, saling menolong, saling menghargai, dan saling menasehati. (3) nilai moral dalam hubungan manusia dengan tuhannya meliputi; bersyukur kepada tuhan, menjalankan sholat, menjauhi larangan tuhan, dan berserah diri kepada tuhan. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah nilai moral dalam novel Sebening Syahadat karya Diva Sinar Rembulan terdapat tiga bentuk nilai moral yaitu (1) hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri, (2) hubungan manusia dengan manusia lainnya dan, (3) hubungan manusia dengan tuhannya. Kata kunci: Nilai, MoraL, Novel, Sebening Syahadat ABSTRACT This study’s objective was to describe moral values of human relationships with oneself, others, and God in a novel entitled Sebening Syahadat by Diva Sinar Rembulan. The study employed qualitative descriptive method, with quotations from the novel as the data of this study. The findings and discussion revealed the moral values contained in the novel consists of three moral values in human relationships: (1) with oneself, namely in the form of accepting reality, honesty, firm ideals, admitting mistakes, and humble. (2) with other human beings, including children's affection for parents, parents ' affection for children, affection between brothers and sisters, affection between friends or relatives, helping one another, respecting each other, and advising one another. (3) with God are in the form of gratitude to God, performing prayers, avoiding prohibitions, and submissiveness to God. The conclusion of this study is the moral value in the novel Sebening Syahadat which consists of three values in human relationships: (1) with oneself, (2) with other humans, (3) with God. Abstract

Abstract The novel entitled Not Semillah by Nadine T is interesting to study, because of the inner conflict of the main character that appears in the novel Not Semillah. The inner conflict raised is the dynamics of human life which has very complex problems, especially problems in household life. This study aims to: (1) describe the forms of inner conflict, (2) the causes of the main character's inner conflict contained in Nadine T's novel Not Semillah.This study uses a literary psychology approach with Kurt Lewin's theory. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The data in this study is the inner conflict of the main character which is presented in the form of quotations in the form of stories in the novel. The data source is the novel Not Semillah by Nadine T. The data collection technique is carried out by reading and taking notes. Data analysis techniques were carried out by re-reading the data that had been collected, classifying, analyzing, and concluding the results of the research.The results of the research and discussion include, types of inner conflict, the causes of inner conflict in the novel Not Semillah by Nadine T. The types of inner conflict experienced by the main character include: (1) conflict getting closer, which occurs when the main character is faced with the same two choices - equally liked, (2) distance-away conflict, occurs when the main character is faced with two choices that are equally disliked, and (3) approach-away conflict occurs when the main character is faced with two choices that contain elements he likes and dislikes he liked. There are five forces that cause conflict, namely: (1) driving forces, (2) inhibiting forces, (3) personal needs, (4) influencing forces, and (5) non-human forces. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini menggunakan teori psikologi sastra dengan penerapan psikologi kepribadian H. S. Sullivan. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kecemasan tokoh utama yang diuraikan dari kutipan-kutipan melalui dialog antar tokoh maupun cerita dalam novel Jalan Tak Ada Ujung karya Mochtar Lubis. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni membaca secara utuh dan berulang-ulang dengan teknik catat. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan cara mengklasifikasi data sesuai dengan substansi masalah, Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kecemasan tokoh utama ditinjau dari segi dinamisme dalam novel Jalan Tak Ada Ujung karya Mochtar Lubis terdiri dari tujuh klasifikasi, yaitu kognitif, ketakutan, birahi, tertutup, gelisah, kepedulian dan reflektif, (2) kecemasan tokoh utama ditinjau dari segi personifikasi terdiri dari dua yakni personifikasi membangkitkan image positif dan negatif, dan (3) kecemasan tokoh utama ditinjau dari segi sistem self yakni cara yang dilakukan tokoh utama untuk melindungi diri dari rasa cemas. Kata-kata kunci: Kecemasan, Tokoh Utama, Psikologi Kepribadian.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the form of transfer of vehicles in the plot of the film to the novel “Seperti Dendam, Rindu Harus Dibayar Tuntas” Completely by Eka Kurniawan based on literary ecranization in the form of subtractions, additions and changes in variations. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, namely describing the form of transfer of vehicles in the plot and characterization of the novel “Seperti Dendam rindu Harus Dibayar Tuntas” Completely by Eka Kurniawan. The data in this research is in the form of quotes of words, sentences and dialogue in novels and films which show forms of reduction, addition and change in variations in films and novels “Seperti Dendam Rindu Harus Dibayar Tuntas”. The data sources in this research are the novel “Seperti Dendam Rindu Harus Dibayar Tuntas” completely by Eka Kurniawan, tenth print in October 2019 published by PT Gramedia Pustaka Utama which consists of 245 pages and the novel film “Seperti Dendam Rindu Harus Dibayar Tuntas” completely, directed by Edwin in 2021. Collection The data was carried out using the technique of watching, reading and making data descriptions in the form of plots of novels and films”Seperti Dendam Rindu Harus Dibayar Tuntas”. The data analysis technique is carried out by describing the forms of reduction, addition, change in variations based on the context of literary ecranization both in the storyline and other elements. The results of this research show that changing a literary work into a new literary work certainly experiences differences, considering that changing the form of a novel into a film certainly becomes a new vehicle which causes the development of the storyline to be different.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini difokuskan pada penggunaan disfemia oleh netizen yang terdapat dalam kolom komentar akun instagram tempodotco pada rubrik politik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk disfemia dan konteks penggunaan disfemia oleh netizen di kolom komentar akun instagram tempodotco pada rubrik politik. Data dari penelitian ini adalah kalimat-kalimat yang mengandung disfemia. Sumber data adalah kolom komentar akun instagram tempodotco pada rubrik politik pada postingan dari tanggal 01 Oktober sampai dengan 30 November 2021. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan data-data yang mengandung disfemia dalam kolom komentar akun instagram tempodotco pada rubrik politik sebanyak 135 data. Data-data tersebut dikelompokkan ke dalam bentuk-bentuk disfemia berupa kata dan ungkapan. Bentuk disfemia berupa kata terbagi atas kata dasar, kata berimbuhan, dan kata reduplikasi. Adapun konteks dari penggunaan disfemia oleh netizen ini muncul dikarenakan adanya perasaan tidak mengenakkan berupa marah dan kesal netizen ketika membaca postingan mengenai politik pada akun instagram tempodotco. Kata Kunci : Kebahasaan, Disfemia, Tempodotco, Politik, Instagram Abstract The study’s scope was the use of dysphemia by netizens in the comment column of the tempodotco Instagram account in the political section. This study’s objective was to describe the forms and the context of the use of dysphemia by netizens in the comment column of the tempodotco Instagram account in the political section. The data source comprised the comments column of tempodotco Instagram account in the political section from October 1st to November 30th, 2021. The findings showed that 135 data contained dysphemism in the above account. The data were grouped into dysphemism forms in words and expressions. The form of dysphemism is divided into basic, affixed, and reduplication words. Netizens’ use of dysphemism arises from their unpleasant emotion of anger and frustration when reading political posts on the tempodotco Instagram account. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji prosesi pernikahan suku Bolango yang memiliki simbol-simbol verbal dan nonverbal. Tujuannya adalah menjelaskan makna simbol-simbol tersebut dalam prosesi pernikahan adat suku Bolango di Molibagu, Bolaang Mongondow Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa simbol verbal terdiri dari puisi tuja'i, sedangkan simbol nonverbal meliputi objek tradisional seperti ongkos pernikahan, mas kawin, alat sholat, bedak, lipstik, dan perangkat lainnya. Prosesi pernikahan adat suku Bolango perlu dijaga agar adat dan tradisi tetap terjaga. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi referensi bagi peneliti yang akan mengkaji pernikahan suku Bolango
