Abstract

Listening skills are one of the essential language competencies in learning Bahasa Indonesia. However, challenges still persist in delivering material that aligns with students' needs. Therefore, there is a need for innovative learning media to enhance listening skills. This study aims to describe the steps and stage of using Podsimak, an instructional innovation based on Google Podcast, as well as its impact on the listening skills of eighth-grade students at SMP Islam Darussalam. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques including participant observation and semi-structured interviews. The findings indicate that the learning process is carried out in three systematic stages: (1) pre-listening, (2) while-listening, and (3) post-listening. These stages are integrated into the use of the Podsimak application and show a positive effect on students' abilities to identify main ideas, extract detailed information, and summarize audio content. Thus, Podsimak can serve as an alternative digital learning medium that is contextual and aligned with 21st-century educational needs.

Abstract

Metode story prompt adalah pembelajaran dengan rangsangan berupa gambar yang dijadikan sebagai langkah awal untuk mendapatkan sebuah ide saat menulis cerita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode story prompt. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah deskripsi dan interpretasi data kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat empat tahapan proses pembelajaran, penyajian story prompt, penyajian story prompt, pembuatan kerangka, dan penulisan cerita. Penggunakan metode story prompt dengan lima gambar bertema “Kesadaran Lingkungan” dapat mengasah keterampilan menulis teks cerpen ekologi siswa. Hasil pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode story prompt menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode tersebut efektif dalam mengasah keterampilan menulis teks cerpen ekologi siswa. Tidak hanya itu, metode story prompt juga berhasil memadukan kegiatan mengasah keterampilan menulis dengan peningkatan kesadaran lingkungan dalam bentuk karya tulis berupa cerita

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum in the local content of the Madurese language at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in Pamekasan Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results show that the application of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum in the local content of the Madurese language faces several challenges, including a lack of resources, teacher training, and support facilities. However, there are efforts from the school to integrate cultural values and local wisdom into the learning process. This study recommends the need for improved coordination between the local government, schools, and the community to optimize curriculum implementation and provide adequate training for teachers to effectively teach the Madurese language. The findings of this research are expected to contribute to the development of regional language education in Indonesia, particularly in the context of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum.

Abstract

The application of ecological construction in Indonesian language and literature learning is a significant effort to integrate environmental awareness into the educational process. This study aims to explore how ecological construction is applied in language and literature learning at MA Ummul Quro Putri Pamekasan using a descriptive qualitative method and a naturalistic approach. Data were collected through observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, involving teachers, students, and school principals as primary data sources. Based on the theory of ecological construction, which emphasizes the reciprocal relationship between humans, the environment, and culture, the study found that ecological construction was implemented by integrating environmental themes into learning materials, using teaching resources relevant to ecological issues, and engaging students in discussions that connect literature with environmental awareness. Teachers act as facilitators, encouraging students to relate learning to the ecological realities around them. Furthermore, ecological construction-based learning effectively enhances students' critical thinking, imagination, creativity, and instills sustainability values. The study concludes that implementing ecological construction positively impacts students' understanding of the importance of maintaining a balance between humans, nature, and culture, contributing to the development of holistic, sustainability-oriented learning approaches.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has had a substantial impact on the field of education, particularly in the strategies used by educators to deliver material in the classroom. This research aims to analyze and explain how interactive animation-based videos are used in news text learning for 11th-grade students at SMAN 1 Galis. The method applied is descriptive qualitative. data collection techniques thru observation and interviews at that school. Data sources include eleventh-grade students, Indonesian language teachers, and journal and book references. The research results show that the use of interactive animated video media is very effective in increasing students' enthusiasm and learning outcomes. This is because the teacher implemented several steps to maximize the use of this media in learning activities. The use of interactive animated videos in teaching news text also indirectly contributes to strengthening students' listening, speaking, and writing abilities. Therefore, this medium has a significant positive impact on learning news text among eleventh-grade students at SMAN 1 Galis.

Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly changed the dynamics of technology entrepreneurship and digital innovation across various sectors. However, technological development often places greater emphasis on efficiency and economic growth, while neglecting the cultural and spiritual dimensions that influence human-centered innovation. The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between technology entrepreneurship, culture, and spirituality in the era of artificial intelligence from a cultural perspective. This study uses a qualitative approach with conceptual and literature-based methods to analyze relevant academic sources related to AI-based entrepreneurship, cultural values, and spiritual ethics. The findings indicate that artificial intelligence plays a crucial role in expanding technopreneurial innovation. First, artificial intelligence (AI) drives technopreneurial innovation. Second, culture is a defining value in human-oriented technological innovation. Third, spirituality defines the ethical values ​​of responsible technology entrepreneurship in the use of artificial intelligence (AI). Therefore, the integration of technology entrepreneurship, culture, and spirituality offers a holistic framework to guide sustainable and responsible technology development in the era of artificial intelligence.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and artificial intelligence in the era of Industry 4.0 has brought significant changes to children’s lives, particularly in how they interact, learn, and build moral awareness thereby creating an urgent need for technology ethics education from an early age. Studies on futuristic children’s literature have mostly focused on representations of technology, digital literacy, and future imagination, while the integration of technology ethics and children’s spirituality remains limited. This study aims to examine how futuristic children’s literature represents spirituality-based technology ethics education through narratives that build digital-spiritual ethical awareness and the imagination of future ethics. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with narrative analysis of the novel The Wild Robot by Peter Brown. The findings indicate that futuristic children’s literature is able to fosters ethical awareness through relationships, empathy, and self-restraint, and project the imagination of future ethics oriented toward moral responsibility.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of Islam and science in university-level language learning. The purpose of this research is to identify integrative teaching strategies, evaluate their impact on students’ holistic understanding and critical thinking skills, and explore the challenges encountered during implementation. A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving in-depth interviews with lecturers and students and an analysis of curriculum documents. The theoretical framework is grounded in the theory of knowledge integration, contextual teaching and learning, and constructivism. Results indicate that lecturers successfully combine linguistic concepts with Islamic values and scientific principles, enhancing students’ overall understanding and fostering critical and creative thinking. Additionally, contextualizing language courses with an Islamic perspective and using Quranic verses as reference materials adds an ethical dimension to the learning process. However, challenges include limited comprehensive academic resources, insufficient lecturer training, student resistance to multidisciplinary approaches, and inadequate institutional policy support. In conclusion, integrating Islam and science effectively enriches the learning experience, provided that improvements in academic resources and institutional policies are implemented.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebermanfaatan media Wordwall dalam evaluasi pembelajaran pada teks prosedur serta untuk mengetahui hasil belajar. Siswa setelah menggunakan media Wordwall. Penelitian ini hanya membahas sampai pada tahap pemanfaatan media wordwall dalam evaluasi pembelajaran, hasil data evaluasi pembelajaran serta respon siswa terhadap pemanfaatan media wordwall saja. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan beberapa cara, yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada permainan 1) pengurutan grup rata-rata nilai siswa yaitu 91,5 yang membuktikan kategori “Sangat baik”. 2) Permainan kartu lampu kilat yaitu dengan rata-rata nilai 100 yang masuk kategori “Sangat baik”. 3) Permainan memukul tikus mondok (Whack a-mole) yaitu dengan memperoleh rata-rata nilai siswa 79,17 masuk kategori “Baik” dan dapat dikatakan bahwa permainan yang terakhir ini hanya sebagai refleksi pembelajaran saja. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa pemanfaatan media Wordwall dalam evaluasi pembelajaran materi teks prosedur dapat dikatakan berhasil dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the responses and learning outcomes of students through Wordwall-based formative evaluation in explanatory text learning. Various challenges in 21st-century learning require evaluation innovations that not only measure academic achievement, but are able to foster active involvement, collaboration, and overall student learning motivation. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) design of the Kemmis and McTaggart model with a descriptive qualitative approach, involving 27 ninth-grade students of Nasyrul Ulum Middle School as purposively selected subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation with expert-validated instruments, analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, and validated through triangulation and member check techniques. The results show an increase in student understanding from 61.11% in cycle I to 80.22% in cycle II, accompanied by enthusiasm, active participation, and higher learning motivation. Wordwall has been proven to be effective in producing interactive and interactive evaluations, as well as other digital media as innovative alternatives in learning.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan respons dan hasil belajar siswa melalui evaluasi formatif berbasis Wordwall dalam pembelajaran teks eksplanasi.Berbagai tantangan dalam pembelajaran abad ke-21 menuntut adanya inovasi evaluasi yang tidak hanya mengukur capaian akademik, tetapi juga mampu menumbuhkan keterlibatan aktif, kolaborasi, dan motivasi belajar siswa secara menyeluruh.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, melibatkan 27 siswa kelas IX SMP Nasyrul Ulum sebagai subjek yang dipilih secara purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi dengan instrumen yang divalidasi ahli, dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman, serta divalidasi melalui teknik triangulasi dan member check.Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa dari 61,11% pada siklus I menjadi 80,22% pada siklus II, disertai antusiasme, partisipasi aktif, dan motivasi belajar yang lebih tinggi.Wordwall terbukti efektif menciptakan evaluasi yang interaktif dan bermakna, serta mendorong pengembangan media evaluasi digital lainnya sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran.
