Abstract

Brunei Darussalam yang menjadi fokus dalam pembahasan ini merupakan salah satu negara kecil di Asia Tenggara jika dibandingkan dengan negara tetangganya Malaysia dan Indonesia. Sebelum lebih jauh membahas tentang perkembangan pendidkan di negara tersebut, terlebih dahulu diuraikan perkembangan Islam sebagai bagian yang tak terpisahkan dalam pembahasan tentang perkembangan pendidikan di negara yang dimaksud. Penelitian ini merupakan peneliatian pustaka (libarary research). Yang mana penelitian pustaka ini dilakukan diberbagai pustaka atau museum terhadap baha-bahan berupa buku-buku, majalah atau dokumen lainnya. Pembahasan tentang pendidikan merupakan hal yang amat menarik karena manusia sebagai subjek juga sekaligus sebagai objeknya. Perkembangan pendidikan pada setiap negara hampir tidak ada yang sama persis antara satu dengan lainnya, masing-masing memiliki ciri khas dan keunikan tersendiri terutama di Negara Brunei Darussalam. Brunei Darussalam merupakan salah satu negara di kawasan Asia Tenggara yang terkenal sangat makmur. Brunei Darussalam yang merupakan anggota ke-6 ASEAN ini mendapatkan kemerdekaannya dari Inggris pada tanggal 1 Januari 1984. Kepala negara Brunei Darussalam adalah seorang Sultan yang sekaligus sebagai Kepala Pemerintahan (Perdana Menteri). Sistem Pendidikan Pemerintah Brunei menetapkan tiga bidang utama dalam pendidikan, yaitu: sistem dwi bahasa di sekolah, konsep Melayu Islam Beraja dalam kurikulum sekolah dan peningkatan sumber daya manusia termasuk pendidikan kejuruan dan teknik. Sistem pendidikan di Brunei memiliki banyak kesamaaan sengan negara lainnya seperti Inggris, Malaysia, Singapura sebagai sesama negara persemakmuran dan lain-lain.

Abstract

This study aims to describe in depth the planning, implementation, supporting and inhibiting factors, and evaluation of the application of expository learning strategies in improving the quality of students' memorization of the Qur'an at Adzkia 1 Padang Integrated Islamic Elementary School. This research uses qualitative methods through a descriptive approach, the type of research used is field research. The results showed that Adzkia 1 Padang Integrated Islamic Elementary School has designed the implementation of learning in stages, starting from preparation, opening activities, core activities (including murajaah together and memorization deposits), to closing activities. Some of the supporting factors for the successful implementation of expository strategies include a conducive learning environment, grouping students based on ability, and choosing strategies that are considered easier for teachers and students. However, there are also some inhibiting factors such as boredom in learning, lack of independent murajaah, and lack of cooperation with parents. Thus, learning evaluation is carried out regularly through mutabaah books, weekly evaluations, and comprehensive exams. The evaluation results show an increase in the quality of memorization of the Qur'an in most students.

Abstract

A learning strategy is a method chosen to convey lesson material. For this reason, strategy has a very influential position in the learning process. In this research, the author tested the Everyone Is A Teacher Here Strategy in Increasing Students' Learning Activeness and Independence in Islamic Religious Education and Character Subjects in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 23 Kerinci. The aim of this research is to determine the increase in learning activeness and learning independence of students in Islamic Religious Education and Character Education subjects in class VIII SMP Negeri 23 Kerinci after implementing the everyone is a teacher here strategy. The type of research carried out is quasi experiment. The research subjects were students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 23 Kerinci who were registered in semester 2 (even) of the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 134 people. The research sample was chosen randomly consisting of an experimental class and a control class with a sample size of 34 people for each class. The research variables consist of one independent variable, namely; The Everyone Is A Teacher Here strategy and the two dependent variables, namely, Learning Activeness and Independence used are questionnaires. Hypothesis testing is carried out to determine the significant effect of the strategy implemented. The results of data analysis show that (1) There is a significant increase in students' learning activeness in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education and Character in class VIII SMP Negeri 23 Kerinci after implementing the Everyone Is A Teacher Here strategy. The results of hypothesis testing are statistically significant because the tcount value (5.683) > ttable value (1.669), so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted; (2) There was a significant increase in students' learning independence in Islamic Religious Education and Character Education subjects in class VIII of SMP Negeri 23 Kerinci after implementing the Everyone Is A Teacher Here strategy. The results of hypothesis testing are statistically significant because the tcount value (5.148) > ttable value (1.669), so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas mengenai pendidikan dengan focus penelitian kepada Madrasah Insan Cendikia dan MAPK. Lahirnya madrasah di Indonesia disebabkan oleh adanya hubungan tarik menarik antara pendidikan tradisonal yang mengajarkan pengetahuan agama dengan pendidikan modern yang mengajarkan pengetahuan umum. Berdasarkan hal ini maka dibentuklah sistem pendidikan yang memberikan pengajaran ilmu umum dan agama, yang saat ini disebut dengan madrasah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi pustaka (library research). Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah           Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendikia merupakan madrasah model untuk menyambut tajntangan modernisasi sekaligus mempertahankan nilai tradisi pondok pesantren (Islamic boarding school). Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendikia sebagai madrasah yang mengembangkan sekaligus menyeimbangkan imtak (iman-takwa) dan IPTEK. Madrasah Aliyah Program Khusus (MAPK) merupakan madrasah yang memberikan penekanan pada ilmu-ilmu keislaman yaitu dengan memakai pengantar bahasa asing (Inggris dan Arab).

Abstract

The central issue in this research is that education in Indonesia tends to place more emphasis on cognitive and psychomotor aspects so that there is less implementation of affective aspects. This results in a lack of instilling character education, resulting in an identity crisis such as the erosion of attitudes of honesty and politeness, which gives rise to various problems such as student delinquency. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of book values Ta'lim Muta'alim to develop the moral character of students through social values. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research results reveal the implementation of book values Ta'lim Muta'alim to develop the moral character of students through social values. Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School prioritizes humbled and practice nature Ta'zim. Moral teachings included in the book Ta'lim Muta'allim Brought to life and realized, because the character of the students is suppressed and must be embedded in them at all times. Contained in the Kitab Ta'lim Muta'alim towards developing the character of students through exposure to national ideals. Being aware of national values ??that others should know about, saying congratulations, offering gifts, offering help, having a kind and polite attitude, and showing greater devotion to a sick friend are examples. Caring for and helping his friends. Female students are also aware of boundaries, even in their interactions with each other.

Abstract

This research is to produce graduates who are willing and able to carry out the commands of Allah and His Messenger, stay away from all the prohibitions of Allah and His Messenger, love their nation, and have adequate life skills according to their time. This research is field research using descriptive methods. Results The research is as follows: i) forms of developing students' Islamic character, namely, coaching by example, instilling disciplinary values, coaching by habituation, environmental conditioning, and integration-internalization. ii) forms of Worship Habits, namely, Tahfizh Quran, Dhuha Prayer, Reading Prayers Together, Carrying out Zuhr and Asr Prayers in Congregation and getting used to the Morning and Evening Recitation of Al-Ma'tsurat. iii) the form of Mahabbatul Quran, namely, Recitations of the Quran, Understanding the Quran and Tadabbur Quran iv) the form of Community Service, namely by getting to know the community more closely, improving the quality of relationships with the community and practicing critical thinking. in interacting and communicating with others. v) supporting factors consist of parental support, teachers who have been trained, all teachers are coaches and school culture. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the personality characteristics of students, limited time because there are 2 curricula implemented, namely the National Curriculum and the Curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Muhammadiyah dan Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) dalam kemajuan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan (library research), menggunakan data dari buku, artikel ilmiah, dan jurnal yang relevan. Proses analisis dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu pemilihan informasi penting (reduksi data), pengelompokan tematik (penyajian data), dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis untuk mengeksplorasi kontribusi masing-masing organisasi, serta metode komparatif untuk membandingkan inovasi pendidikan Muhammadiyah dengan tradisi pesantren NU. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Muhammadiyah telah berhasil mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam dengan ilmu pengetahuan modern, sehingga menciptakan institusi pendidikan formal yang relevan dan inklusif. Di sisi lain, NU memainkan peran penting dalam mempertahankan tradisi Islam melalui pesantren dan madrasah berbasis nilai-nilai lokal. Meskipun memiliki pendekatan berbeda, kedua organisasi memiliki kesamaan dalam memperkokoh nilai-nilai Islam di masyarakat serta membentuk karakter generasi muda. Penelitian ini juga mengungkap potensi sinergi antara Muhammadiyah dan NU untuk membangun sistem pendidikan Islam yang lebih relevan, inklusif, dan berkelanjutan dalam menjawab tantangan era modern. Kajian ini memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan yang memanfaatkan keunggulan masing-masing organisasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan pemerataan akses pendidikan Islam di Indonesia, sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat yang semakin kompleks.
