Abstract

This research on plurality was carried out toward two Indonesian state universities (PTN) students, namely IAIN Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung and Bangka Belitung University.  This research aimed at finding out an idea of how the attitude of these PTN students in Bangka Belitung in dealing with the plurality. This quantitative research found that IAIN students are more exclusive as far as the belief system is concerned. Whereas in the context of inclusiveness, IAIN students are more inclusive in the belief that every religion contains truth and UBB students hold the same opinion. Regarding the attitude of students, UBB students are more pluralist in terms of rejecting missionaries, while the students of the IAIN are more pluralist in terms of the purpose of the truth of each religious teaching. Moreover, UBB students are more universalist in their view that religions are different because of historical factors. While in the moderate category of 2.76%, there are no intolerant students. Based on the results of various tests (t-test), it is shown that there are significant differences between IAIN and UBB students.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu „mesin‟ yang memproduksi sumber daya manusia yang unggul dan berdayasaing global. Produk pendidikan tersebut dapat terwujud secara nyata dan berkualitas hanya jika didukung oleh guru-guru yang sadar akan profesinya („melek profesi‟). Pemerintah sebagai pelindung masyarakat juga harus secara maksimal mengambil peran dalam mendukung upaya-upaya pengembangan professional guru. Dengan guru-guru yang dinamis berkembang mengkuti perkembangan IPTEK kualitas sumber daya manusia secara linier juga berkembang menuju titik puncak tujuan pendidikan nasional.Alokasi anggaran pendidikan yang mendukung peningkatan kualitas guru harus menjadi titik sentral selain daya dukung pendidikan lainnya. Peberian training (on atau off) kepada guru harus diprogram secara tepat sasaran dan berkelanjutan. Sehingga guru-guru sebagai sosok terdekat dengan siswa mampu menghadirkan pembelajaran efektif ke dalam kelas dan mendukung mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

Al-Qur’an adalah kitab suci umat Islam. Seorang yang beragama Islam wajib menjadikan Al Qur’an sebagai pedoman hidup. Salah satu bentuk pendalaman Al Qur’an adalah menghafalkannya melalui program tahfidz.Tujuan menghafal Al Qur’an tidak hanya memindahkan teks atau alqur’an ke dalam otak tetapi agar terjadi internalisasi isi Al Qur’an kepada penghafalnya sehingga tercipta generasi Qur’ani. Artikel ini merupakan literatur review. Metode muroja’ah tahfidzul Qur’an dengan model simaan estafet memberikan kontribusi pada peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa. Metode muroja’ah simaan estafet efektif untuk menjaga agar hafalan tidak hilang dan metode muroja’ah dapat mempercepat dan meningkatkan hafalan siswa/santri baik kualitas dan kuantitasnya. Al Qur’an berisi pondasi dan prinsip sehingga dengan Al Qur’an mampu membentuk karakter individu dan membantu individu untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan otak. Aktifitas menghafal Al Qur’an memicu otak untuk mengeluarkan gelombang otak. Frekuensi gelombang otak ini mengalami perubahan sesuai dengan ayat atau surah yang dibaca. Gelombang otak ini mempunyai fungsi untuk meningkatkan kekuatan otak. Siswa yang sering mendengarkan dan atau membaca Al Qur’an akan meningkatkan daya kreatifitas. Aktifitas menghafal Al Qur’an terbukti mempunyai pengaruh yang positif terhadap nilai akademik ujian nasional pada matapelajaran matematika, bahasa Inggris dan bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

The era of disruption has brought about the impact of fundamental changes in the digital-based information presentation globally. Easy access to information and communication through social networks makes children no longer care about the surrounding environment and tends to be "uncivilized". The condition makes parents try to instill a filter through the selection of schools with a religious character curriculum. That fact encourages the emergence of schools labeled with religion with "extra" religious curriculum offers. So, the considerations in choosing a school from a Muslim family, in particular, can indirectly be seen from the curriculum character offered by the school and the character of its graduates. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence parents in choosing an Islamic school. The method used is quantitative with 100 parents who have school-age children from grade 1 to grade 3 who have a middle to the upper economic background in the Bandung. The results of the study found that the factors of parents choosing an Islamic primary school that has primary school graduates accustomed to speaking good words such as please, sorry, thank you and Toyyibah sentences, accustomed to pray 5 times a day, reading the Quran, memorizing the Quran and language skills (Indonesian and English)

Abstract

Higher education quality management is a strategic concept that is able to bring a university to the world level. In the basic concepts of quality management, quality is always planned, controlled, guaranteed and continuously improved. Practical and strategic models such as TQM, EFQM, SQM and others, provide philosophical offers to managers who wish to improve the quality of their institutions. Providers of quality management models in higher education services must consider customer satisfaction as one of the main quality measures. The implementation of higher education will ultimately have an impact on the competitiveness of the nation's human resources.

Abstract

: This study reviews the third mandate in the Joint Decree of 3 Ministers (SKB 3 Menteri) concerning the Use of Uniforms and Attributes for Students, Educators, and Education Personnel in Schools Organized by Local Governments at the Elementary and Secondary Education Levels based on Law (UU) Number 20 of 2003 about the National Education System and Regulation of the Minister of Religion (PMA) Number 16 of 2010 concerning the Management of Religious Education in Schools. This research focuses on whether or not Islamic Religious Education teachers can encourage their female students to wear the hijab. This type of research is library research (library study) with documentation data collection techniques, by collecting various literature sources, such as copies of statutory documents, books, research journals, and articles from the internet related to this research topic. After the data is collected, it is analyzed using content analysis techniques. Based on a review of Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System and Regulation of the Minister of Religion Number 16 of 2010, Islamic Religious Education teachers might encourage their Muslim female students to wear the hijab because it is a form of education.

Abstract

This research stems from the anxiety that Islamic boarding schools seen as Islamic educational institutions have different understandings in interpreting religious teachings, so their actualization in society is also different. Al-Muayyad Islamic Boarding School is more moderate, thus it is highlighted as an Islamic educational institution used as a breeding ground for terrorism. This research aims to determine the concept and the implications of education and religious understanding at Islamic Boarding School of Al-Muayyad Surakarta in the community. The type of this research applied descriptive qualitative method of field studies. The data collection used observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the analysis employed the interpretation of cohesion with the verstehen method. This method means an interpretation attempted to explain the observed sociological phenomena in accordance with the meaning given by the object being observed. The results indicate that the Al-Muayyad Islamic Boarding School as a traditional Islamic educational institution aims to understand and practice Islamic teachings by emphasizing moral values. The concept of Islamic education implemented by Al-Muayyad Islamic Boarding School is in the process of creating integrated values and students’ personalities. First, the commitment of Islamic education to tafaqquh fi al-din. Second, long term education. Third, the concept of integrative education. Fourth, to display the concept of Islamic education as a whole. Al-Muayyad as a salafiyah Islamic Education places Islam as a manhaj al-fikr, building an Islamic character that is tawasuth and inclusive. Aswaja as manhaj al-fikr provides a frame in the creation of Islam respecting tradition, pluralism, tolerance, democracy and other humanistic values in accordance with the concept of maqashid al-syariah which includes five basic human rights. The concept of jihad is comprehended as a form of attitude and response to existing human values, in addition to Al-Muayyad as a sub-culture of society.

Abstract

Persoalan Lembaga Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia tidak dapat lagi dipungkiri telah mengalami stagnansi yang cukup lama. Persoalan-persoalan manajerial yang tidak sistematis dan strategis dalam membawa lembaga Pendidikan Islam merupakan persoalan utama. Upaya menjawab persoalan tersebut tidak serta merta dapat dilakukan dengan seketika, butuh perencanaan yang terukur dan strategis. Kunci utama keberhasilan pengembangan lembaga pendidikan Islam tidak dapat lepas dari pemimpin atau otak pelaku kebijakan yang ada di lembaga tersebut. Seorang pemimpin perlu dan wajib berfikir strategis dalam melakukan pengembangan kelembagaan pendidikan Islam. strategis merupakan gambaran dari upaya menciptakan capaian-capaian masa depan yang lebih baik. Dengan melakukan analisis mendalam terkait kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan tantangan, maka setrategi untuk melangkah dalam kurun waktu tiga-sepuluh tahun kedepan menjadi lebih pasti. Formulasi strategi dibangun dari analisis yang mendalam, logis, sistematis, dan ilmiah. Sehingga, Konsep berfikir strategis dengan wujud perencanaan strategis dalam pengembangan kelembagaan Islam menjadi solusi terbaik mengahadapi problematika pengembangan lembaga pendidikan Islam saat ini. It cannot be denied that some problems exist within the Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia and it has undergone quite a long stagnation. One of the major problem is the managerial issues which are not systematic and strategic in bringing Islamic institution. An attempt to answer these questions may not necessarily be done immediately, it takes a measurable and strategic planning. A major key to success the development of Islamic education institutions cannot be separated from the brain's of the leader or policy ruling the institution. A leader needs to be strategic in terms of thinking to develop the Islamic education. It is an overview of the strategic efforts of creating episodic sections for a better future. By doing a thorough analysis of related to the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges, then the strategy to step within three-ten years in the future become more certain. Strategy formulation is built from a deep analysis, logical, systematic, and scientific. So, the concept of strategic thinking and strategic planning in the form of institutional development of Islam becomes the best solution to achieve the development of Islamic education institutions today.

Abstract

Sumber daya keuangan adalah salah satu pusat sekolah. Sumber pembiayaan sebagai penunjang penyelenggaraan pendidikan di sekolah karena menyangkut pembiayaan operasional dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu pendidikan sesuai harapan. Tujuan penelitian ini umumnya untuk mengetahui sumber keuangan yang ada di sekolah SDIT Hidayah Ngawen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Subjek dan informan adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, dan bendahara sekolah, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sumber dana di SDIT Hidayah Ngawen berasal dari pemerintah, yaitu melalui Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS), Sumbangan Bantuan Pendidikan (SPP), Pendaftaran Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB), dan celengan sedekah. Dana yang diperoleh dapat digunakan sesuai kebutuhan, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan sekaligus bermanfaat bagi seluruh warga sekolah dan sekitarnya.
