Abstract

The study was conducted to evaluate the results of the implementation of PPDB in Kuttab Ibn Abbas Klaten. The evaluation was carried out using qualitative data. Evaluation is carried out by comparing the appearance of the program with the criteria. This research is an evaluation method research, with a qualitative approach. The study was conducted to evaluate the results of the implementation of PPDB in Kuttab Ibn Abbas Klaten. The evaluation was carried out using qualitative data. Evaluation is carried out by comparing the appearance of the program with the criteria. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that, Kuttab Ibn Abbas Klaten has various problems where the certainty of acceptance time so that it has sufficient obstacles to make many shortcomings in implementation, but can be well controlled because of the coordination between the principal of the chief executive well, so that good programs in the provision of PPDB programs, school programs, provision of PPDB facilities and provision of PPDB facilities because they are seen From the field results show the satisfaction of parents in sending their children to school.

Abstract

Al-Qur’an adalah kitab suci umat Islam. Seorang yang beragama Islam wajib menjadikan Al Qur’an sebagai pedoman hidup. Salah satu bentuk pendalaman Al Qur’an adalah menghafalkannya melalui program tahfidz.Tujuan menghafal Al Qur’an tidak hanya memindahkan teks atau alqur’an ke dalam otak tetapi agar terjadi internalisasi isi Al Qur’an kepada penghafalnya sehingga tercipta generasi Qur’ani. Artikel ini merupakan literatur review. Metode muroja’ah tahfidzul Qur’an dengan model simaan estafet memberikan kontribusi pada peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa. Metode muroja’ah simaan estafet efektif untuk menjaga agar hafalan tidak hilang dan metode muroja’ah dapat mempercepat dan meningkatkan hafalan siswa/santri baik kualitas dan kuantitasnya. Al Qur’an berisi pondasi dan prinsip sehingga dengan Al Qur’an mampu membentuk karakter individu dan membantu individu untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan otak. Aktifitas menghafal Al Qur’an memicu otak untuk mengeluarkan gelombang otak. Frekuensi gelombang otak ini mengalami perubahan sesuai dengan ayat atau surah yang dibaca. Gelombang otak ini mempunyai fungsi untuk meningkatkan kekuatan otak. Siswa yang sering mendengarkan dan atau membaca Al Qur’an akan meningkatkan daya kreatifitas. Aktifitas menghafal Al Qur’an terbukti mempunyai pengaruh yang positif terhadap nilai akademik ujian nasional pada matapelajaran matematika, bahasa Inggris dan bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the leadership strategy of madrasah heads in utilizing ICT to improve the quality of education at Mim Kragilan Simo Boyolali. Because, the quality of education results from the learning process, in learning it requires planning and implementation as well as evaluation of various elements of education, no less important is the role of a madrasa head. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. This means procedures or ways of solving research problems by describing the object under study as actual facts that are occurring/taking place at the present time. The subject of this research was the head of the MIM Kragilan Boyolali madrasah, while the informants included the school principal, teachers and students. Data collection methods in this research are observation methods or non-participant observation, interview methods and documentation methods. The data analysis process begins by reviewing all data from interviews, observations and comments related to the use of ICT to improve the quality of education, followed by data reduction and verification to draw conclusions. The results of this research are: (1). The Madrasah Head encourages and directs teachers and students to follow the use of social media. (2) The Madrasah Head always provides a good example to his students and teachers. (3) The Madrasah Head always tries enthusiastically to improve the learning process and learning output by utilizing ICT.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of teachers in fostering the character of hard work among students at SMP Nurul Islam Ngemplak. Emphasizing the importance of character education in schools, it explores how principals and teachers collaboratively support students' work ethic through instructional and environmental strategies. A qualitative case study approach was employed to gain in-depth insights. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews with school stakeholders, and document analysis. This triangulation ensured a comprehensive understanding of the practices used to develop students’ hard-working character. Findings indicate that teachers play a pivotal role in promoting a strong work ethic. They act as role models, incorporate the value of hard work into classroom activities, and cultivate a supportive learning environment. Additionally, the use of motivation and rewards strengthens students’ commitment to learning. These practices are consistent with existing character education theories, highlighting teachers as both facilitators and motivators. The study underscores the necessity of a school-wide commitment to character development. Successful reinforcement of a hard-working ethos relies on strategic integration of values into teaching methods and school culture. To enhance students' character, especially the value of hard work, schools should adopt comprehensive policies that include teacher training, curriculum adjustments, and structured reward systems. These efforts can cultivate a consistent and effective culture of diligence across the educational environment.

Abstract

The International Standard School Pilot Policy (RSBI) in the historical record of Indonesian education is the starting point for changing local mindsets to global mindsets. This policy, in its implementation, faces various challenges, especially the readiness of teachers to carry out the mandate of learning, which must refer to international criteria, and there are still many teachers who do not have that readiness. Therefore, the principal has a heavy responsibility; in addition to managing and developing strategies toward an International Standard School (SBI), he is also responsible for continuously supervising teacher teaching based on international standards. The teaching supervision carried out by the principal is not only to improve the professionalism of teachers but also to ensure that international standards in the learning process are met or even exceeded.

Abstract

The problem of this study is that Islamic educational institutions have not been optimal in forming graduates with Islamic character due to the lack of application of Islamic values and discipline. Therefore, the role of school principals with a transformational leadership style is needed, so it is necessary to further study how the transformational leadership of school principals can support the development of Islamic education. The purpose of this study is to analyze the transformational leadership role of school principals in developing Islamic education in the era of globalization and rapid scientific progress. The transformational leadership of school principals is very important in facing the challenges of Islamic education in the era of globalization. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach that aims to describe and answer problems in detail at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'arif NU Karanganyar. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and documentation from teachers and students, then analyzed in depth using data reduction techniques to obtain conclusions. The results of the research show that the transformational leadership of school principals is very important in improving the quality of Islamic education by acting as a motivator, inspirer, and agent of change that shapes the character of students according to Islamic values. Through transformational leadership principles, principals can create a positive school culture, improve teacher performance, encourage innovation, and build harmonious collaboration. This leadership also helps to face the challenges of globalization without sacrificing Islamic values, with the support of facilities, human resources, and information disclosure, despite facing obstacles such as lack of training and resistance to change.

Abstract

ABSTRACT In the field of education, efforts to create a positive learning environment are one of the keys to successful learning processes in elementary schools. A pleasant classroom atmosphere is an important factor in supporting students’ motivation, engagement, and learning achievement. This study aims to describe strategies for fostering a positive classroom atmosphere through the implementation of a Professional Learning Community (PLC) within the framework of the Joyful School Movement (GSM) at SD Negeri 3 Kemiri, Mojosongo, Boyolali. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods including literature study, observation, and interviews. The results revealed that the implementation of PLC in this school was realized through five main activities: (1) sharing values and norms, (2) collective focus on student learning, (3) teacher collaboration, (4) sharing best practices, and (5) reflective dialogue. Through these activities, teachers were encouraged to create a joyful learning environment, conduct meaningful learning, strengthen character education, and enhance connections with parents and the community. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of GSM-based PLC plays a significant role in building a positive school culture and improving learning quality through the creation of a joyful classroom atmosphere. ABSTRAK Dalam dunia pendidikan, upaya menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang positif menjadi salah satu kunci keberhasilan proses pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Atmosfer kelas yang menyenangkan merupakan faktor penting dalam mendukung motivasi, keterlibatan, serta pencapaian hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan strategi dalam mewujudkan suasana kelas yang positif melalui penerapan Professional Learning Community (PLC) dalam wadah Gerakan Sekolah Menyenangkan (GSM) di SD Negeri 3 Kemiri, Mojosongo, Boyolali. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa studi literatur, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa penerapan PLC di sekolah ini diwujudkan melalui lima bentuk kegiatan utama: 1) berbagi nilai dan norma, 2) fokus kolektif pada pembelajaran siswa, 3) kolaborasi antarguru, 4) berbagi praktik baik, serta 5) dialog reflektif. Melalui aktivitas tersebut, guru terdorong menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menyenangkan, melaksanakan pembelajaran bermakna, memperkuat pendidikan karakter, dan memperluas keterhubungan dengan orang tua serta masyarakat. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi PLC berbasis GSM berperan signifikan dalam membangun budaya sekolah yang positif serta meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui penciptaan atmosfer kelas yang menyenangkan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) Principal leadership in developing teacher professionalism at SDIT Az-Zahra Sragen. 2) Obstacles and suggestion in developing teacher professionalism. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach which was carried out at SDIT Az-Zahra Sragen from January to June 2022. The subjects of this study were the Head of SDIT Az-Zahra Sragen, the informants were vice principal teachers and Al-Falah Foundation Sragen in the field of education. Data collection techniques with the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis using data collection methods, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that: First, the principal of SDIT Az-Zahra Sragen has carried out teacher professionalism well, as evidenced by careful planning, structured management, quality human resource development, and tight control. Second, the obstacles encountered are: lack of motivation, especially teachers who are over 35 years of age to develop their professional competence, teachers do not understand good communication techniques, teachers on leaveand many teacher activities outside of school so they take leave. Third, the solution to dealing with obstacles is by holding workshops and training, holding activities to increase social and communication skills, recruitingtemporary teachers whose job is to replace teachers who is on leave.
