Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) Principal leadership in developing teacher professionalism at SDIT Az-Zahra Sragen. 2) Obstacles and suggestion in developing teacher professionalism. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach which was carried out at SDIT Az-Zahra Sragen from January to June 2022. The subjects of this study were the Head of SDIT Az-Zahra Sragen, the informants were vice principal teachers and Al-Falah Foundation Sragen in the field of education. Data collection techniques with the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis using data collection methods, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that: First, the principal of SDIT Az-Zahra Sragen has carried out teacher professionalism well, as evidenced by careful planning, structured management, quality human resource development, and tight control. Second, the obstacles encountered are: lack of motivation, especially teachers who are over 35 years of age to develop their professional competence, teachers do not understand good communication techniques, teachers on leaveand many teacher activities outside of school so they take leave. Third, the solution to dealing with obstacles is by holding workshops and training, holding activities to increase social and communication skills, recruiting temporary teachers whose job is to replace teachers who is on leave.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap dan mengetahui implementasi tiga pilar manajemen berbasis madrasah di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri se-Surakarta, dan juga untuk mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam mengimplementasikan tiga pilar manajemen berbasis madrasah di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri se-Surakarta. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif dan bersifat deskriptif analitis. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulan melalui wawancara, dokumentasi dan FGD (Focused Group Discussion). Model analisis yang digunakan adalah model interaktif (interactive model of analysis). Implementasi tiga pilar manajemen berbasis madrasah di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 dan 2 Surakarta berkaitan dengan peningkatan mutu pendidikan madrasah belum secara optimal dilaksanakan khususnya pada pilar ketiga, yaitu partisipasi masyarakat. Pemahaman manajemen berbasis madrasah di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 dan 2 Surakarta oleh warga madrasah sudah baik, namun belum dimplementasikan pada semua aspek pengelolaan madrasah. Kepala madrasah sebagai penanggung jawab utama dalam pengembangan madrasah telah melaksanakan tugas manajemen dengan baik, mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, dan evaluasi. Namun perlu mendapatkan dukungan dari semua pihak, baik internal madrasah maupun eksternal.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran komite sekolah dalam hal pendidikan orangtua siswa di Sekolah Al Firdaus Surakarta. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan pendekatan diskriptif. Subyek penelitiannya yayasan, komite sekolah guru, pengurus Aorta dan orangtua. Tehnik pengumpulan data dengan wawancarara, observasi dan dokumen. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Metode analisis datanya menggunakan analisa data interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komite sekolah sudah melaksanakan ke empat fungsinya dengan lengkap, baik sebagai pemberi pertimbangan, agen pendukung, agen pengawas dan sebagai mediator dalam hal mengadakan pendidkan orangtua siswa. Ada beberapa kekurangan berupa komite sekolah belum menjalankan peran sebagai pemberi pertimbangan dalam usulan sarana prasarana. Dalam peran sebagai pengawas, komite sekolah memiliki kekurangan dalam hal pengawasan tenaga dosen dalam Aorta. Ini disebabkan karena para orangtua pekewuh memberikan masukan pada dosen yang berasal dari guru. Dalam hal manajemen komite sekolah, langkah-langkah manajemen sudah dilakukan dengan baik dalam hal mengadakan parenting bagi orangtua, kecuali dalam hal pengawasan masih kurang rutin dilakukan dan beberapa dosen Aorta yang berasal dari guru jarang mendapat pengawasan.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the implementation of academic supervision by the Qur’an Education Institution Coordinating Board of Qur’an Education Park At-Taqwa Karang Dawung Semarang, and (2) identify obstacles to the implementation of academic supervision the Qur’an Education Institution Coordinating Board of Qur’an Education Park At-Taqwa Karang Dawung Semarang. The research method used was qualitative case study method. Data collection techniques were conducted by interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results showed that the implementation of academic supervision by the Qur’an Education Institution Coordinating Board based on aspects of planning, implementation, and follow-up can be categorized as not optimal. Factors that hinder the implementation of academic supervision in Qur’an Education Park include supervisors having external activities, supervisors not having supervision competence, and the commitment of Qur’an Education Park administrators to make improvements is still fluctuating.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the leadership strategy of madrasah heads in utilizing ICT to improve the quality of education at Mim Kragilan Simo Boyolali. Because, the quality of education results from the learning process, in learning it requires planning and implementation as well as evaluation of various elements of education, no less important is the role of a madrasa head. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. This means procedures or ways of solving research problems by describing the object under study as actual facts that are occurring/taking place at the present time. The subject of this research was the head of the MIM Kragilan Boyolali madrasah, while the informants included the school principal, teachers and students. Data collection methods in this research are observation methods or non-participant observation, interview methods and documentation methods. The data analysis process begins by reviewing all data from interviews, observations and comments related to the use of ICT to improve the quality of education, followed by data reduction and verification to draw conclusions. The results of this research are: (1). The Madrasah Head encourages and directs teachers and students to follow the use of social media. (2) The Madrasah Head always provides a good example to his students and teachers. (3) The Madrasah Head always tries enthusiastically to improve the learning process and learning output by utilizing ICT.

Abstract

This study explores the pivotal role of pesantren in advancing women’s education in Indonesia, focusing on KH. Abdul Wahab Turcham in Surabaya. Pesantren, as traditional Islamic educational institutions, have been central to both religious and secular education in Indonesia. This qualitative research uses a descriptive approach and literature review to examine how pesantren are adapting to contemporary educational demands for women. The study emphasizes the need for policy initiatives and community support to transform Islamic boarding schools to meet evolving educational needs. Findings highlight KH. Abdul Wahab Turcham's significant contributions and the challenges female students face, underscoring the Kiai's role in fostering an empowered female generation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh negatif terhadap prokrastinasi akademik siswa Madrasah Aliyah Al-Muayyad Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Adapun populasi berjumlah 238 siswa diambil sampel 149 siswa dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin eror 5% dan teknik sampling menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling. Teknik analisis data yaitu uji prasyarat meliputi uji normalitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji heteroskedostisitas dan uji linearitas. Untuk uji hipotesis secara parsial yaitu uji hipotesis iklim sekolah terhadap prokrastinasi akademik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh negatif iklim sekolah terhadap prokrastinasi akademik dibuktikan dengan hasil pengujian koefisien regresi sebesar -0,460. Hasil perhitungan uji t diperoleh pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap prokrastinasi akademik t-hitung sebesar -14,07 dengan nilai signifikan 0,001 > 0,05 maka terdapat pengaruh negatif iklim sekolah terhadap prokrastinasi akademik. Dan perhitungan R Square sebesar 0,574 (57,4%). Hal ini berarti bahwa kontribusi pengaruh iklim sekolah Muayyad Surakarta Tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 adalah sebesar 57,4% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 42,6% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Abstract

Kurikulum merupakan salah satu kunci kedudukan dalam pendidikan. Kurikulum merupakan pedoman dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran dari semua mata pelajaran dan jenjang pendidikan. Dalam kuruikulum terdapat empat komponen yaitu tujuan, materi/isi, proses belajar mengajar, dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : penerapan kurikulum 2013 di pondok pesantren dan komponen kurikulum 2013 pada pondok pesantren muhammadiyah at-tanwir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan rancangan studi khusus. Adapun lokasi penelitian ini adalah Pondok Pesantren Muhammadiyah At-Tanwir Metro setingkat SMP. Data pada penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan melakukan wawancara, mendalam dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan prosudur : mengumpulkan data, reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan : (1) kurikulum yang digunakan merupakan kombinasi dari kurikulum 2013 dan kurikulum kepondokan, (2) perencanaan kurikulum diwujudkan dalam penentuan tujuan, isi kurikulum dan penguatan struktur dan muatan pembelajaran, (3) pengimplementasian kurikulum di pondok pesantren, (4) evaluasi pada pondok pesantren belum teratur dilaknakan karena baru berdirinya Pondok Pesantren Muhammadiyah At-Tanwir Metro

Abstract

Persoalan Lembaga Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia tidak dapat lagi dipungkiri telah mengalami stagnansi yang cukup lama. Persoalan-persoalan manajerial yang tidak sistematis dan strategis dalam membawa lembaga Pendidikan Islam merupakan persoalan utama. Upaya menjawab persoalan tersebut tidak serta merta dapat dilakukan dengan seketika, butuh perencanaan yang terukur dan strategis. Kunci utama keberhasilan pengembangan lembaga pendidikan Islam tidak dapat lepas dari pemimpin atau otak pelaku kebijakan yang ada di lembaga tersebut. Seorang pemimpin perlu dan wajib berfikir strategis dalam melakukan pengembangan kelembagaan pendidikan Islam. strategis merupakan gambaran dari upaya menciptakan capaian-capaian masa depan yang lebih baik. Dengan melakukan analisis mendalam terkait kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan tantangan, maka setrategi untuk melangkah dalam kurun waktu tiga-sepuluh tahun kedepan menjadi lebih pasti. Formulasi strategi dibangun dari analisis yang mendalam, logis, sistematis, dan ilmiah. Sehingga, Konsep berfikir strategis dengan wujud perencanaan strategis dalam pengembangan kelembagaan Islam menjadi solusi terbaik mengahadapi problematika pengembangan lembaga pendidikan Islam saat ini. It cannot be denied that some problems exist within the Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia and it has undergone quite a long stagnation. One of the major problem is the managerial issues which are not systematic and strategic in bringing Islamic institution. An attempt to answer these questions may not necessarily be done immediately, it takes a measurable and strategic planning. A major key to success the development of Islamic education institutions cannot be separated from the brain's of the leader or policy ruling the institution. A leader needs to be strategic in terms of thinking to develop the Islamic education. It is an overview of the strategic efforts of creating episodic sections for a better future. By doing a thorough analysis of related to the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges, then the strategy to step within three-ten years in the future become more certain. Strategy formulation is built from a deep analysis, logical, systematic, and scientific. So, the concept of strategic thinking and strategic planning in the form of institutional development of Islam becomes the best solution to achieve the development of Islamic education institutions today.
