Abstract

Employees are a company’s asset which also represents a competitive advantage of a company. Employee turnover intention will be effect in higher cost and loss of competitive advantage, and also the loss time for training again for new employee. This research aims to find out the influence of trust management and job insecurity to turnover intention. Questioner are distributed to 80 employees from staff to manager, that already work minimum 1 years and turnover data is collected the period 2019-2020. The result show only that trust management has proven influence turn over intention, mean while the influence of job insecurity to turn over intention is not significant.It can be said that trust management needs to be calculated in making company policies. Karyawan merupakan aset perusahaan yang juga merupakan keunggulan kompetitif suatu perusahaan. Intensi keluar kerja karyawan akan berdampak pada biaya yang lebih tinggi dan hilangnya keunggulan kompetitif, serta hilangnya waktu pelatihan bagi karyawan baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepercayaan kepada manajemen dan job insecurity terhadap intensi keluar kerja. Kuesioner dibagikan kepada 80 karyawan mulai dari staff hingga manager yang telah bekerja minimal 1 tahun dan dilakukan pengumpulan data intensi keluar kerja periode 2019-2020. Hasil penelitian hanya menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan kepada manajemen terbukti mempengaruhi intensitas keluar kerja, sedangkan pengaruh job insecurity terhadap intensi keluar kerja tidak signifikan.Dapat dikatakan bahwa manajemen kepercayaan perlu diperhitungkan dalam pengambilan kebijakan perusahaan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of engaging leadership on organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behavior and work engagement. The population of this study was 200 employees and got 157 participants in the end that valid to proceed the answer. The result is we found engaging leadership have effect on work engagement. However, we did not find the effect of engaging leadership toward organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh engaging leadership terhadap komitmen organisasi, perilaku kewargaan organisasional dan keterikatan kerja. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 200 karyawan dan sebanyak 157 target sampel didapatkan dan dapat diolah datanya karena telah lengkap menjawab pertanyaan di kuesioner. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan adanya pengaruh engaging leadership terhadap keterikatan kerja. Namun tidak ditemukan pengaruh engaging leadership terhadap komitmen organisasi dan perilaku kewargaan organisasional.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study is to measure the effect of gratitude on Organizational Citizenship Behavioral (OCB) by considering organizational support (POS) and Perceptions of Working from Home (WFH) as moderators. Subjects in the study were 122 employees of B Group using non-probability sampling with convenience sampling technique. This study used a non-experimental quantitative design with a correlational approach. The research model was tested using the SPSS, and LISRELL programs. Testing is supported by several measuring tools, including the Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale (Podsakoff & MacKenzie, 1990), Gratitude at Work Scale (Cain, 2018), The Survey of Perceived Organizational Support (Eisenberger, 1997) and the Perception questionnaire developed independently. As a result, the study found that Gratitude contributed (R2 = 24,9%) to OCB. Furthermore, POS significantly moderated the relationship between gratitude and OCB. The contribution from gratitude to OCB increased when employees felt higer support (POS). However, the role of WFH’ perception did not proven to be a moderator between gratitude and OCB. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui peran bersyukur terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasional (PKO) dengan mempertimbangkan dukungan organisasi (POS) dan persepsi bekerja dari rumah (WFH) sebagai moderator. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 122 karyawan/i B Group dengan menggunakan metode non-probability sampling dengan teknik convenience sampling. Penelitian menggunakan design kuantitatif non-eksperimental dengan pendekatan korelasional. Pengujian model penelitian dilakukan dengan bantuan program SPSS dan LISREL. Pengujian didukung oleh beberapa alat ukur antara lain Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale, Gratitude at Work Scale, The Survey of Perceived Organizational Support dan skala Persepsi terhadap WFH yang dikembangkan secara mandiri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bersyukur berkontribusi (R2= 24,9%) terhadap PKO. Selanjutnya, POS terbukti menjadi moderator antara bersyukur dengan PKO, dalam hal ini terbukti peran bersyukur terhadap PKO semakin meningkat ketika karyawan/i merasakan dukungan (POS) yang tinggi. Sementara persepsi  terhadap WFH tidak terbukti perannya sebagai moderator antara bersyukur dengan PKO.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the role of work engagement as a mediator between the quality of work life and organizational commitment. Participants in this study were 400 employees who worked at PT XYZ (One of the biggest Manufacture in Indonesia). In the implementation of the research conducted the dissemination of measuring tools of work quality, work engagement, and organizational commitment. The technique used to analyze the main data is to use regression analysis techniques using SPSS version 24.00. Based on the results of data processing it is known that the variables of work engagement and quality of work-life simultaneously affect the variables of organizational commitment with a coefficient of determination 0.541. Furthermore, it is known that work engagements variables can mediate the relationship between quality of work life variables and organizational commitments

Abstract

PT X, a logistics company, has made technological changes in the operating system that has been running for more than 20 years to maximize the company's performance. Changes that occur affect the work motivation of employees and resistance to change in employees affects the transition process. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of resistance to change to work motivation and to analyze whether organizational commitment can moderate the relationship between resistance to change and work motivation. This study observed as many as 246 employees of PT X and then analyzed them using SPSS software. From the test results, it is known that the variable Resistance to Change has a negative and significant effect on the Work Motivation of PT X, and the Organizational Commitment variable is a moderating variable that affects the relationship between resistance to change and work motivation in employees of PT X. Therefore, PT X needs to have special attention to these three variables so they can have a smooth transition process. PT X, yang bergerak di bidang logistik, melakukan perubahan teknologi dalam sistem operasi yang telah berjalan selama lebih dari 20 tahun untuk memaksimalkan kinerja perusahaan. Perubahan yang terjadi memengaruhi motivasi kerja dari karyawan dan resistensi terhadap perubahan dalam diri karyawan memengaruhi proses transisi tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh resistensi terhadap perubahan dalam hubungannya dengan motivasi kerja, serta menganalisis apakah komitmen organisasi mampu memoderasi hubungan dari resistensi terhadap perubahan dengan motivasi kerja. Penelitian ini mengamati sebanyak 246 karyawan PT X dan kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan software SPSS. Dari hasil pengujian, diketahui bahwa variabel Resistensi terhadap Perubahan berpengaruh secara negatif dan signifikan terhadap Motivasi Kerja dari PT X dan variabel Komitmen Organisasi merupakan variabel moderasi yang memengaruhi hubungan resistensi terhadap perubahan dengan motivasi kerja pada karyawan PT X. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi PT X untuk memberikan perhatian terhadap ketiga variabel tersebut agar proses perubahan dapat berjalan dengan lancar.

Abstract

Several factors can influence the realization of quality human resources, namely by paying attention to welfare, communication and work facilities. One of the facilities in Agency X to improve employee welfare is by providing Employee Care Center (ECC) services. The purpose of the establishment of the Employee Care Center (ECC) is to improve the psychological well-being, performance and productivity of employees and to maintain a balance between personal and work life. Some of the services available at the Employee Care Center (ECC) include counseling, psychological education, psychological assistance, advisory teams on matters of marriage and divorce and special treatment. To provide counseling services, there are three channels that can be carried out by employees, namely self-referral by coming directly to the Employee Care Center (ECC) room, self-referral through e-counseling, and referrals to superiors or work units. The results of implementing the Employee Care Center (ECC) program service guidance book are to be used in the Employee Care Center (ECC) socialization activities at the head office and all representative offices of Agency X in order to introduce the Employee Care Center (ECC) service to all bureaus and work units in in Agency X, and it is also hoped that with this guidance book, employees at Agency X can use the Employee Care Center (ECC) service to assist in resolving problems that occur and can improve welfare and productivity at work.

Abstract

Adanya distres psikologis yang dialami diasumsikan berperan dalam pembentukan fenomena phubbing. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran self-inadequacy terhadap phubbing serta untuk mengetahui peran distres psikologis sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara self-inadequacy dan phubbing. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 320 partisipan berusia 14-48 tahun. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah adaptasi Phubbing Scale dari Karadag (2015) dalam Bahasa Indonesia, adaptasi The Forms of Self-Criticism/Self-Reassuring Scale dari Gilbert (2004) dalam Bahasa Indonesia, dan adaptasi The Kessler Psychological Distress-10 (K-10) dari Kessler (2002) dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa ada peran yang signifikan dan positif antara self-inadequacy dan phubbing (R2 = 0.099, F = 35.061, B = 0.354, p = 0.000 < 0.05). Artinya, semakin tinggi self-inadequacy yang dimiliki oleh seseorang maka akan semakin tinggi kecenderungan untuk melakukan phubbing, begitu pula sebaliknya. Analisis selanjutnya menunjukkan bahwa distres psikologis berperan sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara self-inadequacy dan phubbing. Artinya, kontribusi self-inadequacy terhadap phubbing akan semakin besar ketika individu mengalami distres psikologis.

Abstract

The policy of working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic caused changes in the work environment and job demands that were suspected of causing cyberloafing. This study aims to determine the role of job boredom in mediating the effect of job demands on cyberloafing. Data were collected through online questionnaires to measure cyberloafing, job boredom and job demands from 116 participants who work as administrative staff. Data processing was carried out through regression techniques. The results showed that job demands had a significant effect on cyberloafing (β = 0.427, p = 0.000). After entering job boredom as a mediator, the results showed that the effect of job demands on cyberloafing decreased (β = 0.251, p = 0.004). These results indicate that job boredom can mediate (partially) the effect of job demands on cyberloafing. So, the effect of job demands on cyberloafing is even greater when those demands lead to work boredom. The  correlation between demographic data and research variables show that position, working hours and length of using internet  have a positive correlation with job demands; age, tenure, and working hours have a negative correlation with job boredom; age and tenure are negatively correlated with cyberloafing.

Abstract

Balancing work and studies is a challenging thing to do, especially for university students. It is crucial for working students to focus on their well-being, which plays a major key role in personal growth. In order to achieve and maintain one’s well-being, effective time management and good quality of sleep are essential. These aspects can be difficult for working students due to time constraints, as working students are said to have difficulties in managing their schedule and tend to have inadequate rest. The aim of this study is to explore how time management and sleep quality affect the well-being of working students. This study employed a non-experimental correlational quantitative research design. Convenience sampling was used in this study with a sample size of 251 students from universities across Indonesia. The instruments used in this study include Time Management Questionnaire (Britton & Tesser, 1991), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (Buysse, 1989), and WHO-5 Well-being Index (WHO, 1998). Non-experimental correlational approach is used in this study with a total of 251 participants. Validity and reliability assessments were conducted on the research instruments, with all three of them achieving good reliability, indicated by a Cronbach's alpha exceeding 0.06. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 25 with the multiple linear regression method. The descriptive analysis in this study indicates that participants' overall well-being is low, averaging at 1.958. This study found a significant p-value (0.000 < 0.05), signifying that well-being is influenced by time management and sleep quality. The R-squared value of 0.502 suggests that 50.2% of well-being variability is explained by these factors. The concurrent influence of time management and sleep quality predicts well-being, with higher levels in both corresponding to increased well-being.

Abstract

Kajian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui efektivitas website Sehat Santai dalam membantu penderita Diabetes Mellitus tipe-2 meningkatkan kualitas hidupnya. Kajian ini disusun berdasarkan studi literatur dan wawancara serta diskusi mendalam untuk membahas materi website dan kemudian diuji cobakan pada 21 orang penderita Diabetes Mellitus tipe-2 dengan rentang usia 20 hingga 55 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif quasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang mengukur kualitas hidup dan kepuasan terhadap situs web dan dianalisis melalui perangkat lunak IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows versi 26. Hasil uji coba mengungkapkan bahwa penggunaan situs website Sehat Santai memberikan manfaat dan dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup penderita Diabetes Mellitus tipe-2. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan nilai t sebesar -11.988 dengan tingkat signifikan kurang dari 0.05, mengindikasikan bahwa setelah menggunakan program website Sehat Santai dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup pengguna. Persepsi pengguna terhadap program juga sangat positif, dengan nilai rata-rata kepuasan sebesar 4.4 dari 5. Program Sehat Santai terbukti memberikan manfaat nyata dan signifikan bagi kesejahteraan penderita Diabetes Mellitus tipe-2.
