Abstract

Konsumsi ikan merupakan upaya efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas Air Susu Ibu (ASI). Kualitas ASI memiliki dampak signifikan pada pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bayi, melibatkan berbagai aspek kesehatan tubuh mulai dari sistem kekebalan tubuh hingga perkembangan otak karena memiliki kandungan asam lemak, omega-3, terutama DHA. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan Ibu mengenai cara meningkatkan kualitas ASI hingga praktik pemberian ASI yang benar sehingga dapat memotivasi Ibu-Ibu masyarakat Desa Tapak, Tugurejo untuk memperhatikan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pada anaknya. Metode yang dilakukan adalah menilai pengetahuan Ibu-Ibu mengenai konsumsi ikan yang meningkatkan kualitas ASI dan cara menyusui yang benar serta macam-macam metodenya. Pengetahuan Ibu diukur dengan menggunakan Pretest dan Post-test yang diikuti oleh 30 responden dengan hasil Pretest didapatkan 9 responden (30%) yang mengerti tentang cara meningkatkan kualitas ASI dengan mengonsumsi ikan dan cara menyusui yang benar sedangkan hasil Post-test terdapat 23 responden (76,67%) yang memahami cara meningkatkan kualitas ASI dengan konsumsi ikan.

Abstract

Sea cucumbers are an economically important fishery commodity in great demand by both local and international audiences. As time goes by, the need for sea cucumbers increases and people make excessive use of sea cucumber resources until they reach the status of over-exploitation. This makes it necessary to know the level of utilization of sea cucumbers in Karimunjawa. This research was carried out on August - September 2023 in Tanjung Gelam, Karimunjawa. The purpose of this research is to find out the catch per unit effort, maximum sustainable potential/maximum sustainable yield, and the level of utilization of sea cucumbers in Karimunjawa waters. This research uses a survey method with the survey carried out to collect data regarding catches and fishing trips for fishermen directly. The data analysis method uses model calculations Schaefer. From the research results, it was found that the average CPUE production value was 4 kg/trip. The potential MSY value obtained is 2.857 kg/year with an optimum effort (f opt) of 620 trips/year. The level of utilization of sea cucumbers has an average value of 93,27% which is categorized as optimum, so there is no need to make additional efforts because the catch is already optimal and if it is added it will cause an excess catch.

Abstract

Blue swimming crab (Portunus pelagicus) is a fishery commodity that has important economic value. One of the catch landings in Teluk Awur, Jepara is blue swimming crab. Intensive crab catching carried out with small sizes has an effect on decreasing crab stocks in the waters. This study aims to determine the size distribution, the relationship between carapace width and weight, growth parameters and recruitment patterns. The research was conducted in May, June, July and August 2022 in the waters of Teluk Awur, Jepara. Sampling using systematic sampling method. The data collected is carapace width (mm) and crab weight (grams). Data analysis was performed using FiSAT II software. The results of the analysis of the relationship between carapace width and weight showed that the growth of the male crab was positive allometric and the growth of the female crab was isometric, with the equation of the male crab W = 0.0000214cW3.251 and the female crab W = 0.0000232cW3.220. The growth parameters obtained by the equation of the male and female crabs were cWt = 158,55(1- e(-1,2(t+0,083))], and cWt = 158.55(1 - e(-0.67(t+0.152) ))). The peak of male crab recruitment was in October at 22,71%, while the female crab was in May at 13,52%, indicating that in that month new crab individuals were added. Based on these results, the stock of crab resources in Jepara's Awur Bay must always be considered and always support the recruitment process of crab. Beside that, the goverment can enforce management of crab fishing.Keywords: Allometric; Carapace Width; Crab; Recruitment

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa edukasi zero food waste dan food safety pada proses produksi pangan dalam UMKM. Diperkirakan sepertiga hingga separuh sampah pada Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) berasal dari sektor makanan. Tumpukan sampah tersebut mengeluarkan gas rumah kaca serta air lindi atau air hujan yang terkontaminasi sampah yang memperburuk kualitas dan keamanan tanah dan air. Hal tersebut dapat memengaruhi sistem pangan dan menganggu kesehatan. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pengelolaan limbah sisa dapur dan kebersihan keamanan pangan melalui penyuluhan berupa edukasi zero waste dan food safety diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai pengelolaan limbah sisa dapur dan kebersihan keamanan pangan pada proses produksi UMKM Desa Tapak, Tugurejo Semarang. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan di UMKM Putri Tirang, Kelurahan Tugurejo, Kecamatan Tugu, Kota Semarang.
