Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis kegiatan, proses, dan hasil program pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh pengusaha borondong di Kampung Sangkan. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), penelitian ini menekankan pemanfaatan aset lokal sebagai dasar pengembangan. Teori Robert Chambers digunakan untuk menegaskan pentingnya kemandirian, kapasitas lokal, partisipasi aktif, dan penghargaan terhadap pengetahuan komunitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pemberdayaan ini menghasilkan penciptaan lapangan kerja, peningkatan pendapatan, penguatan hubungan sosial, dan kemandirian ekonomi berbasis potensi lokal.

Abstract

This study aims to critically examine the development of an adaptive educational model at Miftahul Huda Al-Azhar Islamic Boarding School in maintaining the quality of students (santri) and mitigating the risks of radicalism during the Covid-19 pandemic. The primary focus lies in the synchronization of traditional values with digital disruption, incorporating key concepts such as ideological immunity, religious moderation (Tawasut), and educational crisis management. Adopting a qualitative descriptive method with participant observation and in-depth interviews, the scope encompasses digital curriculum transformation, productive quarantine policies, and cross-sector strategic collaboration in Banjar City. The findings indicate that integrating nationalistic values into digital platforms and reinforcing mental health through intensive counseling effectively counters radical narratives that exploit social vulnerabilities during crises. Critical challenges identified include digital infrastructure disparities and the limitation of physical interaction, which affects spiritual transmission. This study recommends adopting an inclusive blended learning model and strengthening synergy between educational institutions and security agencies as a prototype for national resilience. This research contributes to the discourse on contemporary Islamic education by formulating a pedagogical framework that bridges traditional ideological protection with modern technological flexibility in facing global disruptions.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effectiveness of the application of deliberation techniques in group guidance towards the increase of self-awareness of class XI students at MA Persis Katapang. The background of this research is based on the importance of self-awareness as one of the non-cognitive skills that plays a role in shaping personality, including aspects of emotional self-awareness, accurate self assessment, and self confidence. The low self-awareness of students implies weak emotional control, inaccurate assessment of self-potential, and low self-confidence in making decisions. The research sample consisted of 63 students who were divided into experimental groups and control groups. The research instrument is in the form of a self-awareness questionnaire processed through t-test and N-Gain analysis. The research results showed that there was a significant increase in the experimental group after being given group guidance treatment with the deliberation technique. Learners show a better ability in recognizing emotions, assessing strengths and weaknesses objectively, and growing self-confidence. The t-test showed a significance value of < 0.05 which indicates a real difference between the experimental and control groups, while the N-Gain results were in the fairly effective category. Thus, the muhasabah technique is proven to have a positive effect on increasing students' self-awareness and can be used as an alternative strategy for Islamic-based counseling guidance services that are relevant to the development needs of students.

Abstract

This study was motivated by students with mild intellectual disabilities' limited ability in recognize and understand the shapes of Hijaiyah letters at SLB YPLB-LB Hegar Asih Cipaganti Bandung. These difficulties were related to limitations in visual perception and the lack of learning methods suited to students’ characteristics and needs. The study aimed to examine the application of the Expository Learning method in improving students’ understanding of Hijaiyah letter forms in Islamic religious education. This research employed a qualitative case study approach involving a small group of students with mild intellectual disabilities. Data were collected through classroom observations, teacher interviews, and documentation of learning activities. The findings showed that the Expository Learning method positively supported students’ ability to recognize, name, and write Hijaiyah letters more accurately than before its implementation. Improvements were observed qualitatively through increased student focus, more active teacher-student interaction, and students’ ability to distinguish letter shapes step by step during learning activities. The use of visual media, structured explanations, and repetition exercises helped students better understand and memorize Hijaiyah letters. Overall, the method created a more organized and meaningful learning process for students with mild intellectual disabilities.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low abilities of students with special needs, especially those classified as "mild mentally retarded" in recognizing and understanding the shape of the Hijaiyah letters. This difficulty is caused by limitations in visual perception and the lack of learning methods that are appropriate to their characteristics and learning needs. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of these methods in the context of Islamic religious education learning in a special school environment. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study method. The study was conducted on a small group of students "mild mentally retarded" at SLB YPLB-LB Hegar Asih Cipaganti Bandung. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews with teachers, and documentation of learning activities. The results of the study indicate that the application of the methodExpository Learning has a positive impact on the development of students' perception of the shape of the Hijaiyah letters. Students showed significant improvements in recognizing, naming, and writing the Hijaiyah letters with a higher level of accuracy compared to before the implementation of this method. In addition, interactions between teachers and students became more active and communicative, and learning became more structured and easier to understand for students with special needs. The results of the study indicate that the Hijaiyah methodExpository Learningeffective in improving students' visual perception "mild mentally retarded" to the shape of the Hijaiyah letters. Students become more focused, can differentiate letter shapes gradually, and show improvement in recognizing and remembering the Hijaiyah letters. Structured learning, the use of visual media, and systematic explanations help students better understand the material, making the learning process more optimal and meaningful.

Abstract

This study examines Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in Islamic Cultural History to strengthen Rahmatan lil Alamin character at two Indonesian madrasahs. A naturalistic qualitative multiple case study was used, with interviews, observation, document analysis, and written surveys of 101 students. Findings indicate that when PBL is systematically designed around value-laden historical problems and structured reflection, most students show observable gains in tolerance, empathy, critical thinking, and collaboration. However, character internalization depth varies and depends on the teacher’s role as values coach, institutional support, and topic suitability. Contradictory data include one failed PBL session, 22% student frustration, and persistent time constraints. The study offers two moderate-novelty contributions: the Problem-Based Rahmatan lil Alamin Learning (PBRAL) model and the TPACKV framework (adding Values to TPACK). These are presented as context-specific, not universal claims. Practical implications call for sustained, practice-based teacher professional development.      ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengkaji pembelajaran berbasis masalah (Problem-Based Learning/PBL) dalam Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam untuk memperkuat karakter Rahmatan lil Alamin di dua madrasah aliyah negeri Kota Bandung. Pendekatan kualitatif naturalistik dengan studi kasus ganda digunakan, melalui wawancara, observasi, analisis dokumen, dan survei tertulis terhadap 101 siswa. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa ketika PBL dirancang secara sistematis dengan masalah historis sarat nilai dan refleksi terstruktur, sebagian besar siswa menunjukkan peningkatan yang teramati pada toleransi, empati, berpikir kritis, dan kolaborasi. Namun, kedalaman internalisasi karakter bervariasi dan bergantung pada peran guru sebagai pelatih nilai, dukungan institusi, serta kesesuaian topik. Data kontradiktif meliputi satu sesi PBL yang gagal, 22% siswa melaporkan frustrasi, dan kendala waktu yang persisten. Penelitian ini menawarkan dua kontribusi dengan kebaruan sedang: model Problem-Based Rahmatan lil Alamin Learning (PBRAL) dan kerangka TPACKV (menambahkan dimensi Nilai ke dalam TPACK). Keduanya disajikan sebagai elaborasi spesifik konteks, bukan klaim universal. Implikasi praktisnya adalah perlunya pengembangan profesional guru berbasis praktik yang berkelanjutan.
