Abstract

Mathematics material for some elementary school teachers in Takari District, Kupang Regency, NTT is difficult material. So that learning mathematics tends to only train technical skills in counting while understanding and thinking skills are ignored. In general, there are three main problems, namely: 1) many teachers have misconceptions about elementary mathematics material, 2) many teachers have difficulty solving elementary math problems, 3) many teachers are not able to plan mathematics lessons according to the cognitive level of elementary students. So that mathematics is seen as an arithmetic procedure which causes more drill methods to be given to students, there is anxiety in learning mathematics, and learning activities are not innovative. The objectives of this PKM are 1) increasing understanding of elementary mathematics content, 2) developing teacher skills in solving problems and designing elementary mathematics learning, 3) cultivating teacher quality commitment to self-development related to their professional duties. The Strengthening Mathematics Content Activity for Elementary School Teachers was held in the SDI Bokong 1 Hall on June 21-23 2022. The participants in this activity were elementary school teachers in Takari District from 34 elementary schools totaling 50 people. The material presented is numbers and geometry as well as learning. The results obtained by the category of teachers' understanding of elementary mathematics material tended to be good, namely 38% of teachers were in the good category and 62% of the teachers were in the very good category.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang pernah melanda seluruh dunia memberikan dampak yang sangat besar dan berkepanjangan hingga saat ini dalam berbagai sektor kehidupan khususnya dunia pendidikan. Loss Iearning atau kesenjangan pembelajaran akibat pembelajaran daring (dalam jaringan) karena pandemic adalah masalah serius yang tentunya dihadapi oleh semua pihak. Menghadapi hal ini pemerintah Indonesia menerapkan Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dimana pembelajaran berdiferensiasi adalah hal yang diutamakan. Kebijakan ini tentu baik, namun disisi lain menuntut kreativitas guru yang lebih dalam mengatur pembelajaran. Tidak hanya itu kerja sama yang bersifat kolaboratif juga sangat diperlukan oleh para pendidik. Karena itulah kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan. Tim PKM dari Prodi Pendidikan Matematika, FKIP, Universitas Nusa Cendana Kupang, bekerjasama dengan MGMP kota Soe, Kabupaten TTS, NTT sehingga terdapat 20 peserta yang terlibat aktif dalam kegiatan ini. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kolaboratif adalah tema yang diusung pada kegiatan ini. Tujuannya agar dapat memfasilitasi kretivitas guru dalam mengatur pembelajaran dan berkolaborasi. Ceramah, diskusi-tanya jawab, praktik dan demonstrasi adalah metode yang digunakan selama 2 hari kegiatan. Kegiatan PkM ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan refleksi. Adapun lokasi kegiatan bertempat di SMAN 1 Soe. Hasil evaluasi dan refeleksi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan PkM ini telah berhasil mencapai tujuan yang ditetapkan yakni para guru peserta pelatihan mampu merumuskan judul PTK kolaboratif.

Abstract

Abstract One form of technology utilization in the world of education, especially in the learning process, is the development of learning media based on android applications. In the mathematics learning activities that occur at SMA Negeri 4 Kupang, especially in grade XI, educators use PPT and teaching materials as tools in learning, but the media is less interactive because it is still limited to ordinary PPT, so that the lack of enthusiasm of students in the learning process has an impact on the low interest and learning outcomes of the students themselves. This is also one of the factors that learning in the classroom is not carried out properly due to the inappropriate use of learning media. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to be able to create an android-based mathematics learning media with the help of the I-Spring suite on the derivative material of the algebra function of class XI at SMA Negeri 4 Kupang which is valid, practical, and effective which is then named the Nubar Application (turuNUnan aljaBAR). Research and development (R&D) is a method used in this study by applying the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. In this study, data was obtained through interviews, questionnaires and learning outcome tests. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. From the research that has been carried out, it shows that the Nubar Application that has been developed has entered the eligibility criteria for learning media, namely valid, practical and effective. Abstrak Salah satu bentuk pemanfaatan teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan terkhususnya dalam proses pembelajaran yaitu, pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi android. Dalam kegiatan pembelajaran matematika yang terjadi di SMA Negeri 4 Kupang khususnya di kelas XI pendidik menggunakan PPT dan bahan ajar sebagai alat bantu dalam pembelajaran, namun media tersebut kurang interaktif dikarenakan masih terbatas pada PPT biasa, sehingga kurangnya antusias peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran yang berdampak pada rendahnya minat serta hasil belajar peserta didik itu sendiri. Hal ini juga menjadi salah satu faktor pembelajaran di kelas tidak terlaksana dengan baik dikarenakan Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang tepat. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan dari riset ini ialah dapat menciptakan sebuah media pembelajaran matematika yang berbasis android dengan bantuan I-Spring suite pada materi turunan fungsi aljabar kelas XI di SMA Negeri 4 Kupang yang valid, praktis, dan efektif yang kemudian diberi nama Aplikasi Nubar (turuNUnan aljaBAR). Research and development (R&D) merupakan metode yang diapakai dalam penelitian ini dengan menerapkan model pengembangan ADDIE, yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Dalam penelitian ini, data diperoleh melalui wawancara, angket dan tes hasil belajar. Adapun teknik analisis data yang dipakai yaitu analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Dari penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, menunjukan bahwa Aplikasi Nubar yang telah dikembangkan telah masuk kriteria kelayakan media pembelajaran yaitu valid, praktis dan efektif. Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk membantu para guru sekolah dasar di  SDN Oebobo 1 dan SDN Oebobo 2 Kota Kupang membuat media pembelajaran matematika berbasis komputer dengan software yang sering dijumpai, yaitu Microsoft PowerPoint dan membuat soal tes dengan menggunakan Quizizz. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini adalah ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, demonstrasi, dan praktik. Pemberian materi I yaitu terkait dengan peran media teknologi dalam pembelajaran matematika SD. Pemberian materi II terkait dengan pelatihan Microsoft PowerPoint sebagai media pembelajaran matematika. Pemberian materi III terkait dengan pelatihan Quizizz sebagai media evaluasi pembelajaran. Pada akhir kegiatan PKM, diberikan Google Form untuk mengevaluasi kegiatan PKM yang diberikan. Hasil evaluasi yang diperoleh adalah 93,75% peserta merasa sangat puas, 6,25% peserta merasa puas dan tidak ada peserta yang merasa kurang puas atau tidak puas. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan PKM sudah berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

Tujuan dari proyek ini adalah untuk membuat e-modul untuk siswa kelas VII di UPTD SMPN 5 Kota Kupang yang menyajikan data menggunakan metode matematika yang realistis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Platform Canva digunakan untuk membuat e-modul, yang kemudian dievaluasi kelayakannya berdasarkan faktor-faktor termasuk kemanjuran, kepraktisan, dan validitas. E-modul menerima skor rata-rata 4,71 (skala 5) dari spesialis materi dan media, yang menunjukkan bahwa modul tersebut memenuhi persyaratan "Valid". Skor rata-rata guru dan siswa pada ujian kepraktisan masing-masing adalah 4,61 dan 4,70, dan dikategorikan sebagai "Praktis." Uji keefektifan menunjukkan bahwa 77% siswa mencapai ketuntasan belajar (KKM ≥70), sehingga e-modul dinyatakan "Efektif". Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, e-modul berbasis matematika aktual layak digunakan sebagai alat bantu pengajaran yang sah, bermanfaat, dan efisien. E-modul ini tidak hanya mendukung pembelajaran mandiri siswa tetapi juga menjawab tantangan pembelajaran digital di era pendidikan 4.0. Hasil-hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual siswa, teknologi harus dimasukkan ke dalam pengajaran matematika menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual.

Abstract

The objective of this Community Partnership Program (PKM) is to assist elementary school teachers in creating innovative technology-based learning media using Assemblr Edu and Quizizz. The PKM was conducted at SDK Don Bosko 4 in Kupang City with 30 participants, who were teachers from SDK Don Bosko 3 and SDK Don Bosko 4 in Kupang City. The methods used in this activity include lectures, discussions, question-and-answer sessions, demonstrations, and practical exercises. The first module provided was training on 3D and Augmented Reality-based educational media using Assembler Edu. The second material covered was training on evaluation media using Quizizz paper mode. At the end of the PKM activity, 73.33% of participants were able to create 3D/AR-based learning media or Quizizz paper mode, 26.67% of participants could only create 3D/AR-based learning media, and no participants were unable to complete either or both types of learning media. These results indicate that the PKM activity was conducted successfully.

Abstract

Education in the current era, especially in the field of Education in terms of teaching applied at school. The improvement of 21st century learning to improve learning outcomes, the ability to analyze, think critically, creatively and problem solving skills. This is seen with many teaching problems in the classroom, with the presence of e-module digitized learning can be an effective learning innovation. The purpose of this research is to support the progress of the learning process in advancing learning activities and student learning outcomes in mathematics learning. The target to be obtained is to produce a Canva-based digital e-module product. Thise-module discusses data presentation material. The use of this Canva application helps to design learning as a support for students' independent learning resources that are easily accessible. The research method used is research and development (RD). The focus in developing digital history teaching materials uses the ADDIE development model, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation using non-test methods in the form of questionnaires. The feasibility test was conducted by media experts, material experts, and students. The results showed sig. 0.02, which means that there is an effect of e-modules to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics learning.

Abstract

PKM activities for the community aim to help elementary school teachers develop culture and technology-based learning media as part of learning innovation. This PKM activity is a continuation of the PKM activities in 2024. The background for holding this PKM is that teachers can create culture-based mathematics learning media. However, the appearance of the learning media is still not attractive, so they need to be trained to develop culture-based learning media integrated with technology. The methods used in this activity are lecture, discussion, question and answer, demonstration, and practice. Participants in the activity were teachers at SD Inpres Adobala and SD Inpres Pepakkelu. Face-to-face PKM activities were conducted for 2 days at SD Inpres Adobala and 2 days online using the WhatsApp Group. PKM went well, and the evaluation results showed that 100% of teachers were able to develop learning media, LKPD, and evaluation media based on culture and technologyy.

Abstract

Students' basic literacy skills (reading, writing and calculating) are basic abilities that are really needed to master science. On the one hand, for 10 years the National Literacy Movement (GLN) in Indonesia (Permendikbud Number 23 of 2015) has not had a significant impact on the literacy skills of elementary school (SD) students in Indonesia. On the other hand, basic lite is the most important academic requirement in the context of mastering knowledge from elementary school age. There are many variables that influence the low level of basic literacy in elementary schools in Indonesia, including the instant approach. Reading for 15 minutes, for example, is just a useless routine and nothing is gained. Apart from minimal time, there was also no follow-up to determine their level of understanding of what was read. The results of the reflection of the Nusa Cendana University Community Service team found a literacy approach, namely by building a literacy culture in the school environment. In this case, literacy is a need for all school members. Literacy culture in schools is carried out by compiling literacy discipline documents as guidelines for literacy culture. The implementation method is teacher training and practice analyzing forms of violence in schools. These forms of violence will be converted into literary disciplines. As a result, teachers can identify forms of violence and can replace them in literary disciplinary actions

Abstract

The narrative of geotourism destinations in TTU Regency is an effort to move tourist attractions from the eyes to the mind. Thus, tourist attractions are not merely a pleasure for the eyes (visual effects), but enter the cognitive memory (knowledge) of tourists. The narrative of tourist destinations makes tourist attractions not only memorable, but also known. If tourist attractions rely on visual effects (beauty), then only leave an impression. Meanwhile, tourist attractions that are promoted and compared through literacy produce messages (knowledge) about the tourist destination. Therefore, the impressions and messages obtained by tourists are the result of a combination of beauty through the eyes and beauty through the mind. Recognizing the partner's problem, the Community Service team of Nusa Cendana University strives to promote special destinations (geotourism) in TTU Regency through training in writing short narratives and videos. This effort is an effort to spread the potential of geotourism. 1) Providing material on tourism branding. 2) Training in compiling destination narratives. 3) Training in making short videos related to the destination.
