Abstract

Penelitian skema RAPID ini salah satunya bertujuan merancang penciptaan drama radio “Ratu Adil: Episode Prahara Tegalreja”. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah mengangkat kisah perjuangan Pangeran Diponegoro yang kaya dengan unsur-unsur pendidikan karakter dalam bentuk drama radio. Penciptaan drama radio “Ratu Adil: Episode Prahara Tegalreja” menggunakan metode penciptaan seni dari Wallas G yang mencakup preparation (persiapan atau masukan), incubation (tahap pengeraman), illumination (tahap ilham/inspirasi), verivication (pembuktian/pengujian). Sementara itu, untuk penulisan drama  menggunakan teori struktur drama yang meliputi tema, penokohan, plot, dan dialog Salah satu hasil penelitian ini berupa   naskah drama radio "Ratu Adil: Episode Prahara Tegalreja"  yang mengangkat kisah Prahara Tegalreja, yakni ketika pasukan Kepatihan dan Belanda menyerang dan membakar Pendapa Tegalreja. Asal mula masalah dan pertikaian yang dalam sejarah akan diperkaya dengan tokoh rekaan dalam rangka menghidupkan cerita dan menjadi drama radio yang berbasis fiksi dramatik

Abstract

The era of digitalization is an era that is able to indicate a change in the dynamics of scientific and technological progress that must be responded positively by us to make the best use of it in various daily activities, including in "teaching and learning" educational activities. The purpose of this study was to determine how far the influence of the Edmodo mobile application to improve student learning outcomes in educational dance lectures through a blended learning approach that combines two learning strategies, namely conventional learning and virtual learning through the Edmodo mobile application system. This experimental study used a research sample of 36 students in semester 5 who contracted educational dance courses. To reveal more in-depth data and information in this study, researchers used quantitative data with data collection techniques usingobservation, interviews, and literature studies. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively with the SPSS 17.0 program. The results of the study show that (Mobile-Application) Edomodo is an application that can be accessed via smartphones or other technological devices such as laptops and computers, which can be used as forums or teaching and learning facilities in educational dance lectures by lecturers and students. The edomodo mobile application is able to create a learning space that can not only bedone in conventional learning, but can be done virtually unlimited learning with classroom lectures which are usually carried out in the classroom simultaneously and face to face.

Abstract

Penelitian terhadap resepsi audiens terhadap drama radio “Parahara Tegalreja” ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui resepsi atau tanggapan audien masyarakat Yogyakarta. Dari resepsi itu akan dapat diketahui apakah responden menganggap “Parahara Tegalreja” sebagai karya yang (1) sangat buruk, (2) buruk, (3) cukup, (4) baik, (5) sangat baik. Makna drama radio ini ditentukan oleh dominasi penilaian mereka pada lima aspek tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitaf. Teori yang dipergunakan mendekati objek penelitian adalah teori resepsi teater. Teori resepsi merupakan teori yang mengkaji penerimaan audiens tentang apresiasinya terhadap karya seni. Teori resepsi berbicara mengenai bagaimana orang-orang selain pengarang atau pencipta menyumbang makna sebuah karya seni. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 151 orang responden, maka 50% lebih diantaranya menganggap drama radio “Prahara Tegalreja” menunnjukkan kualitas yang baik. Sekitar 40% responden menilai “Prahara Tegalreja” baik. Responden yang menilai drama ini buruk dan sangat buruk kurang 5%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa prosentase jumlah responden yang meresepsi drama radio ini sebagai karya yang berkualitas berjumlah 50%+40%: 90%. Artinya sebagian besar responden merespon atau menerima dengan baik drama radio tersebut. Dengan demikian drama ini baik untuk dinikmati masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the theatrical elements found in mandiekanak. Mandiekanak is a ritual that is part of BaralekGadang and only found in the Salareh Aia region. This research uses Schechner's performance studies approach to analyze research subjects. According to Carlson, the concept of cultural performance is used to look deeper at the events of mandiekanak. It also uses Dramaturgy theory to see the theatrical element while qualitative research methods collect data in purposive sampling. The collected data is then analyzed descriptively using ethnographic methods. The analysis results showed that the mandiekanak has the purpose of maintaining the family of the bride's father or bako, as for the theatrical elements in the form of scripts, performers, audiences, and venues. Manuscripts are rules that ensure the survival of a mandiekanak. The player refers to all people who are involved in it. The mandiekanak audience is participatory, while the place refers to the area where the mandiekanak exists

Abstract

Pertunjukan Tubuh Ketiga oleh Teater Garasi Yogyakarta dipentaskan di Yogyakarta dan Jakarta, Indonesia. Pertunjukan Tubuh Ketiga diproses melalui riset di Indramayu, Jawa Barat.  Pada Tubuh Ketiga memuat proses interkultural antara modern-tradisi, lokal-global, hingga sakral profan. Kajian interkultural berkaitan fenomena sosial-budaya juga ekonomi yang menimbulkan masalah sosial di dalam masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis unsur-unsur teater dan hubungan pertunjukan Tubuh Ketiga karya sutradara Yudi Ahmad Tajudin Teater Garasi Yogyakarta dengan kondisi sosial masyarakatnya. Pertunjukan Tubuh Ketiga merupakan bentuk interkultur yang ada dalam masyarakat berwujud karya seni yang bersifat elaborasi tanpa menggerus sosial yang ada dalam masyarakatnya. Pertunjukan Tubuh Ketiga sebagai metafora yang menangkap fenomena sosial masyarakat Indramayu yang saling menguatkan dan menjaga keberadaannya. Hanya, kajian interkultural belum dapat menganalisis kontribusi ekonomi dari buruh migran, petani, buruh industry, hingga pekerja kreatif atau pekerja bebas terhadap penguatan Tarling-Dangdut sebagai produk interkultural.Interculturalism in Theater Performance of Tubuh Ketiga Directed by Yudi Ahmad Tajudin & Teater Garasi, YogyakartaThe Third Body performance by Teater Garasi Yogyakarta was staged in Yogyakarta and Jakarta, Indonesia. The Third Body performance was processed through research in Indramayu, West Java.  The Third Body contains intercultural processes between modern and tradition, local and global, to the profane sacred. Intercultural studies are related to socio-cultural and economic phenomena that cause social problems in society. This study aims to analyze the elements of theater and the relationship between the performance of the Third Body by director Yudi Ahmad Tajudin Teater Garasi Yogyakarta and its community's social conditions. Third Body performance is a form of intercultural that exists in society in the form of works of art that are elaborations without eroding the social that exists in the community. The Third Body performance as a metaphor that captures the social phenomenon of the Indramayu community that strengthens each other and maintains their existence. However, intercultural studies have not been able to analyze the economic contribution of migrant workers, farmers, industrial workers, creative workers, or free workers to the strengthening of Tarling-Dangdut as an intercultural product.

Abstract

AbstrakSerial musikal pertunjukan Nurbaya merupakan salah satu karya drama yang disuguhkan secara Virtual. Serial musikal Nurbaya digarap Garin Nugroho bekerjasama dengan tim Indonesia Kaya dan para penulis-penulis baru. Pertunjukan Nurbaya ini terdapat beberapa modifikasi unik yang menampilkan tanda untuk menunjukan makna tertentu. Oleh karena itu peneliti bertujuan untuk menganalisis pertunjukan dengan tanda yang terdapat dalam pertunjukan teatrikal tersebut menggunakan metode penelitian semiotika untuk mengkaji pertunjukan Nurbaya. Hasil analisis semiotika menunjukan bahwa Tim Indonesia Kaya menghasilkan sebuah karya anak bangsa Indonesia yang kreatif. Sekaligus memamerkan tradisi, adat dan budaya Minang lewat Channel YouTube Indonesia Kaya. Jalan cerita yang modern membuat pertunjukan ini semakin spektakuler dan menarik sehingga dapat memperkenalkan budaya secara meluas yang bisa dilihat oleh siapapun dan dapat ditonton dimanapun.

Abstract

Abstract In fact, what happened at MA YATPI Godong was based on observations, many students still had difficulties in learning Arabic, especially in nahwu material, this is indicated by the number of students who took part in the Daily Assessment (PH) which was carried out at the end of one Basic Competence (KD) or some KD from each semester are still around 21-30% of students whose scores reach or above Minimum Completeness (KKM) while the rest still have difficulty answering the questions that have been provided, especially questions related to qoidah nahwu. This phenomenon is basically influenced by many factors, namely: 1) the learning process is not going well and not smoothly due to the lack of appropriate and adequate learning resources; 2) the teaching materials used are not relevant to the abilities and conditions of the students 3) the teaching materials do not meet content standards and curriculum standards; in the end the teacher is "confused" choosing the right book or teaching material according to the potential and learning needs of students; 4) Students get bored quickly due to less innovative teaching material designs where the use of language is difficult to understand and understand when students want to learn it. It is assumed that the development of nahwu teaching materials in Student Worksheets (LKS) through Research and Development (R&D) activities can improve learning effectiveness, motivate student interest in learning, as well as increase student competence. The development of this teaching material is limited to class X Arabic lessons in the first semester of Madrasah Aliyah which are then designed with attention to; a) material that is in accordance with Core Competency (KI) and Basic Competency (KD), b) material is reinforced with vocabulary notation (mufrodat), the application formula is based on qoidah nahwu especially when translating Indonesian text into Arabic, including the words interesting Arabic pearls related to lessons, c) various exercises (tadribat/drill).. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the meaning of signs related to political conflict between characters in sineprak “Satru Ing Ngepal” (SIN). The political conflicts between these figures will be analyzed for their meaning by relating them to the social-historical context of Indonesia in the New Order and Reformation Eras. The research uses a theatrical semiotic theory approach, dividing theatrical performances into 13 sign systems. Signs related to political conflict between figures will be analyzed denotatively and connotatively. The content analysis method from Kriipendorf was used to analyze the data. The results of this study indicate that Senopati’s political conflict with Mangir semiotically refers to the meaning of the political conflict between the New Order and Reform rulers and the opposition. The enmity between Senopati, Juru Mertani, and Mangir refers to the meaning of the conflict between Wiranto and Prabowo Subianto. Pembayun’s marriage to Mangir means Prabowo Subianto joining President Jokowi’s government for 2019-2024. Pembayun’s courage to fight for Mataram peace with Mangir’s fief land refers to RA Kartini’s emancipation.

Abstract

This research departs from the background that Sandur has a form of sublimation of transcendent normativity values conveyed through folk theater products. The main focus of the problem’s formulation in this study is to analyze the symbol system in Sandur, which is to connect to the meaning of transcendence normativity to be associated with the area of civilized society in the era of globalization. The aim is to prove the existence of the normative meaning of transcendence from the symbol system of Sandur’s spectacle and to implement the meaning of the normativity of the transcendence of Sandur as an effort to civilize society to face the negativity of globalization. The analysis in this study was carried out using descriptive qualitative methods through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature, then described based on the concept of Clifford Geertz’s interpretive anthropology. The results obtained in this study are (1) the symbol system in Sandur’s rituals, scenes, and songs has a transcendent normativity in the form of Mutmainah’s attitude and Beyond meaning, as a network of interactions and relationships in the vertical and horizontal dimensions, and (2) the transcendence civilization of Sandur’s spectacle in the era of globalization through Beyond meanings and attitudes Mutmainah to face the negative culture of globalization that allows the occurrence of cultural and moral decadence. The problem that becomes the focus of the transcendence civilization of Sandur’s spectacle in this study is not rejecting the achievement of globalization progress but rather an attempt to internalize the values in the sign of globalization to maintain the mentality of cultural ecstasy of the people born of transcendence normativity.

Abstract

Study on Drama entitled “Perlawanan Diponegoro” or “Diponegoro Insurrection” by Lephen Purwanto is aiming at deeply digging the semiotic meanings attached to it. This study employed Keir Elam’s theatrical semiotics as the approach, while Krippendorf’s content analysis was implemented as the method of study. Citing from Krippendorf, content analysis is a method that is particularly develop to study symbolical phenomena with a major purpose that is to dig and reveal other examined phenomena, comprising content, meaning, and essential element of a literary work.
