Abstract

Hipertensi tergolong menjadi penyakit kronis pada lansia yang tidak dapat disembuhkan dan diperkirakan akan mengalami peningkatan setiap tahunnya. Orang dengan penyakit hipertensi   sering kali tidak patuh dalam perawatan dan minum obat, dikarenakan tidak menyadari bahwa hipertensi dapat dikontrol dengan mengurangi faktor resiko. Penderita hipertensi dengan kesadaran diri yang lebih baik membuat penderita mematuhi pengobatan mereka. Sehingga perlu menerapkan kesadaran diri untuk dapat kontrol tekanan darah atau menjaga tekanan darah penderita hipertensi agar tetap dalam kondisi stabil. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis kesadaran diri penderita hipertensi dalam perawatan penyakit hipertensi. Metode penelitian dengan desain deskriptif observasional. Sampel sejumlah 58 penderita yang diambil secara purposive sampling melalui beberapa kriteria. Instrumen yang digunakan kuesioner Self-awareness Hypertension Disease Treatment yang terdiri dari 31 pertanyaan dengan 4 domain. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai kesadaran diri penderita hipertensi dalam perawatan rerata pada skor 12,24 yang artinya penderita memiliki kesadaran diri yang rendah. Kesadaran diri yang dimiliki penderita apabila mengarah pada kesadaran diri yang rendah terhadap perawatan penyakit hipertensi, dimana hal tersebut akan berdampak pada perilaku kepatuhan terhadap pengobatan yang sedang penderita jalani dan mengakibatkan munculnya beberapa komplikasi penyakit yang salah satunya kearah stroke. Tenaga kesehatan dapat menerapkan intervensi keperawatan berupa edukasi, manajemen nutrisi/diet hipertensi, aktifitas fisik, kelola stres, pentingnya minum obat secara teratur untuk dapat meningkatkan kesadaran diri penderita.

Abstract

Salah satu potensi yang dimiliki oleh desa pamboborang kecamatan banggae kabupaten majene adalah bawang merah, hampir sebagian penduduk menanam bawang merah, sehingga bawang merah menjadi produk unggulan di desa pamboborang. Pelatihan Ekspor bagi petani bawang merah di desa pamboborang dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengembangkan wawasan dalam memahami dasar-dasar pemasaran ekspor, dokumen apa saja yang harus disiapkan, kualitas dan jenis produk apa serta bagaimana cara mencari mitra di luar negeri. Pelatihan ini melibatkan 6 kelompok tani dan 3 Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT). Metode Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat telah merujuk dari hasil analisis hasil observasi yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani bawang merah di Desa pamboborang, Pengabdian ini melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa universitas sulawesi barat, dengan tahapan 1) Persiapan; 2) Koordinasi dengan Pemerintah Desa dan kelompok tani, 3) Pembekalan mahasiswa; 4) Melaksanakan kegiatan pelatihan Ekspor bagi Kelompok petani bawang merah di desa pamboborang; 5) Pendampingan dan Pembimbingan. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan melibatkan praktisi ekspor / eksportir dan rumah BUMN Kabupaten Majene, Adapun hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah adanya peningkatan pemahaman dari kelompok tani dan kelompok wanita tani terkait prosedur dokumen dan jenis kualitas ekspor bawang merah

Abstract

Low public participation in monitoring election violations will affect elections with integrity and dignity. The practice of money politics will create corruption and harm society. This research discusses the political education of the Mandar Tribe community in preventing the practice of money politics in the 2024 elections. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method by collecting primary data through a structured questionnaire-based survey. The data collection technique uses nonprobability sampling, namely purposive sampling which is used to select respondents from the community, the KPU and Bawaslu of Majene Regency, election participants and the Majene Regency government. The research results show that society's vulnerability to money politics is quite high, so prevention is needed through political education by election management institutions, the government and political parties. The level of community political participation is quite good through comprehensive strategic approaches such as outreach from election organizers through My Ads and outreach to prevent money politics involving figures in the community with Mandar political, legal and cultural education. The conclusion of this research is that the practice of money politics can be prevented through collaborative movements involving various stakeholders, including election organizers, government, political parties and community groups.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide guidance and increase visits to the elderly in Posyandu by implementing the Santun Lansia program. The elderly are expected to be able to improve their activeness in visiting the elderly Posyandu. The method of implementing assistance is the Community Based Research (CBR) method. The service took place from July 1 to August 30, 2024 at the UPTD Kedungsari Health Center, Mojokerto City, involving 103 elderly people. The results of community service are that the implementation of the Santun Elderly program can increase visits to the Elderly Posyandu at the UPTD Kedungsari Health Center, Mojokerto City. Elderly care needs to involve components to support the success of care such as family and health cadres, as well as health workers in health services. Health workers must be able to choose what methods and media to use when carrying out nursing interventions

Abstract

Sebagai upaya dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan keberhasilan pemilu kepala daerah (PILKADA) serentak yang akan dilaksanakan tahun 2024, diharapkan dapat terpilih pemimpin yang bisa membawa kemajuan bagi daerah di provinsi Sulawesi Barat dan kabupaten Majene. Keberhasilan sebuah proses p emilu kepala daerah tidak terlepas dari tingkat partisipasi masyarakat yang terlibat, dan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat perlu adanya penguatan kesadaran politik kepada masyarakat, tidak terkecuali generasi muda, dimana hampir 60% jumlah pemilih merupakan generasi muda, sehingga sangat penting untuk diberikan penguatan kesadaran politik kepada generasi muda khususnya di kabupaten Majene. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan penguatan kesadaran politik pada generasi muda dalam menghadapi pilkada tahun 2024 di kabupaten Majene. Pengabdian ini bermitra dengan Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik (BAKESBANGPOL) dan KPU kabupaten Majene, dengan melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa Universitas Terbuka dan Universitas Sulawesi Barat, dengan tahapan 1) Persiapan; 2) Koordinasi dengan mitra strategis; 3) Pelaksanaan focus group discusion 4) Melaksanakan sosialisasi penguatan kesadaran politik pada generasi muda dalam menghadapi pilkada tahun 2024 di kabupaten Majene. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam kegiatan ini adalah diharapkan meningkatnya kesadaran politik pada generasi muda dalam menghadapi Pilkada tahun 2024. As an effort to improve the quality and success of the simultaneous regional head elections (PILKADA) to be held in 2024, it is hoped that leaders can be elected who can bring progress to regions in West Sulawesi Province and Majene regency. The success of a regional head election process cannot be separated from the level of community participation involved, and to increase public participation, it is necessary to strengthen political awareness to the community, including the younger generation, where almost 60% of the number of voters are the younger generation, so it is very important to be given strengthening political awareness to the younger generation, especially in Majene regency. The purpose of this community service is to strengthen political awareness for the younger generation in facing the 2024 regional elections in Majene district. This service is in partnership with the National and Political Unity Agency (BAKESBANGPOL) and the Majene regency KPU, involving lecturers and students of Open University and the University of West Sulawesi, with stages 1) Preparation; 2) Coordination with strategic partners; 3) Implementation of focus group discusion 4) Carrying out socialization to strengthen political awareness among the younger generation in facing the 2024 regional elections in Majene district. The results obtained in this activity are expected to increase political awareness in the younger generation in facing the 2024 regional elections.

Abstract

The purpose of the community service is to assist with the collaboration program between patients, families, and health workers (OPA-GATAN) to increase self-awareness of non-communicable disease (NCD) sufferers. Hypertension, diabetes mellitus, gout, heart disease, cancer, and stroke are classified as non-communicable diseases that require treatment and management. Management of non-communicable diseases requires awareness from a sufferer and support from family and health workers in managing the disease. Disease care is packaged in the OPA-GATAN program. The method used is Community-Based Research (CBR). The community service participants were 58 diabetes mellitus sufferers and their families, and 18 local health workers. The results of the community service showed an increase in self-awareness of NCD sufferers from 12.24 (low) to 28.73 in the high awareness category. The assistance of the OPA-GATAN program in increasing the self-awareness of non-communicable disease sufferers is very effective.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the implementation of the food security program in Simbang Village, Pamboang District, Majene Regency. The analysis used Soren Winter's theory by identifying several key variables that can influence the success of the implementation of a program, namely the policy formulation process, the organizational behavior of the implementing actors, the behavior of bureaucrats at the lower level (Street Level Bureaucrats) and the response of the target group. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive method, where data analysis involves collecting open data based on general questions and information analysis, as well as writing short notes during the study. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the food security program in Simbang Village, which is sourced from village funds in 2024, has been carried out well. Of the four key variables that influence the success of the food security program implementation in Simbang Village, the third variable is related to the street-level bureaucracy which is dominant in determining the success of the implementation of the food security program. The conclusion of this study, the Simbang Village government provides freedom for food security program activities in Simbang Village in achieving the welfare of the local community.

Abstract

Abstrak: Permasalahan yang ditemukan di lapangan yakni, pertama, alat yang digunakan dalam pengolahan masih kurang memadai. Kedua, kurangnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman tata kelola dan manajemen pemasaran. Ketiga, tingkat pendapatan Masyarakat di daerah setempat tergolong rendah. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan tata Kelola dan manajemen pemasaran yang lebih produktif serta perubahan pola fikir Masyarakat terkait pemasaran yang lebih luas dan dapat menambah pendapatan dari sebelumnya. Metode yang dilaksanakan yakni dengan pelatihan dan pendampingan tentang tata Kelola dan manajemen pemasaran. Sebelumnya Jepa Mandar hanya dijual di kediaman tempat tinggal mitra, sehingga perlu adanya pendampingan untuk memasarkan Jepa Mandar ke pasar dan tempat wisata yang ada disekitar wilayah Majene. Mitra kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah kelompok usaha rumahan Makanan Khas Jepa Mandar yakni Kelompok "Wartel". Jumlah anggota kelompok adalah 15 orang. Adapun hasil yang dicapai adalah adanya pemahaman dalam tata kelola dan manajemen pemasaran serta perubahan pola pikir untuk memasarkan Jepa Mandar di warung dan tempat wisata, tidak hanya di rumah atau tempat tinggal mitra. Adapun hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan sebesar 80% mengungkapkan bahwa pelatihan dan pendampingan ini bermanfaat dan memotivasi untuk Ibu Rumah Tangga untuk meningkatkan penjualan.Abstract: The problems found in the field are, first, the tools used in processing are still inadequate. Second, lack of knowledge and understanding of marketing governance and management. Third, the income level of the local community is relatively low. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve more productive marketing governance and management and change the mindset of the community regarding broader marketing and can increase income from before. The method implemented is through training and mentoring on marketing governance and management. Previously, Jepa Mandar was only sold at the partner's residence, so there needs to be mentoring to market Jepa Mandar to markets and tourist attractions around the Majene area. The partner for this community service activity is the Jepa Mandar Specialty Food home business group, namely the "Wartel" Group. The number of group members is 15 people. The results achieved are an understanding of marketing governance and management and a change in mindset to market Jepa Mandar in stalls and tourist attractions, not only at home or at the partner's residence. The results of the evaluation carried out by 80% revealed that this training and mentoring were useful and motivating for housewives to increase sales.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat dengan tema penguatan nilai-nilai anti korupsi pada generasi muda di SMA Negeri 3 Majene bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif kepada generasi muda sebagai pemegang estafet kepemimpinan bangsa tentang bahaya korupsi dan upaya pencegahannya agar berpartisipasi aktif dalam mencegah perilaku koruptif sehingga nantinya bisa menjadi bekal baik untuk diri sendiri maupun ketika masuk dalam dunia kerja. Metode dan langkah yang yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu: 1) Melakukan Persiapan dengan koordinasi dengan Pihak sekolah SMA Negeri 3 Majene. 2) Melaksanakan Sosialisasi Penguatan Antikorupsi pada generasi muda khususnya siswa siswa SMA Negeri 3 Majene, 3) melaksanakan afirmasi kepada peserta dalam upaya mengukur keberhasilan program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkatnya pemahaman siswa SMA Negeri 3 Majene terkait nilai-nilai anti korupsi yang harus di pedomani oleh para pelajar sebagai generasi penerus dan pelurus bangsa, yang nantinya dapat berperan aktif dalam mencegah korupsi di Indonesia. Kami Juga berharap kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan kesadaran bahaya budaya korupsi di lingkungan masyarakat lebih tepatnya di lingkungan keluarga.
