Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder caused by increased levels of blood sugar due to the pancreas is not enough to produce insulin. Diabetes can be suffered for life, needs an evaluation to severity, burden of illness and management of DM by looking at the quality of life in patients with Diabetes Mellitus. The purpose of this research to describe the quality of life the patients with Diabetes Mellitus on Members and Non Members of Diabetes Community. This research is a descriptive research with cross sectional research approach. The instruments used were DQOL questionnaires (Diabetes Quality of Life) to measure quality of life, SDSCA (summary of diabetes self care activities) for self-care, Social Support from rand health for social support, DMSES (Diabetes Management Self Efficacy Scale) for self efficacy and BDI (Beck Depression Inventory) for depression levels. The sample of this research are 40 responden for each member the Diabetes community and Non Member of Diabetes Community with home visit. The Results of this research show that in Members and Non members of Diabetes Community have the same characteristics is most : is long suffering DM 1-5 years, Female,not work, no school, low income <UMK, married/ have a partner, routine blood sugar control, a high level of social support. However, there are differences in outcomes between Diabetes Community Members and Non Diabetes Community Members, age, blood sugar levels, complications,self-care,depression levels, level of self efficacy and quality of life. Quality of Life in Members of the diabetes community at most with a good quality of life 70% while Non Members of the diabetes community most with poor quality of life 52,5%. It is expected that all diabetics follow the diabetes community because it can improve the quality of life and can improve the management of DM activities for the better.

Diabetes Mellitus type-2 is a condition when hyperinsulinemia happened but insulin could not bring glucose entering the tissues due to insulin resistance. Clinical symptoms experienced by patients with type-2 diabetes at night can reduce sleep quality. Puskesmas Ngesrep is a health center with the highest proportion of diabetes mellitus type 2 cases compared to other community health centers in Semarang city with percentage around 52.15%. This study aims to describe the quality of sleep in people with diabetes mellitus type 2 in the working area of Puskesmas Ngesrep. The Study design used is cross-sectional with 80 randomly selected samples which is assisted by sample frame listing. The result shows around 56,2% of people with diabetes mellitus type-2 have a bad sleep quality. People with age ≥ 60 years, work in shifts, smokers, and with BMI ≥ 30 Kg/m2, has a worse sleep quality. The people which use lights and cotton filled mattress even has worse sleep quality. Uncontrollable blood sugar level and high level of stress has stronger tendency to have bad quality of sleep. From this study, we can conclude that the sleep quality of people with type-2 diabetes in working area of Puskesmas Ngesrep is bad.

Regional General Hospital dr. Adhyatma Tugurejo Semarang is the second largest hospital with stroke cases with a prevalence in 2015 of 9%. The prevalence of recurrent stroke in 2015 was 5%, increasing from last year by 3%. The purpose of this study case is to study the risk factors that are caused recurrent stroke (study case at dr. Adhyatma Tugurejo Hospital Semarang). This research was an observational with approach case control study. The sample of research with 122 respondents who selected by recording all stroke patients in 2015 and repeated strokes in 2016, then conducted interviews using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by frequency distribution and bivariate using the chi-square statistical test. The results of the research are there was no relationship between rehabilitation and family support with recurrent stroke.. Suggestions for the need for family care or support related to patient recovery, not returning to smoking, and fully controlling the risk factors for recurrent recovery by diligently conducting a health check.

Leptospirosis is a direct zoonosis whose transmission related to environmental and behavioral factors. Boyolali is a Leptospirosis endemic area in Central Java with a high number of cases and CFR. In 2017, Leptospirosis cases in Boyolali Regency reached 40.62 per 100,000 populations (CFR = 23.52%). The study aims to analyze the water characteristics, Leptospira bacteria, and environmental factors and risk behavior in Leptospirosis cases in Boyolali Regency. This study used observational method with a case control approach. The population in this study were Leptospirosis cases in Boyolali Regency with a sample of 34 cases and 34 controls, and also 62 water samples. The results of this study showed that water samples had an optimal temperature and pH, but Leptospira bacteria were not found in all water samples. This study also showed that there was a relationship between the presence of garbage in the house (p=0.039; OR=2,133) and presence of pets (p=0.011; OR=0,150) with the incidence of Leptospirosis in Boyolali Regency. The conclusion of this study is that Leptospira bacteria were not found in all water samples, and the environmental factors that related to the incidence of Leptospirosis in Boyolali Regency are the presence of garbage in the house and the presence of pets.Leptospirosis is a direct zoonosis whose transmission related to environmental and behavioral factors. Early menarche is the first menstruation in women in early adolescence that occurs under the age of 12 years. Nutritional status / BMI (Body Mass Index) can affect the occurrence of early menarche through the rate of growth and sexual maturity, which is an indicator of the occurrence of menarche. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship of nutritional status with the incidence of early menarche in elementary school students. This type of study is analytical observational with cross-sectional study design. The sample of this study amounted to 110 elementary school students with early menarche and 110 elementary school students who experienced normal menarche. Data analysis was done by univariate and bivariate using the Spearman rank correlation test. The results of the analysis show that there is a relationship between nutritional status and early menarche incidence in elementary school students (p = 0.001, rs = -0.321). If children have more nutritional status, they will have an age of early menarche. It is hope that respondents who have excess nutritional status, control the consumption of foods containing fat.
