Abstract

The best of humans is beneficial to others. Trying to contribute to their abilities, both in the field of knowledge, energy, or material. This information is attached to an educator. As knowledgeable people, educators are required to educate and advance community life. Therefore, service activities are carried out, as evidence of the contribution of educators. Realistically, this activity is carried out using qualitative techniques. The service is carried out by direct interaction through discussion and practice. Participants in the activity were residents of the Reni Jaya housing complex, especially teenagers. Based on the results of the activity, a conclusion can be drawn, in general the participants are interested in entrepreneurship, but limited knowledge, experience, and costs become obstacles.

Abstract

Taking part in community development is not as easy as turning your palms. This is also the case with raising youth awareness to participate in this development. Therefore, efforts are needed to awaken, motivate and guide youth in order to increase their capacity to play an active role in community development. Based on these conditions, it is an obligation for a lecturer to convey his knowledge and foster the community, especially youth, to increase their capacity through organizing youth capacity building training and organizational management. This activity explicitly aims to increase knowledge, skills and community enthusiasm for the benefit of the organization, so that organizational problems can be resolved. Scientific efforts made using a qualitative approach. Namely, providing individual capacity building training through knowledge sharing methods, sharing organizational experiences, and organizational skills practice. Participants are members of Bina Youth Rw 02 Pondok Benda Pamulang. The results of this activity indicated that the participants were very enthusiastic in studying capacity building and organizational management. This is because sharing organizational experiences can trigger enthusiasm and awareness of participants in organizing.

Abstract

Today's in digital era, all sectors use technology to develop production and increase sales, including Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. But in fact, many obstacles are faced, for example, existing human resources cannot use technology and information, the high cost of technology procurement, lack of references, and so on. The purpose of this Community Service activity is to provide additional knowledge to MSME actors in the South Tangerang Buaran Exit, about the use of digital marketing and digital markets, so that they can overcome the problem of declining sales due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The method of service activities is carried out by explaining the material and sharing experiences. In practice, exposure activities are carried out by displaying material in the form of slideshows, pictures, and videos. Meanwhile, the experience sharing session was carried out by showing directly how to do digital marketing in the digital market, such as how to register and open a digital store at Shopee, Tokopedia, Bukalapak, and so on. Then it is also explained, how to get competitive products from the marketplace. This activity was held for three days, Tuesday 05 October 2021 to 07 October 2021. Argumentatively the results of this activity became a reference for the participants on how to do business in the digital era. So that the participants gain knowledge, which makes them aware of the importance of adapting. In addition, this activity spurred the spirit of doing business with a new model, namely further optimizing online sales in the digital market.

Abstract

Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran pada masyarakat akan pentingnya dalam menjaga lingkungan dengan mengetahui jenis-jenis sampah dan dapat mengelompokan sampah sesuai dengan jenisnya serta mengetahui manfaat dari sampah yang dapat didaur ulang atau dikelola menjadi barang yang bermanfaat dan bernilai jual. Metode yang disampaikan menggunakan metode diskusi dengan penyampaian secara langsung. Manfaat dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini Dengan dibawakannya tema tersebut, para peserta mendapatkan ilmu mengenai pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga yang dihasilkan setiap harinya. Selain itu, dengan dibawakannya tema ini, peserta dapat mendaur ulang sampah-sampah rumah tangga sehingga dapat menghasilkan produk yang bisa dikonsumsi kembali maupun produk-produk yang dapat dijual.

Abstract

Dinamika datang tanpa dikehendaki, sebagaimana Covid-19 ini. Sejak terjadi awal tahun 2020, pandemi secara signifikan merubah tatanan kehidupan tidak terkecuali pada Lembaga Pendidikan Tinggi. Dalam kondisi seperti ini, sikap bijak yang dapat diambil adalah beradaptasi. Artinya, lembaga memaksimalkan potensi manajemen pengetahuan guna menghadirkan model kerja yang relevan dan menjaga eksistensi kinerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap, bagaimana manajemen pengetahuan dalam implementasinya dapat menjadi salah satu solusi di dalam menjaga dan mempertahankan kinerja dosen di masa pandemi. Untuk menjawab tujuan tersebut, maka pendekatan kualitatif ditetapkan, sebagai upaya mendapatkan gambaran utuh dari fenomena yang diangkat. Penentuan unit analisis didasarkan pada kriteria yang telah ditatapkan melalui teknik purposif, kemudian dalam pembahasan hasil penelitian digunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian dapat dikemukakan gambaran secara umum atau sedikit banyak manajemen pengetahuan membantu pihak manajemen lembaga pendidikan tinggi dalam beradaptasi dengan keadaan pandemi, khususnya dalam menjaga kinerja dosen dalam melaksanakan pendidikan. Hal ini terbukti, manajemen pengetahuan mendorong lahirnya sistem penyelenggaraan pendidikan online berbasis teknologi, sehingga kinerja dosen dalam bidang pendidikan tidak menurun. Begitu pun dalam bidang penelitian dan pengabdian, manajemen pengetahuan menginisiasi lahirnya model kerja adaptif berorientasi sistem. Artinya, walau masa pendemi covid-19 melahirkan banyak batasan dalam beraktivitas, namun dengan adanya penerapan manajemen pengetahuan, kegiatan pembelajaran, penelitian dan pengabdian  yang terkait dengan tri dharma perguruan tinggi tetap berjalan sebagaimana biasanya. Tentu, keadaan ini menegaskan, bahwa manajemen pengetahuan memiliki manfaat yang besar bagi eksistensi kinerja dosen dan lembaga.

Abstract

In the organizational context, leadership assumes a pivotal role as a foundational element in executing functions and wielding authority. Occupying positions of prominence and wielding significant authority, leaders possess the capacity to effectively oversee and guide the organization. The leader's strategic positioning is indispensable, rendering them a key ally in advancing the collective interests of the organization's various echelons, ranging from the grassroots to the uppermost tiers, with a steadfast commitment to objective-oriented pursuits. This research endeavors to scrutinize the responses, perceptions, and evaluations of lecturers regarding the leadership exhibited by heads of study programs, thereby furnishing a comprehensive and contextual comprehension of the intricacies of leadership dynamics. The study was conducted at Pamulang University, focusing on the Undergraduate Management study program within the Faculty of Economics and Business. Primary respondents comprised level one lecturers who concurrently served as developers of the study program. Employing a simple random sampling technique facilitated by the distribution of direct questionnaires, the research data underwent analysis through qualitative descriptive methods. Findings from the research reveal that the leadership style demonstrated by the head of the Undergraduate Management study program at the Faculty of Economics and Business embodies democratic characteristics. This is evidenced by the active involvement of developer lecturers in all facets of the tri dharma activities and the decision-making processes inherent to the study program.

Abstract

This community service activity is entitled “Application of Human Resource Management in Improving Worker Competencies in the Digital Age at the KEDU EMAS Starter MSME Group in Kelapa Dua District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province”. This activity was carried out on Sunday, July 14, 2024 and was attended by 22 students and 6 Pamulang University assistant lecturers. The general objective of this community service activity is the application of human resource management knowledge to improve competencies in the current digital era in KEDU EMAS MSMEs, Kelapa Dua District. The methods applied include surveys, direct material delivery, as well as consultation and discussion regarding the application and management of human resources. This community service activity succeeded in providing an understanding to KEDU EMAS MSME players regarding the management, training and development of human resources in an effort to develop community businesses in Kelapa Dua District.

Abstract

The dynamics between workload pressures, negative work environments, and employee motivation are crucial in understanding workplace productivity and employee well-being. This study explores how these factors interplay within PT. Fouher Popular Internasional. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to a sample of 83 employees at PT. Fouher Popular Internasional. The findings reveal significant correlations between high workload pressures and decreased motivation, as well as between negative work environments and reduced employee engagement. These interactions highlight the need for effective management strategies to mitigate these issues.

Abstract

This research delves into the critical role of higher education in shaping human resources and advancing a nation. A key determinant of the quality of higher education lies in the satisfaction of lecturers, whose performance is intricately linked to various work-related factors. This study specifically investigates the influence of compensation, leadership, policies, work environment, and facilities on lecturers' satisfaction, aiming to provide insights that can enhance the welfare and effectiveness of educators within higher education institutions. Employing a qualitative approach with survey techniques, the research utilizes a questionnaire as the primary instrument distributed to randomly selected lecturers at Pamulang University, considering predetermined criteria. The sample comprises respondents from diverse fields of study, facilitating a comprehensive understanding of the issues at hand. Data analysis relies on descriptive statistics to delineate the level of lecturer satisfaction with each scrutinized work factor. The findings reveal that lecturer satisfaction with compensation and the work environment is commendable, achieving an average score of 4.40. These two factors emerge as the primary drivers fostering improved lecturer performance. Conversely, satisfaction with leadership, policies, and work facilities is deemed reasonably satisfactory, each garnering an average score of 4. These results furnish a holistic portrayal of the work factors necessitating attention to elevate lecturer performance, underlining the importance of strategic focus on these core elements.

Abstract

Declining work motivation presents a significant challenge across various sectors, including higher education. This study aims to analyze the factors affecting the decrease in work motivation among lecturers at private higher education institutions in South Tangerang. The research employs a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 190 lecturers randomly selected from private colleges in South Tangerang. Descriptive analysis reveals that the main factors influencing decreased work motivation include high workload, lack of recognition, and unclear career paths. These findings provide a deeper understanding of the elements that need to be addressed to enhance motivation.
