Abstract

Media wayang kartun yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini terbuat dari karton yang dilapisi dengan kertas berupa gambar yang sesuai dengan tokoh dalam cerita fabel, selanjutnya diberi tangkai agar dapat digerak-gerakan dan dilengkapi dengan kotak cerita yang terdapt background yang sesuai dengan latar tempat dalam cerita fabel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu R&D (Research and Development). Prosedur yang digunakan menace pada model Borg and Gall yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu 1) Penelitian dan Pengumpulan Data, 2) Perencanaan Produk, 3) Pengembangan Produk, dan 4) Validasi Produk. Hasil validasi pengembangan media pembelajaran wayang kartun pada materi cerita fabel memiliki tingkat kevalidan yang tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil tanggapan kritik dan saran serta penilaian dari para validator dan guru SD Negeri 1 Grogol Kecamatan Kapetakan Kabuptaen Cirebon mendapatkan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Penilaian dari ahli materi I yang divalidasi oleh doesen Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon memperoleh presentase kevalidan/kelayakan mencapai 95,55% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Penilaian dari ahli materi II yang divalidasi oleh guru SD Negeri 1 Grogol memperoleh presentase kevalidan/kelayakan mencapai 93,33% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Penilaian dari ahli media I yang divalidasi oleh dosen Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon memperoleh presentase kevalidan/kelayakan mencapai 78% dengan kategori “Valid”. Penilaian dari ahli media II yang divalidasi oleh guru SD Negeri 1 Grogol memperoleh presentase kevalidan/kelayakan mencapai 96% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aplikasi pilihan pendukung pembelajaran daring pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survey. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penggunaan WhatsApp Group dinilai lebih efektif untuk mendukung pembelajaran daring. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah WhatsApp lebih diminati oleh mahasiswa PGSD karena dianggap paling murah dan mudah dibandingkan dengan aplikasi pendukung lainnya karena tidak membutuhkan kuota internet dalam jumlah besar. WhatsApp Group dapat dioperasikan secara sederhana, personal, dan aman. Berdasarkan aspek general usability aplikasi ini mampu dengan mudah untuk mengirim pesan teks maupun suara secara instan, sederhana dan pribadi. Selain itu dapat mengirim foto dan video secara instan, membuat panggilan secara gratis, serta mengirim lokasi pada pengguna lain dengan mudah.

Abstract

This research is based on a preliminary study obtained in the initial data on improving math learning outcomes which only reached 45%, so it is necessary to apply a project-based learning model based on lapbook media. This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes through a lapbook-based project-based learning model in third grade math lessons at SDN 1 Semplo. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research subjects were third grade students of SD Negeri 1 Semplo with a total of 29 students. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The project-based learning model which is a learning model that uses an activity, project as a medium that results in an increase in student learning outcomes, while the lapbook is a medium produced using project-based learning which can be a portfolio of student work and assignments. The increase in pre-cycle learning outcomes was 45% (13 students), increased in cycle I to 62% (18 students) and in cycle II increased to 86% (25 students). So, by applying the Lapbook-based Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can improve the learning outcomes of third grade Mathematics students of SDN 1 Semplo.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the observations that have been made. There are still many passive students during classroom learning who are not confident in making decisions and issuing opinions during learning. Students do not understand the norms and rules in PKN lessons in the school environment, and students are still not polite in their daily lives, so the researcher intends to conduct research in Class V of SD Muhammadiyah 2 Cirebon City so that PKN learning outcomes can be improved. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology. The researcher chose the Kemmis and McTaggart model of classroom action research because the research model is simple, easy to implement, and considered according to the researcher's ability. Improvement of learning outcomes in norms and rules material, namely from the aspect and aspect of student comfort in groups, as well as friends to discuss. According to the results of the research on pre-cycle learning activities, the percentage of student learning outcomes is only 40%, or 10 students with a minimum criterion that is not good. After improvements were made in the first cycle, it increased to 56%, or 14 students with good criteria. Even in the improvement of learning that had been carried out in the second cycle, it increased to reach 80%, or 20 students with good criteria.

Abstract

This study is motivated by students' speaking skills in the context of classroom learning and analysis of the application of parenting patterns which aims to determine the effect of parenting patterns on the speaking skills of fourth grade students of SDN 5 Arjawinangun. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews and oral tests. This technique uses three stages, namely data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the parenting pattern applied to parents of students in class IV SDN 5 Arjawinangun is more dominant in using permissive parenting where this parenting pattern is based on hereditary parenting from ancient parents, the obstacles faced are that there are some parents who do not take part in shaping attitudes or shaping student character, then the background of parents' lives is also different, in the home environment there is still a lack of special attention to children in developing students' speaking skills, because these parents feel that they have enough lessons at school so that there is no special monitoring from the parents when they are in the home environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pengaruh metode problem solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siwa dalam konteks pembelajaran matematika bertempat di SD Negeri 1 Karangtengah. Penggunaan metode penelitian berupa metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis and Mc taggart dengan metode analisis yang menggabungkan kuantitatif dan kualitatif guna memperoleh data yang valid. Metode ini digunakan dalam dua siklus untuk mengamati dan mengukur perubahan yang terjadi pada keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Siklus pertama meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi pembelajaran melalui penggunaan teknik pemecahan masalah; siklus kedua meningkatkan dan memverifikasi hasil siklus pertama. Untuk menilai efektivitas metode ini, informasi dikumpulkan melalui analisis pekerjaan siswa, wawancara guru, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan peningkatan yang signifikan pada siklus II dilihat dari hasil data observasi perencanaan pembelajaran dengan jumlah skor 26 (81,25%), data hasil observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan skor 27 (84,375%), dan data hasil observasi kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan skor 9 (81,818%), serta data observasi hasil belajar dengan jumlah skor 9 (81,818%). Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya teknik pemecahan masalah dalam membantu siswa mengembangkan pemikiran kritis dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah matematis mereka. Temuan penelitian ini mempunyai arti penting bagi rancangan strategi pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan secara luas untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak dalam konteks pengajaran matematika di sekolah dasar.Kata Kunci: problem-solving, matematika, penelitian tindakan kelas

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan suatu proses yang bertujuan mengarahkan kualitas individu yang lebih positif dan berguna untuk dirinya sendiri maupun orang lain. Permasalahan utama yang menjadi latar belakang dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam dan sosial kelas III di SDN 4 Megugede. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam dan sosial kelas III di SDN 4 Megugede materi Tradisi Keluarga dan Masyarakat Sekitar . Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus dan setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 2 pertemuan dengan tahapan meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa ada peningkatan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapan proses pembelajaran Project Based Learning Berbasis Infografis.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of interest in learning and the low ability of students to understand reading, especially 3rd grade students when studying Theme 6 "Energy and Its Changes" Subtheme 1 "Energy Sources". The Indonesian Language KKTP score for 3rd grade is 70, but in reality not many students can achieve that score. This indicates that learning outcomes have not been in accordance with the expectations and developments that should be achieved by 3rd grade students at SD Negeri 2 Karangasem. From the results of observations and interviews, several problems were found in learning activities, such as less interesting, monotonous learning, and students who lack enthusiasm when participating in lessons. In addition, the teaching methods used have not been able to arouse students' enthusiasm and creativity. To overcome this problem, one way that can be done is to use fun learning techniques, such as game-based scramble techniques. This study aims (1) to determine the planning of scramble techniques in improving the reading comprehension skills of grade 3 students of SD Negeri 2 Karangasem, Plumbon District, Cirebon Regency, (2) to determine the implementation of scramble techniques in improving the reading comprehension skills of grade 3 students of SD Negeri 2 Karangasem, Plumbon District, Cirebon Regency, and (3) to determine the increase in the reading comprehension skills of grade 3 students of SD Negeri 2 Karangasem, Plumbon District, Cirebon Regency after using scramble techniques? The type of research used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) Kemmis and Mc Taggart Technique which introduces four stages in implementing the action method. The four components include planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation of student activities, observation of teacher activities, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use quantitative data and qualitative data. The findings in this study indicate an increase in students' reading comprehension skills from each cycle carried out. In the pre-cycle stage, only 14 out of 36 students (around 32%) achieved a score above the KKTP limit set, which is 70. However, after the actions were carried out in cycle I, the number of students who achieved completion increased to 30 students, or around 78%. Furthermore, in cycle II, there was another increase to 32 students who completed the test, or around 90% of the total students. This increase proves that the application of the scramble technique is proven to be effective in helping improve students' reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 1 di SDN 1 Lemahabang, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan melalui media gambar terhadap siswa kelas 1 di SDN 1 Lemahabang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuasi eksperimen (quasi-experimental design) dengan rancangan non-aquivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas 1 di SDN 1 Lemahabang yang berjumlah 30 siswa.Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil pretest sebesar 55%, pada posttest terdapat peningkatan sebesar 72% . Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media gambar terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 1 di SDN 1 Lemahabang.

Abstract

Education is an important means to develop students' potential, one of which is through reading literacy. However, students' reading interest in Indonesia is still relatively low, as shown by the PISA survey results, which show that Indonesian students' reading ability is below the average for OECD countries. At SD Negeri 1 Watubelah, a literacy program has been implemented, but the reading interest of grade IIIA students is still low. The contributing factors include lack of motivation, the influence of technology, and minimal reading support in the family environment. This study aims to describe the role of parents and their parenting styles on the reading literacy awareness of grade III students at SD Negeri 1 Watubelah. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included grade IIIA students and parents. The results show that the active role of parents in accompanying, providing motivation, and providing reading facilities at home can increase children's interest and awareness in reading. Democratic parenting styles have been proven to be more effective in forming reading habits in children compared to authoritarian and permissive parenting styles. These findings emphasize the importance of collaboration between parents and schools in building a culture of literacy from an early age.
