Abstract

There are 19 power generation industries in East Java with a total capacity of 8000MW with various types of generation processes that work every day. To support this process they need good quality materials or equipment. Many of these equipment are produced overseas. However, the issue that is currently developing regarding the selection of materials is the Country of Origin (COO). COO is defined as the country where the last product is subject to an economic, commercial or technically significant manufacturing or assembly process. Until now, the Country of Origin has had a profound effect on material selection in tenders at the generation companies in East Java. In this study will analyze the factors that influence the selection of materials based on the Country of Origin (COO) by conducting a survey of those who have authority over the purchase of goods in the Power Generation Industry in East Java. The data obtained will be analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) - Partial Least Square (PLS) method, from the analysis results obtained that the factors causing rejection of material selection based on the Country of Origin in the Power Generation Industry in East Java is brand and product judgement.

Abstract

Electricity is the right of every person guaranteed in the 1945 Constitution, it must be realized in the form of providing electricity supply for the community. Electricity generators in Gresik are one of the power suppliers for industries and communities through the distribution managed by one of the electricity distributor in Indonesia. As time goes by, the plant needs to do a planned maintenance called overhaul. This research aims to improve the quality of overhaul maintenance service to one of the generators that exist in Gresik. The other goal is to know what service factors that affect the level of customer satisfaction in accordance with customer expectations based on service priority variables. Measurement of service quality of overhaul maintenance is done by combining ServQual method and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method.

Abstract

Kualitas layanan merupakan kunci sukses dalam pemasaran dan bisnis strategi. Peningkatan kualitas layanan terhadap perguruan tinggi merupakan hal yang perlu mendapatkan prioritas, karena kualitas layanan berhubungan erat dengan peningkatan keuntungan kompetitif. UMAHA merupakan universitas swasta di Sidoarjo. Sejak didirikan tahun 1998 hingga 2015 animo masyarakat terhadap UMAHA terus mengalami peningkatan hal ini ditunjukkan dengan semakin meningkatnya jumlah mahasiswa yang mendaftar. Namun disisi lain masih terjadi keluhan-keluhan terhadap pelayanan akademik. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka pengukuran kualitas layanan pendidikan yang akurat sangat penting dilakukan untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang lebih baik dan menjadi pedoman dalam melakukan suatu perbaikan. Item-item dalam penelitian ini diadaptasi dari instrumen HEdPERF dan HiEdQUAL. Pengukuran kualitas layanan dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan dengan responden dosen, staf administrasi dan mahasiswa sebagai pelanggan perguruan tinggi. Kuesioner digunakan untuk memperoleh data, berupa harapan dan persepsi. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah cluster sampling. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Kualitas layanan akan di ukur dengan menggunakan model diskonfirmasi SERVQUAL, yang mendefinisikan kualitas dalam hal perbedaan yang muncul antara harapan pelanggan dan persepsi layanan yang sebenarnya. Hasil perhitungan skor SERVQUAL untuk ketiga responden, menunjukkan masing-masing item belum dapat memenuhi harapan pelanggan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil perhitungan semua item yang bernilai negatif.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Circular Economy (CE) adalah konsep yang mendorong penggunaan sumber daya yang sirkular untuk mencapai perkembangan yang sustainable. Topik CE sedang berkembang dengan pesat dan menarik perhatian berbagai pihak baik pemerintah, pelajar maupun dunia usaha dan industri. Artikel ini akan mengkaji secara kongkrit mengenai indikator-indikator untuk mengukur efisiensi ekonomi dalam konsep Circular Economy (CE). Sebuah analisis Bibliometrik juga dibangun untuk memaparkan perkembangan pendekatan CE dengan dukungan database scopus. Konsep Circular Economy ini membahas berbagai langkah dan strategi untuk menghemat fungsi dari produk, komponen, material dan lain-lainnya. Kebutuhan literature review untuk perkembangan model CE sangat dibutuhkan oleh peneliti, industri dan pemerintah. Pengembangan model CE juga perlu membahas kebutuhan tersebut dengan mempertimbangkan  dampak pada lingkungan, kompetisi ekonomi, dan kelangkaan sumber daya. Selain itu, artikel ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman CE yang kongkrit sebagai peletakan dasar pengukuran dari implementasi CE yang telah dilakukan oleh berbagai pihakABSTRACT Circular Economy (CE) is a concept that encourages the use of circular resources to achieve sustainable development. Abstract

PT Wahana Lentera Raya merupakan salah satu industri yang bergerak pada bidang furnitur yang memiliki ruang lingkup pasar yaitu nasional dan internasional. Meningkatnya permintaan pasar akan furnitur pada masing -masing area menyebabkan pusat distribusi yang ada tidak maksimal dalam melakukan penyaluran barang. Sehingga perlu adanya pengembangan terhadap pemilihan lokasi pusat distribusi agar barang diterima oleh pelanggan secara tepat waktu. Oleh karena itu PT Wahana Lentera Raya melakukan pengambilan keputusan pusat distribusi dengan beberapa kriteria menggunakan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengambil keputusan terhadap alternatif yang akan dipilih oleh pengambil keputusan dengan efektif. Data pada awal penelitian ini dikumpulkan menggunakan penyebaran kuesioner AHP kepada 30 responden untuk mencari alternatif lokasi yang sudah ditentukan, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) untuk mendiskusikan hasil kuesioner dan akhirnya memutuskan bobot secara kolaboratif. Hasil yang diperoleh prioritas proses kualifikasi adalah kota Pekalongan dengan bobot tertinggi, kriteria Pasar dan Biaya menjadi parameter penilaian ini, disusul kota Solo dan kota Semarang. Dan Ketika dilakukan pengujian sensitifitas terhadap hasil akhir, dapat disimpulkan bahwa rangking alternatif tersebut konsisten atau tidak sensitif terhadap perubahan nilai

Abstract

Chicken slaughter process waste is divided into two types, solid waste and liquid waste. Almost all of the waste generated by the chicken slaughter process can be reused. Lately, Vocational High School in Pasuruan, East Java, has Livestock Agribusiness unit that made a waste treatment program to deal with the problem of waste from the surrounding chicken slaughter process. However, some chicken slaughter process waste cannot be reprocessed and is directly dumped into the sewer due to limited technology. The type of waste that cannot reprocess is blood and chicken feather waste. This research aims to process the waste into high-quality fish food by applying the principle of automation and integrating machines with existing chicken cutting machines. The application of this appropriate technology begins with observing the existing conditions and the process of designing, manufacturing, and testing equipment carried out at Vocational High School in Pasuruan. The research resulted in designing and manufacturing machines that support waste treatment of blood and chicken feathers from Livestock Agribusiness. The machine design consists of three main components: a blood and chicken feather grinder, a vertical mixer, and a fish feed press machine. The expectations of this machine design will support productivity and concern for waste management, which can also build environmentally friendly standards in the Livestock Agribusiness unit of Vocational School in Pasuruan.

Abstract

The company has always prioritized cost reduction. In this study, the researchers aimed to decrease maintenance costs by actively eliminating expensive non-value-added processes. The study employed Process and Time Driven Activity Based Costing to integrate cost with the activities performed. By conducting maintenance value stream mapping, the researchers identified various forms of waste, such as centralized maintenance, ineffective data management, poor inventory management, inadequate maintenance, under-utilization of resources, and waiting time for maintenance resources. Several alternative improvement options were proposed, and the Pugh method was used to compare and select the most promising alternatives or combinations of alternatives. The third alternative, which involves conducting internal training and implementing standard operating procedures for maintenance technicians, supervisors, and machine operators, as well as integrating an IT system for maintenance and creating an equipment and spare parts inventory database, was chosen as the highest-ranking option. The results showed that this approach reduced processing time for administrative activities, lowered corrective maintenance costs, and improved maintenance efficiency for both preventive and corrective maintenance.

Abstract

Limbah proses pemotongan ayam secara umum terdiri dari limbah padat dan cair. Hampir semua limbah dari proses pemotongan ayam dapat dimanfaatkan kembali. SMKN 1 Grati adalah sekolah vokasi di Pasuruan, yang memiliki unit Agribisnis Peternakan. Namun, masih belum adanya penanganan khusus terhadap beberapa limbah dari proses pemotongan ayam, dimana saat ini limbah hanya dibuang begitu saja ke saluran pembuangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu menyediakan mesin pengolah darah dan bulu ayam menjadi tepung darah atau bulu, yang dapat diolah menjadi bahan pakan atau pupuk, dengan menerapkan prinsip semi otomatisasi. Dimana terdapat mesin kukus inovatif dan oven konveyor. Penerapan teknologi tepat guna ini diawali dengan mengamati kondisi eksisting, perancangan solusi, lalu pembuatan dan pengujian alat. Desain mesin terdiri dari mesin kukus inovatif yang dapat menjalankan fungsi kukus sekaligus pencacah darah atau bulu ayam, serta terdapat oven konveyor listrik untuk membantu proses pengeringan hasil pengukusan darah atau bulu ayam. Harapan dari implementasi rancangan mesin ini, dapat mendukung produktivitas dan mengurangi dampak buruk pada lingkungan, dengan meningkatkan kepedulian terhadap pengelolaan limbah melalui kegiatan recycle. Kedepannya, sistem pengelolaan limbah di Rumah Potong Ayam diharapkan terus dilakukan perbaikan hingga dapat ditetapkan standar ramah lingkungan.
