Abstract

This systematic literature review explores active learning approaches in educational settings, particularly classroom learning. This study used the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) to conduct a systematic study of classroom learning with active learning approaches. A systematic literature search was conducted to identify and retrieve empirical studies between 2022 and 2024. Key findings revealed the significant impact of active learning approaches on classroom learning. These methods, which include Active Learning Pedagogy Sequence (ALPS) learning, ARCS (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction) Model, Problem-based Projects and Cooperative Learning, Flipped Classroom Approach, Use of ChatGPT, Utilization of Mobile Technology, and more, have consistently demonstrated their effectiveness in increasing learner engagement, motivation, satisfaction, knowledge acquisition, skill development, and knowledge retention. For example, a study by Jiang (2024) showed that the integration of technology such as ChatGPT can encourage students’ self-directed exploration, resulting in higher achievement compared to traditional passive learning. Dorée and Quinn (2024) proposed ALPS to enhance student engagement and support instructors’ development of teaching skills. Ko (2024) described the use of storytelling and story-making to enhance class engagement, while (Yuni et al., 2024) emphasized the effectiveness of simulations, role-playing, and problem-based projects in enhancing student collaboration and motivation.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kualitas butir soal fisika dengan menggunakan Model Rasch yang ditinjau berdasarkan tingkat validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda dan efektivitas pengecoh soal pada Penilaian Akhir Semester Gasal kelas X IPA SMA YPK Oikoumene Manokwari tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif yakni evaluasi hasil belajar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, dengan sampel sebanyak 28 peserta didik dari kelas X IPA 1-X IPA 3. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada soal pilihan ganda yang terdiri dari 15 soal. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa 1) berdasarkan tingkat validitasnya, 8 butir soal (60%) yang valid dan 7 butir soal (40%) yang tidak valid. 2) Berdasarkan reliabilitasnya, soal tersebut reliabel karena mempunyai nilai pada butir soal sebesar 0,01 berkriteria lemah, sedangkan untuk reliabilitas antara peserta didik dengan butir soal sebesar 0,94 yang berkriteria bagus sekali. 3) Berdasarkan tingkat kesukaran soalnya, masuk dalam kriteria kurang baik dengan jumlah 6 butir soal (40%) didominasi oleh soal yang mudah. 4) Berdasarkan daya pembeda soalnya, masuk dalam kriteria cukup dengan jumlah 12 soal (80%). 5) Berdasarkan efektivitas pengecoh soalnya, masuk dalam kriteria baik karena terdapat 8 butir soal (60%) dengan option pengecohnya berfungsi dengan baik. Kesimpulannya bahwa analisis kualitas butir soal menggunakan Model Rasch pada penilaian akhir semester gasal dapat dinyatakan valid, reliabel, tingkat kesukaran soal kurang baik, daya pembeda soal cukup dan efektivitas pengecoh soalnya baik.

Abstract

Real Work Lecture (KKN) is a form of application of knowledge that has been obtained during lectures that is applied in social life. The KKN which was carried out in Sindangmekar Village, Wanaraja District, Garut Regency, West Java lasted for 1 month starting from August 1 to August 31 2022. Sindangmekar Village was the village chosen as the destination for the implementation of KKN by Group 7. The potential of the existing villages Most of them are in agriculture, where this is one of the livelihoods for the community. This is because agricultural land in Sindangmekar Village is more suitable for use in rainfed agriculture, where the agriculture relies on rainwater so that the type of plant that is widely cultivated is corn which is used as a livelihood for the surrounding community. But not only in the agricultural sector, the potential that exists in Sindangmekar Village is also in the textile sector, namely MSMEs that produce Muslim Clothing & Veils. KKN begins with the village observation process and sees the potential of the village which will be the main target in the implementation of KKN. The implementation of the KKN program is carried out in a balanced manner starting with planning, implementation, and evaluation. The results achieved from the entire KKN work program include developing community skills and helping in human resource development to increase the potential of the local village. As well as developing concepts in the processing and utilization of corncob waste for the community and students. Briefing on the importance of protecting the environment to avoid waste. And planting 1000 plant seeds as a form of greening activities.

Abstract

Practicum cannot be carried out due to limited facilities and infrastructure such as dyes for observation of mitotic cell chromosomes in onions. Alternative dyes that can be obtained from nature can be explored. The purpose of this study was to obtain preparation of the mitotic division process in various onion root cells using alternative dyes using dyes from dragon fruit peel and turi flower. In obtaining the right preparation using the squash method. Data were obtained using observation sheets that observed each variation of the material. The instrument used in this study is a valid observation sheet. The results showed that the coloring of the preparation using dragon fruit skin and turi flowers was successful and clear coloring results were obtained. Coloring in practicum activities using turi flowers is better than dragon fruit coloring. Natural dyes from dragon fruit peel and turi flower can be used as alternative dyes in the squash method to observe onion root mitosis, replacing synthetic dyes.

Abstract

Industri Rumah Tangga (IRT) “Aneka Snack Bu Marni” telah beroperasi selama 2 tahun dengan kegiatan bisnis berupa produksi beragam makanan ringan atau snack (pangsit goreng, kue unca, kerak nasi, dll.). Permintaan produk meningkat beberapa waktu terakhir, namun kapasitas produksi rata – rata terbatas pada 30 kg/bulan untuk pangsit goreng, 15 kg/bulan untuk kue unca, dan 5kg/bulan untuk kerak nasi. IRT ini menghadapi beberapa kesulitan seperti terbatasnya kapasitas pembuatan adonan hingga alat penggorengan yang tidak memadai. Brand awareness masyarakat terhadap produk IRT ini juga masih rendah karena kurangnya pengetahuan pemasaran produk oleh pemilik serta karyawan. Tim pengabdian masyarakat dari Universitas Sebelas Maret memilih IRT ini sebagai mitra untuk di bantu dalam penanggulangan beberapa isu tersebut melalui introduksi teknologi tepat guna. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas produksi, menjamin kualitas produk, dan meningkatkan pemasaran produk di IRT Aneka Snack Bu Marni melalui introduksi-pelatihan beragam alat produksi (dough sheeter, kompor, fry-pan, dan sealer), introduksi meja stainless steel sebagai tempat bekerja, pelatihan pengemasan dan pembubuhan label produk serta pelatihan digital marketing. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat tersebut berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas produksi per hari (±30%), kualitas produk (elastisitas-homogenitas adonan dan pengemasan-label produk), nilai penjualan (±30%), dan jangkauan pemasaran (±2 kecamatan)

Abstract

Industri batik banyak yang menggunakan zat warna reaktif Remazol Brilliant Blue R (RBBR) pada proses pewarnaan. RBBR merupakan zat warna yang memberikan warna cerah namun sulit terdegradasi dan bersifat karsinogenik. Proses pewarnaan ini menghasilkan limbah cair yang berbahaya sehingga perlu dilakukan pengolahan. Adsorpsi menggunakan karbon aktif sebagai adsorben menjadi salah satu cara untuk menurunkan konsentrasi RBBR dalam limbah cair industri batik. Dalam penelitian ini adsorben yang digunakan berasal dari mahkota buah nanas, dengan pertimbangan kandungan selulosanya tinggi serta mahkota buah nanas masih jarang dimanfaatkan dan hanya menjadi sumber limbah di lingkungan. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah massa adsorben 1, 2, 3, 4, dan 5 gram serta waktu kontak proses adsorpsi 10, 20, 30, hingga 110 menit. Penelitian dimulai dari pembuatan adsorben mahkota buah nanas, penentuan panjang gelombang maksimum, pembuatan kurva standar, serta pengukuran kadar RBBR sebelum dan setelah adsorpsi dengan menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Adsorben mahkota buah nanas berukuran -80 + 100 mesh, dengan kadar air 13,33 ± 0,0245%, luas permukaan 297,9 m2/g, volume pori 29,91 cm3/g dan berdiameter pori 2079,47 Å. Dengan penggunaan adsorben 4 gram dan waktu kontak 100 menit, menghasilkan kemampuan adsorpsi maksimum 74,55% dengan kadar RBBR akhir pada limbah 47,0209 ppm.

Abstract

Biskuit bayi merupakan makanan pendamping air susu ibu (MPASI) yang dikonsumsi dengan penambahan air, susu, dan atau dikonsumsi langsung oleh bayi berusia >6 bulan. MPASI mengandung karbohidrat, protein, lemak, dan nutrisi lainnya. Upaya diversifikasi biskuit bayi dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan tepung jagung manis (TJM) yang mengandung karbohidrat dan vitamin A sebagai alternatif pengganti tepung terigu. Protein berkontribusi dalam pertumbuhan bayi, sehingga kecukupannya dalam MPASI perlu dipenuhi melalui penambahan tepung kacang merah (TKM) dan tepung ikan gabus (TIG). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan formula terbaik penambahan TJM, TKM, dan TIG dalam pembuatan biskuit bayi berdasarkan parameter fisikokimia dan sensori. Biskuit bayi dihasilkan melalui penambahan tepung jagung manis, tepung kacang merah, dan tepung ikan gabus, yaitu F1 (kontrol), F2 (30:8:2), F3 (30:6:4), F4 (30:4:6), dan F5 (30:2:8). Parameter fisikokimia yang diamati meliputi analisis daya serap air, kelarutan, proksimat, kadar vitamin A, kalori, dan angka kecukupan gizi (AKG). Analisis sensori dilakukan untuk parameter warna, aroma, rasa, tekstur, dan overall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penurunan jumlah TKM dan peningkatan jumlah TIG menyebabkan peningkatan kadar air, abu, protein, dan vitamin A, serta penurunan daya serap air, kelarutan, kadar lemak, karbohidrat, dan kalori pada biskuit bayi. Biskuit bayi perlakuan F2 menunjukkan daya serap air 3,88±0,14 g/g, kelarutan 43,47±0,87%, nilai kalori 450,96 kkal, dan angka kecukupan gizi tertinggi 56,37% serta paling disukai panelis untuk semua parameter (warna, aroma, rasa, tekstur, dan overall).

Abstract

This research has the following objectives, namely first, to guarantee legal certainty over authentic deeds made by the Land Deed Deed Official (PPA)T against incorrect information on the parties; secondly, to provide legal protection for the Land Deed Making Officer (PPAT) who draws up an authentic deed in the form of a sale and purchase deed based on incorrect information from the parties; third, an example of waiver of rights if it turns out that there is incorrect information from the parties in accordance with Article 51 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code. This study uses a normative juridical research approach, and the theory used in this paper is Gustav Radbruch's Legal Certainty Theory and Philip M. Hadjon's Legal Protection. The research results conclude. 1) The deed of the official making the land deed (PPAT) will not have legal certainty if the authentic deed is not in accordance with the applicable provisions or is carried out against the law. 2) Legal protection for the Land Deed Making Officer (PPAT) who draws up a deed on the basis of incorrect information from the parties is only based on the right of refusal, if he does not have bad rights then the right of refusal does not apply. A notarial deed made based on a letter or document from the parties which is known to be fake after the deed is made remains an authentic deed as long as the notary in making the deed meets the formal requirements of a deed is said to be an authentic deed. If the notary commits negligence so that he does not meet the formal requirements of an authentic deed, then the deed made by a degraded notary only has the power of proof as an underhand deed. Notarial deeds that are degraded into private deeds are regulated in Article 41, Article 44 paragraph (5), Article 48 paragraph (3), Article 49 paragraph (4), Article 50 paragraph (5), Article 51 paragraph (4). If the negligence committed by a notary results in losses for the parties, the parties can claim fees, compensation and interest from the notaryKeywords: Certainty; Deed; Protection.

Abstract

Pollution caused by dye waste from the textile industry, specifically Rhodamine B, poses significant risks to human health. Furthermore, large-scale discharge of Rhodamine B into aquatic environments can alter water pH, thereby adversely affecting aquatic ecosystems. Environmental pollution caused by this dye can be prevented through adsorption using activated carbon. In this study aims to evaluate the efficiency of Rhodamine B dye removal from synthetic wastewater by varying the mass of activated carbon from coconut shell carbon and to determine the appropriate adsorption isotherm model based on the adsorption capacity of Rhodamine B on the adsorbent. The experiment was conducted by activating coconut shell carbon physically using a furnace at a temperature of 700℃ for 2 hours and chemically using 2.5 M KOH and soaked for 20 hours with a ratio of 1: 3 (m/v). The results of the study based on variations in adsorbent mass showed the best mass of 3 g with the smallest final concentration of 2.1717 ppm, an equilibrium time of 120 minutes, and an adsorption effectiveness of 86.13%. The appropriate adsorption isotherm model is the Langmuir isotherm.
