Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritis is one of the most common diseases affecting the elderly. This disease causes pain and decreased activity of the elderly on a daily basis. The problem that occurs in the elderly often experiences pain and loses the ability to carry out their activities. The alternative solution to the problem that can be done is by taking non-pharmacological actions. One very easy and inexpensive procedure is a warm compress. This action is very practical and can be done by everyone, including the elderly. This action is rarely done by the elderly when they are in pain. The service was carried out for the elderly as many as 42 people, namely counseling on rheumatoid arthritis, management of rheumatoid arthritis pain. The community service implementation team provides training on how to compress it to all elderly people who are in the work area of ​​the Medan Amplas Community Health Center Sevice. The team conducted a home visit to evaluate the community service program. Extension activities run smoothly. There were 10 elderly people who asked about counseling materials. It is important to do routine outreach activities to the elderly about other complaints they have to improve their health status.

Abstract

Smoking is a culture in society that has been going on for a long time and is still a health problem in Indonesia. Hospitals as health care centers should demonstrate a healthy culture and behavior in all aspects, including being free from cigarette smoke. The problem that is often encountered by the Sembiring Deli Tua General Hospital is that there are still health workers and hospital visitors who smoke in the hospital environment, even though various warning signs are prohibited from smoking in almost all strategic points of the hospital area. In order to strengthen the smoke-free hospital movement, socialization was carried out to hospital employees and hospital visitors in the form of distributing leaflets and brief information about healthy behavior without smoking which was carried out during February 2021, with the hope that this socialization would be able to realize the Sembiring Deli General Hospital. Old as a smoke-free area.

Abstract

To improve the quality of health services and assess the performance of a good and efficient Puskesmas is one of the results of filling out medical records in inpatient rooms (Depkes RI, 2005). The technical guideline for managing medical records at a Puskesmas is to regulate the process of recording medical record activities starting at the time of patient acceptance, recording while the patient is receiving medical services to handling medical record files. A medical record file is a form of a health information system in a health center. In PERMENKES No. 31 of 2019, the Puskesmas Information system is an arrangement that provides information to assist the decision-making process in implementing the management of the Puskesmas in achieving its activity targets. Recording is a series of activities to document the results of observations, measurements, and/or calculations at each step of the health effort carried out by the Puskesmas. Furthermore, data collection by observation was carried out to determine the process of filling out medical records and the results of filling out medical records. The results of the analysis will be made into a strategic issue which will then be followed up with a focus group discussion, so that it can produce recommendations in an effort to improve the completeness of medical records at the Talun Kenas Health Center.

Policy implementation is transferring policies into programs and actions so that it requires various conditions related to the form of the problem to be solved by implementing the policy itself, environmental conditions that influence implementation, implementation organization and implementation resources and allocated resources. In addition to providing community health guidance, puskesmas also have the main task of providing health services. Health services are first-level health services that have been carried out properly or not according to the community. The quality of health services must always be improved. One way to improve quality is to solicit feedback from the customer community or service users. To measure the level of customer satisfaction as service users and improve the quality of health services at the Deli Tua Health Center, a customer satisfaction survey is needed

Abstract

Excellent service is a new strategy in an effort to increase patient satisfaction in puskesmas services. Along with the demands of the community for the quality of services at the Puskesmas, it is necessary to have good knowledge and understanding of everyone who works at the Puskesmas so that the implementation of excellent service policies in increasing outpatient satisfaction is carried out through socialization efforts. It is hoped that with the socialization there will be cohesiveness of all officers in outpatient services in implementing the policy.

Abstract

Akunpunktur adalah  salah satu teknik pengobatan yang berasal dari cina. Pengobatan akupunktur adalah suatu teknik penyembuhan dengan memasukkan jarum pada titik-titik tertentu pada tubuh pasien. Ketidakmerataan fasilitas kesehatan di lingkungan pemukiman yang terpencil dan didukung pada budaya dilingkungan tersebut menjadikan pengobatan alternatif menjadi sangat berkembang di lingkungan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian  adalah untuk menjelaskan hubungan Sosiodemografi ( pendidikan, pekerjaan dan penghasilan) dan Sosiopsikologi ( persepsi dan kepercayaan) pasien terhadap pemanfaatan batra alkunpunktur di UPT.Puskesmas Delitua. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah survey dengan tipe explanatory yaitu untuk menjelaskan hubungan kausal antara variable-variabel penelitian melalui pengujian hipotesa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 96 orang. Analisis dapat dilakukan  secara univariat, bivariat, dengan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor  pendidikan, pekerjaan, penghasilan, persepsi dan kepercayaan mempunyai hubungan dengan sosiodemografi dan sosiopsikologi di UPT Puskesmas Delitua. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah variable usia nilai p value = 0,04, variable pendidikan nilai p value = 0,01, variabel pekerjaan nilai p value = 0.04, Penghasilan 0,02, variabel persepsi nilai p value = 0,01, variabel kepercayaan nilai p value = 0.00. Diharapkan  kepada pengambil kebijakan khususnya untuk memberikan pelayanan kesehatan kepada pasien ke arah  yang lebih baik untuk mecapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disorder characterized by an increase in blood glucose levels due to interference with insulin action, or both. Hyperglycemia is the definition of a condition when blood glucose levels increase beyond normal limits. Discharge Planning is a process of interaction between multidisciplinary health workers, patients, and families who collaborate to provide and help nurse continuity that patients need. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the implementation of discharge planning and recurrence of hyperglycemia in DM patients at the Pandan Regional General Hospital, Central Tapanuli Regency in 2020. The research sample was 55 respondents using simple random sampling technique. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive correlation method with cross sectional research design and data collected from respondents using a questionnaire sheet. The results of statistical tests carried out with a confidence level of 95% with = 0.05 obtained the value of p = 0.001, then p 0.001 <α (0.05). Or Ho is rejected, Ha is accepted, thus there is a relationship between the implementation of Discharge planning and recurrence of hyperglycemia in DM patients at the Pandan Regional General Hospital, Central Tapanuli Regency in 2020. Suggestions for the Pandan Regional General Hospital are expected to the Pandan Regional General Hospital for the results of this study. can be used as a reference in formulating nursing care planning in an effort to increase self-care knowledge and attitudes to DM clients.

Abstract

Every organization, both government and private, is required to be able to optimize its human resources, as well as how to manage human Resources. Human resource management cannot be separated from the factor of employees who are expected to be able to achieve as much as possible to achieve the goals of a government organization. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of employee performance on the quality of service at the UPT Special Eye Hospital, North Sumatra Province. The design of this study was to use a case control with chi-square test. The sample in the study amounted to 32 respondents. The results showed that there were 16 respondents in the case group and 16 respondents in the control group. There is a significant relationship between employee quality variables (p-value = 0.026, OR = 0.111 (0.019-0.659)), employee communication (p-value = 0.037, OR = 0.086 (0.009-0.815)) and employee abilities (p-value = 0.034, OR=6,600(1,403-31,051)) on service quality and it is known that the employee performance variable that most dominantly affects service quality is the employee's ability variable where (p-value=0,034, OR=6,600). Although the influence of employee performance on service quality at UPT Hospital Especially for the eyes of North Sumatra, it is included in the "good" category, but there are still a small number of people who feel dissatisfied with the services provided by employees.

Abstract

Penyakit HIV/AIDS merupakan penyakit infeksi penyebab kematian peringkat atas dengan angka kematian dan angka kejadian penyakit yang tinggi serta membutuhkan diagnosis serta terapi yang cukup lama . Infeksi HIV pada ibu hamil dapat mengancam kehidupan ibu dan selain itu juga dapat menularkan virus kepada bayinya. Virus HIV dapat ditularkan dari ibu yang terinfeksi HIV kepada anaknya selama kehamilan saat persalinan dan menyusui. Infeksi HIV dari ibu ke anak dapat dicegah, melalui upaya pencegahan penularan dari ibu ke anak yang merujuk dari rekomendasi WHO, dimana pada dasarnya semua ibu hamil ditawarkan tes HIV. Penawaran tes HIV  pada  ibu  hamil  bisa  dilakukan  saat  ibu  datang  untuk kunjungan antenatal (ANC). Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui Hubungan persepsi manfaat tes HIV, Status perkawinan, jumlah kunjungan ANC, Pengetahuan dan dukungan suami dengan penerimaan tes HIV pada ibu hamil di Puskesmas Ddelitua. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah analitik dengan pendekatan crossectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan Puskesmas Deli Tua. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu hamil yang berkunjung ke puskesmas Delitua, sampel yang digunakan dengan sampel minimal sebanyak 96 orang. Analisis dapat dilakukan  secara univariat, bivariat, multivariat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan persepsi tes HIV, Status Perkawinan, Jumlah Kunjungan ANC, Pengetahuan, Dukungan Suami dengan penerimaan tes HIV. Diharapkan kepada tenaga kesehatan untuk melakukan kunjungan kepada ibu hamil untuk pemeriksaan kesehatan dalam pencegahan HIV
